This 'Tyrant Witch' was sure very full of herself! Quite annoyingly so, in fact. She kept talking and talking and...? "Hey! Screw your Headphones!" But she wasn't wrong about this. Ignoring that her arms weren't even a fashion statement, those Headphones had sty- What was Seigi even thinking? The enemy! She was the enemy.

It was clear that Tyrant Witch who didn't even bother using her name wouldn't back down that easily. Alright, the crimson-hair had to do this alone. Magi seemed in no state to fi-

    "...Stop."

    "What? ME...? Tenebr-"

    "SHUT UP!"

Huh? Seigi had a slight feeling of Deja Vu for a second, before Magi...Tenebris? Wendy stood up for the martial artist? But...

    "..."

The hero just smiled in a bright fashion. The circumstances were weird, but this was kind of what she had hoped for, no? "Yeah, let's beat up this stereotypical wannabe-baddie! For our Happy End!" This would be fun, right?

Though... Raina didn't deny the seriousness of this situation. It was clear that, from what was said, this person was connected to Vermillion and Magi seemed to be in... serious trouble? They definitely couldn't fail here.

Unwrapping the rest of her bandages, or rather ending up ripping them off, her light-absorbing, dark, claws could be seen in their full glory. If there was one good thing about them it was they seemed stronger than any weapon she had. For this, she wouldn't hold back.

"Yo, Tyrant Snitch..." She was a snitch, right? Because it totally sounded like she'd totally tell this Verm person about Magi's defiance! "Ready to get beaten up by this strong, smart, red-headed hero and her greatest ally of Love and Justice? Because you better be! Well, ready or not..." It was, actually, super rare for Seigi to skip her mandatory 'Surrender-now-without-defiance-and-I-show-mercy' part. "HERE WE COME!"

First things first, Raina couldn't allow herself to do a stupid. Even without doubting her immortality, losing this battle meant so much more, just how strong was the woman really? Just inflated confidence or? Nonetheless, Seigi wouldn't lose her initiative. Thus, a clawing strike aimed at Trizzaldi's chest... .

Compared to the last time she fought an opponent, not counting the Käse Monster, Seigi had surprisingly gotten a lot stronger... and faster.

    "Tyrant Snitch...*giggle*."

Wendy's eyes closed and she smiled. She and Raina were together and fighting a enemy. They both wanted a happy end so... there was no reason to hold back. To save themselves and the rest was everything. No matter what cost, even if she had to use it for power herself. She would end the grief once and for all!

    "....Stay centered Raina-chan! Nnnagh!"

A dual blast of shots came from Wendy's Gertrud. They twisted through the air and separated and crossed the left and right sides of the chamber. Then converged into Trizzaldi just as Seigi attacked. The color of the arrows of course were dark and they reeked of a vile magic that someone like Seigi would not be too keen to fight alongside, but considering her own shadowy appendages... maybe not.

Heroine's forced to use abilities they should be shunning. That was reality.

Dark or Light, it didn't matter to Wendy anymore. If corruption gave her power that got her this far than it will get her to the ending that she wants! Her drive had returned, her hope, her desire to succeed....

    To end all suffering.

    Starting with Vermillion's.

Flipping back onto the pedestal of a one time heroine. Wendy reached out a black hand towards the fight at the entrance. Shadowy light encircled her as her mana took the shape of small purplish phantasms that looked like fairies. They danced around her as she cast. Yes... even black magic can be pretty at least to her. She would make this all work out!

    "SNITCH!?"

That was enough of that! Trizzaldi the Great would set this straight right now! Stupidredheadsmallfrypeon!

Trizzaldi swung her ultimate weapon. The Solar Tyrant to the side. It was a gift from Lady Verm for her good service all this time. She would not waste it on this meager kid! She deserved a good spanking, yes that's exactly what she'll get!

Trizzaldi back stepped as Seigi went in swinging her shadow claws, only for them to still tear into her incredibly amazingly perfect Tyrant Garb. That scum! Trizzaldi had never seen such a thing before honestly. Why did her arms look like that? It was unsettling, and the Tyrant does not like to be unsettled! Trizzaldi does all the unsettling!

A stick Trizzaldi often used to beat over Misha's head was drawn from her waste. Just then she was struck by obvious magic shots and they burned damn it! Luckily she covered herself with her cape. Tenebris was ATTACKING HER? They would both die!

Dual wielding the stick and rod Trizzaldi shouted with annoyed fury!

"How dare you! BOW DOWN before TRIZZALDI THE GREAT you fool!"

She began to slap Seigi in the face repeatedly with her lashing stick!

"Take, that and that and that and this!"

Slapping several times in succession, Trizzaldi let loose one last bash over Seigi's head. A bolt of lightening came from nowhere and struck Seigi just as it landed.

Well, well. Neither Seigi's dark claws nor Magi's arrow were really heroic, huh? Using her claws definitely felt... different. They carried a certain force that the red-haired hero had yet to get used to. Luckily for Trizaldi, it meant Seigi's last attack hadn't been effective at all - barely scratching the Tyrant Snitch.

But the battle only started, so that was okay, the key to overcoming a stronger opponent was pretty easy after all: Just become stronger.

Maybe, the crimson-hair was supposed to count herself lucky as Trizzaldi decided to use some sort of beating(?) stick over the actual, scary, looking weapon. "Aaaahhh!" Left. Right. Left. Right. Left. Right. Left. Right. Over and over again. Just how much could this stupid stick hurt?!

With each slap, the pain intensified. More and more until... "FUCK!" The girl cried out as a bash onto the top of her head was supposed to finish it.

    "AAAAAHHHHH!"

Followed by a lightning strike. Seigi wasn't cool enough to muffle her screams and take away that kind of pleasure from Trizzaldi's ears. Being struck by lightning, really, really hurt. All the muscles in her body stopped listening for a second. Not even allowed to curse, the only thought going through Seigi's mind was the pain.

Then, everything eased up and Seigi could feel how her legs were giving in. Could feel how she was about to, literally, kneel down. But... no. No. No. No. Never.

    "NO!"

It took more than just Guts and Effort to stop herself in the midst of falling to the ground. But Seigi stood firm, still standing. Not kneeling. Trizzaldi was waiting for that, didn't she? 'Bowing down' and all that.

What the hell was the red-head doing anyway? There was no place for doubts. No time to be scared. She died to poison. Died by getting turned into a pin-cushion. Died by getting her body torn-to-shreds. This... this was fucking nothing! And... it seemed difficult... that was super fuckin awesome, wasn't it?

No. She wouldn't die today. Not if it meant that Magi would fall into a pitch-black hell. She, definitely, absolutely, would not fail today. Why? Because she was absolutely convinced not to. Even the dark whispers in her head, always gnawing on her doubts, silenced down.

"Tyrant Snitch..." Seigi whispered. In a sense, Seigi should be thankful for this wake-up call. "TYRANT SNITCH TRIZZALDI! PREPARE TO GET TAKEN DOWN! Wendy, Magi! Let's give it all we've got - and even more!" Despite having said something like this just seconds ago, it had been more like testing the waters. Now, here was where the true battle started.

Seigi Ling Ling did not bow down. Instead, standing proudly once again. These unsettling claws suddenly appearing that much more dangerous all of a sudden. Were they... kinda burning? "HERE I COME!"

Digging her feet deep into the earth below, the girl used her heroic strength to jump-start herself forward with incredible speed. Arms close to her body before swinging them vertically upwards in an X-like fashion. Speaking the unholy words of her 'Skill' in all anime-fashion—

img Wendy's dark form watched as Trizzaldi held strong against their attacks. Raina then took the counterattack head on.

    Raina was getting attacked...

But that was nothing. Raina would not fall to that, not now, and even if... Wendy was not scared of something necessary like grief anymore. Nope! Because...

Remembering the words of Vermillion shortly before having Eldhi implant her with the rose. The pinkette found the answer to it now. If being a magical girl is suffering... then...

Raina was giving her strength now, as the flame haired martial artist was struck by lightning and Wendy watched.

Wendy was still doused in a dark aura, the small fairy like silhouettes of herself began to mimic her movements casting alongside her. Moving her hand in front of her, left to right in a swaying motion. Her lips tightly shut and her eyes giving off too different hues, one pink and one red. She saw Raina's pain, saw her fury for what they had to go through, saw her efforts being pushed back by Trizzaldi's flurry of strikes.

    It made her feel,...

    invigorated!

This was going to be fun!

    "̵Ent̕r̸ap̵ m̴y b̴ody̧ ĺike̴ ͏m͜y͢ he͞a̵rt͏!̕ L͘et́ ͟e͜v̢e͏ry҉o͠n͟e's ́ǵr͏ief ̵b͜e͡ ̛my ̸s͡hièl̷d͝!"

As she and the multiple silhouettes all thrust their hands into the air. A black wave expanded from below her. It flowed outward rushing past Seigi and Trizzaldi, the crumpled statues, the entire floor of the chamber. The fairies each melted like black goo into the dark mana 'carpet' that was formed Then it rose up the domed walls. Until the entire place was shut into a shell of black fluctuating mana The only light coming from the eerie aura it gave off, the flashes of the other two's attacks, and her own two glowing red eyes.

"So wrong. You are so wrong! You are not right for a good world. You're just a spreader of grief.... there are so many problems that can't be fixed and you aren't helping at all! It's so hard to just do good, so... I'll get rid of the problem! Vermy likes that right?! Quick solutions? I have a really super duper fast one for her!

A surge of purplish energy converged on Trizzaldi, AND Seigi!

However the focus seemed to be on the Tyrant Witch. Seigi just so happened to be in the cross fire of whatever hellish magic was in play here.

"You reject love and justice?! *Snicker*... fine then. Poor unfortunate soul, I will cut your chains for good !"

The rose on her chest fluttered beautifully in the darkness. She felt so much better, so much more...

"HAHAHAHAHAA! Now you see don't you peon!? Worthless wannabe! NOTHING can beat Trizzaldi the Great! My power and ambition are far beyond some wimpy kids! Want some more spankings little GIRLS?!"

Trizzaldi's smug look turned to one of disbelief as Seigi took her mighty lightning and... got right back up? Was this some joke?! Had Lady Verm somehow given them power? Tenebris would make sense for but... how did this peon get so strong?! Who trained her?! Trizzaldi had gone threw tons of work to get to where she was. No fool like this was going to oppose her!

Just like that the crazy claw girl was charging her again. Swiping with enough power to draw blow from Trizzaldi's .

"URGH! Impossible! I'm the greatest! The most powerful! The most beautiful! I can't.... no WAY!"

Trizzaldi snarled with rage. As the room grew dark from some strange spell Tenebris had used. Trizzaldi's own mental state began to grow unstable. No one was supposed to challenge her and live! No one could hold a candle to her magic! What was this.....

"....Gah! DAMN it! Tenebris you will be dragged back by your corpse's hair you little BITCH! What is this pain? ENOUGH! I will show you my power over the elemental forces of the outer planes!"

Jumping back and skidding some on the shadowy surface. She grasped her rod with both hands and her own mana of deep goldish, emitted from her body. Her mouth opened wide with each word in her rage.

"Earth Spirit! Giga's of the ancient terra of origin! Invincible Golem! Even the Earth shall obey me! Earth Guardian!"

A translucent yellowish field seemed to come and go from around her. A smug look appeared as she stuck her weapon into the floor.

"HAHAHAHAHA! I will prove I don't need that useless mush for brains Misha. I can DESTROY YOU ALL MYSELF! HAHAHAHAHA!"

Hah! That was quite the punch...claw... thing! Trizzaldi seemed, after all, more bark than bite! Now, Seigi was sure, together with Magi, with Wendy, they could-

    "Huh...?"

But suddenly, everything turned purple. It was a frightening feeling. Unsettling. As the people inside this room got gobbled up by darkness. And... it hurt. "Urgh..."

It goddamn hurt! Not as bad as the lightning... and Seigi was, most likely, not even the main target. But she was collateral damage nonetheless. Was this Magi's form of love&friendship?

"Damn, Wendy!" Seigi called out. "Didn't I tell you to kick that edgy stuff overboard?! Ain't no place for that on our ship!" A weird... metaphor, huh? And was Seigi even allowed to talk, considering her... arms?

Nonetheless, she could bring Magi back to the adorable pink ball of fluff and love after they dealt with the original intruder: The Tyrant Snitch! Who was busy... making some sort of protective barrier? Well, easy enough. Seigi just had to punch through it.

With Trizzaldi being occupied, there wasn't too much need for finesse. Just one, big, target. Just needed to punch it! This was precisely what Seigi was good at! Thus, dashing forward once again, Seigi put all her power in a single punch to...

    "NANI?!"

She let her closet-weeb slip out for a second. That's how surprised Seigi was as her fist didn't penetrate the barrier! These claws, ultimately, still seemed to be more physical than magical.

But... Seigi wasn't completely like her old self anymore either. Sure, she was reckless. Guts and Effort. Sure, she liked to punch through things. Sure, she seemed to not put too much thought into things.

    BUT!

She wasn't that stupid. Abusing the fact that Trizzaldi was too busy taunting Seigi with a shit-eating grin, the girl stomped.

She stomped her foot hard into the earth. It hurt. Just as Seigi expected, the infectious dark magic of Magi wasn't all too happy about this 'intrusion' attacking the crimson-hair's leg from every direction.

    Just as planned.
    All according to Keikaku.

Mirroring the Tyrant Snitch's grin, the Hero proceeded into a backflip kick. Her leg, engulfed by Magi's creeping darkness, cutting through the barrier like butter. A physical attack that wasn't physical. At the expense of her own health pool. But kicking Trizzaldi in her chin made it totally worth it!

img A world away from the pressures of reality. Yes, wasn't that what Terrasphere was all about from the very beginning?! That was a lie though. Even with what she knew. The one time magical girl was still unclear what the origin of this all was.

But here and now, that didn't matter.

She could make something like this with her mana... All thanks to finally becoming herself. The Wendy that needed to be. No, not even Wendy. She refused to be just Tenebris as well. She was complete but a name would be nice. Magi Heart? The true Magi Heart?

Pfft, no way. She was tired of playing that game of make believe. It was something she would throw away like everything else except what she truly wanted. Raina was something she wanted. So she could stay for now. No one else stood up for her this long. Even when they were at the risk she was in. Even knowing the pinkette might kill her at any time.

Of course she wouldn't. Not now. There was too much to do together.

The field was so nice. Just her and Raina vs the one unwanted guest. If this person only agreed to be nice. Only if they agreed to no longer strive for that ego of theirs. The corruption Vermillion surely gave them.

Trizzaldi was a corrupted girl, striving and forced to follow her insane ego. She was a victim. Like so many others. Who knows how many were being changed by those death experiences. Forced to make choices they didn't have to, forced to suffer from hunger and loss of friends in wars. Her parents too were worried sick! What about Raina's? Gee whiz, what about Trizzaldi's?!

Those poor helpless people unable to do anything. Trying to help them all was impossible. Being everyone's hero was impossible.... what Raina agreed to here with her today.

    Was to end the impossible.

    A happy ending.

    "..Mmmmmm....."

A steady feeling of power began to flow into her body. It seemed to use the rose as a conduit. It felt like drinking a hundred skittles smoothies! If she still craved them that much, which honestly she didn't. It was so addicting though! Yet, the girl who was Wendy was not going to lose her sanity. Nope, she was perfectly sane! She was going to just eat a little grief and go finish this quick for her best, dearest friend. The one who did not give up on her and ignore her disappearance and capture. Cain, Roland, Megan, Alphabet, Alonso, Gwyn, Ashiore, Bradwynne, Eldhi... they either added to her problems or just let her be.

Raina was worth keeping around. She wasn't a 'problem'.

"Alrighty then. Raina-chan! Here I gooooo!"

And she was off running. Leaping through the air and vanishing into the single shadow of this wonderful peaceful world. No wonder she kept going to Crystallized Zalra. It made sense now! She found it to be a place of refuge from the madness!

Her shoes hit the dark walls as she ran upon them in a feat of super human parkour. Flipping from the wall as she closed in over the where the two fought, she saw Seigi use the darkness of her barrier to break through Trizzaldi's shield...

Wowzwrs, Raina really did see how good these powers were, how good this place was! It was helping her!

"Time to help her even more... and end your corruption permanently Trizzaldi!"

She charged and with one strong pull of the string of Gertrude, showered the ground with arrows. The shout from Seigi earlier about edge or something was left on deaf ears. The pinkette only heard what she wanted to hear. Anything else was pointless, unimportant, mean and unwelcome!

"Dance, dance, dance, DANCING IN THE RAAAAIN! *Giggle*"

A creepy cute giggle was covered by the sound of dozens shadowy shots of black and purple peppering the area.

The light's of darkness reflecting on her shaking pink and red eyes...

As the shrimpy little wannabe made a pitiful joke of a effort to break through the invincible Earth Gaurdian shield Trizzaldi laughed and offered a shit eating grin to the extremely close fighter. The barrier seemed to time it's appearance for right when Seigi's punch would get too close to Trizzaldi. A rock like arm appeared covering Trizzaldi and Seig's fist would meet the rock with full force.

"HAHAHAHA! See? Now you get it don't you LITTLE PEON! The Tyrant Witch is invincible to your barbar-"

A foot of pure black made a perfect connection with Trizzaldi's tyrant jaw. Blood and spit flew from her mouth as her head tilted back and her body made a reverse crescent shape from the impact. That was... inconceivable! How come this wretched brat had ink legs now too! What in the world was going on today!?

Trizzaldi's eyes widened as her far back tilted head was in the perfect position to see Tenebris' flying overhead in mid leap. As well as the rain of purple death that soon followed. Did this goth dressed psycho care who she killed?! LIKE TRIZZALDI FOR INSTANCE?!

The arrows hit the Tyrant Witch rapidly. The rotting and decaying effects of the cursed shots working quickly along with the waves of pain from the barrier and the actual sharpness of the shots themselves.

Regaining her balance and pulling away with a swing of her Solar Tyrant to keep Seigi at bay.

"I-I will... *spit*... I call upon Volt of the great lightening planes! Grant my yo-"

    BAM!

    Trizzaldi stopped chanting... what was...

    BAM!! BAM!!! BAM!!!

    CRACK!!!!!!

Crack's formed in one area of the shadowy dome.

    BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The cracks gave way as a hole formed in the barrier of grief.

A bandaged fist that ironically did not belong to Seigi was seen in the dim light of the temple outside, shining into the quiet battlefield 'Wendy' had made. The rest of the figure appeared as a leg stepped into the field.

This individual did not look happy...

'M-Misha... the hell are you doing here... oh... Misha... y-y-you're...'

Trizzaldi was in shock. This was rare. Misha was really pissed off. Did that mean the stupid walking corpse actually cared if Trizzaldi lived... Trizzaldi the Great was getting pity from the DEAD?! Trizzaldi could not take it anymore. She was tired and annoyed and mentally exhausted from this challenge to her ego. If only she had that spell book... this would be nothing. ...Uuuuuurgh.

The Tyrant Witch's eyes rolled up into her head as she fell to the ground, unconscious.

"Tizzy.... you... hurt.... Tizzy.... you.... are.... evil... die... die... die... "

The Jiangshi was slow at first, barely able to walk straight. Vines were poking out of her back and her bandaged arm. Wiggling wildly. Her eyes were glowing like a car lights... car lights set on Seigi the one who was near her friend. Hunched over and creeping she growled in a deep husky voice. Her eyes setting on the dark hands of her target.

"Grrrr.... you... use... the... fist? ... Bùcuò... I... would... show... you... honor.... "

She suddenly shot up straight and clenched her fists as she gritted her teeth.

"BuT THaT IS foR ThOsE wHO STilL HAve A lifE TO CArE AbOUT!"

Leaping forward Misha pulled back her normal arm for a powerful punch.

    It was so, so fast.

    Not one punch, but many.

A chain of furious punches and kicks with the movement and speed of a martial art's master combined with the lethal agility of a undead warrior going beyond the limits of a human. Seigi would face a severe pummeling only for the last strike to be followed by a uncoiling of her bandages revealing the clean white bone of a arm wrapped in vines beneath. The bandages and vines all extended and wrapped around Seigi's waist while she reeled from the attack. Only for Misha to lift her off the ground and toss her into the large angelic statue in the back of the hall.

The bandages returned and wrapped themselves neatly over Misha's arm again. Her eyes to faded to their normal yellow as she heard a cough. Seeing Trizzaldi awake she ran over to comfort her.

"Tizzy! Tizzy! I... I... mmmm... what are you doing... on the floor? Why am I,,,mmmm,,,, here again?"

Hah! It worked. Slowly, but surely. With their combined power of not-so-much-love (but friendship!), they were slowly beating the Tyrant Snitch to a pulp!

Telling herself to not allow Trizzaldi to finish another one of her summons(?) Seigi was about to give her another heroic punch as, suddenly, her attention was drawn elsewhere. Not because she was a bad fighter, but precisely because she instinctively knew that the new challenger that approached could not be ignored.

"Huh?" The new intruder, who broke past Magi's barrier seemed quite angered indeed. The red-head could feel the hostility, yet, it allowed her to be just that much more prepa-

    [Theme]

The opposing brawler had been so damn fast that Seigi couldn't even get her guard up as the first punch connected! It hurt but it wasn't THAT bad, still pretty strong thou. Nothing Seigi could tough out with Guts and Effort and make a counter-attack! Even as Misha's fist dug into Seigi's cheek, her grin didn't disappear. This was exciting.

Oh, how wrong she had been.

Less than a tenth of a second, a second punch followed. Into a third. Into a fourth. The fifth one in form of a kick because of style. Sixth. Seventh. 8...9... the barrage continued on. While the individual punch wasn't as powerful as it could have been, they were definitely still stronger than something with that speed should be allowed to do.

This was merciless. Precise. Deadly. There was no room to catch a breather. No room for a counter-attack. This wasn't a brawl or a fight. It was simple slaughter. The difference in power apparently so great that it would be an insult to compare their fighting abilities in any way.

By the time Misha finished the living punching bag with one final attack that, obviously, was more special, Seigi was barely conscious anymore. Nonetheless... the girl with the unbroken spirit, finally free of the assault, spoke in a painful voice.

    "Guhhaaa!...Urgh.... G...God...damn... I-I... I still..."

Just to be reeled back in again to be thrown, as the actual final blow, against the fallen statue, lifeless...

    Kind of ironic, wasn't it?
Here, the statue of a hero, fallen.
Here, a pathetic little girl that dreamed of so much more, fallen.
It seemed like such an easy thing to do. It was different, yet all the same. Just... close your eyes, let go. No pain. No agony. No grief. Just... eternal peace and silence.

Yes... this was the end of the line. For her age, for just playing a mere game, Seigi had suffered enough.

    It was enough...
    She had tried hard enough...
Now, only the comfort of death awaited her...

Her Parents, Her Friends, Her two lovely Bodyguards, Her Sisters and Brothers, Alphabet, Valdrada, Cain, Magi...

    Especially Wendy...

    'WENDY DESERVES A HAPPY ENDING!'

She refused to obey the Natural Law of things.

    'I'LL... BRING FORTH A MIRACLE!'

It only made sense, didn't it? Even from a game-perspective, her UI bugged, her life-bar, never been a thing. The number 0, meaningless.

    "AAAAHHHH!!!!"

With a just slightly-distorted battle(?) cry, the supposed-to-be-dead girl rose up once again. Her body wouldn't listen. Her muscles were crying in rebellion. The amount of blood that tainted even her pitch-black arms in a deep crimson, a testament that she couldn't stand.

Yet, the fuel Seigi used was pure will-power.

Her pupils were blank. Unfocused, yet, her focus, her attention, clearer than ever. Confirming Magi to be more-or-less save. She took a step forward. Towards Trizzaldi and Misha. Her bones were creaking.

    The voices were whispering.

    "You..." She formulated some words.

Cold, dark, tempting, evil. The hunger rising...

"...won't stand..." Kind-of slurred as her tongue wouldn't listen.

    But Seigi was Justice...

    "...in our way..."

And a second whisper joined the Chorus...

    "...of our..."

    Calm, warm, soothing, loving, motherly.

    "...HAPPY END!!!!!"

The girl dashed forward, her spirit high, her fists ready, her intention clear.

For even the broken Statue Body of a Hero, their Soul was unbreakable.

  1. img The dark heart landed hard from her mid air shooting spree. Ending in a kneeling position close to the floor. For a split second she gazed into the blackness that she had made. It did not even reflect back at her. It did not do anything but what she would want it to do. To protect, to save others. Her creation was wonderful.

    CRACK!!!!!!

    What was that...?

She stood up slowly and turned to see the moment Misha's fist burst through the darkness. Her reddened eye bled a little from the shock of seeing it broken. The zombie... had ruined her protection for Raina!

That look, Misha was never like that before. Was this her true personality? Then the pinkette knew. She knew why Misha was upset, so hurt. Her friend was Trizzaldi. So...

Anger for those who have been hurt she understood very well. She felt for Misha but no way would she let Raina get attacked by her! She needed allies! She needed her best friend to live! For the Happy Ending! That was ALL that mattered!

If only she could have been fast enough, but Misha was so quick. The dark pinkette had taken too long thinking. She was still too freshly getting accustomed to being Wendy. Even if she was a completely different person in many ways, but still was born from Wendy's release during the distorted moments of her birth. That was the moment she needed. To become complete by using the hiding part of Wendy's soul and making it into herself.

Gee whiz, it actually confused her too. She was aware of how to do it but having the equivalent of Wendy's IQ and knowledge did not make understanding the details any easier. Replacing the soul with a copy that was used from the same blueprint but 'different' was the best way to view it and how she decided to see it as well.

And so, she was unable to react in time...

Her field vanished entirely as she became lost in the terror before her.

Raina's poor body was battered. She was tossed like a rag doll right before her eyes.

Eyes that were filling with a insane rage with every blow being struck upon her friend and partner. This was why... this was why she existed. Why Wendy had the spark that made her in particular, unlike what many may suspect.... she wanted what was best for everyone.... and they were going to get what they needed even if they didn't ask for it!

The crash may have caused her to wince once but not now. She was so close to just going to a rampage and letting out all that pent up frustration Vermillion had left Wendy and Tenebris with. It remained in her... and now she could display it properly!

"Tizzy! Tizzy! I... I... mmmm... what are you doing... on the floor? Why am I,,,mmmm,,,, here again?"

She was being ignored. This was her chance but... was Raina even alive? She had to know first. She had to retain control even with the mad rage that she felt. Both eyes shaking and blood flowing freely from her eye as she gritted her teeth. She would remove these problems later with all of her grief. Yet for now, she turned and ran to her friend's side.

    Ironically, like a heroine should.

'Wendy' did not hesitate to run right for the place Raina crash landed, but before she made even a few steps...

    "AAAAHHHH!!!!"

She smiled slyly, Raina did not disappoint her promise.

Then she realized what was happening...

img "Urgh... M-Misha what are you.. oh.. oh nooooo. This isn't real. I REFUSE! I was NOT beaten this badly by losers like THAT! Wait... I KILLED HER RIGHT?! HAHAHAHAHA! Of course!"

Trizzaldi rose and dusted herself off. Blood spotted all over her. Her eyes set on Tenebris, before switching to Misha.

"Tizzy... mmm... why were you on the floor, why was this place... um, was it darker before? Mmmm... can we go get a snack? I'm... mmm... hungry...."

Trizzaldi slapped Misha on the head.

"Fool, I never needed you to come! I am invincible! Now... about YOU Tenebris!"

The scream resounded. A scream of rejection. A scream of conviction. A scream of someone Trizzaldi wanted dead very badly...

    "AAAAHHHH!!!!"

Misha's eyes widened as if she had no idea what was happening. Trizzaldi's jaw dropped as her horror was realized...

    "You..."

This was impossible. It was just so silly. Really.

    "...won't stand..."

Trizzaldi pushed Misha aside like the peon she was and stepped forward still unable to believe it. It just couldn't BE!

    "...in our way..."

The peon... that puny red headed worm...

    "...of our..."

Trizzaldi grasped her staff in both hands. Her ego and her rage about to build to a peak.

    "...HAPPY END!!!!!"

    LIVES?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trizzaldi was so close... to just...

"Tizzy? Tizzy? Who is that person? Wait... mmmm... didn't I hit her?"

Raina, even in this state, charged with all she had. As if she had some hidden power just like the silly fantasies she and Wendy watched and cosplayed. Wendy's replacement was happy to see her alive.

    "STOP RAINA!"

'Wendy' leaped onto Raina from the side and the two toppled to the floor. The smaller girl was in no way stronger physically than the martial artist. Surely not with how Raina was raging either. Still she needed to try and stop her. She needed Raina alive until the Happy End. The promise had to be fulfilled! She sat on top of her stomach and held her down by the wrists. It took all her strength to do this for even a few seconds. Seconds she would use.

"Stop it! damn it, Now YOU cut out the EDGE!"

'Wendy' slapped her in the face as hard as she could. Her heterochromia meeting Seigi's red. A small trickle of her blood fell from her eye onto Seigi's face. A smug smile for getting to say the thing Raina said twice crossed her face but quickly was replaced by a serious expression.

"Raina, wait a minute please. Let me handle this. Trust me...."

Sh raised her voice. Her words were sharp and edged but filled with praise for the Tyrant Witch.

"Tizzy-chan❤! You know how great and powerful you are! I could never beat you, and neither could this noob! I mean look at us all beat up❤. I can even hold her down she's so weak... you won. Go tell Vermy how strong you are and stuff okies?"

She glanced back to see Trizzaldi's reaction.

"W-Well... OF COURSE I'M THE BEST! She had no chance... YEAH! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"What is going on? Tene, should we go back to the manor? Should we take that girl too? ....Mmmm... um... who is she?"

"Someone I will deal with. I had to see if Tizzy-chan could handle the power we had and WOWZERS did she❤! So.. yeah I'm hopeless and have to obey Vermy. I'll kill or take her back. She might not be worth it."

She winked at Raina with her crimson eye.

Trizzaldi made a suspicious look before grabbing Misha by the collar.

"Fine. Because I am SO generous I won't mention what happened here. I have good blackmail material on you now Tenebris! HAHAHAHAHA! I WILL collect. Be quick about it. I may have you rub my feet for a month!"

    Trizzaldi spat.

"I hope you kill. I don't wanna work with that WANNABE!"

Laughing as if she had never been half beaten to death. Trizzaldi warped away with Misha in tow. 'Wendy' would let go of Raina and just sit there on her. Gazing into her eyes and not showing any expression. ...finally she would slightly part her lips.

"Hehehehe... being able to lie without guilt is nice. Wendy would have never been able to do that without me."

'Wendy' sighed and touched her rose her eyes not leaving Raina's. Now that they were alone again. She would share something important. The truth, or the truth as far as she knew anyway.

"Raina-chan. I am not Wendy. Not the one you know. I have her memories and her desires... but I am not her. That Wendy..."

She couldn't help but smile devilishly.

    [Theme]

    "Is dead."

She did her very hardest to soothe Raina as she offered that little tidbit. Running her hands over her hair and holding her chin with her other hand. She cherished this person very much. If Vermillion had treasures... then this was her treasure. Her friends were special and too precedence. With Raina being #1. Everyone else was so distant it barely even mattered, even if they did a tiny bit more than the the rest.

"I'm better though, you'll see. I will make our Happy Ending... and I need your help Raina-chan ."

She grasped both of Raina's hands together in her own and pleaded with her sinister gaze.

"Please. Tenebris would have never said please and meant it. I need you to be my partner, my friend. I will be your Wendy An Quinn and we will fix EVERYTHING. I will uphold the promise we made."

If Raina allowed her to get this far along and this event was reached by these two fate stricken girls. If this was the point of no return for one thing or another. The beginning of the next arc of their story. A story lost in the mass of other tales.

    Then she would say...

"Fight with me,. You from the outside, me from the inside! I can't fight Vermillion because of a power she holds over me. I can be your eyes and ears though. *Giggle*"

Again her giggle was not quite what Raina may remember. She still saw that 'something' in Raina awakening that reminded her of herself. She was honestly curious and excited to see that but she also liked Raina as she was. So she was torn. She decided to not bring it up. She wanted Raina to make her own decision for now... before the day came when 'Wendy' would take that away from her for her own good.

"What do you say? *Snicker* Friends till the end?"

A moment of twisted, unfair choice.

    But a choice, nevertheless.

  2. Closer, closer, closer! With every step Seigi took, rushing forward, she could feel how it became harder and harder to function. The few meters between herself and those that opposed her felt like an unmeasurable distance.

After all, Seigi was far from being a true hero, far too soon. Far too quick. Far too corrupted. Sure, Wendy and Seigi had a lot of to catch up on and a lot of common ground but, ultimately, this had only been their first, fateful, meeting after a long, long time. Simply...

    ...too soon.

Nonetheless, the Crimson-Hair decided for this. Here, and now. Because, if she were to fail again... even if she had to sacrifice herself, even if she had to let in the Darkness, even if she had to fall from a hero's path... no sacrifice was too great for Wendy's happi-

    "STOP RAINA!"

And then, Seigi got pummeled to the ground! She fought with all her entire being against this! Raged with all her will to not be constrained! Just a bit more and she would rip this.

    Raina got slapped.

Right, this wasn't Misha or Trizzaldi... but Magi... her beloved, dear, highly esteemed friend.

Raina simply listened, more-or-less, as the group of three had their small exchange. Mixed in between the whispers of Light and Darkness inside her own head, the only voice that really got through to Seigi's head was that of Wendy. She... fooled those evil doers quite nice, or something? But lying was... bad... wasn't it?

The crimson-hair shifted in and out of consciousness as the adrenaline that had taken hold in her body realized this one fight was over. The Whispers urging her to simply just say this one word slowly fading back to the bottom of her mind once again as they realized their futility.

She... did it? Somehow... right? Wendy seemed... okay. Safe? A... Happy End? Part of it, anyway?

As @Magi Heart held Seigi's head in her hands, telling her about Wendy's death. About Wendy's rebirth. The little flame that kept her alive even now regained some focus. Her blank eyes regaining life.

    ...What?...

This Wendy kept talking. How she was better, how she was different, consoling Raina for her lose(?) all-the-same. Telling her how they could keep fighting. Together. Forever.

But... she wasn't Wendy... or was she? Why did things have to be so complicated again? Wendy was Wendy... it felt... so sad...

Yes. Just as Seigi had thought a few seconds ago. They did it. Part of it anyway. Locked into it. Their Happy End, now just a question of time...

This was alright, wasn't it? This other Wendy was okay, too?

    ...
    ...
    ...

But why did it feel so wrong?
    Happy End.
    Happy End.
    Happy End.

    Such beautiful words.
    Such beautiful meaning.
    Such beautiful implications.

Over and Over, the two girls had chanted it.
Over and Over, in such a short period, they had wanted it.
    Like some sickening drug...
Like a dream that would make all their problems go away once they had it...

Holding onto a Dream with such brute force that it had to become real...
Holding onto a Dream with such force that it... cracked...

    Breaking themselves in the process...?
    Better? Worse? Broken? Improved?

    Was this truly acceptable?
Did they not lose sight of what's important?
    The end justified the means?
    The end all that mattered?
    Always focused on the here-and-now.
    Just like you preach it.

    Tell me...

    I S T H I S T H E H A P P Y E N D Y O U D E S I R E ?

    "..."

    ->Yes!
    No!

    Raina smiled.

    Yes!
    ->No!

Slowly, she reached out her own hand, gently stroking Wendy's cheek. Another small miracle considering she shouldn't even be able to move her body at all!

    ->Yes!
    No!

    "You..."

    Yes!
    >No!

    "...are all the same..."

    >Yes!
    No!

    "...Wendy, Tenebris, Magi Heart..."

    Yes!
    >No!

"...my precious, beloved, dear, friend. Even now... when you say that..."

    >Yes!
    No!

"...I'll always love you, and believe in you..."

    Yes!
    >No!

"...so, after we kicked Verm's butt..."

    >Yes!
    No!

Seigi lifted her body now up a bit, her second hand grabbing onto Magi's shoulder, who was still on top of her, as support. Getting her own face closer to Magi's, until her blood-stained forehead gently touched that of the Mahou.

    Yes!
    No!
    -->Screw You!

"...I'll save you all the same! Friends... forever."

  3. img "..."

The heterochromia 'Wendy' said nothing in response to Raina's answer. Raina had decided to help her defeat Vermillion. To do what she could not and set her free. She said friends.... forever.

    "..."

The Dark Heart had become complete within this body. Became a person instead of the murderous chaos that it was before as Tenebris. Wendy's humanity, Wendy's desires, Wendy's everything... that was what she was. Yet she wasn't good old Wendy was she? God damn it, she didn't want to be! So, this was how it was going to be from now on. Being Wendy but not that Wendy... fine.

    She was more determined!

    She was stronger!

    She was braver!

    She was who protected Raina!

Her heart that was once a writhing center of constant pain for her as Tenebris was no longer there. For whatever reason, her heart had adapted at last.

Oh she still cared. Of course she cared. She cared too much. The thing though was that she was not so soft. She could not be hurt. Not in the same way. Her heart was empty. Much like the Void orb she had grabbed not too long ago. A love that could not be rejected, that felt no remorse. Pity for the suffering and understanding yes.... but she would not be bothered by the world's problems. She was not Magi Heart. She would just do what was needed to be done.

    And therein lied the problem.

    "I see.... Raina-chan."

Pushing away from the weakened fighter but not harshly. Although the cold stare in her eyes may be more than telling of how she felt about Raina's choice. She shifted to a position to where she would be just sitting next to her best friend. The only girl that was close enough to be a sister to Wendy, and also to her.

"Saving me....gee whiz. You know how stupid you are? To pick a defunct person like that over me?"

She reached out and opened her hand in front of Raina. Her eyes set on her face unblinking. In her hand was a small stem of some plant.

"Nibble on this. Chew very slowly. It's extremely bitter. *Snicker*, you aren't someone to back down though! It'll do a little boost to your health. Just enough."

Giving it to her whether she wanted it or not. Whether another wanted help was not even a consideration. Time was short. Vermillion was going to have Overwatcher spy on her if she wasn't already. Then she would have that much more trouble. Standing up and moving away from Raina. The pinkette spoke again, looking back with a angry glare.

    "You don't appreciate me."

Her face then changed almost instantly. A small soft smile much like Wendy or Magi Heart's... until it spread a little further and became crooked. Her eyes gleamed.

    "Yet."

She stretched a little and put her hands to the hips of her dress. The smile less vile but her voice carried a sharpness very similar to what she gave Trizzaldi.

"Hehehe, for now I will accept that answer. We both want a Happy Ending so let's do it. *Giggle* You never know. You might get attached to me❤."

She winked and shrugged it off like she was not just called a shitty replacement.

Save Wendy =/= Friends Forever. Seriously.

    "Gee whiz."

    She folded her arms.

"I guess all these Wendy's will make things unnecessarily complicated. So, Don't, Call. Me. That. "

Just because she had all those things Wendy did and had the body she had did not mean that she had to go through HER life and be expected to be the exact same! It was already obvious that she couldn't be anyway so trying was not high on her list.

"Are we cool beans with that?"

She tilted her head and said it with a movement that may have been cute if she did not shift her head so quick it looked like it had snapped into that position. A tight lipped smile plastered on her face.

    @Seigi

  4. For Seigi, everything was perfectly clear.
For Wendy, it seemed incredibly rude.

Raina wanted to be a Hero. Fighting with her fists, instead of weapons, to hold onto everything dear and never let go. In a sense, the girl was incredibly greedy and selfish, running the risk of losing everything. But wasn't this exactly another essentially part? The hero, in the end, never lost!

"I... I'm not..." Raina was about to complain as Wendy forced some plant thing down her throat. Ewh! It totally tasted like medicine! The not-pink kind of medicine! Because only the pink one tasted good.

Ending her sentence in a coughing fit, the 'new' Wendy kept going on and on. The crimson-hair didn't really have any idea about her Tenebris persona to really make any comparisons though. Having met the dark girl only for a few seconds, Raina only knew Wendy and this Wendy!

The herb had quite an effect however as Seigi felt ten times more lively again! Well, not that she had been that alive, to begin with, but under complains of her bones and muscles the girl could now stand up! Even if not, she had to stand up!

Because, as notWendy kept talking and talking about appreciation and whatnot. There still was a sort of misunderstanding in the air(?).

"Urgh..." Seigi held her head with a hand as she, wobbly, set one foot in front of the next. Closer to the Magi that had distanced herself.

    "So what you're saying is..."

But was it really a misunderstanding? It made perfect sense. Seigi wanted the old Wendy back. So, obviously, she didn't like the new one! ... But... that would have been a different kind of Happy End? A different choice?

"You are Wendy but you not Wendy?"

For the girl that wanted everything she held dear, her choice was clear, and not confusing.

    "Gaaah, it's super easy!"

Seigi now cried out as she changed from her weak, slow, movements into a small sprint to give Wendynotwendy a friendly headbutt. Fresh blood dripping down once again!

"No reason to make it all complicated! You're Wendy and you're not. 'Kick the Edge out.', 'Gee whiz.', '-chan'." Seigi listed just a few things that Wendy, but not Tenebris, used to say.

"Did you even listen?!" Seigi now got louder, somehow, clearly annoyed. "HUUUHHH?!" She tried really hard to make an annoyed though guy face, though came out more comedic. Despite being on probably 2 or 5 HP the red-hair was indeed quite lively!

"I said 'You're all the same!' Even if that Tenebris -something would stab me in the heart- because that sounds like something she'd do - I'll still love you! Because Wendy is Wendy even if she isn't Wendy! Is that so hard to understand?! She lives in my heart and she lives in yours, and many others, too!"
Yeah, seriously, it made perfect sense, didn't it? No, not really.

"Friends look out for each other. And we're going to eat lots winner ice-cream once we beat up Verm! It'll be time for me to take your crown... ." Now, Seigi distanced herself a bit from Wendy. She could feel that she was leaving her behind soon, anyway... just, hopefully, not for too long.

"Don't... make it sound like everything just ends after that. Hmpf." Because that's exactly how it sounded. After reaching their 'Happy End', Wendynotwendy seemed to be ready to... do something... that Seigi wouldn't like.

  5. img "You dummy."

The pinkette shook her head but continued to smile. That selfish, yet innocent stupidity was part of Raina's charm. It was something she had too. All the talk about being heroes and helping others but they also wanted it to be done their way. That in itself was selfish considering they were doing it for others right? That sort of thing Magi Heart never even thought about. So clouded in her fantasy. Force the fantasy into reality. That was what had to happen. Even though... she did not feel a magical girl fit who she personally was. Mahou Shoujo were weak. Stuck to a path, unable to enforce what they wanted. Going against that would ruin the whole point of being one so...

That one dream of Wendy, she never picked up. You cannot idealize something so flawed. Hope also was too finicky, FORCE was better.

She didn't move as Raina distanced herself. A black glove moved to wipe away the blood slowly dripping down her right eye. This body really was falling apart. Maybe too many changes were happening. The Dark Heart was not scared of course but did wonder if there was a timer even she did not know about. Being limited to The old Wendy's knowledge and all.

If there was a time limit, she had to get to work.

"...If you see me as Wendy. I will accept that. I did say you'll get a Happy End with me. If that is your vision. Then I'm...."

She paused and her eyes fell to the floor for a split second before they remet Raina's.

"...am fine with it. I... sort of am her anyway I guess."

If it was truly time for them to depart. To split paths again and do what they could in their own worlds of black and white. Then she would at the least give her best friend a proper introduction. Sure, she was just another Wendy for Raina. But just as how Raina was Seigi. They needed to understand who they were in this place.

"Raina-chan....Onee-chan ! We are going to be here for a while so... hehehe!"

Her dark eyes sparkled in a very Magi like fashion.

"Let me tell you who I am! I'm low on time. So... I'll make it quick. It isn't good if you don't know your best friend in the whole wide world. *Snicker*"

She took one step towards Raina. A crooked smile on her face.

"I am everything Wendy wanted, made better. Do you know what she really wanted? Wowzers! Of course you do my Onee-chany Raina-chan chan of chans !"

Another step forward as she raised a finger to her chin.

"I am the perfect manifestation of Wendy's desires. Buuut... "

She shook her finger at Raina.

"I am not going to settle for being a Mahou Shojo. If you want that, gee whiz... you can carry it. I will not throw away my methods for getting things done. I am me. My own Wendy. If you care for Wendy... for me. You will respect that right? ...Raina-chan?"

Finally getting right next to Raina. The shorter girl looked up and stood on her tiptoes to look Raina extremely close in the eyes. What should she say? Did she even know who she was? Tenebris never even cared. Insane darkness tends to not to think about much. Then...

"I am...Wendel. I want to be me. To be someone who is not a replica even while I carry on her wishes."

She paused for a minute, having to think of it quickly. If she was to win over Raina and get her to forget the old Wendy forever. Then she needed to really impress upon her. Of course... forcing it would be good too. But this was Raina so for now...

    "I am...*snicker*..."

She smiled a creepy smile again and backed up. How to be her own Wendy... how to be her own ideal while still keeping Raina within arm's reach. She needed her for so much. She wanted the easiest path... to the Happy End.

"I am not a Mahou Shoujo anymore Raina-chan... I am Das Ein Magia."

The newly self named Magia turned to the side and nodded to herself with her eyes closed. Yes, she was a new existence carrying on wishes of a defunct self. This was right. She was right. Wendel, Das Ein Magia was right no matter what anyone said!

Her eyes opened like slits and she jabbed Raina with her elbow.

"See? *Giggle* I think about you, you like flashy names right? Seigi Ling Ling!"

Wendel's face grew dark. Well, darker than it normally looked. She touched her rose and gritted her teeth. No more friendly talk. It was time to say farewell.

"So from here on out. We will work for our ending. What happens after that isn't important Raina-chan. I have to return and continue to work for Vermillion. This is where we will go our own ways... but I can tell you one thing before I go. What do you need to know more than anything about her? I will try to tell you what I can."

  6. To a degree, Seigi was confused. As Wendy, no, Wendel - Das Ein... Magia? Kept talking about all kinds of stuff. Seeing her as Wendy. Sort of her anyway. Perfect Manifestation of her desires. As if... as if...

    No!

Even if it was the truth, Seigi couldn't accept it. As subtle, yet blunt, as Das Ein Magia was, Raina didn't even dare to think about it. She wouldn't dare to lose hope. A person-person was super complex anyway! Was this supposed to be good-byes and a new beginning? Screw that!

Seigi didn't make this choice half-assed. If anything, this was a new chapter in both of their lives! There was no reason to say goodbye to anyone.

    Nobody died.

Nobody... died. Yeah! Wendy was Wendy. Not someone... else... that just had her memories and, to a degree, personality. Wendy just changed a little bit, or rather, still under the roses spell? Seigi herself had changed, too. People changed all the time! It would have been totally unfair of Raina to demand that Wendy hadn't grown at all!

The crimson-hair tried really hard not to think too deeply about it. Just as she had said earlier. Regardless of what Wendel was saying! They were all the same person. And once she wasn't under the influence of the rose, things would surely turn out better. It... had to be. She was still her best friend.

    "YOU!"

Seigi now made a big step forward again and hugged the other girly tightly. It was kind of obvious she had to leave soon. She said so herself. Probably another lie, how she killed Seigi or something?

"That's a cool nickname, indeed!" It was kinda German, right? Anime loved their German after all. "We gonna have another talk about this whole 'Ending' business. A Hero shouldn't get obsessed... not even with Justice." Oh god, did Seigi really just say that? Blasphemy!

"And anything I want to know about her? I barely know anything about this bad person! You should tell me ALL you know. Where can I find her? What's her weakness? Does she have other enemies? But... how about... we just meet again? Can't you do that? Please... please don't tell me the next time we meet is when I face Vermillion in battle. I..." There was Cain, but even he wasn't as close to her as the fallen Mahou.

Not to mention he seemed to enjoy the game to his fullest as a player anyway. It wouldn't be just to put her 'serious problems' on the Flagbearer of Miracle's shoulder. "...I have nobody else in Terrasphere." The red-hairs hug tightened.

    @Magi Heart

  7. img Wendel was not taken aback by Raina, that was the name she would always call her. That was a special symbol of acceptance. That she was not a problem. As long as she wasn't, she would always be her best friend. The person she could count on most.

Even as she grasped Das Ein Magia again in a hug. This time one that showed deep inside she may actually have understood what Wendel said. That was good, because there will come a time where Raina will have to accept a lot of things... for now, more pressing matters existed.

Magia's arms wrapped around Raina's in return and she patted her reassuringly.

"A obsession about justice is totally wrong. Gee whiz, even I understand that Onee-chan."

Her voice was quiet and low.

Obsession? A purpose was what it was. One single purpose that was everything.

"You want to save me right? ,,,Wendy. Well, that's yours. Mine is mine. When we have the Happy Ending. We will get what we want. I promise."

Wendel pulled away. Moving over to the pedestal, she leaned against it and placed her hands on the edges. Looking downwards a moment she then looked back at Raina. The thing Raina wanted most was to meet again? That would be risky... although not impossible. Wendel was easy enough to meet again eventually. The person she wanted, the person Wendel was once... that was impossible.

"Eventually. We'll meet again. I love you too much to not see you sometimes Raina-chan . You are ... *Giggle*, really useful and I know you will always be there. You won't betray me, because I am Wendy right ?"

The pinkette cocked her head and looked to contemplate something.

"I won't betray you either Raina-chan. You will get what you want as long as we exist long enough to get there."

Her face turned serious. It was time.

"Vermillion lives in a another dimension ... I think. I don't know what kind of place it is other than the red moon that never sets. The mansion is safe for me and the others. "

A sadistic look appeared in her eyes. Showing that regardless of her desires being 'maybe' the same as Wendy and Magi, she was not the same. How much so...

"For you, it would be fatal ❤. You need friends, you need to be more than Seigi Ling Ling. A character based on a fantasy won't be enough. Hehehe, trust me I know from experience. ...Sigh."

A sigh escaped her, because the truth was....

"I don't know as much as I'd like to. Gee whiz, It took me a while to even get to this point in my evolution. And... I feel like I actually evolved faster than I should. "

She didn't mention the damage her body was going through to avoid possibly alienating Raina.

"If someone has a rose attached to them, like... in their actual skin. They are with Vermillion. I think she's weird and only takes younger girls like me and you. I don't know why. I feel like she's.... lonely but has a odd way of making friends ."

Das Ein Magia shrugged. None of that mattered anyway. The reasoning didn't matter. Ending this did.

"I've never met any enemies. Some people might know but I doubt that they can do much. The girls she takes are nothing but victims like Wendy... like I was. They are effected by something that I don't really understand. The only thing I'm sure of is she wants something called Chaos Energy.... you know those shards that appear sometimes?"

Sadly, Wendel didn't have any on her.

"She wants a whole lot of them. ...For something."

Again she left out the 'power of a god' part. Telling Raina that might cause her problems later on. Better to keep the secrets she needed to keep for her own success. The power of chaos was not her favorite thing but, it might be her trump card to getting the Happy End. Raina would never accept that... which would only hurt her in the end. Magia would not let Raina stab herself in the foot by misunderstanding her purposes benefits.

A child never wants to take medicine unless it tasted good. Even if they would be happy afterwards. So.. giving lollipops now was the way to go. No need to show the ingredients for the formula.

"...Hehehe. Sigh. And that's it really. Wowzers, I know it's not much but that's what I know."

She barely gave Raina a chance to get a word in before she pushed away from the pedestal and and began to check herself out. She purposely tore some of her dress.

"Please do not spread word of this too much. If everyone panics it will just spread grief and that isn't our goal. *Sincker* We don't want a bunch of weaklings striving for more than they can handle. Just see who you can ally with. If you see a person with a rose, they may be dangerous, they may not be. It depends. They may tell Vermillion about you is you reveal what you know now. ... If she doesn't already know."

One more look at her best friend.

"Be the strongest you, you can be Raina-chan. This isn't a game for us anymore but that doesn't mean we can't be our own kind of heroes. Heroes make happy endings... so let's do that, okay?"

    A nod.

"Don't die. You're the only one that I have here too."

She touched her rose and made the connection to the Manor. A wave of blood like red rose from the ground and began to twirl around her like a tornado.

"Wendel,,Das Ein Magia and Raina-Chan! We will get what we want. Happy Ending for everyone!"

Her hands reached out and slowly rose up as her eyes were hazed with whatever dream she was seeing. She brought her arms close to her and clenched her fists with a large smile and a trickle of more blood from her red eye. Right as the whirling red wave went completely over her and the dissipated.

    Seigi was alone.

Strangely enough, the motions Wendel used were almost like her own idea of a dramatic pose. Simply of a different sort than before.

  8. Seigi was alone.

Having taken in what @Magi Heart had told her, the crimson-haired girl stood there more-or-less motionless. Over and over and over again, Wendel had told her. Like a single obsession. Like a single purpose... .

Seconds passed, as slowly, tears slowly started rolling down her cheeks. She had pushed it back. Pretended to be fine. Telling herself everything was ok. In front of Tenebris. In front of Magi. In front of Wendy. In front of Wendel. In front of herself.

As seconds became minutes, the girl now being sure she was truly alone, her legs finally gave in. Falling to her knees, the crimson-hair's sobbing became more intense. "W-Wendy..." Seigi tried to speak as her voice was breaking. "Wendy!" She cried out, now bending forward as her silent sobbing turned into an unbroken stream.

"Wendy..." She whispered her friend's name again and again. "It hurts..." So, so, much tears. "The pain..." A total breakdown. "It hurts so much..." It became harder and harder to breathe as her face was a sobbing mess. Her heart, starting to hurt as if someone was using cutlery to cut it into a thousand pieces before ironed by a steamroller.

    But...

"Wendy..." She still couldn't give up. Even if it killed her, even if it destroyed her. Even if she wanted to. Even as she was lying here, wailing like an abandoned infant. Broken beyond repair, Seigi had to keep going... .

    ...
    ...
    ...

By the time the girl came to her senses, she had long lost track of time. Her throat, burning. Her face, swollen and ugly. Her Spirit... "..."

With weak steps, the crimson-hair left the broken Chamber of the Unknown Hero. Left the small cave-complex that led her to this fateful encounter.

It was already dark outside as the beaten-up Hero looked up into the stars. A beautiful, but lonely, sight. "...Don't give up... I won't either..." Nobody ever saw a Hero cry... .
