The old man nodded as he listened to the young man navigated the questions, listening to each and every word that came out of
@Emerath Katou's mouth. Having experienced the youth's enthusiasm for dialogues first hand, he held back all words until Emerath finished his exploration of the questions. Lifting his head up, the old man flashed Emerath a strange smile before he grabbed the hem of his black, silken hood and pulled it down further over his face. The gesture could be read as something that was akin to a courteous tip of the hat, though it wasn't something that was commonly used.
"Good answers, yes! I can see that you are indeed very invested in the citizenry's affair. I also did find commonalities with other answers. But, unfortunately, the few differences are graver than I had thought. This is not the end, however, for I do not believe I had had a lapse in judgement when I brought you here. As such, I believe our paths may cross again in the future, but until then, I bid you adieu."
The moment the old man finished speaking, Emerath is overcame by a blinding flash as well as a dull blaring that drowned out the background ambiance. When the youth opened his eyes next, he would find himself where he had been standing a while ago. The door that was in the corner of the room seemed to be missing, any questions directed to the drunken patrons would be met with laughter or jeering because there had never been a door like that in the tavern since the day it was built.
