"It's nice to meet you t-t-too, a-also Natiri s-says hello as well..." She smiled softly, patting the tigress on the head for her manners, knowing that chuffing was just a form of greeting and communication for tigers. She absolutely loved that sound, it was so comforting to hear Natiri chuffing like that, though she was absolutely enamored with her partner if she was being honest.

With a smile and a small blush, Luna accepted Savannah's hand and let the woman pull her into the coach, Natiri hopping up after her as she took a seat, laying at her feet with a loud yawn.

And Savannah had a point, the weather really would suck. She took her own fur cloak and set it beneath her and Savannah, folding it a couple of times. "H-h-hopefully that s-should make the w-wood more bearable." She smiled, shimmying a little closer to her new partner and wordlessly commanding Natiri to curl up more at their feet, to keep room free and to keep their feet from freezing.

The journey that Ilya and Vina took was definitely chilly. The cold breeze that resulted in a full on snowstorm brought chills to Ilya's arms. The tail that wrapped around her waist definitely helped as she too, tried her best to share her own body heat with Vina. "Whether or not the others are inclined to, does not mean that you and I can't." Atop Ilya's shoulder was a small ball of pink. It appeared to look like slime, yet when one touched it, it would not seem to be sticky or wet. Instead it was just very flexible. The ball of slime seemed to be fine with the cold, in fact the smile that lit up its face in the cold air seemed to draw happiness to the air. The pet that Ilya had aquired and hatched on her own. Mikró was his name. He was small and adorable in Ilya's own eyes.

The arrival that the two girls shared seemed nothing like the arrival of a few others. Their own arrival not being as loud or boisterous. The familiar run down tavern entered Ilya's vision as her eyes befell onto the four ruined wagons to match. The snow was building up at the wheels and in the wagons themselves. With a sideways glance, she nudged at Vina. "Arrived just on time." The small smile that dotted her cheeks seemed to be shared by her pet. She continued to share her body heat with Vina as she nudged her in the direction of Zeus. Unwrapping herself from Vina, she went up to give her friend a hug after he seemed to shout about leaving in five minutes. "Hello Zeus, I seem to have arrived just on time."

As soon as Ilya and Zeus were to be done with their conversation, Ilya would have nudged Vina towards the nearest wagon. Wagon #4. And once on the wagon, Ilya would introduce herself and think of ways to fix the problem of no roof. "In case I haven't met all of you guys, I am Ilya." The Lion's Pride definitely seemed perfect for Ilya. Her lion tail and ears seemed to scream it out. "I bet we could fix the roof with Nature Magic, Vina.. Though my Hydromancy might work too. I can freeze things, and that means we can keep the heat in. I mean, the Eskimos did that, didn't they?" At this point in time, Ilya was now directing her speech towards her friend as she nudged closer to her for shared warmth.

"Tct" Roland growled as he clicked his tongue at the missing roof of his wagon. The blizzard had blasted it apart in one of the strongest storms he'd seen all year. Luckily the heating lamp had been bolted to the floorboard, otherwise, it would have gone with it. In fact, Roland was lucky to have all of the items he had brought with him still intact. The coats and the heating lamp would keep him warm enough to function for now, but it was only a matter of time before he ran out of fuel. He needed to come up with a plan relatively quickly.

Taking out what little gear he had, he managed to widdle down a few pieces of cutlery to form sewing needles, and began to take apart several coats at their seams. Not only did he need the thread to stitch them together, but by removing the central sutures, he could spread the form of the coat out more, making it cover a more considerable distance. An hour or so of working proved, however, that it would take at least two days to get the project done.

Roland took to camp, calling out to many of those he had traveled with before, and asking for help to complete the task. After some convincing (and promises of wine among other things), he was able to talk @Vina Skysong and @Magdalyn into helping recreate the structural integrity of the wagon, while @Comet and @Yukisa would help him sew the coats together. With his plan set, he took to work, prepping everything so that inexperienced hands could at least use the tools, and help give the wagon some protection.

Time passed, and naturally, Roland wouldn't work on just the cover. The initial issue still persisted after all. That being, the icy storms made the wagon covers brittle, and the massive winds were simply to much pressure for them to handle. If he had access to the lab within his manor, he could quickly produce a hardening agent to imbue into the fabric that made the covers, but the ingredients were rare and likely not local. So he set himself to hunting down what he could, asking @Yukisa question on what medical herbs he knew about.

After some studying, and long-range communications with those afar, Roland determined there were a few herbs in the area that would indeed provide a small defensive buff to garments. Sadly, it would require a liquid-based agent for dispersal so he was forced to use more than half of his wine collection to produce enough of the potion to cover each of the wagons. Whether it would help, he wasn't exactly sure, the buff would be dependent on the strength of the potion which was hard to calculate without the proper equipment, but it probably couldn't hurt right?

    Summary:
Day 1: Roland used tinker to break down a few objects into sewing equipment, letting himself, comet, and Yukisa begin to sew together a wagon cover replacement (using a large supply of oversize coats Roland had brought with him)

Day 2/3: Roland would work to create an alchemic agent that would react with clothing to instill upon it a temporary resistance buff.

As much as Emerath was dreading riding in a wagon with @Grand Witch Majolica, he was happy to see that @Kaëda Flints had made it on board for the ride with him. @Corvella had also been a pleasant surprise, and the more people joined, the less Emerath fretted the details on being roped into Majolica's little team. Either way, they would be in it for the long haul it seemed, and so Emerath buckled down.

As day one passed by, it became clear that this was not going to be a short trip, and Emerath had no idea how much time had actually passed. He continued to play his lute, sharpening his skills using the assist mode that the game provided him, often taking any requests from anyone in his wagon and attempting to play. The electric sound proved to be a good combatant to the wind and the squeaking of the wheels, and he hoped it would lighten spirits over the course of the journey.

As the day dragged on, it was clear that the cold wasn't going anywhere, and the chattering teeth of his wagon mates, along with his own, seemed to be combating his music, and not really adding much to it. So, he decided it might be best to work on taking care of the cold problem. Putting away his lute, the man got to work. He grabbed some lamps from the supplies, and using the vegetable oil he carried around with him, filled them up and lit them with his trusty flint and steel. He had about five lanterns in total, which he hung from the front of the wagon to the tail end, which should provide a bit of warmth and light in the cold for everyone.

Once finished, he sat down and grabbed a pot, creating an isolated fire inside of it, that he used to cook up some alchemical potions over. Looking around at everyone in the wagon, he decided to make one for each person. It was a mixture of peppers, alcohol, and some medicine to combat things such as a runny nose and fever. As each one was finished, he passed them around and urged each person to drink, explaining, "It's going to taste horrible. But it's medicine. If you still have some of Seraphy's drinks, make sure you have it handy to avoid a bad aftertaste. It should last us the next day or two."

He left the pot fire going for a bit more extra warmth, as he finished the last bottle of potion, and drank some himself. The effects were immediate, but it was disgusting. It took all of his willpower not to spit it back out again. He had rather begun to regret not taking a nice warm hot chocolate while he could. But to ease his mind, he just went back to his lute, strumming away as they rode along.

    Summary:
All Days: Emerath continues to play his lute to lighten the spirits and combat the squeaky wheels and harsh winds. He also hangs up lamps, getting them to work with his Tinkering skill. And finally, he creates a heating potion for each other member of the wagon he's in, while keeping an isolated fire going in a metal pot in the center of the wagon. He cooks more potions as necessary to keep everyone going.

He wasn’t that skinny, was he? No. Of course not. This was just Zeus being well… Zeus. Still, he knew the man only spoke with good intentions and brought up a valid point. If he was having a hard time now staying warm, it would be even worse once they were actually out on the road. With that in mind maybe a more thorough search of Pride’s HQ was in order. After dropping off another box Alric rushed back inside. There had to be something in here he could use.

As he combed each of the inn rooms he was ultimately able to gather a few items he thought would help protect against the cold. A couple of spare coats, blankets, bed sheets, and even a rug. Hopefully Zeus wouldn’t mind him borrowing these things. After all he did practically tell him to use them earlier, so once all doubts had been cleared Alric took his collection to the wagon he planned on boarding; plopping them down in the center before hopping in too to await departure.

As others began to pile in he would direct them to the pile from underneath one of the blankets he kept closely wrapped around his entire body. Maybe they had their own methods of fighting the weather, but he’d offer anyway as a gesture of good faith. The more people he was able to help survive the ride the better off they’d all be later on.

    ---

Three days of travelling through the winter wonderland. Three days of trying not to freeze to death in the back of a wagon. During that time he barely moved from his spot under the blanket except to steal glances at the other players every now and then should a conversation start. Or to get some of @Emerath Katou's concoction. Really, this wasn’t so bad though. Compared to the last wagon he was in he would take a peaceful ride through a blizzard over getting chased and nearly killed by an enormous flying alligator on any day.

Whenever the wagon stopped he’d look to make sure they hadn’t arrived, but each time would only end with disappointment as they were only breaks to take care of the horses. Outside and through the falling snow he could see corpses standing frozen in time like grotesque statues. But what disturbed him more was due to him being a user of spirit magic. Alric’s eyes were able to see them; the souls of dead bandits still lingering about the area… Almost inviting the players to join them as they watched the wagons ride away. The sight would likely stick with him for the remainder of the ride, but at least it meant their group had to be getting close.

    ---

By now he had drowned out the squeaky wheel and the snow had significantly let up too. Maybe things would be more in their favor from now on? Yeah, that had to be the case.

By the time the procession started moving, Des had already finished up with the horses and secured herself a comfy corner spot in the second wagon with other warm bodies all around. Sure, a three-day-journey north through a blizzard hadn't exactly been part of the plan, but it was better than getting snowed in on her own and getting stuck at the Lion's Pride tavern til the weather cycle reset. Hell, there was only so much a girl could find to do in your run-of-the-mill medieval tavern, especially when its usual occupants were all off on a mission.

So once she was safe and bundled up with a steaming cup of coffee under one of the extra horse blankets, the lurching rhythm of the wheels lulling her to sleep, Des logged out.

Go figure: that was a bad idea. Hell, she wasn't even gone that long-- she made some ramen, went next door to feed the neighbor's dogs, and read over a crumpled pamphlet from her work about "Surviving Canada's Deadly Winter" for the hell of it. Couldn't have been more than fifteen minutes, tops. Then she logged back in.

Shrieking winds, ice pelting her collar, snow flying so fast and hard around her that for a second she thought Terrasphere had glitched and she was just seeing a blank white screen. "Aw, crap." That seemed like an understatement. After a minute of mental scrambling, reality caught up with her. Oh, hell-- the wagon moved. Of course. Damn. She'd never traveled by any means of transport other than her own two feet before-- it hadn't even occurred to her that a vehicle might not count as a spawn location.

Standing there stupidly in the snow with a blanket on her head, Destiny realized she at least still had her coffee. It was still hot. Cradling it in her hands, she brought it to her mouth to drink.

...Then she remembered her pamphlet had said caffeine and alcohol actually lowered your body temperature faster, so she spit it out again.

Well, she might not have been completely on board with this Lion's Pride business, but right now was do or die. Literally. Adjusting to the brightness, her sharp eyes spied out faint divots in the snow-- wheel furrows and the hoofprints of horses. There were already several inches of snow masking them, but it was enough of a trail for her to follow.

By the time the party of wagons was in sight again, Destiny was exhausted. At least following in the packed-in tire tracks of the wagons made for an easier road than trying to struggle through fresh snow on her own, and the exertion had warmed her up in its own way. She broke into a jog, just managing to catch back up with the second wagon in the group and pulling herself in through the back hatch.

"Phew! Close one. Damn, that was a fool move on my part," she panted, collapsing on the floorboards. "Tried to sign out. Brr! Hell did all these holes in the roof come from? Christ, that's cold."

The Yladian wrapped her scarf tightly around her face, squinting against the wind. "Was hoping y'all had the pyromancer in here. Anyone got a knife? I got an extra blanket here we could cut up to patch the cover, that'd take care of this draft." She slung the rough-hewn blanket off her shoulders, brushing off the snow that had collected on the fabric.

Summary: Offered to cut up one of the big horse blankets to make patches for the holes in the cover!

Haru breathes, and puffs of air as white as his hair float through the wind, mixing with the snow whipping through the cart. He sits at the middle of a bench on one side, maintaining a rather graceful posture. He had barely arrived in time, and had chosen a random wagon to keep the rest of the group's pace up. He was almost regretting it, though. It was still freezing. Even the holes causing this cold provided no entertainment, as the view outside them was a bleak mix of white and grey. His face smiles, but only the kind of a smile that one makes when trying to ignore the weight of a sudden hardship. It seemed that the current place they were in proved to be rather bleak.
He was rather amused by the disappearing @Destiny Divebird 's reappearance into the cart, though. It seems that he wouldn't be logging out any time soon, then. At least, not until a stop was made. Haru felt sorry for her, though. That looked like a lot of snow.
His head turns to her again, now that she asks for help. His voice is apologetic as he strikes up a response, "I truly am sorry, miss. It seems that I might prove to be the burden of us. Here," He pulls a small stone blade from his robes. "I had taken the liberty to see if I could make simple tools in this world. It's been a pleasant surprise for me, too! I could also help patch the holes, if you wish. It's a relatively simple job. I'm not sure where they came from in the first place, though." He was waiting for this, honestly. The silence was pushing at him in a way just as lethal as the cold. He needed to talk.
At the very least, Haru is aware that he was a talker. And right now, his tongue and pair of hands were all he had to offer. He would keep his speech active and amusing, and get the others to talk as much as he could, should they want it. He keeps himself listening for any request for help, and offers such to who is in need. This was all he could do.
He found it supremely frustrating, and tries to never let it show.

Summary: Assisting everyone in the cart with any mundane means (Especially Destiny with the patching job, that seemed pretty important), and maintaining a constant conversation to keep spirits up.

With a resounding rallying cry and every individual ready to get shit done, Cain discard his cloak stylishly, unveiling the full extent to his suited nature. Already, the horses were taking off, the wagon wheels turning as the damaged canvas flapped in the cold wind, but the midnight haired muse repressed his instinctive desire to curl up in a variety of blankets. They were adventurers, and he was accustomed to hardship, both in the binary world of Terrasphere and the dull real world. They had a mission, a plan, one that would make the entire trip infinitely more comfortable than simply holing up like a bug in a rug.

Nodding once at Seigi, Cain breathed some life into his fingers before thrumming the strings of the lute, casting an electrifying, energetic song that contrasted heavily with the howling wind. As ‘SOIYA SOIYA SOIYA’ resounded brightly over the caravan, the smell of the ocean breeze and the sound of crashing waves pulled the red haired Sunset Sage into another world, overwhelming power flowing into her limbs. Within moments, she was hard at work, hauling snow into the wagon while the muse empowered her every movement. Behind, Cain could hear the other members of their party at work as well, forming the fortress of ice that would chase away the cold. They did understand, didn’t they, how igloos worked?

It was 2026, of course they did!

Picking optimism over realism, Cain continued to sing along as a couple new faces revealed themselves as well: a dude that looked like an overpowered support (but actually seemed to be equipped with only trash-level gear @Haru ), and another effeminate dude (or masculine gal @Destiny Divebird ) that looked like quite the edgy ninja. Well, the more the merrier, really! The Snow Fortress plan only became better with more hands available after all and, taking a breather from his singing, he waved at Destiny and Haru with a grin. “No need to worry ‘bout the holes,” the harmonics mage spoke, fingers still thrumming the strings, “We’re going full igloo mode here, and packing up the inner sides with snow and shit! Probably gonna need that blanket as a rug or something, mate! @Seigi , fill em in on your brilliant stratagem, why don’tcha?”

With enough hands working on Project Ice Coffin, the redecoration of the wagon accelerated dramatically. Though living space was reduced due to snow being pack in every which direction, close proximity lead to the perfect excuse for sidling up beside @Alphabet Chocolate 's fluffy dog. Combine furry fluff with a small fire over @Valdrada 's buckler and voila! The comfy, campy nature of this road trip became enormously excellent! Warming water over the fire, singing ballads of heroes and modern day campfire songs, it was truly the road trip experience of a lifetime.

And when the clouds finally broke on the third day, unveiling a gloriously blue sky and a brilliantly sparkling world all around?

It reminded Cain exactly of the original reason he had started playing Terrasphere. His shutter finger pressed against an imaginary camera. It wasn’t just righteousness and villainy that was worth witnessing in Terrasphere, huh?

“Think we can get away with a snowball fight before the actual fight?”

    Summary:
Cain buffs Seigi so she can shovel packed snow into the wagon. The rest of the party work to pack the bottom, sides, and top of the wagon up with snow, to function both as a way of sealing up the holes in the canvas, as well as potent insulation against the cold weather. Both entrance and exits are partially sealed off with snow in the same fashion, with Celestine regulating the amount of fresh air that comes in, while a small fire is lit within to generate warmth. Couple that with blankets and furry animals and hot drinks, and it should be fairly comfy~!

Condition: Freezing SEIGI'S GUSTO FLAMES CAN MELT THE NORTH PHOLE

"Thanks for that!" Seigi nodded to Val. She seemed even more hyper than before now as Zeus actually noticed her! Apparently, the hero-girl had to show even more GUTS.

Just about to drink part of her hot chocolate it was suddenly covered in snow thanks to the arrival of a-strange-talking-one. Another hero?! Well, the more the merrier. "Welcome to the Super Justice Club!" Seigi gave @Celestine an approving thumbs up as she shook her hand while also juggling the hot chocolate. Yeah, Seigi Ling Ling clearly showed her best side today!

As the wagons then, finally, started to get slowly moving it became apparent however just how underfunded Zeus was. The crimson-hair herself was always on fire, so it clearly wasn't a problem for her, but for the others? A hero was supposed to be a guiding light for everybody, after all!

Exchanging some messages with Cain&co only got the martial artist more excited. An igloo SNOW FORTRESS inside a wagon? G E N I U S.

"LET'S DO THIS! With Guts and Effort." Seigi didn't have any problems lending @Valdrada part of her own clothing if she didn't have all too much under her armor. Nonetheless, with Seigi's Seal of Approval and Cain's support, Seigi collected more and more snow - too much snow if not for someone stopping her in her tracks.

With that done, all that was left to do was sculpt things. Make it pretty and cozy and everything! And as stuff finally started to settle down, the hero-in-training had actually time to properly address the other new faces inside the Snow Fortress Wagon! ( @Haru @Destiny Divebird ) "Hero of Justice, Sunset Sage of Seven Strikes: Seigi Ling Ling, at your service!"

Summary: What Cain said because this post isn't small enough Build Snowfortknox inside the Wagon and use the power of SCIENCE(?) ESKIMOS to actually have it warm! Could also have moar clothing thanks to rugs&knifes and stuff.

_____While others seemed intent to work together Kaede was still worried to talk with others. The first break the group took Kaede moved Tsuki-Yumi into the wagon, the weather causing her to fear more for his safety despite his cries and whimpering when she moved out of the wagon to look over the wheels and wagon. While she was no veteran with how to fix the issue she herself had to use carts a lot recently to transport things from her home to towns where she could sell it for some gold. Seeing each issue Kaede sighed, this Zeus person should have asked to use Kaede’s hand pulled wagon wheels.

”If anyone has Artisan, Engineering, or construction experience I could use a hand with this. Outside that if anyone is willing to lend me something slightly sharp, wait never-mind I have my dagger.”

_____Kaede would try to lead anyone who offered to help her fix the issue with the wheels. Anyone she felt could have a steady hand she would work with to either trim the uneven parts of the wheels or fix spots that needed more with spare cloths. If she got some help Kaede would try to ask others to help lift the wagon while they took breaks so she could work under to fix the axle issues. Then there was the harder part of things, the weight inside the wagon. Going over her UI with a light sigh of relief to find some things to help with the other issue.

”If anyone has tailor or decent hand to eye coordination let’s double layer this cover and make some curtains. We can work on this while we ride, I don’t mind sewing them in from on top the wagon if you guys can connect enough of them.”

_____Kaede began emptying out some mixed pelts from animals she had hunted, while also a few fur coats she had made last time she went into town but never got around to sell them or giving them to people who could need them. Hopefully if everyone worked together, did not fight over the fur coats, and did a decent job the wagon would have most the issues handled. The leader, or rather person who tried to lead everyone had done her parts as best she could.

_____The wheels would be even, the axle would be able to support more weight and had less issues. The fur layer over the cloth of the wagon would help lower the effects of the cold weather and the curtain would assist keeping the cold air out. Tsuki-yumi would move to cuddle with anyone who was not lucky to get one of the few fur coats Kaede could spare to the group. Anyone who looked up could see Kaede’s imprinted area on the cover as she sat on the top, no coat for herself but happy she could help the others. One person weakened was better than a wagon full of them, any time the weight seemed to become an issue Kaede would move to try and fix it.

Summary: Kaede attempts to get the wagon to all assist in making the conditions better. During breaks to help the horses she would try to guide people to tend to the wheels or lift the wagon so she and maybe one other can fix the axel for the wheels. Offering some spare fur coats to people and un-worked fur pelts to have sewn together while traveling to later be made into curtains and cover the wagon's cloth layer. Using her own weight from atop the wagon to deal with any uneven weight the cart had as they traveled.

As other members of the Lions piled into her cart, Majolica smiled and waved. She was focused on buffeting the winds, so she didn't want to lose too much concentration as aeromancy was not currently her strongest suit.

After @Emerath set up his heating lanterns and handed out medicine, Majolica figured she could take a break. Turning and taking a load off, Majolica gave a stretch then faced the group.

"Okay, @Emerath @Seraphy @Corvella and the rest of you! Hehehe! Who wants to join Majolica's Witch Ops! Hehehe, this will be a trial run, and if you do good maybe you can be a permanent member! Anyone interested! Okay everyone's interested. Rule one is you have to protect the Lion Guild! Hehehe, after all, Witch Ops is a part of the guild! So it's our job to make sure nothing bad happens to the guild, and if something does... hehehe..."

    Majolica's face grew dark momentarily.

"... then we destroy the guild's enemies..."

    Perking back up, Majolica continued.

"Hehehe! So Witch Ops are the good guys that the bad guys fear! When someone hears that Witch Ops is hunting them, they should be scared! Hehehehe. We protect people, so anyone who hurts people is a target... hehe, but people who hurt the guild are top priority! No tactics are off limits except torture and harming innocent people! Hehehe, we're good guys, remember?! Kidnapping is okay as long as they people stole aren't harmed! Also, people should only be killed as a last resort! I turn people into frogs, so that's not a problem for me, Hehehe."

Majolica bounced happily as she continued.

"The second rule of being in Witch Ops is to pay attention and listen to Majolica since she's the boss, but you have to listen to Zeus to because he's the guild boss! Rule three is that all of our missions should be unexpected! Maybe we burst in through a wall, or show up sneakily behind the target, but all Witch Ops missions are impossible sounding missions! Hehehehe! Also, since Witch Ops is like Lion's Pride Commandos, we all have to have special skills and work to become really powerful! Hehehe, so powerful we could topple a whole nation if we wanted! Hehehehe!"

Majolica noticed that in the caravan there was one person she didn't recognize immediately.

    "Hey! You! Are you..."

Just as she spoke, Majolica caught a glimpse of @Alric Stalwart and remembered.

"Ohhh! You're the thief guy that wasn't a murderer but was acting super suspicious, hehe. Are you a Lion too? Hehehe, if so, you can be in Witch Ops! Hehehe, well try out for it I mean... hehe! Anyway, no one has to answer now so you can think of it. But if you try out and get accepted, hehehe, there's an initiation ritual! Don't worry though, it won't hurt, hehe."

Majolica let out a big sigh.

"Okay, now that I've introduced myself, everyone else should too! Hehehe, and we should all tell each other what we're good at! Hehehe, and since Emerath is taking a break from playing, I, Grand Witch Majolica will sing a song to cover up the squeaky wheel!"

    Majolica cleared her throat, then...

"Majolica is a witch and a witch is what she issss
This means ah-that and that means ah-thisissss
Frogs are fun, but not when they croak!
You better believe that THIS IS NOT A JOKE!
    Majo-li-ca Majo-li-ca Majo-li-ca ca ahhhh...
    Majo-li-ca Majo-li-ca Majo-li-ca ca ahhhh..."

Summary: The first rule of Witch Ops is you have to try out for Witch Ops. Majolica sings adorably to let Emerath's fingers rest from all the tasty guitar licks. Also buffeting the wind from the wagon.

Kijin scowled as the man handled him with telltale strength. Zeus was renown for his place among heroes and at the apex of the Pride, but a single admonition was more than enough for the Hunter. He wouldn't press the issue any further.

So, the entire ordeal was a charity case? Painted though it was to sound like a situation that worked to his benefit, the Swordsman knew better. He'd just have to see how things panned out.

Too late to walk away now, anyway.

The sentiment struck home just as Zeus gave them a five minute warning, the countdown to their departure. One woman started barking instructions, and since Kijin found himself begrudgingly amicable, he spoke up.

"I'll at least be able to hold fast for you," he told her as they went to see about the wagon wheel. "I'm no ace with needle and thread, though."

His survival skills would come in handy soon enough, given the impending winter conditions.

Summary: Looks like someone is going to repair the bum wheel, and came prepared. Brownie points with Kijin for the clairvoyance.

Meanwhile, since he has enhanced senses from Passive Skills granted by Hunting and Parry, Kijin offers his help to @Kaede Hoshi .

Zeus had promised her that the horses would stay warm enough, and naturally, she believed him. What reason did their fearless leader have to lie about something so insignificant? Or, seemingly so. To Magdalyn, the well-being of the groups' mounts was a top priority, and she had been nearly dragged away from tending to them when their journey finally began. So even though they all wore the magic-infused blankets, she constantly snuck glances their way.

Between peeks, she busied herself with fortifying their wagon. Or perhaps that word was too generous, for it gave the impression there was actually something to fortify. Rather, their wagon was no more than a slap of wood on wheels, and it would take a lot of work to make it travel-worthy. So Mags got to work, inspired by @Roland Rutledge 's plan, and motivated by the frigid cold.

Despite her proficient nature magic skills, growing and shaping the wooden beams took a lot out of her. Maybe the placebo effect was to blame, but she might have sworn the magic was zapping the energy, and the warmth, from her body. On more than one occasion, she had been forced to shove her hands under Dawon's warm, furry mass. The tigress had given a low, throaty growl of annoyance, but nothing more. It was likely even the tame understood their dire circumstances, and allowed all players to snuggle a little closer to her when the need arose.

When the beam was finally done, and the wagon's other occupants began to attach the new coat-canopy, the girl began on her bed of leaves. It was slow-going, each individual leaf unfurling like green smoke from the center of her palm. But after an hour of concentration, she had a small pile in front of her. "For insulation," she explained to @Comet, "and bedding." She hoped that the heat lamp would not set the leaves ablaze, but figured such a fear was not worth voicing.

Instead, she took a quick break from her magic, lifting both hands to rub at her face. Exhaustion ringed her golden eyes, black bags weighing them down. Given the frigid temperatures, howling wind, and overall chaos of the mission, Mags had slept very little the night before. "Signing up to help a faction we aren't even a part of." She gave Comet a wry smile. "Regretting our decision yet?"

Summary: Day one is spent helping to craft the wooden support beams for the wagon's canopy top. Day two and three are spent creating leaves, which are used as additional insulation and bedding. Dawon, the tiger tame, provides additional warmth.

"Totally," Alpha was completely thrilled at the prospect of a snow-ball fight (@Cain Darlite), especially since half of the participants would be her long-lost friends! Okay, maybe they weren't long-lost per se, but it was along the lines thereof. Either way, she was certainly pumped up by @Seigi's awesome inspirational words! Hero of Justice? Sunset Mage? Whatever that girl had been doing in Alphabet's absence must be nothing short of spectacular and, in spite of the loud ruckus caused by the gaping hole in the wagon, Alpha couldn't help but be thrilled at the prospect of listening to Seigi's adventurous stories. She took her dagger from her pouch, absentmindedly offering to @Destiny Divebird before she returned her attention back and forth between Seigi and Cain.

"Igloos! Beautiful! Yes! Perfect!" Alpha exclaimed, throwing her arm around Celestine. Ah, Cain could be quite an imaginative fellow, indeed! Although Alpha was hard-pressed to admit that his idea was a bit more resourceful and cooler than her own idea of just willing the cold away. "Oh yeah! I'm Alphabet Chocolate: the cool, the brave, the amazing! I fought off a Dark Lord of the Mystical Arts without a Nose, I defeated a dragon called Smaug the desolation, I am the last of the great race of the Time Lords of Gallifrey, and I've earned a girl scout badge in advanced knife fighting techniques, controlling plants with my mind, radiation immunity, and surviving in nature! Don't tell the Girl Scout Association, but I kinda stopped controlling plants with my mind a while back after I traded it off in a deal with the devil (his name is Lucy, played by Tom Ellis!) for my soul in return for some awesome powers I can use to make people think they aren't wearing pants!"

Alpha gave a grin and a bow. It was at this moment that she felt a tinge of regret at handing her precious dagger off to Destiny to use; she could've waved it around hazardously at the moment for dramatic, theatrical effect. Unfortunately, all she had was a deformed doll, so that was what she had used. It was an odd spectacle to see her wave around a faceless abomination like that, but it served its purpose. Alpha was certain that she looked approximately 100% cooler and 314% creepier afterwards. The creepy was a negligible consequence of her flaunting off how cool she was.

Finally finished with introductions (and after giving everyone on the wagon a brief pat on the back for a job well-done), she placed two fingers in her mouth and blew. At this moment, Alphabet Chocolate came to yet another life-changing revelation. She couldn't whistle in the cold. Considering the fact that whistling was as integral to Alphabet Chocolate's lifestyle as breathing, it is essential to mention that, after this entire ordeal, she would enroll in a month-long class dedicated to 'whistling properly in hazardous blizzard environments' but, as of now, all she could do was deflate and simply call "Hector!" with a disappointed gaze.

With a sigh, she gestured the hesitant and gruff wolf forward. "Okie dokie buddy, time for cuddling time," she said and, as she began to scoop up some snow according to Cain's instructions, she had a nice, warm patch of fur keeping her warm. Hector, despite his own embarrassment of being used as a blanket, couldn't help but feel a tinge of warmness in his tsundere heart.

Summary: Hands @Destiny Divebird a knife, helps make a batcave igloo, and forces Hector down for maximum cuddling!

Fortunately, @Magdalyn had been given the chance to join Roland's wagon as well. They could be together and perhaps that made bearing the cold weather easier in the long run. The view also served as a present of sorts. Passing the storm, one that revealed beauty once disappeared, had been worth the efforts of working through it in freezing temperatures. Not that Comet could escape low temperatures seeing as often her lithe body lacked proper warmth. Scooting close to her friend's lion - without much fear other than the animal moving elsewhere - had been an efficient method to remain warm, but the same could be done with Mags if she was willing: mainly at times when the wind picked up and chilled the poor souls to their bones. She made sure to greet @Ilya and @Vina Skysong with a smirk plastering itself onto her face firm from the intense weather. "You two seem close," she would pause for a moment before continuing. "Nice to catch you out here, Ilya. It's been a while. We should catch up sometime soon." a few words were said to establish a friendly atmosphere before Comet got to work.

Being quite the perfectionist, and as a woman of many skills, she took time on sewing the coats @Roland Rutledge provided to protect their wagon from further torment from the outside. Numbness ran throughout her body and turned graceful fingers into clumsy ones, but persistence pushed her to both impress the others and to get the task done as quickly as possible while maintaining quality of the makeshift creation. Eventually, with the help of another participant, the pieces of clothing were put together as one big cover. Her attention shifted to the others that occupied that Wagon once more and naturally fell on Magdalyn. "I'm impressed," Comet shook her head in approval before moving towards her friend to rest a comforting hand on the other woman's shoulder. "The action hasn't even started yet so I'll give it some time. Not like we can go back in this weather. Why don't you take a break and sit down? You look exhausted, and got a lot done for us." emerald eyes softened upon observing Magdalyn's state and tone of voice matched the worrisome expression well.

Summary: Comet takes up Roland's offer and helps sew coats together for the wagon.
