Having survived everything until now and with his condition worn off Alric was feeling a bit tired as the group cleared the crown puzzle. Some of them weren't that fortunate and ending up succumbing to… Whatever the hell that was back there, but the ones who remained seemed to still have enough willpower to push forward. In any case, the new room was a lot less exciting and would give them ample time to at least catch their breath.

    ---

After soaking his arm in the pool his wounds slowly began to close. From this point on he vowed to try and be more useful if only for the sake of keeping more people alive than dead. The bandit king would have to pay for what has transpired here.

Temperance remained at her perch outside of the pool of water, too lazy to strip off her clothes for a soak... too paranoid about this place to trust that a healing spring couldn't also sap you of your strength at a moment's notice. Too aware that taking off your gear for the luxury of a bath meant you would be naked and vulnerable as soon as something came hungry and ancient from a dark passage below the earth. Or maybe she just didn't want to get in the water? Who could say.

She healed her wounds with her own white magic, then rested lazily away from the pool and its patrons from atop her perch, watching her energy slowly restore. Almost to full, even! How nice that'd be, for whatever came next.

@Nalla addressed her in response and began to warm the waters of the pool and send steam wafting through the air, and Temperance chuckled lightly to herself. She didn't think the pyromancer would ever ADMIT to enjoying showing off her powerful skills... but Nalla always seemed keen to use her fire whenever the chance arose. And around Temperance, there was ALWAYS an excuse for more fire. Probably, that was why they had become fast friends.

Nobody seemed to respond to her previous outburst, but judging from the amount of people that had turned to stare or rolled their eyes, the message had been heard. Obnoxious though the woman was, she did not have to constantly be the center of attention, and so she leaned back along the stonework she had climbed up into, and kept watch as a guard while everybody else relaxed and comforted one another. She'd just keep watch and hum songs to herself, to keep from getting too bored and losing focus.

“Ex-cuse me! Comin’ through! I bring good tidings!” An au naturel Freja was striding with pride to the bath with a large wooden bowl, the result of toiling with her moonshine kit and some spices, in one hand, a couple cups in another, as she hollered her announcement. The bowl had steam rising from it, although perhaps that was hard to tell with the way the springs had warmed up, and the smell of fruits, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg wafted from it, as did the smell of alcohol. And it appeared Freja had already helped herself to its contents. For taste testing, of course.

“I bring you all: Wassail!” She was almost singing the words. Almost, if not for the cacophonous notes. “Damn! I should’ve brought more cups. I hope everyone else has their own, unless they don’t mind drinking out of the bowl like in old times!” She laughed. “Gimme a holler if you want any!”

As she served up the communal bowl to whoever took her offer—or helped herself to it if nobody did—she seated herself deeper into the water, and even inebriated she could notice her vitality coming back to her, her lungs clearing from the miasma, and even the nasty scar the Primadox had given her finally disappearing (somewhat to her disappointment - it would have made a fine battle trophy to brag about). Freja let out a sigh, knowing nothing but relief.

Out of the corner of her eye, Freja noticed a hand wave, and instinctively followed it to catch the sight of a familiar dark-haired, silver-eyed woman, the same she had collapsed next to near the end of the “crown jog.” Freja decided to answer @Alkaid Zexis’ beckon, rising back up with a cheery “Hel~lo!” that almost sounded like a hiccup at the first syllable. “Holy hell! You brought your own?” She pointed to the bottle in Alkaid’s hand, and, “How did we not meet up before all of this? The trip here would’ve been a thousand times better!” She laughed, patting her opposite number on the back.

“Would I!” Freja raised one of her cups up eagerly. “And you’re free to take some Wassail yourself. I made plenty. Ooh!” Inspiration struck. “What if—you opposed to mixing them? Even if it’s basically mulled cider it goes great with almost everything else. Maybe we’ll pioneer the game’s finest cocktail!”

She sat down next to the woman, decided to try out her own suggestion firsthand, put the bottle and bowl next to each other. Each of their contents went into one cup, and she took a hearty swig. “Name’s Freja, by the way. Whew! Not bad. Anyway, don’t worry about it—I guess you could say I was too busy rubing in some bad jokes with somebody else to notice.” Freja cracked a smug grin, waved to @Grand Witch Majolica as the Witch Ops Commander swam by.

When the “other side” was brought up, it took a moment for Freja’s addled mind to catch on, but when she did, she snickered. “Oh, them? I think the funniest thing with this whole separate baths thing is some of us girls are probably guys, or vice-versa. Especially with how young - and probably curious - some of our players here apparently are.” Freja thought herself a little too old (or too drunk) to be put off by the idea of someone of the opposite sex seeing her leafless, or seeing someone else in their birthday suit.

“Then again,” she continued, “if the guys, and ladies who dress like guys, want to pay a visit, why not make some fun out of it?” Freja chuckled nastily. “Maybe even make things even.”

Lying silently along the edge of the pond, halfway submerged in the water, is a man with white hair, serene. Haru peacefully rests without disturbance, drifting among quiet dreams about what he once did in his life before all of this. He had the feeling he was dreaming, yet never bothered to do anything about it, simply letting his mind wander and watching the show that unfolds from it. Surely he'd wake up if it got too bad. Surely he'd wake up-

What was that tickling feeling? It was obnoxious. Haru forcefully ignores the feeling that creeps around his face, but it just grew more and more awful and unbearable..! He ignores the scenery of his dreams, boring as they were anyway, grabbing at whatever damn nightmarish monster had clamped onto his face- and wakes up after poking his eye. "Aaahh..." Perhaps he was just being melodramatic, but it's amazing how obnoxious an injury can feel when inflicted to one's self without holding back any strength. Wow, that stung. Holding a hand over his right eye, he pulls off whatever was stuck on his face with his left.

"...Is this a mustache?" How poorly was he sleeping to get stuck with this on him? It was kind of bushy, and honestly looked pretty stylish, even though it didn't match the color of his hair in the least. To be honest, he had never tried to go for facial hair in his life. The most he could ever really grow was long stubble, which looked terrible, so he always just shaved it off. Looking at the piece of facial style, Haru wonders why he's never even considered to buy fake facial hair before. This certainly looked pretty real...

It's not like he went outside ever, though, so perhaps it was normal that he never thought of buying luxuries like this. Such a mindset had even crossed over to his character creation, where the thought simply hadn't come up into his mind. It's not like he's ever had it before, so why care for it now, right? A mustache just wasn't for him. Not at all.
    ...
...Maybe if he just tried it on for a few seconds...
Haru, staring down into his reflection in the pond, admires his face with a glorious bushy handlebar adorned upon it. He really can't help but grin- how did he manage to look so cool with this? It was so great that he couldn't help but laugh in awe at how great it was. Mustaches were amazing. "Aha ha ha... I don't know what saint granted me this gift, but I'm definitely keeping it." He muses aloud, truly impressed at himself. The vivid brown only served to stand out against his white hair, a practical neon sign against the face it was on, saying 'Look at me. I am extremely cool!'
However long it took for Caccu to get back, Haru didn't know. He was too busy admiring his amazing Mustache.

"Oh..." Well, the revelation of what happened to the fox's original owner was a real downer. Valdrada tried looking closer at the fox in Destiny Divebird's grip. He didn't seem very appreciative of being held. So... probably not welcoming to ear scratches at the moment. Well, that was fine.

The water was nice, but there wasn't much space in the pool for other people who wanted to take a dip. So, Val got out after a little bit longer, feeling a lot more refreshed and full of energy. Standing in her dripping clothes, she picked up her armor and waffled over what to do now. She couldn't just put on the metal pieces over her sopping wet clothes... Well, she'd just wait to air dry, she supposed.

Leaving a little trail of miniature puddles behind her, Val began walking around the perimeter of the room, examining it. Being observant never hurt anyone!

...Except for all those people who looked into the water in the last chamber... ha ha... ha...

    He closed his eyes.

Again and again. Replay and remember again and again. Sharpen every detail. Recall and listen, beneath the crumbling of stone and the last screams of that otherworldly monster. The chant of ‘kase kase’ over and over, the tormented souls driven to madness.

Every visceral detail, raining down like snowdrops in a subterranean lava chamber. Unpleasant memories dredged up as he dug and dug, searching for that voice that would break him. But no matter how many times he focused, dug back to that moment, there was nothing.

No scream. No bumbling, vocalized madness.

In the end, even with sanity stripped away, Seigi had stayed true to her heroic spirit and held onto the spark of courage. Even if it paled in the face of the ancient darkness within the waters, it was the spark that kept her from regretting her path. And that…that was the true essence of heroism, isn’t it? Being able to blaze a trail without looking back, being able to press on no matter the burdens and the regrets. He opened his eyes. In his user interface, the private message he had sent remained unanswered, but that was fine. Around him, people were still recovering from the horrors that they had faced. Some sang to chase away the fear. Others sought alcohol or action, something to drive off darker thoughts. And for Alphabet, for the rose that bloomed upon her head…some just showed how much further they had been broken by this.

Geez, what the fuck was this pity party? That loud mouthed White Mage had the idea here. No matter what the hell happened, Terrasphere was a game! For the vast majority who were not aware of the Resident of the Rose Garden and her influence upon human players, it simply made no sense for them to be playing this game if all they were doing was crying and being sad and shit, right?

Dark eyes flickered to his hands, the blood cracking over his fingers like her own hands back on the peaks of Norfova, after she had slaughtered that pack and ascended to a new tier of enlightenment.

Yeah, fuck this atmosphere. Time to give it all a slight change. Harmonic magic flowed through his veins, into his lungs, and twisted, converted, into a subtle, unkind magic that twisted the hearts of men and diverted them into a different path.

“Heyo, guys,” Cain called out, “Just got a message from Seigi saying that she’s totes alright! Apparently, that madness effect actually happens AFTER death, so the actual process is more of an instant death scenario, before it possesses you and shit. Makes for great atmospheric horror, but being a victim of it is basically painless.”

So natural were the lies. But Danielle was always good at it, wasn’t she?

“So yeah, now we know that this Bandit King’s basically a giant asshole who keeps literal demons beneath his castle as well. A grand malefimancer chaining endless hordes of nightmares within this icebound fortress, no doubt with plans of conquest in the future! Falderen was horrible, wasn’t it? We can all agree that war is absolute shit, right?”

A hand reached out, snatching one of the bowls of alcohol that @Freja Sitka was peddling. He pounded it down, before dramatically shattering it against the cold ground.

“We’re not just kicking out some bandits now, Lions of the Pride! We’re here to end a war against a demon-slaving psychopath before it begins! Save your sorrows for later! For now, let grief burn to an inferno that will devour this Elysid forsaken place!”

    Cycle 6

While most of the survivors relaxed and took their time soaking in the healing spring, one of the tinkerer, Jawn, skirted around the perimeter of the circular chamber. He was biting the jagged nail on his thumb the entire time, scanning every nook and cranny with incredible accuracy. No door, no window, no way out. He muttered under his breath. Despite his best effort, he could not find an exit anywhere, was the group doomed? NEIN!

Rebounding with a burst of energy, the blond-haired man madly darted around the chamber. He used his intense focus to look for clues in the magical symbols etched into the floor and the wall. His tenacity eventually paid off as he discovered a hint that led him to the very center of the room, where the water collected into a shallow pool people are resting in.

Rolling his sleeves up, Jawn cut right through the water, splashing people on the side, eliciting irritation from the resting adventurers. He ignored the plebeians’ moans and whines as he approached the icy wall Caccu had forged from the water. After a brief incantation, fire spewed from Jawn’s palm, melting away part of the wall, revealing a half-naked girl on the other side. Just as let out a scream, he boiled the water between them, turning the liquid into a blast of hot steam to make her go away. “Begone, I don’t have time for you!”

With the little problem taken care of, he dove headfirst to the bottom of the pool. With one magical touch, the chamber became filled with life. Loud sound could be heard all around the enclosure as a powerful source of magical energy gathered at the center of the room, manifesting in the form of a bright blue orb in which a number was displayed: 0 / 12.

From this orb, streaks of magical energy began lighting up and branched outward in a magitech pattern, according to how they were laid out by the original architect. When these branches reached a certain point on the skirt of the room, twelve bigger spheres appeared around the room.

Eureka! The man thought to himself as he dashed toward Caccu with a fiendish expression of pride on his face.

There's no exit in this chamber, it's entirely closed off. But, I found the way out and I think this is it. With a 90% certainty, I think this is a teleportation device that should get us out of here!

I told nya bunch to rest, didn't I? Is this thing really a teleportation device? If it is we could end up anywhere, magic ain't that simple... But it's nyot like we have any other choice.

The question is… how does this device operate? I can only guess…

Magitech often has the instructions in the form of the spell cast on it to make it work. Nyot sure if the same goes for ancient stuff like 'dis though... Hmm. I can't read much on the stuff on it, but maybe the spheres need to be activated, so the one in the middle teleport us?

Jawn entered one of the 12 spheres floating around the room. It appeared to be holographic, seeing as how he was able to walk inside like nothing existed in that space. The sphere glowed brighter once he went into it.

Hey, I see an iconography here, I think it needs another person! Come in.

Caccu was reluctant but she entered as well. The iconography within the sphere changed, signifying that they had met one of the conditions.

Oi, oi, I see words here in some kind of language. Wait I have seen this magical language before, I think it says… uh… the, avatar, frostfire? The Avatar of Frostfire. Wait, what does that mean? What is Frostfire?

Hmmm, I see nyow. Ignia sarlea erla serla! Aghara rahmdra arada maradra!

She cast one orb of fire and one of ice in each hand, mixing both shortly after.

And then nyou do this. That's how you get frostfire. Double casting...

Jawn turned into a block of ice in was burning on the outside. Despite being unable to speak, he was able to changed his facial expression into that of someone in intense pain. Just as his skin began turning purple from the frostfire effect, Caccu yelped in surprise before she snapped her fingers, cancelling the spell "Okay, we know how 'dis thing works nyow. Sorry about that, buddy." This released him from his icy prison.

Jawn quickly fell to his knees and began to gasp for air as he padded fire all over himself to revert the effect of being burned by ice. After this demonstration, the sphere seemed to stay permanently lit even when both of them stepped out of it. The orb in the center of the room changed to: 1 / 12.

They had discovered how to activate the orb, now it was just the matter to repeating the same process among the 11 other spheres. After Caccu tended the Jawn for a bit, she stood up and headed back to the group of adventurers and spoke in her usual peppy voice.

Alright nya bunch! Did nya git some good rest? I hope so, cause we'll have to work through some stuff to get outta 'dis place.

So here's the deal. Each one of 'dese big round magitech orbs have some weird images in them. They should give ya a rough idea of what you need to do. Basically, you do what it asks, and the orb lights up.

We have to git all 12 of them to light up, it seems, and then we'll be teleported. I went through all of them with Jawn and they are:
    1. Avatar of Frostfire
    2. Entwined Warrior’s Soul
    3. Dormant Phantasmal Nightmare
    4. Conflagration and Repentance
    5. Unquenchable Pride and Envy
    6. Converging Love and Hate
    7. King of Gods
    8. The Weaved Tapestry
    9. The Hero’s Beginning and End
    10. Flash before the Fall
    11. Two Sides of the Same Coin
    12. The Birth of the Beast
To light 'em up, nya do a magic, perform an action, take out an item, thinking certain thought, or being someone that fits one of its criteria. The idenya is to combine these things together to fit the riddle. Since we can't do everythin' by onyeself, we'll have ta work in pair, alright?!

Everyone can post once this cycle. If you have two characters, you may only post with one of them. Minimum of 100 words and maximum of 500 words.

This cycle is a creative puzzle. In order to solve the puzzle, everyone must pair up and enter a sphere together. Each sphere has a condition that must be met before it lights up and power the orb in the center of the chamber.

There are 12 spheres that must be lit up. Jawn and Caccu solved the first one. The remaining 11 are:
    1. Avatar of Frostfire
Solved simulcasting ice and fire at the same time to burn a person with ice.

    2. Entwined Warrior’s Soul
    3. Dormant Phantasmal Nightmare
    4. Conflagration and Repentance
    5. Unquenchable Pride and Envy
    6. Converging Love and Hate
    7. King of Gods
    8. The Weaved Tapestry
    9. The Hero’s Beginning and End
    10. Flash before the Fall
    11. Two Sides of the Same Coin
    12. The Birth of the Beast
To fulfill the condition of a sphere, you must carefully think about what it is asking for. The inputs that the sphere will accept include:
    • Action: punching, drinking, praying, fighting, etc.
    • Mastery: using or having a mastery, which may include magic
    • Item: pulling an item out of your inventory
    • Thought: thinking about a specific thing
    • Presence: if your identity or past meets the criteria, your presence is enough
Summary: Meet the hidden criteria of a sphere with your partner based on the hint given through a combination of the inputs above, the closest solution will light up the sphere. All of the spheres do not require more than 4 inputs.

Both members of the pair must post separately. Try to work together though! Both of you must include what you are doing in the sphere, but only one of you have to explain the thought process or justification for your solution.

More than one group can try to solve/light up a sphere this cycle. Depending on your progress, I may end the cycle early and update the spheres that have been lit and refresh the post cycle.

To help you guys organize, please refer to this G-sheet. Mods will try to update it as often as they can.

    [ Spheres Lit : 1 / 12 ]

Solving puzzle cost no energy even if you use magic thanks to the water's effect (it's still there).

Val made a beeline for the white-haired woman that she saw with the badge. There were a lot of people poking about in the rubble after the fight with the enormous creature and the crystal bandits, so there was a lot of discoveries. Some of them were, uh, not the most useful things--Kaede was glowing bright green, and there was this one guy who just would not stop quacking, what was up with that?--but, a lot of people had found some sort of insignia.

It looked roughly similar to the golden medal that Caccu had passed out to some other people. Hopefully they were similar enough to count as the 'same coin'?

Anyway, Valdrada walked over to her, pulling out the gold lion medal. "Uh, hi!" she said, moving closer and holding it out. "This is the one I have. It's, uh, not exactly the same shape, but I think it should work."

She tried getting a closer look at the one that Luna had. It was dark, with fur on it, and a picture of a wolf. Cocking her head slightly, Valdrada tried, "And mine has a lion on it, and yours has a wolf? So it could be like, they're opposites, because a lion is a cat and a wolf is a dog? So, they're like two different sides...?"

Yeaaah, that was probably a stretch. But, it was a plan. Better than nothing. The worst case scenario would be that nothing happened, so it was worth trying. "We can try to go over to the orb and stand in it while we're holding up the coins to each other? Or maybe we should fasten them together first. Somehow..."

Now that she was finally less teary and had let god of Savannah to watch people start gearing up to solve the puzzles that they'd been faced with, Luna found herself looking down at the strange insignia that she'd found back after they'd killed that giant beast and were all looking around. She brushed a thumb over it, looking down and replying to a message that had mentioned her, before looking up to look around for the girl that was supposed to be looking for her.

Luna glanced up as the girl finally approached, looking at the medallion that she somehow possessed. Had she had it for a while now? It didn't look old, though she supposed appearances could be deceiving. "Uh, h-hi there! Yeah, I um, I t-think that reasoning is s-sound enough to um, to uh, give it a try..."

Say what she wanted, Luna didn't sound extremely confident, though she usually never did no matter what. She nodded, reaching down to her boots and removing some of the laces, holding them out to Valdrada to take with a soft, shaky smile. "We can tie them together with these, o-or we could try just holding them...?" She wasn't sure whether it mattered or not, but she wanted her temporary partner to decide. "U-umm, well then, s-shall we?"

She offered a shaky smile, leading the way to the circle and carefully holding her wolf insignia up to Valdrada's medallion, securing them to fit together better with the piece of lace she'd removed a second ago.

It took some doing, but with the help of Ilya Vina managed to calm down, the silver-haired vixen exhaling deeply as colour returned to her face. Feeling Ilya's skin come into contact with her own she blinked, then smiled at the golden-haired lioness as she quickly joined her dear companion in the song, humming along until it was time for them to actually start singing. At that point Vina slipped her arm around Ilya and pulled her closer, placing her forehead against Ilya's even as she gazed into those brilliant violet eyes and the words left her lips.

It also helped that Snøvær was right there, the white wolf licking Vina's free shoulder gently as Vina used her free hand to scratch her animal companion behind the ears, her reward being a wagging tail from the wolf. Now that she was once again enveloped by affection and positivity Vina quickly returned to her old self, giggling softly as she embraced Ilya with both arms and nuzzled the lioness before suddenly everyone in the pool was somewhat rudely interrupted by one of the other adventurers, who began melting away the ice wall and scared one of the girls by warding her off with wall of steam.

The druidess frowned as she watched that happen. The man didn't care about what the people around him were doing as long as they didn't get in his way, so it was better to focus on the girl. Whispering an apology to Ilya Vina stood up to walk over to the girl and make sure she was all right, using some of her own magic to help soothe the pain even if the pool already took care of pretty much everything. As for the male side who could now stare into the female side, Vina just winked at them and gave them a small wave before turning back around and walking back towards Ilya, swaying her hips and letting her tail swish from side to side to constantly reveal glimpses of her legs and behind.

Watching the rest of the puzzle get revealed Vina wandered around a bit, studying each sphere and the puzzle it contained before brightening up as she read the description of Entwined Warrior's Soul. "Hey, this one should be easy~" Walking back towards the water she gave Ilya a mischievous smile before reaching down and helping the lioness get up before leading her towards the sphere. The moment they were inside of the sphere Vina turned around, pulled Ilya into a tight embrace, and kissed her full on the mouth without warning, her tail seeking out Ilya's to entangle with it.

Ilya was the beautiful lioness, the warrior of the Pride, and the hint just said Ilya's soul would have to be entwined with something... And Vina was all too eager to offer her own.

It seemed that Ilya had managed to help return Vina to her usual self. The simple action of Vina pulling Ilya closer. Her own violet eyes gazing and meeting Vina’s azure blue ones.

The nuzzling that Vina offered to Ilya set a fire ablaze in her stomach. A blush crept up and lit up her cheeks. The feeling of Vina’s breath as she softly whispered her apology took any negative feelings or thoughts that Ilya might have felt or had.

The humor that followed shortly after due to Vina’s actions towards the males caused Ilya to giggle softly. Her eyes, taking in the sight of Vina’s body. The curves bringing another blush across Ilya’s cheeks. Her feelings for Vina once again sprouting to the surface.

The mischievous look that Vina shot at Ilya made a smirk line Ilya’s own lips. Following the mischievous grin and smirk of the two was Vina urging Ilya to join her in standing. It was not long after Ilya had stood that she was pulled towards one of the orbs that awaited lighting. Her body, being visible to everyone made Ilya feel more reliant on Vina’s hold.

The lighting of the orb as the two stepped into it made the thoughts fly away. As soon as her thoughts left her, she was taken by surprise as Vina began to kiss her. The soft feeling of Vina;s lips on her own cause the fire to sprout once again as their lips began to move in synchronization.

The feeling of bare skin, enticing Ilya further. Not wanting to pull away, she continued (Even taking it so far as to deepen the kiss)... Her tail entangled Vina’s as one hand pulled Vina’s body even closer. The other running through Vina’s hair.

Ilya’s whole being, soul included was not only physically entwined with the vixen, but also emotionally and spiritually. Her warrior-nature had fallen head over heels for the druidess. Their souls being entwined.

Roland ran his hand through the odd water listlessly as those around him began to mutter and discuss amongst themselves how best to solve the puzzle before them. To him, it seemed a rather simple set of riddles to solve. This was mainly due to their vagueness; it'd be unrealistic for a specific set of events to trigger the sphere as they needed. This meant they had all kinds of wiggle room, which also sucked out most of the fun. Rather than worry about it, he stuck to the back waiting to see if his skills would be called upon. This gave him an opportunity to inspect those around him further.

One that peaked his interest earlier was the smaller Felis character who was followed by some sort of robotic ball. Now that was something out of the ordinary. Sure the mini pets in the game sometimes stretched the boundaries of the in-game lore, but a mechanical creature seemed to break it outright. He searched the crowd with his eyes before he spotted her being accompanied by the creature. It was a very, very interesting little thing, if not a bit mouthy. As he watched her, an idea began to form in the back of his head. With a sigh he realized it was pointless for him to try and stay out of these things, after all, he simply couldn't resist a puzzle.

Affixing a friendly smile to his face, Roland pushed himself forward towards @Celestine, casually observing her mechanical toy as he did so. "Ahhh, I have an idea to solve a sphere," he said once he was within earshot, "Do you think you and your toy would come with me...?" Despite his phrasing, his tone indicated it was not a question, as did his hand as he aimed for her wrist in an attempt to drag her behind him.

The direction he tried to take her towards was the fifth sphere, he talked as he did so, "I noticed that sphere on the bridge, and I have to say I'm intrigued. Im a bit of a tech head myself, and I haven't seen anything like it in the game. This brings me to think we can likely solve one of these spheres by merely walking to it." Once he had finished, they would have arrived in the center of the sphere. "So.... " Roland said with a greedy grin, "Where did you get it, and how much do you want for it?"

[Solving Unquenchable Pride and Envy. Roland taking on the part of Envy specifically being envious of Cele's tsunderball, which she will not give to Roland. Celes will play the part of pride; I'll let @Luma describe what she is prideful of]

Celestine marveled as the room suddenly lit up with magical lights - supposedly a result of that eccentric guy in the middle of the pool over there. In the... ‘middle.’ Geez, more reasons never to go naked in public places.

"So it is the giant puzzle," Celes commented. "Why would someone do a design of a teleporter that takes twelve of the peoples...?"

"Because obviously the meat people who built this place were morons with no appreciation for proper magitech," the floating ball jabbed at no one in particular. It glowed in a soft purple as it followed Celestine to check out the various puzzle spheres, but quicked shifted to a bright red as Celly was led away but a kind looking stranger.

"Oh, okay. I can do a come. What is the id—"

"Toy? Did you seriously just call me a toy!?" The ball floated right by Roland’s head as they passed into the sphere. Despite there being no visual cue, it was hard to shake the feeling he was on the receiving end of a glare as he continued talking.

"You want to do it a buy? Err, I do not thi—"

"You must be joking!" Tsunderball interrupted yet again, the red turning dark... almost to black. "You couldnt afford to buy me from Master with all the money from these meat people combined. Im a highly sophisticated Tuathan Magitech Maid Node! You cant just trade me like a bank note! Especially to a tasteless meat sack who thinks Im just a toy! Hmpf~"

    Silence... for a moment.

"Err... I would have done that a saying of a little more delicacy, but... ‘that.’ Kind of." Tsunderball quickly grew a bright pink that became almost blindingly bright. "Sorry, I am not thinking I can do a sell of Tsunderball here. Oh! But I see what you are doing a try of. It is the clever plan, yes."

"W-w-wait?! Was this all for some dumb puzzle?! Stupid meat sack! You should pay Master for wasting her time with this rediculous nonsense!"

"Ehhh.... hehe, why a puzzle? That's so annoying... hehehe."

Following the kitten commander around and watching the frost-fire debacle had gotten Majolica's blood pumping.

Hey! Hehe, I can do things like that too! Maybe this puzzle won't be so bad!

"Hehehe, well if a puzzle must be defeated, then Grand Witch Majolica will pass with flying colors! Hehehe, just like with those stupid heavy crowns, Grand WItch Majolica always comes through! Hehehe, let's see what these orbs look like!"

Quickly, Majolica moved between all of the others orbs looking for one should she could probably do fairly easily. It wouldn't be good to do them all and steal all the credit for herself, even though surely she could, hehe.

Hehe, entwining warriors souls? Hehehe, no. That one sounds gross.

    She scampered to the next.

Birth of the beast, hehehe? That one also sounds gross.

    And on...

Two sides of the same coin.. there's only one Grand Witch Majolica! There's no other side! Hehehe! Pass.

And on. Though she stopped briefly at King of the Gods, she moved on to the next one because she wasn't a king.

Hehehe, I'm a the Grand Witch! Not a King! But if I was royalty I would be Queen! Queen Grand Witch Majolica! Hehehe, that sounds fun! Hehehe!

Finally, after running around the room, she came across 'Dorman Phantasmal Nightmare'.

"Hehehe, ooh! This one looks good. As a Grand Witch, hehe, I have black magic and illusion magic so I can make something really scary! Hehehehe!"

Surveying the group, Majolica locked eyes with a white-haired mage looking type. She hadn't actually talked to him but he seemed like a nice and kind person, so basically exactly the type of person she could aggressively bring along to use an ethically questionable brand of magic on.

Hehehe... he'll do! Hehehe! Gotta face your fears someday, and today is the day! We've got a bandit king to take down! Hehehe!

Majolica walked towards @Haru grabbing his wrist and pulling him.

"Hehehe, Grand Witch Majolica has a grand idea as to how to make one of the orbs work!"

Majolica giggled stopped pulling, and slapped her knee at her little joke, then continued tugging on Haru.

"Come on, let's just go over to the orb, hehehe! Don't worry, hehe, it won't hurt or anything!"

Realizing she didn't have the strength to pull him with her, Majolica did what she usually did in these situations. She used her broom's magic bristles to pick him up and placed him gently where she needed.

"Hehehe, perfect! Don't worry! Just remember none of it is real, and Majolica doesn't hurt her allies, only enemies! Hehehehe!"

Facing Haru, Majolica closed her eyes and chanted.

"Yellowish Never plus one equals Apple minus Xtreme Never!"
