  1. The frothy water of Brisshal’s coast shone with a golden light as the sun began to descend below the horizon. It seemed early, but then again, this did still qualify as winter, so the days were pretty short. Nothing was out of the ordinary, aside from a young, teenaged Felis girl with dark, teal hair wandering across the beach. She was staring intently at the air, reciting something.

“Health, Energy, Water, Food, Rest, and Temperature are important factors the player must tend to in the game…” she repeated from the wiki she’d opened from her palm menu. “So it is like the for reals, but with more of the numberings,” she commented to the quiet beach, wiggling her ears just for the fun of it. “This is making the sense.”

Celestine continued to read to herself from the wiki as she went along, circling a nearby crab. “I wish I could be having these meters for the real body, instead of the feelings of hungry.” She paused her reading for a moment to gaze out into the start of a sunset as the golden color across the water bloomed all the more vibrant. “Many pretties,” she chimed, observing it with a delighted smile. She was about to move on, when - all of a sudden - her eyes were met with a flash of color in front of her…

  2. A blinding, swirling white light appears before the Felis, the silhouette of a person being slowly built up from the ground could be barely seen through the light. Then the light quickly dissipated, and before her, was another female Felis. Her dark hair fell around the shoulders of her jacket and scarf as she took control of her new virtual body and moved a little.

Before Cherish even opened her eyes for the first time, she felt her self sink slowly into a grainy soil, and she could see through her new eyelids a bright yellow light she could only assume was the sun. Her silver eyes opened, and she was given a wonderful first sight. Gazing into the new world, Cherish first saw the bright, yellow sun that was setting across the sparkling ocean out from what she realized now was a beautiful white sand beach that her boots had sunken into.

Cherish bent down before jumping up into the air excitedly. "Oh my god, this is so much cooler than I thought it would be, it's so pretty, and sparkly!" she closed her eyes again and began making short jumps into the air while she spun, not realizing the other person next to her. Cherish opened her eyes and stopped spinning, and ended up facing the girl behind her, startling her and causing her to fall into the soft sand below.

"Ahhh!" Cherish yelled on the ground, before she clumsily stood back up and brushed her self off the best she could. craning her head to look behind her, Cherish pouted and mumbled to herself, "Awww, now I've got sand in my tail fur, and on my pants." She turned back around to the blue eyed Felis, a blue like the sea, she noted. "I'm sorry. i didn't realize you were there, are you a Tutorial NPC?" Cherish tilted her head, her ears perked up as she waited for a response from what she assumed was an NPC

  3. Celestine blinked once, then twice, staring at what had just happened. She’d thought this particular spot of the beach was picture perfect, with a beautiful view of the ocean, a nice little rocky outcropping off to the side, and some trees behind. It seemed the designers of the game also thought this the perfect spot, since the spot 3 feet in front of her was a literal spawn point for new players. At least, that’s what it looked like, as a cat-eared girl suddenly began to form right in front of her.

Celestine should stood there, arms up to cover her mouth as she let out an incredibly soft and high pitched ‘squeeing’ sound that easily could’ve been mistaken for a mosquito. Between each finger - if one was either perceptive or came at it from the right angle - one could catch sight of a goofy grin. Celly let the other Felis have her little spin, but once she’d finally noticed her, Celly finally let out all that built up energy.

“Eeeeeeeeee, cuuuuuute!” She launched forward, completely ignoring the girl’s question and giving her an incredibly tight hug, stroking the ears on top of her head with a series of incomprehensible giggles. It was an odd sight, for several reasons. Firstly, they were both people: actual, humanoid people. Second, Celestine had similar looking cat ears on her own head. And to top it all off, she was a good few inches shorter than the pouty girl receiving a surprise glomp.

After she’d stolen as much ear rubbing as she could manage, Celly finally detached herself and paused for a moment to catch her breath. “Whew… I am great sorry...” she staggered, clearly still out of breath. “You are a new one, yes? I am Celestine, and you are of the perfect timing. If you are wanting to, you can follow myself while I do the readings of the game guide.” She gave the unfortunate newbie a kind smile, hoping not to have completely turned her away from the idea of coming along with her little outburst a few moments ago.

  4. Cherish yelped as the girl jumped towards her, and tried to dodge out of the way, but she was too close to cherish, and she didn't have enough time to get out of the way before falling on the ground for the second time already. Who is this? they seem very eager, she thought to herself before her mind was brought to the sensation of her ears being stroked. (This and being knocked to the ground was Cherish's first hint as to this person not actually being a NPC)

A purring sound began to emanate from Cherish's throat and she curled her hands up to her chin as the rubbing continued. But she was soon left with out it, and - after composing herself - she stood up and dusted herself off. (Again!) Now that she finally had the chance to look at the other Felis while they spoke, Cherish noted that the girl looked quite a bit younger than her. Or at the very least a bit shorter, for cherish's chin came up to about the other girl's eye level.

She also noticed that there were quite a few...oddities in how the person talked, like they didn't really know English all that well. That was her second hint to the fact. Still a bit surprised, it took a little bit for cherish to respond. "Uhh, w-what? S-sorry, could you repeat that first question?" Calming herself a bit more, Cherish began to smile "Well, that sounds a bit boring, but after we do that, can we go fight something?! I wanna see how the combat works!" She bent down slightly as she spoke, like she was going to pounce. Well, three strikes and you're out, is the saying, and the girl reading a "game guide" was the 3rd and final hint needed for Cherish to realize that this was, in fact, a player and not an NPC.

  5. Celestine’s adoration of the other Felis increased magnitudes as she realized one delightful fact: she was purring! While she was petting her, she was purring! Almost like a real cat! That was all kinds of satisfying, but - more importantly - it was also incredibly adorable: something that Celestine ate up like candy. Given the way she’d flipped out, it had the same hyperactive effect of candy as well.

“What question did I do the asking of again,” Celestine responded with a question of her own, confused? She pondered a moment, searching her brain. “Oh, yes! I was doing the wondering if you are of newness, but I am thinking that it is obvious that you are, from the excites you were doing the showing of.” She returned a friendly smile to hopefully show the other girl it wasn't meant as an insult.

“You are of great eagerness,” Celestine exclaimed, noticing her little attacking position! “Goodness. We will do the skipping of the tutorial readings then.” She seemed glad to have something to distract her from the dull agony that was reading tons and tons of text. Truthfully it wasn’t that bad, but it was a whole lot less exciting than figuring things out in the moment, so she was happy to go along with Cherish’s request.

“Umm… hmm… let us do the seeing,” she stalled, looking around at the beach for something of the living variety. It was actually very peaceful at the moment, without anything particularly threatening showing up within eyeshot. The perfect time and place for this girl to have spawned, honestly. Failing to find anything, Celestine wandered a few feet in either direction, as if something would become clear from 10 seconds of walking away.

Luckily, by chance, she did find something that could work for the sake of teaching a newbie. A small hermit crab, which could easily have been mistaken as a random shell, sitting there in the middle of the sand. Drawing herself a big arrow in the sand so she wouldn’t forget where it was, Celestine made a little sprint back to the other Felis’s side and led her over to the helpless little creature.

“It is of perfection for the learning of new persons,” she explained, pointing toward the shell. “See if you can figure out the understandings of combat before you do the fightings of a beast of greater danger.” Without bothering to explain anything, Celestine stepped back, hands behind her back as she watched the girl to see what she’d do. Her eyes seemed to focus specifically on the fluffy ears of the other Felis, and her own tail swished with the repressed urge to tackle-pet her again.

  6. Huh, she's still talking like that? She certainly is strange... Cherish thought before answering the restated question, "Oh, yeah. That was my first time logging into the game, back there." She points over her shoulder with her thumb, even though she's pretty much still standing where she first spawned in

Cherish's ears perked up as the other Felis came running back. Has she already found an enemy. This seems like far too close to where I spawned. As the Felis moved out of the way, Cherish was left a bit confused as she crossed the crest to see what was there. her tail began to swish back and forth slowly behind her as she switched her gaze back and forth between the girl, and the indicated crab ahead of her; a blank stare on her face.

Cherish's mouth opened and closed a few times before she spoke "You realize that's a hermit crab, right, not a big monster crab. I'm not going to just kill that." Cherish walks over to the crab, accidentally destroying the arrow the girl had made. Kneeling down, she gently lifts the little crab up by his shell. Once stood back up, she slowly walks back over to the the other Felis, and - with her other hand held flat - places the crab on her hand, in full view of the the girl.

"Look how cute he is!" The excitement had returned to her voice it seemed, and her ears were once again forward. "He's so small, he couldn't do anything to hurt us badly" Cherish places the crab back down on the sand, a little ways away, and pats it on the shell, before coming back to the girl. "We can try to find something else, but first I feel like we should get some things settled prior. My name's Cherish, nice to meet you!" She tilts her head and smiles, before waiting for a response.

  7. “Yes, yes. It is the hermit of the crabs. It is of great smallness and not of much danger,” Celly explained, trying to reassure her that she could handle it. She tried her best to put on a reassuring smile, and slowly leaned over to the side to get a better look as the other Felis met her adversary. A battle between the newbie and the bite sized challenge she faced. Except, there was only one casualty and it wasn’t either of them…

“Aww, you have done the killing of the great art of mine,” she pouted as the Felis left a giant sand smudge on her arrow. She was acting a bit upset, but given how quickly she dropped the topic, it seemed as though it was meant as a joke. Or maybe just a random comment. Either way, it was forgotten immediately as Cherish came up to her with the hermit crab in hand.

“Uh… huh,” she hummed, clearly unconvinced at its ‘cuteness.’ As if it was trying to convince Celly of it’s fabulous kawaii powers, the crab slowly peeked its orange little head out of the shell and looked back at her, before quickly squeezing back inside. “Well um… I guess it is ‘the eye of the beholder’ where the cuteness is,” she decided, agreeing to disagree.

As Cherish introduced herself, Celestine bent over to grab the crab in her own hand. “I am Celestine,” she repeated, focused on the crab. “Oh, but I think I was doing the saying of my name before.” She shook her head and changed topics.

“Anyway, you are doing the underestimating of the champion of mine. This is not a normal of the hermit crabs. This is Hermcules, the crabbiest of the crabs. His size is not of the importance, for his spirit is of great fighting.” She held the crab up beside Cherish’s left cat ear. “Go, my champion of crabbiness! Show Cherish the spirit of the fighting that is yours!”

‘Hemcules’ hesitantly peeked out of his shell and seemed to be taking in what this fluffy object in front of him was. “Go on…” Celly urged with a nudge of her hand, but the crab had the adverse reaction and recoiled back into the shell. “Huh… I am guessing that my champion is of tiredness after a day of glorious fightings. I will let him do a rest instead,” she relented, finally placing the crab back down in the sand.

“Anyway,” Celestine continued while starting to wander off along the coast, “as long as we are doing the searching of great beasties, you can be doing the practicing.” She slid a purple seashell off to the side with her boot, seemingly having curved her course off to the side just so that it was in her way in the first place. “What are the skills of Cherish,” she asked? “You should be doing the discovering of how they work.”

  8. "Oh I'm sure the tales of his deeds are spoken all throughout his lands, but now he's in a land of Giants, and he's severely out matched." Cherish couldn't help but laugh at the hilarity of the situation as the girl - Celestine - held up the newly dubbed 'Hermcules' up to her ear. While she didn't move away from the crab, she did turn her head and bare her teeth to intimidate the little hermit. All the while she tried not to burst out laughing more than she already had been.

Cherish watched as the crab scuttled away from the duo, surely frightened by the beauty and strength of the amazing Cherish. Turning back to Celestine - which was quite a long name so she should really get on shortening it. "By skills, you mean masteries, right." Cherish holds up 3 fingers, lowing them after each mastery's name. "I believe I chose Cleaving, Berserk and Acrobat. Now, let's find something to kill! And something that's not really tiny, OK?" Cherish's voice got louder as she spoke, hyping herself up for a fight as they wandered along the white sand beach.

  9. “Oh, yes. The masteries. I am thinking that is the thing that they are called,” Cel nodded, confirming Cherish’s guess. Her ears wiggled playfully as Cherish listed them in an order that probably didn’t matter. She couldn’t help but show a little surprise at the girl’s choices though. “Rawr,” she commented with a smug casualness as she mimicked some sort of hunting cat to tease the girl a bit. “No wonder Hermcules - the champion of mine - was of worry. He is the fighter of the mages, and was not having the expectations of a lion,” she explained like it all made sense now.

Celly took a good long look at Cherish as she expressed interest in fighting something bigger and stronger than her alleged champion of hermit crabs. She stared intently into her eyes as if sizing her up… and finally nodded. “I am seeing that you are of wanting to be doing the fighting of a much greater beastie. I will do a saluting of the bravery of Cherish,” she said, bringing her hand up to her forehead. She paused there a moment to let the honor sink in, then released it, turning on her heels. “I know the place that is of perfection for the finding of such beastie, as I did the passing of it just earlier.”

Two men sat by the coast, both wearing the typical-looking tan hats which you’d expect from fishermen. If this weren’t enough to hint at the fact that they were - in fact - fishermen, the fishing poles they were fiddling with would have easily been enough to drive the fact home. Of the two, the short man who was probably a Faerin looked a bit nervous.

“Hey,” he started, hooking a fresh worm onto the lure, “Are you sure this spot is safe? I mean… it’s awfully close to...” he didn’t finish. He didn’t need to. All that was necessary was a single glance over at the massive, rocky hole in the cliff. Truthfully, it was less of a hole, and more of a giant bubble of land, creating something like a grotto. Either way, it was dark, ominous, and the only thing of note that the short little man could be referring to.

“Eh, don’t worry,” the taller fisherman reassured him, giving him a snarky pat on the head. “I’ve been here like 20 times now: it only comes out at night as long as you’re quiet. Plus, no one fishes around here, so the catching is easy-peasy. Just… ya know… don’t make any loud sounds and we’ll be fine.”

“Uhh...” he hummed anxiously, pointing in the direction of the cave. “Do you think they know that?”

“Huh?” The taller man turned to notice two Felis girls who were already halfway to the cave opening from their own position. “Crap, are they some of those adventuring types?”

    “Probably.”

    “Wanna hightail it outta here?”

    “Yep.”

“Behold, the cave of challenging beastie,” Celestine chimed, throwing her arms out to present the massive grotto to Cherish. From here, they could tell it was incredibly dark inside and seemed to consist mostly of deep water. “Cherish will be able to be doing the showing of her lion-like prowess.” Celly raised her hand in the air, then pointed her fingers forward towards the cave, muttering a soft chant. She finished it up with a dramatic shout.

    “Lightning Bolt!”

A thin light snapped from her fingers and shot into the cave, illuminating it for a fraction of a second. The zap of lightning had made a little cracking noise, but the tremendous, screeching roar that came from the cave rumbled the entire beach with a tremor that could literally be felt through one’s whole body. A massive tentacle that looked like as thick as the mast of a galley felt its way out of the darkness, followed by several more of similar size.

Celly gave Cherish a pat on the head and promptly began to back away. “It is a beastie of much more greatness, which will be of much more challenge to do the fighting of. Good luck,” she offered, turning away from the cave and bolting for the treeline. “I will be doing the watching from the safety of the trees,” she called behind her!

  10. Cherish had noticed the two men that had been fishing while they walked. What made her wary of where her partner was taking her though, was that soon after they spotted her and Celestine - who she would now be dubbing 'Cell' in the interest of not having to say her full name - they quickly packed up their things and rushed away, like they were running from something. "Hey Cell, why'd those two fishermen leave? And where the heck are you taking me?" Cherish's second question was soon answered though, as she leaned around Celestine to see a huge hole in the cliff face. As they neared the entrance, she was only able to get out one hesitant remark before Cell shot her dinky little magic lightning into the darkness. "I hope you know what you're doing..." That dinky bolt must have done the trick though, because then all hell broke loose.

The roar sounded first, and it was like nothing Cherish or Sabrina had ever heard before. As the bloodcurdling scream died down, the first of the giant tentacles appeared out from within the darkness. Cherish began to back up slowly at the sight of this. "Um, Cell, I think you're overcompensating just a bit, this isn't quite what I meant when I said 'something that's not really tiny'." As more of the tentacles appeared, she looked to her side to find that Cell had abandoned her. Spinning around quickly, cherish ran after the felis, waving her axe at the girl. "OH! And you weren't even going to help me with fighting it?!" She couldn't believe this; first, a tiny hermit crab, and now some sort of KRAKEN! Cherish looked back towards the cave for a second, to see about 6 different tentacles waving around outside of the dark grotto, hitting the cliff sides and causing rocks to fall loose into the ocean below.

Reaching the treeline where Cherish figured she would be safe, she spotted Celestine, peeking at her and the monster in the grotto from around a tree. Cherish’s tail began to move very quickly behind her, her eyes constricted and her ears turned back as she stomped over to where the other felis girl hide. Thunk. An axe was embedded into the side of the tree in front of where Celestine stood, and a second later, Cherish appears behind it. “What the hell is THAT?!” she points back behind her are the flailing tentacles a ways off. “Is this some kind of sick joke, or do you just want to get us killed?” Cherish rips the axe back out of the tree, and places it back on her hip as she impatiently waits for Cell to explain herself.

  11. Celly mostly ignored Cherish’s shouts of annoyance, finding it hard not to chuckle to herself. A wide grin did, however, spread over her face as she bolted and took cover behind a nice, tall, maple tree. Peeking her head from the rough, brown bark, she watched to make sure Cherish did - in fact - run off after her. The situation was hilarious, but it wasn’t worth getting the newbie killed over, so if she had to drag the girl over here, she’d do just that.

Luckily, it seemed Cherish was smart enough to realize how out-classed she was and followed along shortly after before the monstrous beast had a chance to sniff out where the two were headed. In the distance, it roared and thrashed about, beating the water with its tentacles and collapsing a bit of the cliff face with a solid thwack. However, since it was unable to find where the source of the lightning had come from, it slowly ducked back into the cave, figuring it wasn’t worth the trouble over just a puny little sting.

Celestine immediately noticed something off about Cherish’s ‘cat features.’ It was just the sort of thing her real cat, Oreo, did when she was upset. Cel figured it was definitely worth it for the humor of the moment, but now came the part where she needed a decent excuse. Hm…

Cel jumped back as the ax lodged itself into her precious tree of safety, her ears pressing down towards her head for a moment of surprise. That was awfully close to her head. “It is the most giant of squid beast,” she answered with a simple and sweetly helpful tone. “It is the beast that even Hermcules can not do the fighting of. I was thinking that you wanted to be doing the seeing of the greatest of the beasties,” she excused her behavior, hoping the other Felis would buy it.

“I am of gladness that you did a run,” Cel admitted, showing that she clearly did not expect Cherish to actually have fought it. “I wanted to do the seeing of how you faced the most powerful of the beasties. I am glad you are of enough smarts to do your run,” she continued, hoping that this was enough to - at the very least - not make the adorable catgirl hate her. “Come this way, then. We will do the finding of a beastie of medium size,” she beckoned with a friendly smile, starting to walk off into the woods and hoping she’d follow her lead.

  12. Cherish was unamused by Celestine's attempt at making an excuse for her actions, but she did enjoy how she jumped back from the axe that appeared before her, a small smirk appearing on her face before disappearing back into the annoyance that she felt at Cell. "Well, you thought wrong then. What kind of person interprets someone's words to mean that? You knew that we wouldn't stand a chance against that thing, but you brought us anyways. Why? What if I hadn't been able to get away in time? What if it had decided to follow us?! You would have been responsible for the death of a new player, and maybe even yourself." Cherish gives no mercy to the Celestine as the words flow and she lays down these questions upon the girl, leaving no time for her to answer before the next arrived. None, until she finishes speaking and expectantly waits for the girl to answer. As long as it takes.

Cherish laughs and shakes her head as she sees Cell attempt to lead her away again. "Oh, no no no... I don't think that's how we'll be doing things." Stepping towards Cell as she attempted to get Cherish to follow her, She places a firm hand on the girl's shoulder, stopping her in her tracks. "I'm not trusting you with finding another monster, so you'll be following me instead." If Cell was facing her, she would be able to see that although Cherish's tail had calmed down, her ears were still back and the pupils of her silver eyes were still thin, there was no arguing with this decision. Cherish lifted her hand off of Cell, and stood for a second, contemplating which direction she would lead them.

Cherish decides for them to head off a bit left of where Cell had wanted to go. Turning her head back towards Celestine, she announces her decision to the felis. "Hey! We're going this way, come on." Cherish gestures with her hand in the direction that she had decided. Her tone had softened a little bit, she didn't really want to stay mad at Cell. It was just that she made an incredibly dumb decision that could have gotten them both killed. Dusk begins to set in as Cherish makes her way with Celestine through the forest, making it increasingly hard to see where or what she was placing her foot on. Every so often as they walked, cherish checked behind her to see if Celestine was still following close. Fortunately, they exit the forest before it was impossible to see where they were and arrive on the edge of some vast plains. Off in the distance on their right side, Cherish could see lights. Presumably a town or village, but she had no intention of going there just yet.

  13. Celly returned an awkward grin from Cherish’s smirk that was more tense than friendly. “Eheh. Heh,” she staggered out a few chuckles, scratching the back of her head. “I was th--” she was cut off. “It was--” and again. “I would have--” and again. “It does not--” and again. She just kept going and going and going, on and on. What a lecture. My, this girl really did not hold back when she was annoyed, did she? “I um...” this time Cell cut herself off, trailing her words, stalling for a little time to think about it. What sort of answer did this other cat girl want from her anyway? It was just a little joke….

“I was doing you a showing of the ultimate goal,” she answered, perking back up. Yes, that was a good explanation. “Now that you are of knowing what is of weakness and what is of ultimate strongness, you can be doing the finding of something that is of the middle.” It was a pretty questionable motive, but she stuck with it, stealing another anxious glance at the shiny ax firmly grasped by the other girl. “Now I was thinking that there was something of the middle in this direction if you just do a follo--” but she was cut off again and yanked back two steps in.

Celestine glanced over Cherish with a curious and unsure look. She wasn’t exactly a veteran herself, but at least she’d been around the area for about a week. That made her sempai! At least… a one-week long sempai! Clearly, she should know where to be going more than the girl who had just joined in like 20 minutes ago. Still, the way the girl carried herself, Celly could tell from a simple glance that nothing she could say to her would change Cherish’s mind. Sighing, she slouched a bit and trudged along behind Cherish, pouting.

“Are you of knowing where you should even be doing the walking,” she asked, already knowing the answer. It was more of her snarky way of saying: “I see that you’re lost, maybe you should let me lead for a while.” Another several minutes passed. As usual, Cel hadn’t a clue just how long, since her perception of time was just plain bad. The only thing that hinted at what time it was, was the sun slowly starting to fall under the horizon. It sure felt like an awfully long time during which they found nothing of interest though.

Each time Cherish peeked behind her to confirm Celestine was there, she could swear the girl was growing less and less irritated. After the half-dozenth time, they’d finally broken out of the forest, and she figured this was her opportunity. Closing the distance between them, she reached up to pet Cherish’s ears again as they crossed the plains. “Are you not thinking that I should be doing the leading now,” she asked calmly and sweetly? “It is soon to be of great darkness, and we are of lostness.”

It must’ve been at least half-an-hour that they were trekking through those woods, and they’d not found a single monster, dungeon, or town. Celestine - knowing this - was trying to abuse the girl’s impatience and work down her resistance. Unfortunately for her, as the two of them ascended to the top of a small, grassy hill, the lights of a small town came into view, causing Celly to choke for a moment in surprise. “Eeehhhh!?” She glared at the town in disbelief, annoyed that Cherish had actually found something on her own. Lucky girl. No doubt finding this would give her the confidence boost she needed. “Town of stupidness,” she pouted, idly kicking a stone as she shuffled behind Cherish, already having given up taking the lead.

  14. Cherish was a bit surprised that Celestine didn't try to talk to her more than she did while they made their way through the woods. It wasn't until they had actually left the woods that Cell actually said anything. But of course, it was accompanied by the girl trying to get a quick pet in on her ears. Celestine wasnt really the quietest in approaching her, and cherish was easily able to sidestep her, and instead of cell petting cherish's ears, the situation was reversed. The smaller girl's ears were quite soft she supposed, and it certainly felt like Sabrina's cat's fur in real life.

"No, I don't think you should be leading. Where we are doesn't matter at all, I'mm not trying to go somewhere specific. I'm just hoping to happen across some enemies." As the town came into view and Cherish heard and saw Cell's reaction to it, she couldn't help but laugh as she was almost immediately shot down by the sight of it in the distance. "Don't worry, we won't be going there. there's nothing to fight in a town. Unless we got in a bar fight, but that's not really my goal at the moment." She shook her head, while they spoke; no, they weren't going to the town right now, but maybe after they had actually fought something.

They continued across the hills, and it appeared that luck had finally chanced upon Cherish. As they were crossing the crest of a hill, Cherish spotted movement off to the left of them within the valley-ish area below. It was a bit hard to spot because of the dark, but the movement appeared to be from some sort or blobs - Slimes perhaps, Cherish hadn't had a chance to look at a list of monsters in the game, if there was one. Almost immediately after spotting them, Cherish stops moving and crouches down, licking her lips. A slightly worrying grin sat on her face as she motioned for Celestine - who was walking to the left of her - to do the same (lip licking being optional, of course). "Look down there, looks like it might be slimes." She points down the hill to show where she was looking. In total, it appeared there were four slimes from what Cherish could make out, and she was ready to take them all on. Unless Cell wanted to take one of her own

  15. Instead of being met with the wondrous sensation of fluffy ears to pet, Celestine found herself gripping midair. This was fine. Why was it fine? Because instead of giving out a fluffy ear pet, she ended up receiving one of the most delightful sensations EVER. It was hard to explain: the feeling of a perfect ear scratch on a part of her body that technically didn’t even exist outside of this game. Still, it was absolutely blissful. She just couldn’t help but shut her eyes and let her head fall straight into the hands of this girl. She seemed to have the knowledge of JUST where and how to pet a cat… or a cat-person in this case. The same principle applied here, it seemed.

“Mmmm, okay,” she hummed in instant agreement, having had any sort of resistance melted away from the wonderful ear-scratch. “Are you of sureness? It is a town of comfort, where you can be doing more of the ear pets.” She tried hard to intentionally wiggle the cat ears a few times, hinting that she wanted more. Seriously though, that was surreal. What was this girl outside of the game, a cat whisperer? “But I think I am doing an understanding. Fighting can be fun. Sometimes. I guess. It is of less snuggliness though.”

Glancing back at the town, actually kinda sad that they weren’t headed that way at this point, Celestine followed Cherish along across the fields for a while longer until she finally caught sight of something. Well what do ya know? She crouched down beside Cherish, looking over at her at her side.

Is it just me, or is this girl just a little too eager…?

A massive part of Celestine reeeeaaalllly wanted to just chain lightning the lot of them to death. What would the bloodthirsty girl do at that point? How far could she push her before she actually got an ax to the face? These were questions that Celestine desperately wanted to be answered… but then she thought back on the petting. Would she really risk not getting a petting like that again? Well, that was an easy answer: no!

“Good luck. I will do a wait here,” she claimed, laying down in the soft grass. She looked like she was snuggling into a comfy spot, getting ready to watch whatever show Cherish was about to give her.
