Private - A day off in Boston

  1. Rayvil thought about it and nodded, deciding that it'd be good to have all that food ready for those specific times. He gestured to the man's car, "Mind if we take that?" He asked, wanting to see the inside of that beauty actually pretty badly.

  2. Arctodus considered it for only a moment, before pulling out his keys and tossing them to Rayvil, who deftly swiped them out of the air in relfex. "Not only can we take it, but you can drive seeing as I don't know where anything is in this city." In mere moments they had both thrown their shoes and socks on and walked out and to the sidewalk where they promptly got in Arctodus's beauty of a car and peeled off.

  3. Shoes and socks - In that order - because fuck school. Keys going from hand, it ignition as the motor vehicle began to purr with the gasoline engine coming online. He grinned widely as he checked all the things; The view of the rear view mirror and side panels, the distance of the seat, how far back it was leaned, etc. And just like that, they were off, the man making a mental note of how the things kind of were before so he could reset them for the giant. Within a few moments they were at a local grocery store; it wasn't one of the supermarkets, just a local Boston chain that had been operating since the late 1800s. There, he picked up various things, such as chilis and spices, bits of meat to throw in with the chili, and rising Yeast. "You like Chili Bowls?" He asked as he threw them into the cart, Dinner was handled. Now for Lunch. He decided that the easiest thing to do were the boxed macaroni and cheeses, going so far as to buy pre-shredded pepperjack to add to it and make it more flavourful. Lunch, check. Grabbing an assortment of beverages and checking his balance on his phone, the man was pleased to see that if Terra did nothing else, it certainly saved him money. So, confident he had enough to do this shopping and still have a comfortable amount left over, the man went and got blueberry pancake mix and a bottle of syrup with some bacon strips. Breakfast Check. He turned to Arctodus and made the offer of: "If you want anything else, grab it now and throw it in, I will meet you at Checkout 6."

  4. Boy did Arctodus like chili, although he would probably have to pass on some of the more hot spices, as though he liked spicy stuff, he couldn't hang to the degree Rayvil could. Hearing the mans question, the only thing he went to go grab before meeting with him was a carton of eggs and loaf of bread to have to go with the pancakes and bacon. Afterwards he went to the aforementioned checkout and they tidied up their business here. "Go ahead and start the car, I will put the groceries in the back seat."

  5. Rayvil raised an eyebrow at the bread and eggs, but his first guess was probably french toast. Good enough for him, there was probably cinnamon somewhere in the house to complete that picture. He nodded in agreement with Arctodus' statement, his instinct being to ask if he needed help, then realized how dumb that was. And with that, he started the car, the purr turning on and heading on home once Arc got into the passenger side seat.

  6. They arrived back without issue and headed inside to prepare the meal, Arctodus to go make the macaroni and cheese, while telling Rayvil that he could go pick out the next movie for them to watch as they grub out, as he trusted the mans judgement. He set the noodles to a boil and made sure to set the pepperjack cheese out, melting them in when it was time. He grabbed two plates and spoons and brought the macaroni into the living room to see what movie Rayvil picked out.

  7. Still on that Sci-fi theme, of course, Ray picked out War of The Planet of the Apes.
Fifteen years earlier, the ALZ-113 virus - also known as the Simian Flu - spread across the globe, leading to a rise of intelligent apes. Their leader, Caesar , had tried to maintain peace between the apes and humans, until Koba betrayed the apes and brought on the dawn of a new conflict. Now, Caesar and his clan are hiding out in a command base in the Muir Woods while a ruthless Special Forces Colonel of the military faction Alpha-Omega is out to get them. The humans and apes are now caught up in all-out war.

A team of soldiers quietly move through the woods to locate the apes. They are being helped by an ape named Red , whom the soldiers refer to as "Donkey". Red and another ape loyal to Koba look out for the command base. The soldiers launch their attack on the base by opening fire, but the apes retaliate with great force, hurling spears and shooting at soldiers as they ride on horses. Red, along with several surviving soldiers, are captured. Caesar decides to spare them and send them back to their camp unharmed to send the message that the apes are peaceful. Red, meanwhile, escapes from the hold of Winter and runs back to the camp.
Maurice, Rocket, and Bad Ape all help dig through an underground tunnel for the apes to escape, just as the other military faction arrives to start killing McCullough's soldiers. Caesar goes to kill the Colonel himself, but he finds McCullough in a degenerative state as well, and he cannot bring himself to kill him anymore. The Colonel commits suicide and Caesar goes to rejoin the apes, but he is hit with an arrow by one of the Colonel's soldiers. An ape named Red who worked with the humans then redeems himself by killing that soldier and helping Caesar get out, even as Red is executed for what he did.

The Colonel's men are killed when Caesar blows up a fuel tank, and the enemy soldiers are killed when an avalanche comes down, but the apes and Nova survive by climbing up trees.

The apes make it to a new home, but Caesar is dying from his wound. After Maurice assures him that his youngest son will be safe and know how heroic his father was, Caesar dies peacefully.
