Hm. Unfortunately unlike in many spy movies I don't see any button that might shut these beams off. I have a spell or two that can help avert a mistake or move around easier, but not totally confident in my acrobatics if you will.

I suppose it'd be too easy to assume another balloon thingy could act like a chaff grenade?

P.S. Emerath do you have a name for the thing?

Maybe if that doesn't work, if someone can use aeromancy, they could create some sort of fog that would do the same effect.

I don't have an actual name for my balloons. They're just balloons. I just use them in fun and interesting ways. Honestly, a balloon wouldn't do much to stop a beam, but mirrors would. I might be able to redirect beams away from people as we move through. I'd prefer working with others for this. I can give them mirrors and we can cover each other. Who's with me?

That sounds like it actually might work, Emerath. I think I'll take you up on that offer. Going with that, we might also be able to destroy the lasers with other lasers, using the mirrors.

Oh, this is an idea of great goodness! I can be doing a help. Maybe with my wind spell, I can do the mirror a push? Are you thinking mirrors of illusion can work?

Celestine, I hate to burst your bubble, but illusions only work on things that actually have a mental capacity to understand them. Inanimate objects won't be bothered by illusions. However, you can use aeromancy to carry a mirror. They're small, and fairly light, so it would work. In fact, you've given me an idea to use multiple mirrors with aeromancy. We can join our winds together to create a shield of mirrors blocking the lasers.

Also, I forgot to mention that I have aeromancy. I can create that fog you mentioned. Ashnor, you want to try to target lasers with your mirror while Celestine and myself attempt to block any other lasers while we move the group through?

How many mirrors do you do the carrying of when you do yourself an adventure...? Maybe it is you that is of narcissism and not the letter girl of mystery...

You know, that's fair. But honestly, mirrors make for really good tools. They can redirect beams of light, they're good for looking around corners without revealing your presence, and glass is useful for a variety of technological purposes. You have to look at these things with an engineering mind. I'm pretty adaptable.

Also at one point my research focused on trying to trap magic in a mirror... it didn't work. So now I just have a bunch of mirrors in my pack that don't do much. So I try to make excuses to use them in fun and interesting ways. Like my balloons!

I don't know about you guys, but these fruits seem like a miracle to me. maybe we should just... stay and eat for a while.
