The King cast a gaze down at @Madison Freebird and mulled over her questions for a brief moment before he reply.

I can give you a small team to assist with whatever task you decide upon. Though the blizzard here won't let up easily, it would be best to encounter Zeus inside the fortress, I spent time and resource preparing for his arrival so it will not be easy for him to get to me.
Then, he shifted his attention onto @Lucia Mierz and answered her queries.

I do not know what the Aristocracy bastards have in mind, but I am certain that they do not care for my donation nor status, and as such sent such novice here. The more probably case is because the majority of Zeus' little band is made up of your kind it would not be smart to send the better agents if they aren't adventurers, considering it's easy to you apart from one another.
Finally turning his attention onto @Aalam Abungu, the Erasmus quickly looked at the alchemist and gestured him to fulfill Aalam's request for a map. The man reached into his pouch and pulled out a rough, hand-made map of the fortress before handing it over to Aalam.
Map
You can barely make out the drawings on the parchment, but you noticed that there is a secret passage beneath the fortress, which was close to a whole underground area that has been shaded out. This map implies that it was built on top of some kind of ancient site.
The main chamber at the entrance into the fortress seemed to detail a trapdoor that leads to the underground area, which is connected to the series of secret passages you saw.

If you can't tell, the trapdoor will separate Zeus from the rest of his party. From what I am hearing from everyone here, I recommend either using the secret tunnel to meet up with him when we manage to separate him and maybe try to blend into his group or whatever else.
I must, however, warn you that the tunnel is extremely dangerous. We don't have control over it so you may have to fight monsters to get through. Should you chose this option, however, you must set out as soon as possible, so I recommend resting now for a few hours before heading out.
The other option is to pretend to be our prisoner and join with the lions and assassinate Zeus from there, though combat is less necessary, it will be dangerous if your intention is discovered.
After the alchemist finished speaking, the Bandit King cast a cold gaze on @Lucia Mierz, displeased with her incessant query about the job.

So I see how little the Aristocracy care about this job considering they are sending agents who question the client's intention. Did you forget that Zeus sent me an open war declaration? If you were a ruler of a land and your forces are away fighting another war, would you not pull connection to protect yourself from a domestic threat?
This will be the last time I contract the Aristocracy, pompous piece of shit, they are. If you are not here to fulfill the client's request then get the fuck out of my fortress!!!
Erasmus was red in the face, his expression contorted exaggeratedly from the anger that had risen all the way up to his wrinkly face as he threw a half-drunken cup at the bickering adventurers in front of him.
Seeing Erasmus display of anger, the alchemist quickly came to the group and ushered them out of the throne room.

Please excuse his majesty's harsh words, but I do believe you are under contract with the Aristocracy to fulfill a job considering the fact that you came all the way here, did you not? Our forces are currency being pressured in the east by the Falderen new Queen right now so we had to rely on the Aristocracy to fill an order.
I mean, we did pay a good amount of gold for this yet we are getting what appears to be amateurs... I mean, sorry, I did not mean to offend. But, you can see why his majesty is frustrated. The urgency of the matter and the on-going blizzard does not help either.
So, what will you do?
Look, since it is a rushed job, I don't have enough information on Zeus and his party either, but you guys should, considering most of your kind have joined his faction. In fact, I don't even know how much of the poison Zeus need to consume either, but just to be sure, I would finish the job while he's incapacitated by the toxin.
You have 1 reply this cycle. You must vote on one of the options below at the end of your post.
