She really is quite strong, I'm pretty sure she could flatten a forest simply by moving forwards if she really wanted to. Alice is definitely not an opponent that I would want to face in battle if given the opportunity to avoid fighting her. She's scary when she actually gets moving, I'll tell you that for sure.

I don't mind if you switch or not, whatever you'd be more comfortable with. Just having somebody to practice against would be great, plus I can ask Lucia for help too and get experience fighting somebody that uses a different type of weapon to axes. It never hurts to be too prepared, does it?

I'm honestly not too sure what to think of Vivian. She seems dangerous, yet at the same time I've seen that she does have a softer side in there that she doesn't seem to show. Maybe that side is the side that she lets Lucia see? And occasionally lets slip to strangers like myself?

And I can understand that, as cheesy as it is, Lucia is one of the best things here. She's helping me with my confidence issues and helped me find the things I'm good at. She's a great teacher too. I only hope I'm a good student and training buddy for you.

 

Yeah, she’s fucking terrifying when she moves. I think Alice’s fear factor alone would make opponents not want to engage in battle with her. And if you can stop someone from attacking Lucia by mere looks alone, then the fight is won. No causalities. Sounds like a good day to me.

I don’t mind switching. It’ll give my shoulder muscles a break from wielding this heavy ass great axe all the time. The increased ability to move might also loosen me up, so it’ll be a great workout either way.

A softer side? LOL. You sure we’re talking about the same woman? Long purple hair, usually wears a witch hat, practices dark magic, never has a fucking positive thing to say to anyone? Nah, I doubt it. She’s dangerous though, much in the same way Lucia is dangerous, but I trust Lucia. I wouldn’t sit alone in the same room with Vivian if I didn’t have to.

Yeah, she is a great teacher. And I’m sure you will be! I’m always open to learning new things and helping other people so I think we’ll have a great training session together. Tbh, I’m excited for it!

 

Mmm yeah, ending a fight without anybody even having to get hurt is always a good thing! I can definitely respect wanting to make sure that nobody gets hurt or dies. Still, having the strength to back all of the talk up is really nice at the same time.

Sure, if switching works for you then I'm all down for it. I'll try not to cut you too badly with my wild swinging, though hopefully you'll be able to parry everything anyway. You'll probably destroy me the first few times, so please be gentle ;)

I'm really excited for it too. I promise I'll try to not slow you down too much, once I have the basics down. Maybe we could have a threeway with Sylvanas, if Lucia will let us? That would really get me good!

 

I fully intend on it. You don’t learn anything by being beaten into the ground your first go. You just feel bad about yourself and then you don’t wanna continue. No, I like the demonstrate and follow through method. So I’ll show you how, like, idk, a stance might work and how that chains in to maybe an overhand attack or something.

Obviously, it might be a little different for you since you’re using one weapon and I’m using two, plus your sword is longer than a hand axe so…but no big deal! We’ll figure it out!

I can’t imagine what it must be like to watch a person like…Vivian be with the person you have affection for. Maybe it’s just my…dislike of Vivian, but, eh. Speaking from the peanut gallery here, but I’d prefer to see Lucia with someone of your caliber rather than her. We haven’t even officially met yet, but I like you ten times more than I could ever like Vivian.

Haha, I wouldn’t mind Sylvanus assisting! Granted, she’d beat both our tails halfway to Sunday and back again, but she really is the master of her own craft and we’d learn the most from her certainly.

 

I'm glad that you know how to hold back. You sound like you'll be a really good teacher, even if you're going to be helping me with a skill that you don't have. Just you teaching me the basics could save my life multiple times. Each time it does, I'll owe you a favor!

Sorry, I'm joking of course, unless you think that's a fair trade. But goodness no! I don't have "that" sort of affection for Lucia! She's like a teacher to me! A beautiful, amazing, kind teacher who shows me a lot of things, even about myself, you know? Though I'm not sure where your immense dislike of Vivian has come from, I'm glad you like me at least.

Sylvanas sounds like she'd be fun to train against, so hopefully Lucia wouldn't mind letting us at her. Maybe together we'd actually stand a chance, once I'm better with the sword that is! Being destroyed sounds not fun!

In truth, I'm not exactly sure hot to teach you about Beast Taming, though I think I could manage to teach you how to do the empathy and understanding stuff. From that, it's a matter of just providing for a creature and making friends! I'm sure you'd pick it up without my help, so it honestly feels like I'm not providing much of a service haha...

 

I’m a person that can usually get along with pretty much anyone. It seems almost impossible for me to get along with Vivian. And we don’t have a long history, me and her, but the little history we do have isn’t filled with sunshine and rainbows. I’ll lay off her though. It’s not fun listening to someone rant and rave about their dislike of another person. I apologize about that.

No, you totally are providing a service. When I say I know absolutely nothing about animals, I really mean that, haha. I don’t even have an animal IRL. I know nothing, whatsoever, about being the next Snow White when it comes to furry forest creatures. Anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe we could even practice with your tiger. It might not work, but it’s a starting point at least? Better than nothing, eh?

Anyhow, I’ve probably kept you long enough. I need to sadly log out and make myself some food. I can hear my stomach grumbling from outside my VR headset. I’ll see you when errand starts. Hey, you’ll get a first hand look at my skills!

That's fair enough, though for the record I'm not exactly her best friend either. I'm not actually sure whether I'd call her my friend or not, she's fairly difficult to place in one single category if you ask me. It's not necessarily a bad thing though, at least things are never boring when she's around I guess? If I'm trying to be optimistic at least.

And I suppose if you really think I'd be providing a service, then I'm more than happy to teach you as much as I can. I can't guarantee practicing on Natiri would work, since she's already technically a tamed beast, though we could always try. And if not, there are always birds and squirrels to practice with! That's how I got some practice done!

Okay! Looking forward to meeting you and working with you, hopefully I won't slow you down and we make a good pair! After the errand, we should spend some time together, hang out and grab lunch or something! Uh, that is, if you want to?
