Here she was. One moment, she was lying on her bed in the hotel room, and the next she was completely immersed in a brand new game and experience. It started simple. A little dress up and touch up with a doll. Not quite what she would have initially expected, but she still enjoyed it all the same. She made her more "sexy" than she herself was. Perhaps that would lure in people to play with better. She was told up and down how MMOs were social experiences. Although she also knew how boys could be incredibly awkward on the internet. She hoped to avoid that, at least a little. So she toned down the "sexiness" of her avatar. Even if she wasn't interested in boys in real life, that didn't mean that she didn't want to be completely uninteresting to them. And so, her avatar was born. A silver haired vixen with piercing blue eyes and a decent body. Hell, even if the boys weren't interested, maybe the girls would be. She looked like the kind of girl that Ash herself would have wanted to date. Too bad she had to play the character instead of stare at it endlessly. She heard boys do it too, so why couldn't she? She gave a bit of a mischievous chuckle as she found herself logged into a spot that appeared to be on the coast of a river, with what appeared to be a town down the way. Practically skipping at the idea that her virtual body was doing all these things that her physical body wasn't, while scary, was also exciting. She hummed as she arrived in the town and was greeted by all sorts of sights and sounds. Bustling people, kids playing, a baker making bread, a pastor sweeping. Such a quaint little area. She couldn't help but wonder if they all looked like this! What interested her most though was the bread. She moved to the bakery, and was greeted by the sweetest smelling bread in the world. Was this a delicacy of the game? Was this something she could eat and actually taste? Only one way to find out, as she reached for the morsel. In an instant, her hand was smacked away, and a woman stood in front of her scowling. "Hey! Freshly baked bread for customers only!" she shouted, and Volcanic shied away from the woman. She seemed so real. Was this another person? Without thinking, her feet carried her backwards, and Volcanic was running. She never did like getting yelled at. @Emerath Katou
Emerath was just wandering Honeyhome. He liked to do that. It was just so quaint and adorable, and was a far cry from the political disaster that was Astorea. He wanted to be there to get away from all that. Even if Astorea needed him, sometimes he needed the time off. Thankfully for Emerath Honeyhome only took a few hours to make the trip to, and so he often found himself here, regularly letting his hair down and meeting new friends. But it wasn't so often that people came to him. Usually the other way around. But today was one of the exceptions, as a silver haired girl, a girl one might consider to be very good looking in fact, ran directly into Emerath at full force. And as ill prepared for this as he was, Emerath found himself bowled over and hitting the ground hard. Emerath's breath left him as he saw a few stars float by. He was certain he had hit his head, and wasn't entirely sure where the girl went in the collision. He hoped it wasn't on top of him. He didn't need that awkward anime cliche starting things off. So instead he looked around to where she may have ended up as he muttered a bit weakly as breath returned to him, "Sorry, sorry, didn't see you miss... please tell me you're okay."
Volcanic hadn't been paying attention. No nearly as much attention as she should have been. She hadn't meant to try to steal. She wasn't that type of girl. She was so freaked out by the idea that she was running full force, and had no time to prevent the inevitable collision. Head first, she rammed directly into a shorter red haired man, and went reeling backwards. She did manage to keep her footing, but only because of a fence that she fell into. For a moment she was afraid she was going to ruin that as well, but it held under her weight. As she regained her bearings and tried her best to keep her composure, she realized what she had done, and as the man had called out to her, she called out to him, "Mister, I'm so sorry! I should have been paying more attention!" She made her way to his side and offered to help him up, as she continued, "I'm Volcanic. Oh I do hope you aren't hurt!"
Emerath was thankful that the world hadn't turned into an awkward anime situation as the girl seemed to have gone in a completely different direction from him upon collision. He sighed as the girl offered him a hand, and grasped her arm to stand back up again. And now he got the chance to look at her. She was a rather buxom girl, and easy on the eyes, and he marveled a bit at how her silver hair caught in the sunlight. "I'm not hurt. Trust me, I went through much more in the war that just happened. A girl running into me, even at full force, is really the least of my worries. I'm just glad you're okay." Emerath brushed the dirt from his lapels as she introduced herself, and Emerath returned with, "I'm Emerath Katou, engineer and explorer. It's a pleasure to meet you, despite the circumstances." And then he put his hands on his hips, and looked at the woman rather quizzically, before asking, "What were you running from anyway? This is Honeyhome, it's such a peaceful place. Nothing should have given you that much of a scare. Not even the wolves around here."
