  1. Skipping over to Vina's side she kissed her cheek before the peaceful moments the room had was interrupted by the boisterous Zeus entering the room. He was stumbling, and one of his arms was missing. Ilya's face instantly held concern. Watching as Vina ran over, Ilya followed pursuit. Hearing about the poisonous cloth, Ilya only barely heard @Vina Skysong as she asked if she could help. Her body was already moving towards Zeus. Her body squeezing and pushing through everyone that was surrounding Zeus. She had specifically, brushed away @Roland Rutledge as he was nearest to Zeus' side. Reaching out towards Zeus, the man that treated her as if she were his daughter, she reached forward, her arms wrapping around him as much as was possible. Her body pressed to Zeus' in a hug. "Zeus! Why!? Please tell me you are okay..." The concern that was laced in her voice only added to her small talk. She had taken her place at his side, yet at the moment, that place was hugging him.

Still remaining in the hug, she reached up to kiss his dirty cheek. "Allow me to help... In any way I can..." Her eyes were sparking with determination as incoherent words spilled from her lips, water began to surround her body as it began to brush by Zeus' body. Her attempt, to wash Zeus' dirtied body. The water was not too cold and not too hot, it would be no bother to Zeus, as it cleaned him till the dirt and blood was no longer present. With a grimace, Ilya spoke again. "Zeus... This might hurt, but....It has to be done.." Everyone else had been attempting to heal the wound, yet the poison would remain in his system. Blood is 92% water, thus Ilya would be able to manipulate it to what needed to be done. With a huge sigh of concentration, Ilya removed herself from the hug she had begun. Her hands reaching out, touching the shoulder where the arm was missing. "udah obi ekto kehnu lumeh" With Ilya's eyes closed. The incantation allowed her to see the water in the body that she was touching. Focusing on the blood stream, she noticed something that seemed to be attacking the water. Her lips began to move as she started another incantation, water, sprouting in the air surrounded her body, enveloping her in a "water layer". The poison that had been attacking the bloodstream, began to shift. Her incantation causing certain water to be moved, moving the infected blood itself. It took a while, but Ilya managed to remove the poison from his bloodstream.

Her eyes opened as the water around her disappeared, her body once again grasped to Zeus. Continuing to hug him.

(OOC: Not sure which person to tag. But the action is that Ilya removed the poison, by removing water from the bloodstream and replacing it with non poisoned water. She is also hugging Zeus, so yeh)

Well, it just went to show... you never could rely on society.
Despite her sane and sincere suggestion, nobody seemed to even acknowledge Temperance as she, deflated, lowered her arms and sauntered off to go drink in a dark corner all on her lonesome. If there had been a point to trying to help, she had forgotten it in her renewed misanthropy as she found a pew to seat herself upon and began to down Freja's generous donation of booze.

A lot seemed to be going on. Too much, really. Everyone had flocked to heal Zeus trying everything from changing bandages to replacing his blood with pure water. That... last one didn't sound very SAFE. If the game were anything like real life, the imbalanced PH of the blood could cause all sorts of damage to the body. Not to mention, pure water injected into the veins caused horrible bruising as cell walls ruptured. Something to do with... salts... or? It'd been too long since she'd studied that shit, and anyway, in the end it was all a game.
Where was Cain to heal the guy? Well where was she for that instance... she could have done it herself, probably. Maybe. But she'd wanted to try to have fun, and her parade had been immediately rained on.

Rather than compete with the snake oil salesmen and faith healers surrounding the leader of the Pride, she remained from her newest vantage and just... watched... waiting for what came next.

  3. The back of Eryl's hand wiped across her forehead, smearing its sweat with grime, dust, dirt, and filth. Eryl didn't consider herself a healer, but apparently, for some reason, the astral magic offered some healing capacity. If this party was going to succeed, which she wanted, then it was going to take everyone pulling their own weight and that included Eryl. She found her way down one of the flagstone steps to one of the larders. A barrel of water that was only slightly frozen sat in it, nestled next to a ruffled pallet and a sack of small trinkets and food. All of those things she had found, Eryl didn't want to be encumbered by the weight, so she made a small deposit here, hidden in the hay. It was a nice spot to get away from the business of being a healer--even for a few moments. Eryl pulled her crimson hair back, binding it in a messy bun before splashing some of the frigid water on her face. The cold shock helped dispel the weariness that had threatened to come on her from the effort. A few more splashes helped clear away more of the dirt, showing her youthful alabaster face. Silence filled the room and as she gazed into the reflection of her own dark brown eyes, Eryl defocused into relaxation.

The silence wouldn't last for long, as the swordswoman heard shuffling and excitement in the next room. If they found a loot cache, she wanted a bit of it. If they found another one of those bandit outcroppings, she wanted a chance at the Mastery Points too. She couldn't have had a clue what it truly was. Her hand gripped a dark brown satchel from beside the barrel of water and made her way out the door.

Her knee-high leather boots clambored through the chambers as Eryl hurried towards the throne room just in time to see Zeus fall and a crowd of healers came to attend to him. On his heels came another, Eryl had always been good about seeing the full picture, especially things others didn't see. But it was hard to miss the curvy woman with bright purple hair, and a command of the room. Judging by her appearance, she looked like a magic-based player. Eryl could see the smoldering wound on her arm as the woman lay back on the rocks.

Eryl shouldered the bag she had and crossed to courtyard the other woman.

"Hold still," she said kneeling beside the other woman.

She looked the woman over for other injuries, there were many scrapes, bruises, cuts, and all other manner of injuries. None of them were as dangerous as the massive burn here. Part of her wanted to ask what had happened, but Eryl was all too business-filled to worry about it. She opened her satchel and gripped a small vile of glowing blue liquid, "Here, take this first."

She offered it to the purple haired lady and waited for a moment, rummaging through her satchel, looking for some bandages. "I'm going to need to dress this, and its probably going to hurt a lot."

With the gauze in one hand and a vile of ointment in the other her stern dark brown eyes looked her patient's blue, "Brace yourself."

  4. Vivian heard the mellow voice of the male Pyromancer coming from her left yet she did not move a muscle when his voice was heard. She instead continued to lay comfortably on her rock bed looking up at the sky, her right arm continued to billow a sort of smoke as the purple pulsating glow seemed to come and go from the wounded arm.

She took in a heavy breath hearing a second voice, feminine. Her eyes were blinded by sky as her head shifted and looked towards the player addressing her. She sat up with a grunt to meet a redheaded female she had never seen before, commanding with voice and presence alike. The Dark Witch was too dazed to understand what was going on.

Vivian's arm was smoldering still with smoke as the woman began her practiced healing. Vivian holding a blue tonic in her hand, "If this ain't alcohol, I don't want it." She looked up at Emil and gave him a half smile finally noticing him.

"Don't worry, after what I have been through, I don't think the pain can get any worse..." Vivian said softly, she looked the woman in the eyes with her azure glow and she was trying to figure out who she was and where the hell she even came from. Was she a Pride member as well? Or maybe just some random person coming to give heals to people who have been wounded.

Whatever the case was, the woman leaned over, bracing herself as she was, but she could not help but let her busty chest get closer to the woman as she turned with a flickering smile. Eyes lifted from the Healer and to Lucia, a wider curve on her lips as she mouthed the words 'Fire Crotch' and pointed at the redhead. @Emil Trevelyan @Lucia Mierz

    Cycle 2

Seeing all the cubs up in arms over their beloved leader, perhaps doing more damage out of good intention than anything, Jawn knew he had to take charge and organize the effort lest he wanted to let Zeus die from everyone’s overwhelmingly good intention. One of the female mages in the back immediately stepped up and used her magic to try and cleanse the poison, however, failing to do such. Following her were a bunch of people clamoring in a frenzy, crowding up around Zeus to stop him from dying.

After taking a deep breath to relieve the frustration that has been building up inside him, Jawn barked out orders, hoping the cubs will listen to him as much as they listen to Caccu. They likely needed something more temporary until they understand what they were dealing with, as far as poison goes.

Alright, alright, hold on a damn minute. We need to do this properly or the old man is just going to croak. I know a thing or two about the human body in real life so listen carefully.

So first, @Vina Skysong can buff us, hold the heals. Phew, alright, now we can continue. @Ilya , do your creepy water magic shenanigans and collect some of the poison from his bloodstream and gather it in his stomach. You likely can’t extract the tainted water from his body so we’ll have to neutralize it some other ways.

Okay, good, the poison is concentrating in his abdomen now, @Bradwynne heal his arteries, Ilya’s magic has damaged quite a bit in there.

Just as Jawn gave out instructions, Zeus’ good eye suddenly snapped wide open as he began to emit a threatening aura that would sent chills up the spine of anyone who was in the immediate vicinity.

Shit, I think he’s waking up, @Haru, distract his spirit. Does anyone have some kind of tranquilizer? Oh, Duke @Roland Rutledge, give me that potion.

Jawn grabbed the potion, reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a syringe which he jabbed into Zeus’ muscular neck, praying it will put him back to sleep. After confirming that Zeus had become unconscious again, he wiped his brows in relief.

Okay, now that that has been taken care of, @Emerath Katou, your antidote. It should hopefully neutralize the poison after I inject it into his stomach.

    Phew… done.

I think he’s stabilized for now and knocked out cold. Whatever poison was in his system could not have been cleansed even by a Mastered-level White Mage, we are in a bit of a dangerous situation right now. It would be best if people started to escort him back to the Pride’s HQ to heal while the rest should remain here and deal with the aftermath.

After the ordeal, @Roland Rutledge received a message from Astor, which he immediately shared with Jawn. Although the man had appeared incredibly annoyed and tired up until now, the unexpected news changed his expression and aura into that of joy. Another player also came to him with a forwarded message from Astor’s staff with another tidbit of news.

Alright! The King has given the Pride the right over this fortress! We’re one step closer to restoring the glory to our den, cubs! Rejoice!

In any case, as Zeus had promised, we will now be taking all of the wares that the bandits have stolen and stored and return them to Vintergard where they will likely be returned to the citizenry. Anyone who still have an ounce of energy should roll up their sleeves and get to work loading up the cart. The King apparently had sent additional carriages to take all the supplies.

Maybe after all of this is over, we can finally grab our stuff from that dirty tavern and transport them here. It’s going to take a lot of work to renovate this rundown place, but it has a lot of room and potential to be our new hall of glory!

Vivian's azure eyes looked up on the redhead girl and smiled, patting her on the head. She was right, it hurt like hell to have her wound dressed, but at least the insufferable pain was now more tolerable. A sighed escaped her lips as she lifted herself up and dusted her cinged skirt off from the dirt. The woman adjusted her beat up witch hat over her head and then looked to the small group.

"I am gonna go inside. The fortress seems to be The Pride's now and that means we can walk freely inside. I have some exploring to do within. I wish not to be followed..." she said rather grimly as she swayed her hips and moved from the outside to the inside of the fortress.

Within the throne room, people were massing around Zeus. Her eyes rolled in disbelief at the amount of attention the unconscious man as getting. Yet while they practiced their magic in helping the Legend. Out of the crowd, she recognized a man she had met before, Eme--something. She couldn't quite put her finger on the name, but she recognized the face all the same. She moved towards him with her sauntering steps. Light bare feet on the cold, stone floor as she tapped him on the shoulder and leaned into his ear and whispered. She leaned back and started to walk away from the group discreetly and beckoning the boy to follow her.

She would wait at the base of the steps for a moment before going up a flight of stairs. With everyone occupied with Zeus and getting things cleared up, she was on the hunt for something priceless. Even if Emerath did not follow her, she would come up to a door that she felt was the King's room. With her investigative mode turned on, she examined the door and shook her head, "I am no rogue..." she said softly, her hand on the knob of the door and she rattled it only to find it locked.

The Dark Witch sighed, and waited for her companion to follow. She only hoped he would help, if not, she would have to do something else to get the door open but she didn't want to cause a commotion especially now that this was the Pride new HQ, she didn't wanna go breaking shit.

Her azure eyes remained on the door and waited, if not then she would have to do something drastic. @Emerath Katou

  7. Location Outside the Fortress
Pulling an arrow from someone's back middle conversation while drinking was quite weird, that's Temperance for you. After finishing her business with Nalla, the blonde knight went inside the throne room, where all the other people seeking warmth were. Suddenly Zeus barged in with some unknown people, looking grievously injured and losing an arm. Several people quickly piling up on him and start treating the wounds and poison with magic and alchemy concoction. Due to the sheer number of people circling the enormous man, Corvella couldn't get close to him; not that she could do anything to help as she had no means to heal, making her consider once more to pick up healing sorcery.

She sat on the corner of the throne room, feeling useless for the time being before Jawn announced that Zeus has been stabilized and the fortress is secured for Lion's Pride. Well well, from a wrecked tavern to a massive fortress? Hope the management guy doesn't mess up the budgeting this time or the Pride will be back to square one soon enough. Now what's left is to load up the stolen goods to the carts sent by the king to be returned to the citizens. The blonde-haired girl stood up, got rid of the dusts on her bottom and went to help the others to load the wares.

Of course it wouldn't be easy. A bandit clan of this size has stolen from all over the region, piling up goods in their treasury. Some of the stolen wares were actually too big and arguably useless it raised the question on why did the bandits took them in the first place. Only after loading few of them, Corvella already felt her back pained from the heavy lifting, including her own heavy armor "Ow ow." She leaned on one of the carriages on the outside to rest before attempting to go back inside to load the rest of the wares, waiting on her fellow Pride comrades.

Emerath couldn't help but smile. After all that had transpired in actually taking down the Bandit King, his antidote had been successful in curing what sounded like an otherwise incurable poison. Everyone had worked together, and Emerath felt good about that. The Lions coming together to save the day, and the man who made it all possible.

With Jawn back to giving instructions, Emerath faded back into the crowd a bit as everyone began to move this way and that. But he wasn't given any time to idle, as a woman he had recognized from a long time previous discussion came out of the woodworks to give Emerath a job. A magic phrase, and a set of instructions, and Emerath was grinning like a madman, as he excused himself from Jawn and the other lions to go take care of this interesting side project.

Following the woman, he found himself in front of a doorway. Ah, always doors. But this door looked to be in perfectly good condition. But, that wasn't what they were here for. The woman needed the door removed.

Emerath nodded to her, and opened up his inventory to pull out a few tools for the job. "Alright, this is going to take me a moment, but I should be able to get us inside," he explained, as he pressed a finger to his temple to allow Investigation Mode to give him a bit of a blueprints view of the door's mechanisms. It seemed like it would be easier to just take apart the lock itself, rather than focusing on the door as a whole, and so Emerath did just that.

Working quickly, Emerath began to attempt to take apart the lock that might have been hiding just what Vivian wanted. If nothing else, Emerath would probably have to do this later anyway, considering this was the Lions' new base and all that. Better sooner rather than later.

  9. Location Outside

Eryl did exactly as she promised and wrapped the top-heavy woman’s wounds. Her fingers worked quickly and efficiently as the gauze went around and around the infected area. She tried to ignore the fact that there were a pair of ample goods right near her face, but Eryl would have been lying if she said she wasn’t even a little distracted by them. Cause boobs after all. The redhead knew this kind of wound was far outside of her league so she couldn’t fully treat it but she could stave it off from getting worse.

“I recommend you go see a stronger healer than I to get this treated,” Eryl said sitting back. She brushed some of her bangs behind her ear as she spoke. “And drink that potion. Or don’t. I’m not your mother.”

As the violet-haired female walked away, oozing seduction Eryl caught her name with investigation mode. Vivian. That was good to know.

Pushing off a nearby rock, Eryl’s attention turned to one of Vivian’s companions, a dark haired male with rather pale skin. He had been scuffed up pretty bad too.

Wordless, Eryl pulled out a small metal jar from her satchel. As she unscrewed it a smell like some sort of flower concoction that was a mix of sweet and rancid filled the surround area. She dipped her two fingers in it, covering them in some slimy green substance intermixed with yellow globs in it. Her fingers slapped the substance on his wounded arms.

“You look pretty banged up,” she commented, pulling more of the substance from her small jar and applying it. She leaned in close, examining his wounds with hard brown eyes as she worked. Her top-heavy side swayed slightly at the motion. “Both of you. Pretty messed up stuff. Care to explain what happened?”

  10. Location Throne Room

At some point Alric had wandered out of his room and rejoined the others in the throne room, only to find a lot of activity as not only had Zeus been brought back to them barely alive but now the impressive fortress was under Pride ownership. It had been an eventful day to put it mildly, but the man had figured things wouldn't be over so easily.

His body still ached from the battle, so he wasn't in much of a mood to do any manual labor. Instead he would observe for now, so after equipping his new coat he moved to lean against one of the walls; his eyes carefully scanning the others the whole time as they planned their next moves.

“I wonder what we're gonna do about the monster in the basement…” He mumbled.

  11. Location Throne Room

With so many people tending to Zeus Vina wasn't sure whether to be worried or not. They definitely had enough people with helpful skills and abilities, so now they'd just have to make sure they didn't hinder each other or push Zeus too far in his weakened condition... It was honestly a relief when Jawn got annoyed and took charge, instructing all of them on how to help ensure that Zeus would survive. With him telling Vina to keep doing what she was already doing the druidess nodded and kept channeling her magic into her soft singing, buffing everyone around her to keep Zeus healthy and stable while the rest accepted the challenge of actually curing him.

Once Jawn's guidance together with their skills had done its job, their leader's life saved, the white-haired vixen sighed with relief, smiling happily as she stopped singing and relaxed. It was good to know that Zeus would be fine, even if his arm wouldn't grow back. Well, it was better to lose an arm than to lose your life, and with how upbeat and strong Zeus was Vina was sure he'd be able to do just fine without an arm... Although she wasn't sure if it would be a good idea for him to continue fighting with only one arm left.

The news that this fort now belonged to the Lions was... well, surprising. It was good news, certainly, but they'd have to put in a lot of effort cleaning it up after everything that had transpired in here. The druidess scratched her head as she thought about what they would have to do about the monster in the waters down below, but then shrugged. They could think of that later on, since she didn't think it would be a threat as long as nobody got near. However she did approach Jawn (@Raid Master) about another matter.

"If this fortress now belongs to the Lion's Pride wouldn't it be better to find a bedroom for Zeus here? We have plenty of healers here, and with how close he was to death I don't think we should risk getting caught in another snowstorm while bringing him back to Vintergard."

She also gave @Ilya a bright and warm smile, sharing her joy at the fact that Zeus would live and that they had earned this fort, and gratitude for her aid in saving Zeus's life. She even went so far as to pull the lioness up and hug her, wrapping her tail around the golden-haired woman's legs during the cheerful hug before letting go and kissing her on the cheek. "Thank you for your hard work Ilya."

  12. Location Throne Room

Ultimately they managed to stabilize the Pride's father figure, but their next course of action would be to get the man back to Vintergard alive. To that end, multiple players had already begun to restock the wagons with the yield of their raid. Astorean goods, supplies, and treasures that the bandits had raided over the past several seasons trudged past him in the arms of the dutiful, but Kijin felt his part in the whole ordeal had long since played out.

His eyes rested on the peaceful, yet ravaged titan whose children doted over him. A bloodied stump replaced his arm, and the players who vaunted him above all else- who were not actively issuing orders- tended to him laboriously. With their efforts, he would hopefully last the night.

He did have one matter, though, that still weighed on him heavily. In that instant where his memories and the system joined forces to tear at his psyche, he had given himself over to passion, rage, and sorrow. All of that unloaded on someone who did not deserve it, and when he saw @Magdalyn walking past, he called out to her.

"Hey..." he began, his voice far less stern than normal. "About earlier-"

The trip topside was long and tiring--doubly so, considering that the poor woman was practically falling apart.

Her body weary from the poison and skin tingling as the remnants of her nature magic tried to stitch her back together, she ripped out the last of the venomous spikes from her shoulder as she reached the top of the stairwell. Man, was she happy she made it all the way back to the castle without collapsing.

Leaning against the cold stone of the wall to catch her breath and regain some energy, Madison listened to the commotion that overtook the Bandit King's castle--or former Bandit King's former castle, as it turned out.

While the Aristocracy goons were underground, a massive battle had waged itself in these very halls. Ol' Burger King was dead (as he probably deserved, for being an unhelpful ass) and the Zeus's Magnificent Scrappy Heroic Adventure Time Jam Band claimed ownership of the joint.

Fine by her; she had no stake in any of this.

But a small knot formed in her stomach. Surely their employers were going to hear about this turn of events. From what she heard about the Aristocracy, there was very little forgiveness for failure.

Madison suddenly had the image of being killed and spawn-camped by a group of basement-dwellers burned into the back of her mind. For feck's sake, she just started this stupid game. The last thing she wanted was to go through the character creation process and be dropped in Brisshal with absolutely nothing again.

She sighed heavily, lightly knocking the back of her skull against the stonework of the castle. Had she the energy to punch something, she would've done that as well.

After taking a moment to collect herself, the cursemage made her way through the castle. She heard talk about the rag wrapped around Zeus's stump of an arm being poisoned, but Muscle Mountain's condition was stabilizing and he was getting rest. As she sulked around, she caught sight of a few members of her group milling about.

Oh, good, they haven't killed any of us yet.

Wouldn't be too hard anyway, considering the hell they went through fighting the Queen Ant.

Madison wasn't quite sure what anyone was going to do once they noticed her, but they all looked a little too busy to begin with; either attending to Zeus or ransacking the place, whichever they found more interesting.

And hey, if other people were swiping shit, why couldn't she?

So, Madison set about to check the castle out room by room to see if anything caught her fancy.

"...It's cold out here." Haru voices what was completely and plainly obvious to him and anyone who was around. Which, at the moment, was nobody. Everyone outside was loading supplies at a place that wasn't this dreadful corner full of bad memories. Haru himself never found the place too pleasant after the hour which the king was slain here, and so he wasn't exactly sure why he was so driven to come here.

If he were to pin it down, it would probably be because he felt like he had nothing he could do. With Zeus stabilized, Haru had decided to take his leave. Though his field of research encroaches on the practice of a doctor he could never dare to call himself one. The last thing he could say he was able to help with was no longer needed as well- the turmoil in the man's soul had long been banished. It was shocking as to how strong Zeus was in Haru's eyes. Finding that he could well leave the titan of a man in the care of Jawn and Bradwynne, Haru departs the makeshift medical ward. He had hardly done much to help the man out, anyway.

Haru had plodded outside to find a few people already beginning to load the first supplies up to return to the people. While he felt proud for the folk that put themselves to work from the get go, he couldn't bring himself to immediately push himself to do the same. He was on the weak side of the strength scale of people here and refused to push himself the way he did a few hours ago ever again. Besides, he had a destination in mind to go to first.

Namely, this corner in the battlegrounds from where they all first came. All the way out here, the snowfall and white land practically merged with him. Once he was done here he would help the others, but Haru's curiosity came first at all times. He speaks softly while looking around, "Yo. Are you still here? Surely someone determined as you would at least linger around." Standing next to the looted corpse of a man once great to many unscrupulous folk, Haru calls out in this empty place, looking to see if the Bandit King's spirit was still here.

As Majolica menacingly threatened the person who was or wasn't some kind of assassin, she noticed someone else that looked suspicious. Taking a few steps back, The Grand Witch calmed herself, pointed at @Endilix Takagi and spoke.

"Hehehe, I don't have time for this. Anytime I want to question you, hehehe, I can find you! I'm the Grand Witch and my magic is very powerful, hehehe, so do not doubt for one instant that if I wanted to, I could track you down form anywhere! Hehehe, Remember that the next time you get mixed up in or hear something about a plot that threatens the Grand Witch's guild! Hehehe..."

With that, Majolica turned to follow someone else. You see, as this was a fairly typical fantasy game, it honestly wasn't that hard to identify people that were probably on the wrong side of the law. All black get up, dark makeup and/or hair, overly revealing clothing, and basically, anyone that looked like a dark wizard or a witch.

That being said, being a Grand Witch was different, obviously, thought Majolica as she snickered to herself. Grand Witches were chaotic neutral and very powerful. As such, Majolica was a dark hero which was much cooler than being a villain anyway... hehehe.

With that frame of mind, it was easy to understand why when Majolica happened to see @Madison Freebird exploring the keep, she thought it would be best to follow her. She hadn't noticed this person in the caravan, just like she hadn't the other one she had just finished with.

Hehehe, where did these people come from? I would have noticed these people if I saw them when we left... hehe. Maybe one of them is the assassin! Hehehe, or maybe all of them are! Or none of them... hehe. Hehehe! Either way, there's an assassin on the loose and people needed to be questioned! As the Witch Ops Commander, hehe, it's my job to do the questioning! After all, hehehe the Witch Ops' main duty is to snuff out all the evil in the land! Hehehe, evil deeds will not go unpunished! Hehehe!
