Tavern

  1. It seemed @Ueno Mizuki knew the way to the Drowned Mermaid so Comet pursed her lips and followed the Caenis in pursuit. Hopefully their endeavors would be met with success for whatever lay ahead. Clearly a planned out "mission" of sorts was in their future, or perhaps trickery to get them in trouble. Whatever happened the pink-haired woman knew she felt neutral towards the situations that Terrasphere presented her every so often. They weren't too difficult, perhaps a bit traumatizing, and overall gave good experiences to the newbie. "You've been to the Drowned Mermaid before?" she asked, curious, but remained quiet for the rest of their time scouting and pacing through the city's night.

The tavern hardly happened to be anything out of the ordinary. Loud people, loud noises, and an atmosphere free of tension. Therefore her observant nature quickly caught on to the door that stood out. She pointed in its direction, tapping her friend's shoulder to whisper, "Let's check it out, yeah?" her mind had little to no time to create an anxiety over the possibilities of what could lay behind the door. When inquired about a password, Comet glanced in Mizuki's direction as if a signal but spoke without warning anyways. "Astorea Night." her tone questionably confident, heart beating nervously, she kept emerald eyes on Mizuki in case her answer would somehow be wrong seeing as the Caenis could back her up.

  2. Mizuki kept a calm pace so she wouldn't make @Comet feel like they were rushing. The night wasn't that old that they would have to hasten to the Drowned Mermaid to make it before they'd have to go sleep. Although Mizuki didn't know what kind of sleeping schedule Comet had anyway. It was interesting how you could know one another well in Terrasphere without having a single clue about their life on Earth.

"I've walked past it before, but I've never actually gone in." She answered Comet's question, the Lupi remembering noticing the name of the tavern and idly asking herself if a mermaid could even drown before she returned to the business she had that day. She didn't think it had looked any different from any other tavern at the time, but then the easiest way to hide something was to pretend it was something completely normal. "We'll have to search for any hint to where the password has to be used, since I doubt they'd ask it at the entrance." This wasn't a modern city, and a tavern where people had to give a password to enter at all would draw too much attention.

Once they reached the tavern the wolf woman followed Comet in, looking around and trying to see if there was anything different from this tavern. It looked like your every day tavern, and since she had been right that they wouldn't be so blatant as to ask for the password at the front door... She looked around when Comet tapped her on the shoulder, then looked at the strange door that her pink-haired friend pointed out. "Good idea." She curtly responded, then followed Comet to the door. She nodded as the pink-haired woman spoke the password, then repeated it. "Indeed. An Astorea Night." She spoke relatively softly, not wanting to draw the attention of the mundane patrons but still speaking loud enough that if there was someone behind the door they should be able to hear it. She didn't know if one had to mix the password into a sentence or if it was preferred if the password was spoken without any other words, but she figured that if she and Comet arrived at the same time and one of them only spoke the password and the other made a short sentence with it they should be all right.

Although that left the question: where they supposed to come together or did the people who organized this expect everyone to arrive on their own?
