Private - Chickens All the Way Down

  1. Flints shook her head as Emerath denied his well earned pet but glanced up at the wolf carcass on Emerath’s back. She began to walk away from the farmer, Emerath along side her she couldn’t help but look away at what Emerath seemed proud of her for.

“Keep it, it’s all yours. I wouldn’t dare partake in it..it reminds me too much of..”
she choked a little on her words and shook her head. “K-keep it” she muttered before clearing her throat and trying her best not to focus on how much the man had opened up to her. He was sweeter than when they first met that was for sure, but Flints didn’t quite know if he was worth trusting, for all she knew they might never see each other again. But she took the leap of faith for the sake of friendship. Her heart skipped a little with excitement when she received the notification from “Emerath Katou” she took a deep breath and accepted it. They were now “friends” looking back up the the man she blushed. “I guess you’re my first friend here..congrats” she chuckled. “Let’s do something less dangerous next time okay?” with that Flints gestured to the world around them, showing him that if he hadn’t been paying attention they were already back to where they first met. Waving goodbye she giggled and walked off, going her separate way. “Until next time, Katou.” She purred happily. her head filled with thoughts of future adventures.

  2. Emerath couldn't help but catch the sudden sadness that seemed to overcome Flints after he had offered her a share of the earnings from the wolf pelt and parts. It reminded her of something. A wolf? Emerath always seemed to forget that others had real lives outside of this game, and perhaps she had a pet wolf? Emerath could see how that would be heart wrenching.

But everything turned on its head once she got the fried request, and much to Emerath's delight actually accepted it. "Well, that settles it. Now we have to go on more adventures!" Emerath chuckled, admitting that, "Yeah, something a little simpler next time would be nice. If you have any ideas, feel free to toss me a message. After you get more acquainted with the game maybe? There's this kingdom named Astorea. There's a lot of nice people there, and it's pretty much all player run. I'd love to introduce you to the place."

Emerath watched as she walked off after leading him back to where they had first met, and Emerath waved back to her with a smile, before turning to head to the nearest butcher. He had been a bit surprised that she had called him by his in game last name. Nobody ever even seemed to pay attention to that. He chuckled and said, "Until next time Kaeda," reversing things the same way she had, before finding him lost in town like he always was. Boy could he use someone who knew where they were going right about now...
