_____Silence, complete and true soundlessness swept over her frame while index, middle, and thumb carefully drew back an arrow and she locked sight on her target. After her rebellion against the Shadow order she was left without her usual funds and had to look to get her gold elsewhere. It was also not so enjoyable to be hunted by both the other members of her class in the order, and the occasional Order member of higher classes seeking her out. Although it was better then getting flat out killed by the members of the order in real life, her thoughts fading as her target began to move.

_____Afternoon spring winds cut eastbound across the small figure’s frame as she kept her arrow ready and adjusted with the new change of location and the direction of the wind and speed in mind. The bushes and trees so far doing well to cover Nyx’s location from the Grey Orc in her sights and his small group of friends some distance behind him. He was likely the scout or patrol for the group and at current her job was to remove the orc presence in this area for pay and she would aim to do just that.

_____Slowly and faintly the girl exhaled, her fingers tightening around arrow and bow before she released, her eyes blinking in the moments as the arrow traveled and the first sound was the discomforting splurch as the jagged tipped poison arrow found it’s mark before the Orc howled in pain and surprise. Nyx’s first view as she opened her eyes was the approaching orc who clearly wanted her dead more than he would have if she simply approach him directly. Her tongue Clicking in annoyance at how easily one could track an arrow back to the shooter, and how the wind made her arrow sail outside the vital wound target spot she picked.

_____Moving bow to hook over her shoulder Nyx jumped backwards narrowly dodging the large club of her target, the bush and her previous location crushed by the strength of the monster but it’s gaze still set on Nyx as she back stepped and moved her hands around in her sleeves to gather her less damaging weapons. Watching the Orc slowly peel his weapon back to his shoulder Nyx clicked her tongue before quickly waving her sleeve and throwing two daggers at the monster.

_____A greater level of frustration building in her mind as the Orc moved his club to block the knives in the wooden weapon before he began to charge at a faster speed then Nyx would be able to escape. Arms moving to her right side to brace as the club connected with her frame and pressed her to the left before she was taken off the ground and sent flying into a tree, a dissatisfying crack from both sides of her body as she fell to the ground coughing blood. Eyes flared with rage as the Orc lumbered over.

”Damn it… Here I survive this long… just to die to some game generated creature… and because I misjudged… the amount of poison to bring it down… and stupid luck…”

_____Crimson eyes looking up as Nyx struggled to least sit up rather then allow herself to die laying down, blood dripping from her mouth as the Orc loomed over her pulling his weapon up ready to finish her off. Then his grip loosened, the weapon falling behind him before the orc started coughing and stumbled backwards holding his chest clawing away at the arrow. Nyx slowly grinning as she struggled to her feet holding her likely broken ribs with one arm while the other hung idle at her side unresponsive.

_____Stepping closer as the Orc stumbled backwards again and began coughing blood, his eyes looking down at Nyx who could only smile despite the pain she was in. It was the first time she stayed to watch her handiwork, rather still be there when it was working on pray such as this. Her eyes glowing with intrigue as the orc fell backwards, his chest slowly stopped moving and his eyes left open showing the last moments of pain and the glow that left his eyes.

_____Moving closer Nyx looked down on the fallen Orc, a smirk growing on her face as she reached for his club and dragged it behind her and climbed onto his chest. Hand tightening around the club and struggling to lift it before she slammed it against the Orc’s face. Her first strike not leaving much mark or truely needed but once again striking the dead out of built up anger. A third strike, fourth strike, and after five little resulted strikes with the heavy club she simply dropped it and began slamming her fist to the carcass’ face.

”Never… Underestimate… ME! … EVER! ...YOU!... STUPID!... ...GAME!”

_____Each small pause in her shouted words filling the air with the sound of her fist bashing against the Orc’s skull over and over, the needless assault doing more harm to her own body then anything else but she was none the wiser until she stopped. Eyes looking down at the bloody knuckles and torn flesh of her frail hands, a small laugh breaking her silence as she slid off the Orc and held her side again while staggering forward.

”One down… seven more to go…”

_____Three maybe more broken ribs, a broken arm, and busted and shaking fingers yet she was still moving towards the remaining threats. This was a job she fully planned to finish, it would be against everything she was taught to leave a job unfinished. Frame stumbling towards a tree as she fell down coughing up more blood. Seeming to have some internal bleeding but ignoring it as she rose once more and kept walking forward.

  2. A rumbling of a stomach was heard while Bradwynne was walking away from a village within Astorea. Life being a wanted man within Vintergard was hard for him, and this village was quite poor as the price of commodities were astronomical that it was crazy. Even that piece of bread was priced so heavily that he could buy a Rare piece of equipment with the amount of money that was sought. Hell he wanted out of here. But as he had heard the predicament of the village, that they could not trade or plant while a camp of orcs was there and would attack the village whenever possible. Fortunately they offer a good amount of food whenever a scalp of an orc was presented, and Bradwynne, hearing that, seethed with anger on those orcs who tried to derail his eating schedule. So scalps of orcs for food, eh? Well those orcs would have a hard time in their hands. They could mess with guards. They could mess with a whole village. But they should think twice before messing with a VERY HUNGRY BRADWYNNE LAMBERT.

His katana always ready for a hunt, he moved to the orc camp nearby. They should pay for screwing him over by attacking the village where he stayed at the moment for food. And more importantly, he had to claim their scalps so that he could have something to eat later. Logically he should kill first the scouts as soundlessly as possible, so that he could have enough food for him not to expend energy that much. Then he would attack the main camp for the revenge on the missed meal. Yeah that should be the plan. Bradwynne then searched for a scout to kill, for one decent meal.

As he was searching for a target, he noticed a fight going on... no it was a massacre. The other party was certainly a ranged attacker, and her opponents were a number of orcs. Certainly if she could keep her range, it should be easy. But once the orcs would close in on her, if she had no melee skills, it is game over. And it was certainly happening then, as he saw the woman getting mauled by the clubs of the orcs. Well the woman certainly needed help, she would not survive in that close of a range. And that number of orcs should mean a buffet for him. Certainly he would not want to miss the opportunity.

He then started to mutter a prayer with his rosary in his left hand, while moving his right hand towards his katana as he moved quickly but soundlessly towards the battle. It should be hard for the diminutive woman to move about with all those injuries, and so he had to give a first aid so that she could move about. As he had finished the prayer with a "So I pray," a light started to envelop the woman, which should confuse the orcs as he moved quickly, unsheathing his katana, and dealt a chopping stab towards an orc, right through the heart.

As the orc would fall, the man clothed in white should appear at the front of the woman, who said "And that is why ranged attackers should be accompanied by melee fighters..." He had hardly finished his sentence when another orc tried to bludgeon him. He had evaded with a quick sidestep, while saying, "Hey it's bad manners to interrupt a conversation! Anyways..." He then dealt a kesa-giri slash towards the orc, which was split diagonally in halves. "Too slow!" And then another orc tried to swing at him, which he evaded by a quick kick backwards, but he met another orc swinging sideways, which he quickly ducked, and then he thrust his katana towards his back where he knew the orc was there. Knowing that it should not be enough, he quickly retracted the katana, and then with a quick kick, vaulted himself towards the first orc. "Too slow too slow too slow!" He then laughed confidently as he charged towards the orc, which tried to swing his club towards hin. But he quickly evaded with a side-step and took a slash on the orc, but it was not enough to fell it down. But as he was travelling sideways, he met a third orc which swung its club towards him, which he evaded by a backflip. He then said towards the woman, "Hey, need help over here, they're playing whack-a-Bradwynne on me! Can't keep it up forever!"

  3. Taking time to rest in open area of the game was dangerous. For a relatively new player like Jasper, the danger was almost doubled. He did not pay that attention to the tutorial instructions and decided to explore the world, as soon as he could. Getting lost no less than nine times. Aggroing a lot of different monsters and creatures. Some creatures were easier to kill like some wild boar he came across. Others like a really large anaconda type creature he failed to identify, he knew to avoid as best as he could. Jasper found himself not too far from the Village of Astorea. Taking a bit of time to rest and set up a trap for a meal.

Blowing winds made it really difficult to set up the trap. Jasper wanted to blame the wind when his trap making skills are just nonexistent. He could feel already that the difficulty for this game was a bit high. His tail went from a rested state and his ears perked up. Jasper felt the change in the forest as well. Spending so much time running from dangerous creatures. He knew how to tell that a fight was breaking out. Well, a fight or a very dangerous monster was nearby. The signs were apparent when one pays attention. The insects and birds all became silent. Jasper could hear the eerie calm as if the forest was holding in a breath.

To check it out or not to check it out

That was the prevalent thought going through his head. On one hand, being the noob that he is and blindly running away, would most likely save himself. The other hand, even if he could not fight the danger, if he got a report and helped prepare the village for it. Maybe they would give him a reward for his services. He took a moment to weigh the pros and cons before running to the source. The brief run dropping his energy meter quickly. Being underpowered sucked, as Jasper started to feel winded.

A fight was actually going on. Jasper could see a feminine type of figure fighting an overgrown pig type monster. If his memory served correctly they were called Orcs. This orc appeared to be overpowering her. Believing it to be better to hide and support her when he got the chance. Jasper shakily climbed up the nearest tree. Currently, he only had one spell memorized and he could only say it when he concentrated. Not that it would help her situation much. Jasper opened his mouth to start saying the spell. When a ray of light and a man appeared at the same time.

Instead of fighting with people he did not know and risked getting killed in a high-level fight. Jasper decided it was better to watch and give out assistance as needed. By observing he may even be able to learn a few things. The wind whispered through the trees bringing a terrible stench with it. Turning his head towards the source of the close musk. Jasper noticed an orc archer clumsily readying an arrow. His heart sped up as he wanted to stop the duo from getting skewered from the hidden danger. Muttering the spell as fast and as best as he could, Jasper felt the energy drain from his body, as it failed. It was his fault as he did not pronounce it right. The orc managed to get the shot off and Jasper watched as it missed by a wide margin. The beast may have been more clumsy than he was. Jasper opened up the menu this time and scrolled like a life depended on it. He found the spell he was trying to say and clicked. The words tumbling from his mouth more loudly than he wished. Alerting the orc to his presence.

    “Mtego na mtego”

The last of the spell flowed from his lips before the orc can shoot. The branch the beast was on sprouted tendrils of green, that wrapped itself around the orc. Jasper peaked at his energy levels between not fully recovering from the fun and the spells he used just now. His energy was almost halfway gone. The orc struggled in the green wrappings. Not sure how long it would last. Jasper got out the tree. Believing the duo would be a safer space than the orc that already noticed him. Jasper doubted he could come remotely close to taking them head-on. His best bet would be to help them out. The lady looked like she had a bow. A tied up orc should not be too much for her.

“I hope you do not mind if I step in as well.” Wanting to look cool Jasper tried throwing a punch upon entering, at the club swinging orc. Instead, he missed, tripping over a root, that kept the branch from smashing his furry skull in. His expressionless face did not show the embarrassment he felt. His tail hanging low and the flattening of his ear, on the other hand, may have given him away."I may not be great at combat but three fighters are better than one. Quick heads up to the tied up orc archer in that tree there. You may want to shoot and kill it if you can. Before it gets loose." Jasper pointed to the tree that he left orc in with one hand. While keeping an eye on the clubber orc in front of him.

  4. He was finally ready to step foot in, for as the tutorial was quite simple, in his experience anyways. Trying explore the open environment he was around just rather mean't pain or death, neither of what Endo wanted if he was just starting out. He was just going to take it slow, like he knew how to do. Taking one step at a time, roaming the forest wouldn't half as bad. While he was walking he did see a monster or two. Some freaked him out, more of them fascinating but to be honest he didn't have the time to just sit around, he wanted to get into the action.

That was probably the reason why he started to explore the world in the first place. He wanted to do something daring, and at the minimum just make a friend or two that would make his experience more enjoyable. But at this rate, he wasn't going to find anyone, if he just wondered, finding a creature every once in a while.

But then, he started to feel something. Something indescribable to him, that he couldn't just say and everyone got what he meant. It was almost like the sense of danger, if thats how he would describe it in anyway. He started to walk slighty fast to where he thought the danger was coming from. He could feel himself get tired just from that. He started walk a faster pace, turning into more of a jog than a walk. And at last he had found what he was looking for.

This "action" was the least of the amount of combat scenarios he could think of at anytime. He thought it was a little weird to see this, but it is a videogame after all. But what he did see was quite interesting to see, for this was the first time he had seen something like this, except in medieval games.

He saw the hugh, fangs in teeth monster, or otherwise known as orcs, which kind of scared him a little. He knew one hit from him, he would be dead for sure. Or anyone at this matter. From the looks of it, everyone here looked experienced enough to take out about one or even three of these creatures. In the distance he did see a man on the ground, about a few feet away from him.

He saw the man trip and fall, which must've hurt. He looked like he take care of one of these things by himself, for sure. And then he saw the orc. Club in hand, the orc started to come near the man on the ground. nd Endo had two options. He could rather leave, and forget that this never happened ever, or help the man on the ground. If he wanted to go anywhere in this game, than option 2 was the best option to go with.

He started to sprint over to him, grabbing a fairly large, pointy tipped stick and started to run around the the back of the orc. The orc didn't notice Endo while he planning his attack. He was behind him ready to strike. He threw the pointy tipped stick at the orc, and surprisingly it did a little damage, bad news, it didn't do enough to kill him. The orc turned around, facing Endo. And Endo was scared out of his mind. He ran almost tripping on his feet and stumbling to the ground trying to crawl away. In the distance, he saw an orc tied up to a tree, almost about to get loose. He was certainly gonna die for sure. "Hey! Anybody? help?!"

_____The job had turned from a simple assassination task into babysitting a bunch of want to be heros. Growling loudly as she quickly swiped her arm across the air and three knives sailed into the ensnared orc, one for each eye and the last into the nose. Each done so little bone could stop the momentum and great chance to impale the brain of the monster. Muscles screaming out as her arm fell numb back at her side and she growled. The two would just have to fend for themselves, they got into this mess and it was not her job or care to save them.

_____Quickly rushing towards a tree and doing her best to run up it long enough to flip, her sleeves clicking as metal began to fall and she used her mouth to catch what she could and began spitting needles at one of the Orcs with keep aim for his eyes to blind him. Not long after Nyx slowed to a halt and began coughing blood and green liquid from the effect of her own poison coated needles. Frame falling to her knees as she struggled to stay up.

_____She was not going to give up, broken or unresponsive arm, poisoned blood, none of that was going to stop her fully if she had any say as Nyx quickly lowered her head to pick up knife and slashed an approaching Orc as it tried to attack her while rolling from the club’s smashing point. Her arms would recover later, but at the moment it was still a decent struggle that while unwilling show the two newer plays not to give up.

  6. As another person moved forward to attack one of the orcs that was battling Bradwynne, he did not say a word. This should be crucial. If the orc would move away from him and attack the newcomer, that would be a perfect chance to kill it. But first he would have to move away from these four other orcs that were trying to whack him. As one of those orcs tried to smash Bradwynne with a downward stroke, Bradwynne responded with a back stride, so that he would be nearer to his target, which was still looking at him. "Come on," Bradwynne muttered, hoping that the newcomer would attack the orc. All right, he would throw a punch. Hopefully the orc would turn away towards him. "Come on, hit the bastard," Bradwynne muttered again, while the punch was inching closer to the orc... when suddenly a root tripped the newcomer, stumbling him, and the punch did not connect to the orc, which was still staring towards him, and was about to hit him squarely downward.

"Oh damn," Bradwynne muttered as he saw the downward hit. His momentum was too strong for him to stop moving before the hit would connect. The only thing he could do was to move faster backward and let the katana slash the orc from the momentum of his movement. And so, kicking his foot again, Bradwynne strode towards the orc slightly towards his left and mostly backward, and the orc tried to bash his head in with its club. Fortunately the club just glanced towards his head as he moved backward, his katana being held sideways. If his stride was just a few milliseconds too late, he would have his head smashed right in. The katana then sliced cleanly through the body of the orc, and, with the former slash, disemboweled it, and it fell to the ground. He then stared at the orc, and then said, "Whew, if I was too late, I would later have a huge headache... wait that rhymes. Oh well, so let's see..." He then turned towards the sprawled caenis, and then said, "Yeah, three are better than two, so...let's ride?" As he was just finished talking, another orc came towards him, and was about to smash his skull when some darts flew towards its eyes, blinding it. As it was screaming in pain, Bradwynne instantly delivered a decapitating slash towards it. "Shush you, too noisy." As the head of the orc rolled towards the ground, another orc which was charging towards him tripped on the head of the decapitated orc, and as Bradwynne saw this, he instantly moved towards the orc and issued another kesa-giri, and the lower half of the orc went down before the upper half which landed on the lower half. "It is bad manners to step on one's food stub, you dingo." After his vision was obscured by the two halves of the orc falling towards the ground, he then saw two people being manhandled by another orc in the distance. He then looked at the caenis and then said, "I'm doing fine here. You better help the two people there, while I assist the ailing kunoichi here." He then moved towards the woman, who was battling another orc, and then said, the blunt part of his katana resting on his neck, "You know, you should be gentle on a lady." He then slashed at the orc, which should turn towards him angrily.

  7. Growing up in a strictly religious home that frowned upon violence. It gave a sheltered view to a character that should be used to this. At the current moment, Jasper was fighting an urge to empty the contents of his virtual stomach. Such violence and gore could only give a game like this a rated M for mature. The data that he was processing was to high spec. The metallic scent of blood felt very real. This was one of the game traits he was not fully adjusted to. Just watching the chattering swordsman deal with the other orcs almost made him doubt the creatures were a bunch of data.

Being lost in thought while in the midst of battle has always been dangerous. If Jasper had been attacked while contemplating the nuances of existence, and wondering if this game was the real world, his character would have already flown to the respawn point. A regular person would have a hard time keeping up at any point. Even in thought, Jasper was able to keep some level of the current group that was fighting. Not knowing their actual names Jasper found it easier to give them nicknames in his head. He had Mr.Chatter the holy healy swordsman, the Bleeding Ninja that started the fight Madame Bloodpaint, and a person that Jasper can only guess at to be another new player. His mind dubbed him Seńior Meat Shield.

Jasper fully came back into his body as he heard Mr.Chatter giving him an order. His tail flicked in irritation as he started to move. What he wanted to tell him was “do not tell me what to do!” Still, he started running, listening to the order without really knowing why he was doing it. Jasper just believed it was in his nature to help people, not that he wanted to play the hero. Magic felt too inconsistent at the moment to keep the orc slaughter at bay. Jasper did not have enough time to look up the spells in the assist mode. Nor did he believe he can recite the spell at the top of his head in his current predicament. The best thing to do in his book was to ram the pig men as if he was a prop in a Miley Cyrus video. His body becoming a moving wrecking ball.

He rolled into the Orcs and toppled them. The club of the first smashing into the side of the other one. It was a crude move that Jasper could only hope no one paid attention too. On the other hand, the move managed to get some results in. Seńior Meat Shield should not be in immediate danger as is. The only issue Jasper had to deal with, was fighting the downed creatures. The best thing he knew how to do was kick repeatedly. If orcs actually knew fighting techniques this would not be as effective. “I guess I only believed you guys to be stronger than you look,” Jasper spoke as the next kick he aimed right for the eye. The whistling noise was the only indicator he had to sit on his butt. The club barely avoided his head. While he was using one of the orcs he downed as a kickboxing bag. The other managed to grasp the club to throw at him.

  8. At least he's not going to die at this rate. The orc that was focused on him was now focused on someone else. Good, that gave him some time to process what had happened. His head was scrambling on trying to think on what was happening. He leaned up against a tree and watched for a while as the man who had saved him toppled and pushed over some orcs that seemed hostile. The other man and lady were out of sight for him, for his tunnel vision only focused on the man who was tripping orcs.

He finally got to his senses, looking towards the man kicking the orc in its eye. Interesting, using that technique though it didn't look like it was doing much. He might as well help out with. His laziness impulse was kicking in, but before he takes a nap why not get some action that he wanted.

He looked down at the ground, and saw a few meters away, was the same stick with the sharp edge. He grabbed it, and started to jog over towards the man who helped him. He saw an orc right beside him, and threw the stick towards it's head. And, like the last orc, it didn't do much. He tried to push it away, but the orc was swinging its club very violently. He knew if the someone else could he could to, so he wasn't gonna ask for help. But it would be useful at some point.

_____Nyx was very mad at this point, her temper showing in her worn out face as she coughed up more blood and began clenching her fist slowly. With her arms back up and working she quickly pulled them into her sleeve and got the antidote out first, a quick swig of the black glob to deal with her current aliment before she flicking her wrist and numerous knives poked out of her sleeve. Eyes scanning the field of battle before she stuck her tongue out and nodded before unleashing hell.

_____She started slow, a quick flick of her hand as a knife sunk into the back of the orc attacking @Endo then another with little delay between. Slowly flicking her hand more rapidly and jumping aside as an Orc tried to deal with her. Seven more Knives sailing out quickly as Nyx began spinning slowly unleashing her full arsenal of Knives, needles, and poison vials. What was clear was her sufficient lack of care if someone helping fight the orcs was caught by her attacks.

_____A clear example being two needles sailing towards both @Brad and @Jasper as Nyx kept spinning and throwing weapons. Her only sound or show of reloading her hands was a quick flick of her wrist and the sudden chime of metal against metal. In moments she would slow down having no more needles or knives to use but clearly leaving a dangerous circle of damage around her. Anyone dumb enough not to lay on the ground risked having something sticking out of them from the waist up.

”Annoying… not camp assigned to deal with… retrieve weapons, and proceed as planned…”

_____Her frame wobbling as she adjusted her focus line and then ever so slowly began reclaiming her weapons and somehow hiding all of them within her long sleeves. If anyone was still alive she would simply click her tongue, or throw something at them if they tried to speak with her. Nyx was clearly NOT someone who spoke to others or gave them something as little as a ‘thanks for saving my life.’ Hand quickly pulling a knife from a Orc’s heart as she kept focus on her retrieval.

  10. "So you are angry, eh?" Bradwynne smiled confidently as he faced the angry orc, which raised its club to whack him. Bradwynne was cleatly unfazed with the display as he continued, "Such an ungentlemanly one. But well..." The club then fell, as Bradwynne then drew another weapon, this time something that looked like the fang of a water monstrosity with one of the sides serratedly bladed, mounted as a tantou. He then shielded himself with it, and with a quick flick of the wrist, he pushed the club away from him, and then was about to decapitate the orc when suddenly he saw a knife struck beneath its neck. As it was a fatal hit, the orc fell down with a thud, but before that, a needle sailed from the direction of the orc towards him. Being shocked by the turn of events, he bent his body backwards, the needle sailing harmlessly over him. He then said under his breath, "Hey lady, you should be careful..." He then heard something popping in his right leg, and as he tried to continue the backward bend, it was getting painful, and then finally, his right leg gave way. He wondered why, since he knew he was not that straining his knees while he was bending. He then looked at his right leg, and then he knew the reason: another needle sailed though and hit him in his knee, completely severing his cruciate ligaments.

"AGH!" Bradwynne writhed in pain as he landed on the ground, trying to reach his right leg with his right hand to remove the damn needle from his knee while reciting a phrase to heal the injury with his magic. For the healing power not to overflow, he would have to assign some to this freakish ninja who was the cause of him being a cripple if he would not heal the wound quickly. As the chant was finished, light illuminated both his knee and the woman, completely healing the knee and partly healing her. He then stood up, stomped his foot so that he would know if it had fully recovered, and then tried to move towards the remaining orc that was battling the two others. It had seemed that the knee healed completely as he dashed towards the orc without a hitch, and after saying, "Surprise!", with the dagger on reverse grip and the katana on normal grip, with a spin, he cleaved through the orc, the dagger creating a very vicious gash before the gash became a full cleave with the katana, the two halves falling in different directions.

Bradwynne was panting hard as he returned the katana into its sheath. He did not sheath the dagger for obvious reasons: he had to collect the scalps of the orcs. He knew it would be messy and disgusting to do that, but a food stub is a food stub, and after the battle he was really emaciated with hunger. He then moved towards the two orcs that was dead nearby him, and with a quick swing of the dagger, he then collected their scalps. He then moved towards anywhere which had a dead orc, and then sliced their scalps off. As he moved towards the woman, he heard her words, and as he had deduced, this was not someone who could be conversed with. She was like a robot, both in her precision in killing anything in her path and her unfeeling words. Although he wanted to try to help her, he would dare think that she would not say anything.

As he counted the scalps that he had collected, he had eleven stored in his inventory, good enough for a buffet that could fill a very hungry Bradwynne and two others back at the village. He then moved towards the two and said, "You have some time for some eats? My treat."
