Can you hear me? I'm on a stroll at the moment and decided it best to send a hallo. Hopefully I'm loud and clear. My name is Des Weiss, of the Weiss Family in Tertoria. I am speaking to you through telepathy. It took me some time to find the correct individuals. Your soul imprints are amazing.

I have noticed that a familiar problem has been spreading throughout your land in recent weeks. It seems Titanius has awoken as usual and has become more brazen than ever before. I believe it has evolved, something that I've been concerned would happen.

This is fine.

Tertoria is prepared to hold the briefing for the battle and would be grateful to be given a gut location to do so. Preferably near the Naryu Canyon if you could meet us there? It would be gut to have our forces all prepared for this together. Don't worry about safety! I have never been disappointed in Saya's abilities. If this is a problem anywhere not too far from home would be wonderbar!

I have heard much of your land from Priscilla and Zia. I look forward to seeing people from somewhere beyond my bubble.

A soul link, group, telepathy? This sounds terrifying. But... it seems the need is great, so I'll go along with it. Nevermind the fact that I don't know how to stop it. It is nice to hear from you, Dee Wiz? I had been anxiously waiting to get back into contact with Zia regarding things I have discovered of late.

I have found that Titanius, the creature, you mentioned is indeed active in western Astorea, specifically near Naryu Canyon, but I guess you already know all this. What you may not know is that is somehow managing to feed off the magic and lifeforce of the villagers living in the region, likely growing stronger as it does so.

As much as I hate to say it any kind of assistance would be more than welcome in such a dire time. I would be more than welcome to open my home as a base of operations, as it is located near the western border, and is the closest defensible position I know of, this side of the Naryu Canyon. That said, its a smaller fort, and will not hold anything but a small army. If anyone else has any alternatives, I'd be more than willing to hear them.

But, while I have you @Astor Balthas due to the ever-growing threat, I am going to have all non-essential personnel begin to evacuate my Dutchy and head Eastward towards Vintergaurd. Please, have some means of dealing with them when they arrive.

And @Lucia Mierz any assistance you could provide would be looked upon kindly.

I certainly wouldn't mind lending some support, though I worry about the condition of my own people in such a hostile environment. If it is indeed sucking the life and magic from an area-- I suppose if it were only life, I could move the bulk of my forces against it, but draining magic is a bit more troublesome. If I could test their longevity in the area for a short while and determine that they'll be able to survive in such a territory, I can move them against the creature?

As for a place to evacuate non-essential personal... I suppose I have the space in my own territory, but I'm worried they wouldn't find it very hospitable, i hadn't really intended for it to be used by normal people after all.

If it is indeed draining life though to sustain or bolster itself, it would be good to see how it would react to other elements. If it absorbs life to grow, if presented with the opposite element it might find itself suffering or perhaps even poisoned. Just some food for thought.

Regardless, if @Astor Balthas has preferences, I'm ready to support where needed?

Hmm, so it appears to honor the agreement Priscilla had spoken to me about then. Very well, I will assemble the adventurers and additional troops as needed.

Duke @Roland Rutledge, we will use your duchy as the base of operation for now to gather as much information as we can. I would rather not have another emergency like the Azog encounter, which cost us more lives than necessary. Can you coordinate with @Des Weiss (D.E.S.) or any of the people she has on this side on setting up a war council? We need to organize our effort more carefully.

For the time being, I will arrange for the citizenry in your territory to vacate to Vintergard. However, they need to bring as much food as they can to the capital. We are experiencing yet another shortage as the winter comes to an end.

Duchess, @Lucia Mierz, looking into it is fine, but if this threat is a sentient being, I think it will be better to carry out your research discretely and not show our ace in the hole too early. I would advise you to stay away from it until we have a better picture of what it actually is. But, I am guessing you have already made the proper preparations?

As you for you, @Des Weiss (D.E.S.), will the relevant powers in Tertoria coordinate the attack with us on the other side? Our fighting power might not be enough if I believe the threat's strength to be as Priscilla has described.

Of course King @Astor Balthas. There will be a suitable force to handle this threat. I will attend the battle myself as well. This is a personal matter for me. I would like to see it to it's end. I assure you, House Flanst and Astorea's contract will be upheld.

Lord @Roland Rutledge! Zia told me of you. Gut gemacht! If your fort can hold my Tertorian friends it will be enough. I'm sure they, like I, are just gushing with excitement to meet you all! New people are so wunderbar! I also already know about the magic and life drains. How schrecklich! It has likely increased to maximum threat levels.

It's been a while since I faced one of those.

Lady @Lucia Mierz ...Was? Your words leave me uncertain to your meaning. I take it that you have a force that is ... not human in nature? That does explain your very unique soul. You are highly bound to a god from beyond my borders. Perhaps we can chat about our faiths sometime? I am always willing to learn more about what is beyond Tertoria's limits. Oh ja! The draining. Titanius is a being that exists by different rules then you or I. It can do many things and continues to develop new traits and powers with every resurrection. So it will be difficult for me to tell you whether it will be able to effect your unique forces.

I will tell the others that preparations are ready! It will be a delight to step into your lands!
