The contract was simple. In order to appease the Lord of the Mountain, the Warden who had blessed their land from generation to generation, the village of Liega has offered you a simple enough job. Protect their shrine maiden from any monsters or bandits along the treacherous mountain path leading up to the mountain and ensure that she reaches the shrine within so that she may complete her pilgrimage, her ritual. That is all that is required of you. ~~~I am looking for 1-2 people for a semi-arc plot thingy. Be sure you're down for all the things. I have a very clear picture of the sort of cast I'm looking for, so please don't have any hard feelings if you're not selected. First and foremost, this will be a long adventure, spanning multiple IC days. Mountain travelling is hard, and this fatigue should be reflected. I do want some semblance of speed however, so active posting would be preferred~ Characters that are edgy, job-orientated, or otherwise evil/profit-focused will not function well here. I seek something emotional and melodramatic here, as well as just the forming/strengthening of relationships in general...which naturally will not work out if you're more focused on killing children or backstabbing teammates for loot. There will be no dice system used for this. I will be trusting people to be logical, reasonable, and willing to have their characters shat on. Preferrably, characters involved will not be absolutely new characters. Some semblance of strength and competency will be needed. Things will be getting pretty fucking anime. Give me something that will send shivers down my spine.
