    Personality

Commanding, respectful, reasonable, and to some extent, charming. It is always in Lucille's best interest to project a positive example for her peers, a trait which has earned her the scorn of many who looked through the facade and were disappointed by the carefree nature hidden under their noses'. In public, the youth remains collected and gentle to her fellows, ever aware of her choice of words and the weight they carry. However, in a more private setting, surrounded by the little few she might have the luxury of calling ''friends'', the polite and proper demeanor is exchanged for a relaxed and blunt nature, creating a unique contrast.

Rarely allowing her emotions to get the best of her, Lucille's first resource is to seek a peaceful solution to most problems, which often results in evading certain situations until the heat of the moment has passed, lest she get carried away by her feelings and say or do something regrettable. Firm, but fair in her decisions and the reasoning behind them as well, she appears as a young woman of strong conviction, commonly showed through her strong sense of justice.

Because of her introduction to gaming and social online interaction in her teenage years, an opportunity like no other came. One that would cause the two sides of the same coin to split even further. And as such, beneath the layers carefully crafted by years of practiced posture and proper behavior, was her true self. Her online persona, Portia.

Contrary to her ''real life'' self, Portia is driven by instinct and the practicality of Lucille, choosing to confront all her troubles head-on rather than escape them or seek a peaceful solution as she would do offline. She becomes much more prone to value action rather than words, yet she maintains Lucille's willingness to aid those who require it. At a price, of course. Even more so, her character becomes mischievous and hot-tempered, giving her emotions the control they once lacked outside of the screen.

Whether the different sides of her personality are a result of cowardice or merely a new form of freedom is not for any outsider to judge.

Positive: Resourceful, Practical, Open-minded, Dauntless, Compassionate, Outspoken.
Negative: Secretive, Rebellious, Feisty, Reckless, Cunning, Hot-headed.

    Biography

Constantly moving around wasn't the best idea, not for anyone who hadn't committed a crime, anyways. Everywhere you visited became another strange place to get used to, only to leave it behind once you had enough fond memories to hold onto. The concept of ''friends'' became a luxury, especially the good ones, and that was if they didn't forget all about you before you forget about them. This was the kind of life the blonde had been presented to since the moment she was brought into the world. Born to a couple of renowned artists who were currently staying in America at the time, one might as well say she had been exposed to a crowd since her first day alive.

Lucille became familiar with the industry of entertainment at a young age due to her parents' reputation playing a crucial role in her life. Occasionally, they would take her to expositions and events to which they had been invited, and as such, it wouldn't be acceptable for the little girl to simply stain the family name. Taught to keep an unfaltering smile upon her features while someone talked to her, to level the tone of her voice to sound gentle and sweet towards strangers and to never speak her mind out loud were just a few of the lessons learned while she was nothing more than a child. Rinse and repeat in every place she was dragged to.

No longer able to push the pressure of her surroundings aside, she created a way to set herself free. If the real world would not offer her the stability she wished, then the virtual world would. The loneliness carried from her trips wasn't much of a bother after her introduction to the online services, mainly because the people there didn't disappear after a couple of weeks. She was free to do as she pleased, all mannerisms left at the door.

Contrary to popular belief, the child displayed no signs of affinity towards art. Instead, she sought solace in mystery books and novels, building the image she wished her future to look like. Of course, the path to said future wouldn't be one without a considerate amount of difficulties, but she truly believed herself up to the task of achieving what she desired, uncertain as it might be. After graduating high school, Lucille compelled her family to settle in Boston in order to assist college and get a Criminology degree, a decision that was initially frowned upon by the couple of artists, but one to which they warmed up as time passed.

Lucille came across Terrasphere thanks to one of the gaming friends she had made online, and hadn't it been for the many rumors circling about the game's particular features, she might've missed a perfect chance to discover a brand new world. After all, the glitchy email was creepy enough on its own to drive anyone away. It was both an intriguing and exciting moment, so why enjoy it alone? While she could've done so, she instead spread the word about the game to a few trusted ones, amongst which was Isao Yukimura, the person which whom she had the pleasure of exploring games with, always moving from one to another.

It seemed Portia had found a new home.

The Last Straw She trusted him. Thought that he had a plan. Believed in his strength. But those were just lies and deceptions, trappings of self-satisfied heroism. And that's sickening. Trust was worth nothing but turd, and the only one who should be issuing orders is herself. Faith in others? Laughable. From now on, she alone called the shots, others' opinions be damned.
