The interaction between Majolica and Vina seemed to bring about a happy thought in Ilya's mind. Vina, had the patience to do what Ilya couldn't. Which brought her interest of Vina higher, and brought about a sense of admiration. Playing along with Majolica was definitely something to do for her to stick by their sides. "I myself am not adept at healing, so you and me can stick to defending the world~" The appearance of a small girl dressed in a nightgown, made Ilya rather confused. Tapping at her menu, she opened up the coordinates she had acquired. Surely, this is the right place? Upon opening her map, Ilya confirmed her location and looked at the small girl. "This is home to the Lion's Pride." The small simple fact that the girl looked too tired to know what she was talking about, made Ilya less upset about the fact that she had claimed the tavern that was the Pride's home. The next order of business seemed to be that almost everyone had agreed with her claim of fixing the place up a bit. Majolica's request brought a bit of a hassle onto Ilya's mind. "I agree with Vina, setting up in Stokbon is a good idea, everyone does love a good bake sale. As for the whole separate room idea.. I say it again, that this place is home to the Pride.. as a whole. It would not make sense for an individual member of the Pride to have their own room, if you get where I am coming from. Though.. I bet you that if player housing ever comes out that any one of us would help set you up a beautiful home." Her attention was now cast away from Majolica as she said her piece to her.. Now focusing on Emmerath and Corvella, nodding as they agreed to be of help in the restoration process. Her admiration of Vina growed as she continued to be at ease with everyone. "So, I have this plan for the proc---" Ilya's words were cut off as the door could be heard, bending from its hinges. The tall appearance of their faction leader appeared.. The king of the pride of lions. The tension that appeared in the room, the tension in which Ilya was no part of, made for an awkward situation. The diffusing method that Zeus then used, was to walk over to her and rub her on her head, roughly. This resulted in a smile to appear on her face as her lion tail flicked one way to the other in contempt. It was a few seconds later before he began to address everyone else in the room, Ilya's smile unwavering as she listened to the next voice that spoke. The answer that Vina provided was accurate enough, and a small blush crept upon her face from being called beautiful. Thus, it made her head tilt upwards, to look at Zeus' face. "How are you doing this fine morning, Zeus? Ate enough food for breakfast, right?" Despite the man being much taller than Ilya, along with the fact that he was a bit older, Ilya's motherly nature seemed to come out. "I don't want you to have not eaten enough and starve.. I can always whip you up if you are still hungry~" Ilya's own cooking skill attested for itself, as the food that she made always seemed amazing. With his question having been answered, Ilya now waited a few seconds before resuming her prior sentence that had been cut off by Zeus' entrance. "As I was saying, my plan~ Vina offered to grow the trees that we need, and Emmerath agreed to funds. Majolica, we should get that bake sale set up as soon as possible. Stokbon is the best location for it, and then as for the rest of us. I need to know everyone's skill sets, Masteries and Vocations. We need a team to grow trees and cut them down. I would prefer we all do things in groups of at least two. There should be a team to do the landscaping out front and out back. The other team we need is a team to take out all the stuff in the tavern and to take down the walls and such. Once these tasks can be completed, then I have a few more that we need to work on. This is just gathering the supplies and taking the building down. All of this is important, and this is my plan. So, who is up for which task? Obviously Majolica, you will be working on your bake sale. The things I have requested of you guys, are all things that are currently in our funding budget." Now, Ilya turned to face Zeus. "I presume this all is okay? I already have renovations set up for you to rest at an inn a few blocks down, it is in the sunnier side of town. That is.. If you sleep here, since we are fixing it up and you wouldn't have a place to stay..."
Emerath was more than a little relieved as @Vina Skysong came over to help him, mending the wood to make it sturdier. This did mean that Emerath had to work a little harder to push the screws into the wood with his screwdriver, but it had been worth it. As Emerath worked, he remembered what Vina had asked him earlier in the day, and Emerath explained to her that, "Aeromancy is a fun magic to use, at least for me as a martial artist. My favorite attack is lightning fists. It's a good shock to the system along with the hammering blows of fist attacks. I can also maneuver my opponents using the wind to bring them closer or create distance. Overall it's neat." It was nice to be able to talk to someone genuinely interested in his choice of Mastery, and he hoped he had been able to sell it to Vina, despite that she was already planning on taking the mastery later on. Also, he had remembered the compliment she gave him on his name, and he smiled with a pink hue on his face as he pushed the last screw into place. "I like your name too, Vina Skysong. A cute name for a cute girl," he admitted before standing up with a heavy sigh, rolling his shoulders and bending his back to pop it back into place from being hunched over working. He gave Vina a thumbs up after the work, and even gave the door a solid kick, only to find it still in place from the assault. "Thanks for the help. This should hold even against Zeus. I would test it with my own Heroic Might strength, but I really don't want to fix it again if I'm wrong..." he admitted with a chuckle, before focusing on the explanations of Ilya. He listened intently to her plans, his brow furrowed at the idea of pulling the entire building down and rebuilding it again. At least, that's what she seemed to be saying. Once she was done speaking, Emerath brought up his concerns by saying, "I'm sorry, and I want you to know I'm not against such hard work. But pulling down the building and rebuilding it seems like a little much. The building we have here is pretty serviceable, even if it is run down. And this place used to be the beating heart of the Lion's Pride at one point. We should start by simply renovating the existing building, and then we should actually plan expansions into some of the other abandoned buildings. We can make this the headquarters, and then the other buildings around us, since they are abandoned, can be bought and serviced into lodgings, training halls, shops, and the like. That seems a bit more realistic to me. How about to you guys?" Emerath also considered one last point, "Also if we rebuild the entire building, we'll need someone with the construction vocation. I don't have it. Hell, I don't even have the engineering vocation. I just have the Tinker mastery, so I make it work."
...Am I some kinda genius...? I was in the right place the whole time... wow GJ me! So these are my new allies, huh? As everything seemed to finally begin to click, Captain Cosma yawned. At about that time, the same or perhaps another door exploded... "Ahahaha~Wow~! What the heck?! It's like the Koolaid Man! Hahahhahaha~! Omg, our leader's the coolest!" Roaring with laughter, she ultimately quieted down by taking the time to wipe the tears from the corners of her eyes. And, when the meeting drew toward its tail-end and volunteers were asked to assign themselves to tasks, Captain Cosma put on her hat and spoke up. She was mostly addressing @Ilya, but she said it in a way that everyone could hear. "There we go~all dressed~hmhm~! Oh hey~it's GW~wazzup! So anyway, as you guys can see, I am an awesome pirate, so my specialty is hunting treasure. If anyone needs help finding things, then maybe I can help with that, Hao~Hao~" Indirectly hearing that she might be evicted from her comfy basement was a problem though. She'd really nested in and gotten comfy there... "Hey Super Gramps! (@Zeus) Would it be okay if I crash at your new temp place while this whole renovation thing blows over?" The good Captain held aloft a fancy limited edition bottle of Brinebay Bourbon while making a Zelda new item noise with a wink. "Let's hava drinkin contest and tell scary stories!" Running up to meet the man of deific stature, she called over her shoulder to @Emerath Katou "If ya want the place to look like'a boat I can arrange somethin~ahahaha~! I've got shipbuilding yeah?! Heck let's make it fly too~! Airship! Airship! HAO~! HAO~! HAO~!" Fully in her element, she sang that last part like a little tune.
Having people that treated her with the respect a Grand Witch deserved lifted Majolica's opinion of the dingy lion guild house/bar. First approaching the building, Majolica had her doubts about whether or not she should stay in a guild with a dirty falling down building, but now that she knew how much everyone in the guild loved her, the adorable little grand witch was gung-ho about making a name for herself in the guild. As @Vina Skysong showered Majolica with praise and compliments, Majolica's chest swelled with pride. Finally! Someone who gets it! Grand Witch's don't do small jobs, heal, or do anything they don't feel like doing! It was then that the burly, hulking mass of a guild leader entered the hall again destroying breaking the door. Majolica couldn't help but cackle. Slapping her knee, she turned and pointed at @Emerath Katou "PFFFT! HEHEHEHEEheheHEHEHE!" After letting out all of her giggles, Majolica turned to @Ilya and gave her a wink and a thumbs up. "Okay lion lady... hehehe, just make sure you can keep up with The Grand Witch as she defends her many adoring subjects with all of the great magical powers of a Grand Witch! Hehehe! Don't worry your fuzzy ears about the room either! Hehe, you won't even notice it!" Majolica prepared to ride out as Ilya seemed to be organizing jobs, but stopped as she heard Ilya mention wanting to know everyone's abilities. Always one to show off, Majolica quickly spoke up. "Ooooh! Me first! Me first with masterys... hehehe...! As The Grand Witch, I an expert at black magic! I'm also good at hydromancy, aeromancy, and..." Majolica grinned. "One over Festive! Times three!" Witch Clone As she finished casting, another Majolica blinked into existence besides the original. As the second Majolica stretched her arm, a third Majolica carefully climbed through the window. As the fourth Majolica entered and dusted herself off, there was a knock on the being door that was being worked on. "Hehehe, I wonder who that could be...?" Spoiler alert, it was also Majolica waiting patiently for the door to be opened. The indoor Majolicas all approached and stood next to the original, crossed their arms, and giggled. Then one of the clones spoke up, "As you can see, Majolica is a master of illusions!" Another Majolica continued on, "Hehehe, Grand Witch Majolica can be everywhere at once!" A last Majolica finished their explanation. "All of we Majolicas are top-tier level spell casters and are extremely capable in battle!" At this, all of the Majolicas laughed in unison, after which the clones melted into grey puddles. "And, I have a witch broom! Hehehe! See!" Majolica's broom floated in front of her. She grinned smugly at everyone in the room. "Look at what it can do!" "Broomstick Doomstick!" Broom Control The broom's bristles grew large and tangled together like tentacles. "Hehehe! Now watch!" The bristle-tentacles flew forward! And... mopped up the clone puddles." "Hehehe! Simultaneous mopping! But I'm not going to do that one again. Mopping and cleaning are not Grand Witch duties, hehe." With that Majolica hopped onto her broom and readied herself to go gather materials for her bake sale. "Hehehe, off to the bake sale then! Good luck with fixing the door again... pfft hehehe. I will see you all later!" Majolica turned to @Captain Cosma "Hehehe! I'll look forward to how you remake this dirty old bar into a super cool ship/guild/building/home/boat/house! Hehe, if you finish early you can come and help me sell delicious Majolica candy! I've already got a great business plan in mind... hehehe! Bye bye!" With that, Majolica got on her broom. The thought of bursting through the door again had crossed her mind because it would have been hilarious to watch Emerath get all angry and chase her with his lightning gloves, but one broken door was enough for today. Majolica pointed her broom towards the open window and rode out to begin preparations for her bake sale. [EXIT THREAD]
Vina considered the idea of someone having a private room, finding both benefits and downsides. All in all it really depended on what the Lions were supposed to act as. If the tavern was only a meeting place it would be strange for someone to have their own room here, but if their leader was expecting the Pride to often come together and make this place their official headquarters it would make sense for people to have lodgings, and since it was a tavern there should already be rooms with beds, even if they'd have to expand a lot if they were planning to help return the faction to its former glory. "If we're actually making this into our headquarters it wouldn't be so bad to arrange a room for everyone... Although it depends on how many resources we have. I personally wouldn't mind sharing a room or even a bed if necessary, but I can't speak for everyone on that account~" Vina's smile became a bit mischievous as her eyes glinted, accompanied by a flicker of her eyes towards the beautiful lioness which could just as easily have been imagined, before she returned her attention to the door that she had been mending, and @Emerath Katou who returned the favour of complimenting each other's names. The smile Emerath received had zero mischievous intent, instead being warm and cheerful. "Thank you~ I like my name a lot. And Aeromancy does sound like it's a lot of fun, although I'm not much of a fighter so I would probably focus on moving things around instead of shooting lightning." She indicated her figure, tall and slender but not necessarily strong or sturdy. "And while I don't mind some playful wrestling I don't have the build to be a frontline fighter either~" She watched as Emerath admired their combined handiwork, nodding with satisfaction as it looked like her ability to mend and strengthen the wood combined with Emerath's handiness had managed to at least make the door functional again. "No problem~ If we're all going to part of the Pride I should make sure to carry my weight, so helping repair our headquarters is the least I can do." She frowned slightly. "That said I'm still not that experienced with using nature magic, so if Zeus continues to manhandle it I can't guarantee that it won't break again." On the subject of how to rebuild the tavern so it would be suitable for use by a group of people Vina for the most part let the others talk, if only because she wasn't much of an architect or a planner. She'd try her best to help, but this wasn't her field of expertise so it would be better if she let others do most of the thinking and only give some input where it might help. The idea of breaking down the tavern (as suggested by @Ilya) made her frown though, as she opened her mouth to respond. "Aside from whether we have the skill to entirely rebuild this place, I can use my nature magic to mend any of the wood that is still in place." Of course doing a lot of mending would be taxing, but it was better than tearing it all down. "Wouldn't it be better to first just repair this place as best we can, and only once we've got more funds and fame think about making a new headquarters? Since this is a tavern as long as we fix it up well we'll have beds, a common room to gather in, and a place to store food in case that becomes necessary. A place where we can have lots of fun when we aren't saving the world~" The... sailor girl? Pirate captain? Vina wasn't entirely sure, but @Captain Cosma appeared to be the very upbeat and enthusiastic type, which immediately made the druidess fond of the woman. Anyone who could help brighten up the mood quickly made it into Vina's list of people she liked (although honestly that list was rather easy to get onto anyway). When Cosma suggested turning the place into an airship Vina wasn't sure whether she was being serious or not, but either way it made Vina smile and giggle a little. "Making our headquarters an airship would be very impressive, but I think we should start small and work our way up. But first of all we should listen to what our leader has to say, before we all end up making complex ideas when he might already have plans laid out." She indicated Zeus, bowing slightly towards him in a mild signal of deference. Honestly Vina wasn't the type to act very subservient, mostly because she preferred having more freedom, but Zeus was still the leader of the Lion's Pride, so having them all think of what to do while their leader might already know what he wanted them to do might complicate matters unnecessarily. As for Majolica... The druidess watched with great fascination as the great witch showed off her tricks, her eyes lighting up at the many illusions and the claim of possessing Aeromancy. She would have applauded the way that Majolica easily wove together several forms of magic to switch from illusions to turning her broom's branches into tentacles to clean up the floor, but before she had the opportunity the witch had already left, leaving Vina staring for a moment before turning back to their leader. "I'm sorry master @Zeus. Do you have any ideas for what we could do as recruits of the Lion's Pride?"
Soon the tavern was more alive than ever with the comical appearance of Zeus, the leader of Lions. Once again Corvella had to try not to burst due to the awkwardness that followed the entrance of the menacing-looking man. That poor door, Emerath looked so sad that he have to fix it in place again. Looks like getting a proper door would be the top priority for now. "Uh, I don't think that it's that early in the morning though." she jokingly muttered to Zeus. People then started throwing ideas from how they could help to rebuild the headquarters, to detailed things such as if there's going to be private rooms. Corvella doesn't mind any of the proposition, since anything could be done once they all get the funds to get the tavern fixed. The lively discussion and chatters between the lions made her slightly smile. Yes, this kind of things that reassured that she didn't join the wrong faction. There are many kind of people... but she'll get along. Just need to stop being shy. The cute little witch was very, uh, enthusiastic with her bake sale plan. Well, as long as it benefits the Lions. And as fast as she came, the little witch disappeared with her broom. Corvella tried to contribute into the discussion too, thinking about how she can help to fix the tavern. Anything besides bake sale, or physical construction. "I think I will pick up some quests around the town under the name of Lion's Pride later. That way we'll acquire some funds and recognition." She continued with a smile, one finger pointing to the tavern wall behind her "That one day many people might start to come here again to post their requests." She put down her empty cup back in the table and looked at the others "Ah! And also proper financial management. I heard things about the previous management, but I'm sure this time it'll be better." She waited before moving the discussion even further, Zeus might have something to say for them.
Seraphy had been at the meeting the whole time listening intently from her chair in the corner. She was even taking notes and nodding as the deliberation proceeded, doors exploded, and a greek god-named guy rampaged around. There was a witch too who seemed like a lotta trouble. Heck, even the character she used to be stormed on off into the sunset. What a show. All the while, Seraphy was incredibly easy to overlook in the ensuing madness that had occurred, and that's before even stopping to consider her meek personality. So, if you're wondering where she came from, there's zero need to worry. You'll probably remember her arriving 5th or so, when people stop paying attention to faces. You likely aren't shocked that she's there, but all the same, like the quiet kid in class, you might be wondering if she's going to offer any input. And now we return back to Seraphy, who is currently mulling over her insecurities... Can I really do this? These people seem super strong, and smart, and strong, and confident, and well... maybe a little bit crazy... She gulped. I have to try! As the meeting quieted a bit she took her opportunity. Shakily standing, (she was super nervous but her legs might have fallen asleep as well), she took a deep breath and declared: "Uhm! Ah! Well! Err! Hello everyone! I am Seraphy and I do not know why I am currently speaking so stiffly!" Coughing, the girl's face turned a tomato red. Even her pointy ears looked like chili peppers. "Sorry... Uhm... So anyway... I can... heal... and also uhm... I like cooking! If there's any cooking to be done, please let me do it! I promise I won't be a bother! Cleaning is okay too! Please do not throw me out!" Seraphy suddenly froze on the brink of a total meltdown and gave the room a thumbs up with a nervous laugh. Haaaaaaaaah now I've done it.... Everybody probably thinks I'm super weird... Popping back down into her seat like a rocket, she stared at her pink and purple boots while biting her lower lip and somewhat wanting to die.
