  1. With the war having ended and a new area to explore opening up, Solaria took it as her duty to take a look at what new dangers may be lurking the Hyland region. It was the land of the caenis and likely other races she'd never met before, but more importantly to her, it was a land of discovery.

What better place to practice her new magic skills than a place that was just as new to her?

Still, there was safety in numbers. Knowing this, she thought it made sense to ask a friend to join her in making sure the first part of the path into the new region was safe for people to travel upon. At the very beginning of the mountainous trail, she took a peek at her friend list to see who was online. Thanks to alphabetizing, she was able to find @Alric Stalwart was online pretty quickly.

Naturally, that was a good enough reason to send him a quick message, asking him to join her.

She flicked her hand in the air using the UI to send a quick request to join her at the start of the mountain trail near the edge of the Hylands, sitting put when she hit send in hopes he'd reply favorably. She kept an eye on the rest of her friend list as she waited for his answer, her senses focused on the surroundings outside for her eyes.

Closing the window and adjusting her form to be prepared for an attack, she relaxed a bit and turned to let her back face the mountain, waiting for him to arrive. "Something tells me he'll come... Maybe my new magic is already working." With a giggle, the rest of her words fell strictly through her thoughts. Grandma Machi would be proud if I'm right.

  2. “Hey, sorry I'm late!”

It was nice to see Solaria again now that things had settled down in the aftermath of the war with Falderen. Now with the discovery of Hylands, the race to start exploring the region was on. When he received a message from the woman earlier in the day he couldn't pass up the opportunity to travel into the unknown. Who knew what they'd be able to find?

Waving to the green haired player as he approached, Alric stopped a few feet in front of her and offered a grin. His eyes then shifted from her to the mountain trail ahead; a mixed feeling of uneasiness and excitement churning in his stomach before speaking again.

“So, we're going that way then? There hasn't been much info spread about this region… Kinda interesting if you ask me.”

Perhaps he'd be able to put his vocations to work once they moved further in. A land in the mountains was bound to have a ruin or two to visit and plenty of lost souls wandering trails like these. For the sake of improvement he'd work hard to find a way to train his skills while he was here.
