  1. "What is that player doing?"

Onyxia had not been listening to the odd murmurs her way as she looked at her hand, gripping it and loosening it for the last half hour. A ringlet of ice would appear around her suddenly, then disperse quickly away with flying shards of ice going in all directions. She would take careful steps along the grass as if she were tip toeing on a tightrope as a glistening streak of ice would follow behind and in front of her. She would stop, as if she were dead to the world and just look down at her feet contemplating this Hydromancy skill. She needed to understand it's full range and power before she could use it combat, or else it might end up being some awkward mess she was in.

The tall female continued working on her Hydromancy is the most peculiar of ways and when people laughed, they were greeted with ice that froze their souls to the bone and shudder. Even if she were just a mere nobody and a newbie player, the off distant gaze in her eyes just made them weak to look at her or even criticize once more. She gave a small huff, icey smoke expelling from the vents of her jacket as it crystallized around here before turning into a light snow. That was interesting, she didn't do she could do something like that. She took in a deep breath, and expelled ice dust she could through the vents of her white jacket, the exhaust came out thick and white as it sprinkled over her in a icy, crystallized state before tapering off into a snow like form.

She dusted off her shoulder with her gloved hands and folded her arms beneath her chest leaning on one foot. She had many skills available to her, but many were illusive or could only be used in combat. She rolled her green eyes, bored expression riddled her before she took a few steps towards some players and then decided it was probably best not to bother them. Maybe Saphira or Ruby were available to do something? Asking anyone else made her anxiety shoot up, as if it would even show on her face.

Onyxia took a hand on the hilt of her massive blade and tweaked the direction leaning more towards arm than shoulder for an easier grip. There was another thing she needed to contend with, how to use this massive two hander. Green eyes flickered for a moment, perhaps she could combine her Skills and make something unique. This game did allow as such so she thought. She would need to experiment on this, but combat was an issue. She'd have to drive herself into the forest and find some low level derpy monsters to fight. But doing it alone was suicide. She was at an impasse.

The woman's blank stare was driven directly for the horizon giving notice to other players as they walked by her asking her if she was ok. A slow nod of her head before the players walked off. @Saphira Fior

  2. Not all that far away from Onyxia, Saphira spawned into the world with a yawn and a stretch, her tail swishing from side to side lazily as her ears twitched, sighing softly when she reached up to scratch them with her nails. There was something just so satisfying about having her ears and tail scratched and stroked that she couldn't help but sigh and relax whenever anybody actually did do it, even if that person was Saphira herself. It was like having a set of automatic relax buttons that worked no matter who was scratching them, though she couldn't get distracted and fall asleep now, after all.

She sighed, before slowly bouncing from left to right, increasing in speed as she went until she felt awake, where she let herself relax some and fall into a series of strikes and maneuvers, ones that came far more easily to her thanks to the Martial Arts mastery that she'd taken up. It wasn't as if she had all that much practice with it yet, but getting some kata in as she woke up could only benefit her, as she moved through the motions slowly, yet deliberately. Each motion was focused on, aiming to be as perfect and as flawless as possible. What had that one guy said? Fear the guy that practices one punch a thousand times, yadda yadda, quality over quality?

After a few minutes, Saphira put an end to her kata and opened her menu, looking through the spells she could use. Astral Magic was something odd, that was for sure. It'd be strange trying to figure out how to harness that one, though Geomancy looked pretty cut and dry. Make earth walls, fire jagged rocks and all other sorts of fun stuff. Why did people overlook earth powers for shit like fire and lightning? There was basically unlimited earth to choose from and what better to attack an opponent with than literally the ground under their feet? Turning the battlefield into her own personal weapon would be so goddamn fun, it wasn't even going to be funny for whoever came up against her.

Geomancy spells looked ridiculously fun, though she'd actually have to test them out to see how good that they would be. And right now, her spells weren't packing a hell of a lot of oomph. A lot of utility, but less oomph than she'd have liked. She grinned, looking down at her hands before leaping to her feet, looking around at a dispersing crowd of people, spotting a familiar face in the crowd. Oh, so Onyxia was online, was she? And she was drawing attention to herself? This wouldn't do at all. She smirked, sprinting over to the dark skinned girl.

    "Ony! There you are babe!"
She stopped in front of the now taller woman, wrapping her arms around the dark skinned beauty's waist, burying her face in the woman's chest. "I was just lookin' for ya! Wanna go kill shit in the forests? Afterwards, dinner, then netflix and chill when we log out?" She smirked, pulling away with a smug grin plastered across her mug. "Not sure if Rubes is online tonight. Long training sesh or something, so you get to spend quality time with me!"

  3. Ony had been in mid preparation of a spell or a technique when she noticed the black lightning like blur streaking towards her. Stoic expression and all, Onyxia braced for impact from the lightning cat girl running towards her. It took a moment to notice who it was. The claws around her waist then the bounce of her chest as Saphira dove head first into her bosom. Onyxia sighed, and patted the girl on the head ruffling the hair and her ears in the process.

Killing 'shit' sounded like it would be enjoyable. Ony had been working herself into getting something like that done but just did not want to do it alone. But with Saphira along for the ride, the two girls could possibly handle the matters pretty well. Onyxia looked down at her bestie and shook her head, the golden ropes of hair coming undone from her shoulder as she did so. The woman graced her fingers over her hilt.

I would enjoy that. If we are to keep up with Ruby, we might have to do some adventuring ourselves. Let's go search for something to kill, Sapphy. Also, yeah, we can do the Netflix and chill later.

Onyxia voice was pleasant, smooth, it had that feminine touch despite her eyes giving off that desire to kill or ravage something. Her intimidating aura was only for those who decided to step in her way or wanted to put her in place. No one was going to do that here, not in this game and not even again. She was among friends and allies, she had the strength of an army behind her. That was enough.

Looking back down at her feline Bestie, Onyxia gave another shrug of her shoulders and started to lead the way into the forest. Her green eyes sat on the swishing tail of her friend and twitching ears.

So they were like separate limbs I am guessing? Does the Neko race have any certain abilities I should be aware of?

  4. "Guruguru~" Saphira couldn't help but let out the equivalent of a purr as Onyxia pet her on the head and ruffled her ears, nuzzling into the woman's hand in return without even thinking about what she was doing. The motion just came naturally to her, to push herself into the good feeling that started at her ears and started to make its way down her spine, tingling sensations spreading throughout her entire being. God, she actually really loved this new body of hers, it had so many different sensations and feelings that it was such a fresh and exciting feeling, going from Sapphire the woman to Saphira the catwoman.

"Haha, yes! Alright forest, here we come!" She grinned ferally, showing off slightly sharper teeth than usual as she inwardly celebrated the day she had planned with her sister in dark skin, even if she was a lot paler in this body. Still, the catgirl features and amazing senses more than made up for it, plus she was ever so slightly more flexible than she was in reality, though it was hard to chalk that down to being a Felis and not actually being a result of her having selected Martial Arts as a Mastery. But hey, why would she need a weapon if her own body and the world around her were going to be the strongest weapons out there?

As for whether the Felis had any other abilities, Saphira shrugged and thought for a moment, tail coming up to stroke her chin in place of the usual hand, mostly just to show off that she'd learned to move it properly by herself. That didn't stop it from moving automatically to showcase her emotions more clearly though. "Uhh, yeah they're like, a part of me. I can move them, kinda just like moving fingers or arms." She shrugged. It was hard to describe moving a body part verbally. It was just something that she....did. "And uh, I think I might be more flexible? And people seem to listen to me a little more."

She grinned, taking Onyxia's hand in her own and squeezing the woman's hand lightly, a teasing look in her eyes to be seen. "Oh, just in case you nearly get lost. I'm the one who actually learned to read maps properly and stuff." She'd spent a little bit of time researching the forest around here. It was pretty rad. "So remind me, you took Hydromancy, Slash and what else? Fire? Lightning and wind?" Her eyes lit up and she grinned. "Oooh, maybe you took plant stuff for the vines?"

  5. Through the golden hairs of her head it was hard to see the movements of her eyebrows that her expression was attempting to make as she looked at her Felis bestie. Onyxia took a hand to the hilt of the massive blade sheathed behind her back and thought for a moment before looking back down at her partner.

I think revealing my third mastery would be better left shown during combat.

Her words were like cie dust itself, smooth and crystal despite the jacket covering the lower part of her face, the strong melee warrior's voice was as clear cut as her savage weapon. Green eyes still on the Felis and she nodded to the woman about the map stuff. Onyxia could read maps just fine, and she was not one to get lost being a driver herself. But Saphira was the girl who took up the strategy role of the three girls, so she would be relying on her instincts to see them through.

Being a Felis though, Onyxia wondered, if the girl had any more extreme sensations as well? The new ligaments, the new sensations. Perhaps heightened aspects of the typical senses. She could probably hear something in a far off distance because of her ears, her eyes would be much more keen, her sense of smell equally heightened. Onyxia moved along the soft grass, her sandals making little noise as she squished the blades down with the weight of her body as they moved into the forested region.

Perhaps a two on one battle just so they can experience combat in the game might do them some good, but she turned her head ever so slightly. Emerald eyes gazing down at the small cat-girl as she placed her hand over the hilt of the blade.

Alright, Captain. How about you point us in the direction of something easy to kill. We can take it slow for now. I need to test more of these skills I have.

Like car exhaust, Onyxia Smoke, blew out a chilling wind through the vents of her jacket. Shards of crystallized flakes erupted over her head as they fluttered down around her giving her a very chilly aura. This was actually bliss, it was so hard to stay cool from the heat anywhere she went. Now she could use her own Hydromancy as a sort of personal AC unit. More importantly, she could possibly encase her foes in ice or even slow them down. And then their bodies were frozen, she would sweep her blade over their heads and destroy them.

As the girl's tail swished and whipped about, Onyxia eyes almost fell into a hypnotic state or trance. She had to blink several times and her hand reached out to grab the thing from making her space out and giving it a mild tug.

Can't you calm your tail down, Saphy?

  6. "Fair enough, you have a point I guess." Yeah, seeing her third mastery in battle for the first time would be pretty cool, considering that as far as she could remember, Onyxia had built herself as a sort of unstoppable whirlwind of death. Or rather, tidal wave and blizzard, since she didn't think the woman had taken up aeromancy as her third mastery. It wouldn't blend all that well with what she had, or maybe it would? It was difficult to see without actually testing something in battle, though she was glad that they were about to get an attempt to do just that, assuming that they actually managed to find anything out in the forest on their little outing together. There was no guarantee that they'd find something to kill after all.

She grinned, eyes darting around and ears twitching, the sensation of hearing the blades of grass crushed beneath their feet and seeing them so clearly was more than a little overwhelming when she'd first logged in, though now it was nothing short of simply awe inspiring. These Felis senses that she now had, they were absolutely incredible to wield and perceive the world through. It was like there had been entirely new parts of reality that she couldn't experience in reality because her senses weren't sharp enough.

She grinned, turning to look at Onyxia with a small wink, tongue poking out of her lips slightly. "Right, just leave things to me." She swiped a palm to open her map, looking at it for a minute before smirking and closing it, pointing her finger off at the distant treeline ahead of them, slightly to the right. "Over that way. I think it's a large slime or something. Big and brown-ish black, so either a slime or a bear."

Hopefully it was a bear. No offense to the local slimes or anything, but they offered much less of a fight that bears could manage to give them. Slimes were dangerous if they actually managed to hit you, though actually hitting you was an entirely different matter. They were slow and unwieldy, easy to avoid if you weren't dazed or just not paying any sort of attention to the fight happening.

She smiled, taking a step forwards to lead the way before she froze, blushing madly as Onyxia's hand grasped at her tail, which went ramrod straight as a result. "Ony! Don't tug my tail! It's sensitive." She pouted, fixating the woman with a fanged grin. "You'd better stroke it to say sorry!"

  7. Onyxia sighed stroking the tail with her gloved hand to appease the cat-girl. The female was never one to have any kind of pet, so having Saphira around who was more or less the Neko Girl of the group, it kinda felt like having a pet around. When she had pointed in the direction of the next tree line, the warrior female squinted her eyes to see what she was pointing out. She didn't see anything, but since she had Felis blood running through her, she had the eyes that could see great distances.

With a shake of her head, Onyxia felt somewhat elated, excited, though her eyes showed the same stoic, imposing expression. With her sandals smoothing down the grass, and the massive blade sheathed on her back, the woman went for where the finger pointed and she would then take lead of the group.

Walking slowly towards the creature, it was revealed to be a Dire Bear. It was indeed massive, black fur crossing over its body, it's eyes were like ruby gems with massive paws easily enough for shredding anyone who dared to get in its way. The elated feeling continued when she was only feet away, if Saphira was telling her something, her mind blocked everything out. It was time to fight.

Getting up on its hind legs to stand, the massive beast created a shadow over the tall woman. Her emerald gaze remained fixed on the creature, and a loud slobbering rawr echoed out towards her. Still she remained expressionless through her jacket. She tightened the hand on the hilt of her blade, the wraps slowly coming undone as the bear's massive paw came down with a wild strike. Shifting her leg and sliding it forward, she blocked the blow with her forearm, but not before having pushed slightly back. A deep blue aura circled around her arm as she grunted slightly and swung the massive blade with one hand attempting to slash the open arm of the Dire Creature.

Steel blade met fur and bone as the blade swept with a frosty slash, ice dust scattered about as exhaust from the vents of her jacket as she turned into the bear keeping its paw up. With a low grunt, and a battle cry, she swung her body around, both hands this time on the hilt of the sword. Adding extra power and momentum to the blade, she was able to do a massive amount of damage to the Dire Bear as it was pushed back from the blow.

The Dire Beast cursed her with a roar of its own, attempting to intimidate the woman. But her green stoic gaze never changed, she had remained cool and calm through the entire attack. But she noticed the weight of the weapon got heavier as she deactivated her Heroic Might passive skill. She turned her body, holding the sword in both hands.

I have it staggered, Saphira. Let's see what you can do.

  8. "Ahhhh, wow yeah that's much better! Just like that Ony~" She couldn't help but let slip a sultry sounding moan as her quiet friend stroked her tail as an apology, ears twitching and flicking with how good she felt. It was a strange kind of bliss to have her extra appendages played with or stroked, something that she'd never be able to really feel in the real world, so she wanted to make the most of it whilst she could. Being able to say that she knew what it was like to have a tail stroked or her ears scratched was honestly a pretty cool thing to be able to brag about.

She smiled, following Onyxia as the woman led the way towards their joint destination, finding a dire bear there instead of the slime that she'd expected from the distance, though with how its jet black fur shimmered it was hopefully understandable as to why she'd ended up making that assumption at first. At least, she hoped that Onyxia wouldn't hold it against her, even as she stepped back to observe Onyxia fight the creature. It was large and Onyxia's sword looked way too heavy to be swung properly by somebody of the woman's size, so how was her quiet bestie going to be able to fight with it?

"Alright Onyxia, let's do this!" She grinned, before watching with wide eyes as Onyxia ignored her and moved straight towards the bear, standing unflinchingly in the face of the creature's roar and actually blocking a blow from the bear with her arm, even if it had caused her to move backwards slightly from the force. Saphira watched with mouth agape as Onyxia then proceeded to swing that large sword of hers with one hand, cleaving into the bear's arm.

Then she suddenly fell back, gripping her blade with both hands, looking to Saphira to get her to jump in. Saphira frowned, endeavoring to ask about that little lack of attention later. Instead, she settled into a loose ready stance, before clenching both fists and suddenly thrusting them into the air, splaying her fingers out explosively. As she did this, jagged shards of rock burst from the ground, piercing the bear's hind legs and hopefully slowing it down, though it roared in defiance and started a charge for them again.

Saphira growled, about to jump out of the way, before a blue light suddenly consumed her vision and faded away, the world tinted in blue as she watched herself, from a sort of out of body experience, be gored on the claws of the bear after dodging to the left only to have her foot be caught on the uneven ground, turning to Onyxia to see the woman's horrified eyes.

Then the blue tint faded and, unknown to Saphira, her eyes had flashed bright blue, the bear still charging at the pair. She gasped, raising her hands as the earth beneath her feet raised up, letting her hop off of it and over the bear, landing safely as she looked at the spot where she would have died. "A vision? What the fuck?" She swallowed, before a feral grin split her face, shards of rock floating around her as she settled into a very offensive looking martial arts stance, palms open. "Lets crush this thing Ony!"

  9. The Dire Beast gave chase, even with a wounded ligament, its furry and its charge were something not to scoff at. Onyxia resealed her weapon, as if the binding ruins upon the cloth of the sheath knew just what to do by itself. Her eyes glanced back as she saw the monstrosity charging for them. With quick wit of her partner, she was able to dive away from the carnage unleashed. Onyxia held her breath went she felt the sweep of a claw strike her from behind.

In moments of the attack, her body seemed to just splash in a pool of water causing great concern to the beast who had thought its strike was a fatal blow. However the real Onyxia was not seen until moments later. With an ice crafted ramp, Onyxia's sandals slid down the curve with her hands holding the hilt of the blade aiming to thrust it towards the boar.

The point of the blade connected with the Dire Bear, she triggered several movements of her blade. Long sweeps of the massive sword cut through the Dire Beast, juggling it in mid air as it was unable to get out of her volley of attacks.

    Saphira! Heads up!

She created a vortex of water that spun towards the airborne beast, the creature's fur growling into the air as it attempted to claw its way to safety. But the vortex of water was screaming through the air as it snatched it up and tossed it towards Saphira. Hopefully the woman had enough strength to beat the monster into oblivion. However, this would be a great combination attack for use later. Their teamwork was just as important as their individual attacks.

  10. It was almost with a sense of panic that she watched the bear land an attack against Onyxia, watching the woman vanish beneath the surface of a body of water. Saphira growled, about to cry out or scream for the woman to be okay, anything really. Some sort of sign, a way for Onyxia to prove that she was okay. And for once, the woman delivered perfectly, sliding out of the water on a ramp of ice and spearing the bear.

From there, the woman slashed and landed multiple clean hits on the bear, carving bloody wound after bloody wound into its hide, drawing fresh splashes of blood to the surface and painting the grass beneath them red. Saphira grinned, inwardly sighing in relief as she watched her friend carve the bear to shreds, before launching it at her to finish off in some manner. So this was going to be a team attack, was it? Sure, she could probably make that work.

She spread her legs, crouching low as her body coiled up, hundreds of thousands of tiny jagged stones ripping free of the dirt and spiraling around her right palm, like a blender or individual stone razors. As the bear inched closer and closer, she slowed her breathing, before that same blue light shocked her again, the world fading into that blue tint as she watched herself slam her attack into the bear, tearing one of its arms clean off, though the bear got back up and roared defiantly, just before the vision ended.

She frowned, adjusting herself slightly, before springing into action, slamming her open palm into the torso of the bear and launching it back across the clearing, where it slammed into a tree and found itself assaulted by thousands of jagged stone bullets, tearing at its hide and embedding themselves into its flesh, tiny particles of stone and sand making their way inside of the creature.

Saphira grinned, stepping forwards and standing next to Onyxia's side when the woman landed, before she threw her arms up in the air. At once, the jagged stones within the bear flew straight up into the air, tearing free of the bear's flesh and rending it, the last few breaths of life leaving it. She couldn't help but feel slightly had, it'd only been a larger than usual bear. "Well, looks like it's dead." She grinned, wrapping her tail around Onyxia's waist and using the tip to poke her chest. "Nice fighting there! You got to show off more than I did!"

  11. The warmth of the tail skittered around her wait till she felt the end of it poke her modest chest. Onyxia looked down as the end of the tail almost felt like it was attempting to get in between her breasts. With that distant and lost look in her eyes, Onyxia's vision fell to the Felis.

There is still much I do not understand about what techniques I can use. There is a basic principle to it, than there is a feeling of gut instinct as if the Mastery helps guide you to what you want it to do.

It was hard to explain the feeling of what occured when she was attacking the beast. There was the overwhelming sense of cool control about her, maybe it was the Hydromancy working through her body, or maybe it was just her relaxed nature. She looked down at her wounded arm and shrugged off the pain. She had set herself to realistic to pain at the lowest setting of one, just to get comfortable with it. Eventually she would keep it on the max of ten, because pain drove her life. She always found comfort in pain, she was born in it. Molded by it.

The frosty glance of her eyes turned to Saphira and she used the back of her wounded handed to deliver a quick smack of the golden locks of hair off her shoulder. With a hand reach down towards the woman's back, she sent a frigid aura of ice to encase her fingers as she touched the woman.

There was a few times when I thought you were done for. I am glad you are ok, but how did you get away with such precision? It's like you almost...knew what was going to happen.

As an adrenaline junkie like Sapphire in the real world, the woman was driven by gut instincts much like her own. She was a freak when it came to high volumes of rushing energy that there was a calm in that storm that gave her such clarity. That was a powerful ability to have and it would be very helpful when it came to coordinating team attacks. But she still did not know the means of that precision work. She eyed the woman again with that frosty gaze, the air around her was still so very chilling. She spoke once more to her best friend.

    Let's find something bigger.

  12. Saphira grinned, shaking her head as Onyxia responded to her compliment with modesty, nudging the woman with her elbow affectionately. "Don't be so modest darling! You kicked ass out there, your sword is absolutely amazing. Nice to see your boobs aren't the only big thing here!" She grinned teasingly, her tail sliding between the woman's breasts for a moment before whipping away, slashing through the air behind her before sticking up on its own, telegraphing her happy and playful mood.

Suddenly she yelped, Onyxia's ice cold fingers across her back sending a chill across her entire body, turning to flash a mock glare at the woman, before a smug grin replaced it as she listened to Onyxia compliment her. "Aww Ony, you know just what to say! But yeah, I'm a little shocked at it too, but I've been getting visions. Forecasts." She hummed, a finger on her chin as she thought back to her mastery choices. "Oh right, I did choose Astral Magic! Maybe that has something to do with it!"

Though it certainly wasn't a stretch to believe that she ended up getting moments of pure clarity in the middle of a hectic situation, she sure as heck did get that sort of thing. "It's so cool! Everything flashes blue and suddenly I can see what happens in the future, like an out of body experience!" She wished she could grant that sort of power, though being able to use it at will would have been even cooler. She'd have to work on managing to do that.

And the idea of finding something bigger was super fun, Saphira couldn't help but grin and holler, rolling her hips as she thrust her fist into the air. "I'm so down for that! I knew there were more reasons why I love ya' like a sister Ony!"

  13. Onyxia nodded sharply at her sister. It was nice to have that bond between them, although there was times when that bond went a little deeper than sisterhood. That time in the bathroom at her place, it was just a big misunderstanding, but in the dim light there was a soft warm kiss shared between the two. The kissing turned into more experimental things that night, but it was nothing too heavy. But it sent a tingly feeling through her veins.

With that stoic gaze that turned somewhat expressional for a moment when she gestured for Saphira to follow. Her ability to see a possible glimpse in the future was a very important factor now in strategy, with such reckless abandonment like Ruby in the charge of things, that useful Forecast will come in handy for all types of situations. But she said she could not control it, just came and went. They would have to work on that in order to master her Forecasting.

As Onyxia drew steps in the forest, she channeled her magical Hydromancy energy into her feet sending off a cool wave of mystical ice dust as she moved through the forest. She had an idea on what to do next should she find something to kill with her sister. The tall, dark skinned female rose to the challenge to find something bigger to fight. Anything that could survive a round or two would be efficient in this matter. They needed to test their abilities on something mobile, quick and had a lot of health. Onyxia slipped a hand over her head, something called Investigation Mode popped up as she only intended to rub her eye, but the world flashed in something odd.

She stopped and allowed it to run its course, but it seemed to be using her energy pool while active. She cursed lightly to herself before shaking her head, and redoing the hand movements that activated it. Like a switch, it had been turned off, but she had spot something in the distance with a beast marking. She followed suit while she got her barangs again and made for the location. As she pushed back foliage and falling tree vines, Onyxia caught the glimpse of a slow moving creature.

It was a slime! The jacket masked her expression as she smiled within the confines of the tight clothing. She lifted a hand over her head towards the sheathed massive blade and allowed her fingers to curl over the hilt. The ruins of the sheath cloth came undone as her expression changed once more. The dull, and cruel look of merciless action riveting through her veins as her fingers coiled tighter around the hilt until it was free. With a quick step forward, the Slime didn't seem to comprehend what was going on until it was too late.

The sword went through it, the bulk of the creature split it half. Onyxia's battle cry was more like a grunt as swung her heavy blade down to cut it asunder. That was rather anticlimactic as she watched it squirm for a moment.

    Did I kill it?

Her voice was low as she watched with interest as the Slime multiplied in front of her. Where there once was one, now there was two. Her golden brows furrowed and she swept her blade once more over the non threatening Slimes. When the dust settled from her attack, where there was two...now there was four.

  14. Saphira was content to let Onyxia do whatever it was that she was doing, the woman seemed to keep reacting to whatever it was that was happening in her vision. Was she finding hidden prompts or something along those lines? Maybe there were tutorial messages that Saphira had somehow disabled along her journey? She honestly wasn't sure, but it was funny seeing the woman who was usually as cold as ice suddenly react with interest and intrigue at something that she couldn't even see, as if the woman were acting for a camera and they would be using CGI to add something into the shot later.

She followed Onyxia towards whatever it was that her best friend had spotted, watching the woman stalk whatever it was that she'd found almost as if she were hunting some sort of pray, leaning out from behind Onyxia to spot a slime. Really? A slime was a pretty boring enemy, there was almost no way it was going to give them the sort of fight that they wanted to take part in.

She watched as Onyxia suddenly surged forward, splitting the slime in two with a strike so sudden that it hadn't had time to even realize that it had been killed. Saphira gave a polite clap, hoping that the next thing they found would actually be able to put up a little bit more of a fight, before she noticed Onyxia swing again, watching in amazement as the slime had been split into four functioning bodies.

Thinking quickly, she pressed an open palm against the ground as dirt rose to cover Onyxia's feet, dragging her back towards Saphira, who watched the slimes venomously, the earth uncoiling when Onyxia was back by her side. "They multiply whenever you split them, Ony." She glared at the slimes as the creatures approached, clenching her fists. "Be careful! Try freezing them in place!"

She hopped forwards, swinging her fingernails at one of the slimes and splitting it in two, creating a fifth slime in her attempt to kill it. "Fuck!" She growled, punching both of the slimes away from her as she ducked one that leapt at her, spinning to kick it and growling as it split around her foot. That made six. "Damn it!"

  15. Oh this wasn't going well for the two women. Onyxia watched with a wild gaze that any sort of physical attack that made a split in their bodies, would then make a new slime altogether. There was good thinking in her friend's advice though, they were Slimes. Gelatin creatures with a soft body, if she could freeze it to the core and then break it, they could reduce the numbers that way.

Onyxia nodded to Saphira, her gaze upon the several slimes that were now reacting to them in a more aggressive manner. Her eyes narrowed and she gripped the hilt of her massive blade as she turned her attention to one of the slimes. She stuck out her palm and concentrated as much as she could. The gelatin shell of the slime slowly started to move slowly towards her, ice particles danced around it as it inched towards her. Frost and glaze began to solidify over the body as she poured more of her frosty magic into the creature until it became as hard as stone.

Finally she had achieved her mission. WIth her massive blade swinging in both her hands, a radiant blue aura encompassed the blade and her hands as she came down with an earth shattering blow that decimated the Slime into many pieces.

    Shatter...

The simple words after the kill had caused the ice to turn into dust. While that attack might have been successful, they were still new players and their energy pools were not gonna last forever. They had to think of a plan before they would be severely outnumbered. With her massive weapon lumbered over her shoulder, the cold icy gaze moved towards Saphira.

We have a problem. My energy won't last forever. We need a way to end this more quickly before they start to multiply on their own.

Her voice was cool and calm while she watched as the gelatin species react to her words. Onyxia dodged a spiked blow from one of them as it attacked, but the others grouped around and surrounded her. Feeling the the sharpness of the spike cutting her belly from different angles. She winced lightly and swung her blade not to kill but to intimidate and blast them away with the momentum. Her green eyes moved along the surface of the forest. Where was the original?
