  1. Aalam was still in the castle watching how everyone was walking around and moving; he was paying extra attention to how the servants would approach people of a higher rank. There was always that bow and a bit of a shudder. It was a process to try and get that accent, which was the most challenging part of the entire thing. They rolled there Rs more that he was used to be but it was still the standard Astorean language the NPCs spoke back in the kingdom. He had been placed in a tight situation, the job wanted him to kill Zeus, but Zeus was a man hired by the kingdom to help deal with the bandit problem. However he couldn't allow the man to succeed entirely, it would give the Pride too much control of the Northernmost areas. The bandits had to take care of. However, there was no question about that; if there were left unbroken, then it would bite the country in the ass.

While the others were debating about the job itself which was childish, if you agree to do a job then you have decided to get it done. So while playing half attention to the conversation, his eyes drifted towards the bottle on the table. It seemed that while many people where content to look at it or talk about it no one had yet moved it. When he had read the message that had reached him from the Service, it compounded he believes. He would need to hurt the Bandits through weakening king, but the fact they wanted him alive was interesting. It could have been that they had a plan for the long term that hinged on the man’s survival. He did have a complete of the map of the bandit entire fortress that would be of great benefit. As it showed the locations of the alchemist study and every entrance to the castle, taking the bottle of the table as they were being shown down to the passage draining away the liquid that was in the flask. He made sure that he brought up the back of the group, they didn’t need to see what he was doing pouring out about a small amount of the poison in the flask and then recorking the bottle. Stopping to watch the rest being lead back down the tunnel, however moving to a position in the shadow. He had an interesting job; now he had to poison the King. The amount he added should be enough to weaken the man well enough, and even if they caught that he was poisoned, the treatment would weaken him considerably.

However, he needed a new uniform and then to get him to drink some of the mixtures, all without someone knowing that he was still in the castle. He also needs to convince the man to move into a more secure area one that would allow for him to be extracted if the job went terribly. This passage that they were being shown would be the best option to ensure that he wasn't killed.

Action: Attempting to keep out of sight and find a uniform locker, so as to have a better disguise.

After some searching you ended up in the servant quarter and was able to find a closet full of clothes. Some of these attires appear exactly like what the servants in charge of food last night were wearing. However, before you have time to do anything with the clothes you found, two servants came into the room, bewildered that you were standing in front of the closet. What do you do?

  3. This was going to be tricky both of servants were looking right at him; he wasn’t going to be able to pick the lock with them standing there. He could just kill them, but then that would leave the bodies. He had his orders they wanted this to be done quietly. So he fixed his face in a look of a man that had a lot to do and not a much time to see it done. Giving his voice a deeper pitch and speeding up his speech, giving his words that air of impatience.

“Ahh, you there I see that King did have his assist for that order of assistance, good to know he is serious about getting this job done. I need to pair of clothing from this closet."

Folding his arms and stepping to the side of the door staring down the servants. If he were able to pull off just the right combination of tone and body language, it would sell the bluff more than anything else. He was doing radiating that authority that he had gained on the watch as a commander

Action: Bluffing the servants to open the door for him, so that he can get a uniform.

The two servants shot one another a perplexed look as Aalam ordered them into opening the closet. Although the taller servant thought it was strange and was about to ask, he decided not to, simply for the fact that the man before him was extremely intimidating and seemed to be in a hurry. In the bandit fortress, any servants who worked directly for the Erasmus were super devoted to the craft of serving, because one false move and it's off with their head. Erasmus was notorious for his quick temper.

"Here, you best get whatever you need done before the king throw you into the dungeon. We'll just do something else in the meantime. I'm rather surprised that the king is even awake at this time, he's usually sleeping until at least 10 AM. Anyways, off you go!"

"He's already up, Rasmus, reading a book in the study I believe. I think the Pride's invasion is pushing him off the edge. We better not mess up or we're going to receive the full brunt of his wrath..." the other servant gossiped.

  5. He wanted to the closet and took a uniform from the throwing it over his amour, it would be a bit hot but nothing he would be able to deal with. As he did so listening to the conversation that the servants were having. It seemed that the King wasn’t as loved by his people as he would like to believe and that was something he found interesting. It gave him an option down the line; he would be able to just outright kill King with an arrow so he would have to do the next best thing. Feeling the cold steel of his flask press against his skin, it still had good concertation of poison in it.

As he left the closets his mind begun to work they he needed a way to poison the man, and the only way that he could think to do that was to get him to drink it down. The alchemist said that it would take a drop to kill them and at least 10 for Zeus. However, that man was a legend King was not it shouldn’t take more than 5. But for right now he needed to get a goblet and a tray and then some wine, in that order. Acting his stealth to the max throwing both of his voice and his walking patterned, as long as he was able to keep his stealth up they should look too hard at him.

Action: Trying to find the kitchen to get the Goblet, the tray, and the wine.

You quickly find where the kitchen was and the staff were preparing for breakfast, which would be happening in a few hours. Although they question why you were up so early and if Erasmus was awake, your facial expression discouraged them from continuing with the small talk. After you demanded the necessary items for an early morning sip of wine, you left the kitchen with a tray in hand.

Afterward, if you intended on heading to Erasmus throne room, you would head there, though you unfortunately ran into the head maester, himself who was walking down the corridor to the opposite direction.

"Oya, wine for his majesty? He is asleep in the throne room for the moment, if you would like to help him take the edge off, I suggest you do so now before he wakes up."

  7. Gave a bow at the head, he had to make sure that he played his part correctly. Speaking put softly as if he did want to bring down anyone anger on his head. So he kept his eyes looking down towards the floor.

"Yes sir, right away sir I will get this to him right now sir.

However, the fact that he was sleeping was a bit of information was something that he could have used. It meant that there was less of a chance that he would be able to remember that they had met before.

As he made his way to the throne room, he took out his flask and unscrewed the top, carefully pouring a few drops of that poison into his wine. The alchemist said it would take a drop to kill players and ten to kill Zeus so four should be enough to weaken at least. The wine was stronger enough that it would mask the taste.

Action: Finding and making it to the throne room, poisoning the wine.

You successfully carried out your mission without a single soul notice. The Lion's Pride may not know about your contribution, but they will definitely notice the Bandit King's health when and if they do encounter him. Though you don't quite know for sure if he does drink it. You do not have time to make sure he does, as you are quite behind the others in your fellowship.

It still puzzled you as to why your benefactor did not tell you to betray the Aristocracy's mission or to flat out kill Erasmus. But you know better than to question what you do.

When you get a job, you do the job. @Aalam Abungu
