Private - To Ahra, From Vivian

  1. The night was a bitter cold chill. The feeling that coldness stuck you with wintry daggers into your spine from each movement you made against the wind. Vivian dressed for the occasion, but she was in the Temple of Ahra offering prayer, service and gifts to her deity. The night started with a private ritual in the forest, alone and unbothered. She moans through the night making soft whispers to the Goddess to please her and to hopefully be enchanted by her one day. Lucia was well versed in the Tora, knowing all there was to the deities. Ahra was the one that struck the most sense with Vivian, to use the world and its mechanics to fulfill her wishes of glory in the future.

Within the Temple, Vivian was sprawled out, nearly naked as the Priests and Priestesses dabbed her body in anointed oils made specifically for the calling of Ahra. This was her first time in a ritual like this where it encompassed others. Her first ritual was a private one, somewhat of a calling, but she knew that the company of others and their energies would spark something new and exciting. Why not take part in a ritual where other's who honored Ahra were of the same like mind as Vivian? Of course the name was common, they had heard of her and her Witchy deeds and came to find her and offer her in this service. Vivian would agree and thus...

The halls of the Temple were filled with the Mantra of Ahra, one of many that played out in the midnight hours. Vivian rose from the altar she was sprawled out over. She was dressed in robes, her hourglass figure shown through the fabric as she twisted and raised her hands upwards as the mantra grew in volume from the participants of the ritual. Then there was silence and a low hum resonated from their voices. Candles of all colors were lit with long matches one by one from a Priest as he moved about the Temple.

The Dark Witch shifted her leg one over the other as the ritual came to a close. She sat there, looking at the statue of her deity with admiration with her hands curled in her lap. She closed her eyes and the others departed from the room and left for their homes. Yet, Vivian remained in silence just looking and staring up at the stone sculpture. The seductive woman shifted her head, her eyes masked by the length of long purple hair as she smiled with her mauve colored lips. Her words were soft and silky, "I was wondering if I was ever gonna see you again. What brings you to the Temple of Ahra... @Cassandra Descartes ? It's been awhile, Honey. After our time together during the early winter, I didn't think you'd come see me again. Odd place for a visit though." Vivian's full body twisted around now as she sat there on the altar, her body nearly naked as she slipped one foot over the other getting comfortable once more.

"Come closer, let me greet you as a sister."

  2. Temples were places she did not like. Never having been a very godly woman in real life, she was not completely at ease in places of worship, no matter what exactly was being worshipped. The whole atmosphere was weird and really not what she considered a fun environment. As such, she had so far dodged all such places in the game, unless a quest or such really required her to go there.

And this kind of was a quest, wasn’t it? There might not have been a reward in gold or exp, but she had been asked to come here by someone she’d met. A mildly interesting person at least, confusing, but not annoying. That was enough for someone such as Cass to consider coming, even if it meant going into a temple.

After all, she was not exactly feeling pain or something like that in here. It just weirded her out. The lighting by candle, the chanting in the air – it all served a purpose, yet she had no idea what exactly that purpose was. That was what irritated her. No one had come to introduce her to things properly at all.

Instead, she had found her way inside on her own, following instructions she had been given by chance. Heck, until her eyes actually found the witch, she’d not been sure if this was the right place at all.

And yeah, she would always call that one a witch. Looked like one, acted like one. Witch.

After all, she could immediately tell just who was approaching her without looking, that was definitely witchcraft in-universe.

Obviously, her own reaction had to be to do her best to ignore that part. It just made more sense to her that way. “Well, you did invite me. And I was in town, so I figured, why not?” Shrugging, she tried to play it cool, though she decidedly did not look at the lack of clothes in front of her. Somehow, it felt as if she was intruding on something, with a setup like this. “A sister of what, though?”

  3. Vivian's laughter filled the ancient temple with her honey like voice. It echoed around the chamber as her sharp smile curved and she twisted and turned to greet the female face to face while still sitting pretty on the altar. Her long dress robe was a silken black fabric, almost see through if one wished to squint their eyes to see the curvy details.

The witchy woman moved her hands across the stone slab and pushed off the edge as her bare feet gently stepped onto the cold floor. The robe danced with her movement, still confining her womanly bits to the mystery of the mind as she roamed between the pews and stood in front of Cassy.

"Oh come now. I just wanted to apologize for it being so long to get in touch with you again. I wasn't sure how you felt when we...ya know?" Vivian trailed off, her slender arm looked almost like that of a snake as it curled around Cassandra's shoulder, her chest bumping into her arm.

"I had to do something after you helped me that one time with the Poppy Flowers. I had no idea that thing was so poisonous. And then you were there...all heroic and stuff and you got that poison sucked right out of me. I didn't want things to be awkward so I gave you some time afterwards." Vivian swept her hand over that shoulder and twisted her nearly naked body around the woman as she turned back around and looked at her with a bright smile.

"You seem a little tense, your first time in the Temple of Ahra? Come sit with me a little while and I shall explain." Vivian was not in a big hurry to rush their friendship as opposed that last time. Perhaps she was reading the wrong signals from the woman and that kiss was simply bad timing on her part.

Nonetheless, the witch took Cassy by the hand and had her follow her to one of the pews in the back. She shifted in the pew, settling one leg over top the other as she got perhaps a little too close for comfort next to her old friend. With a smile on her face she lifted her right arm and started to explain.

"This is the Temple of Ahra, one of many. It is always wise to fear and respect the Gods of this world because you never know when you might need a miracle. As for the Goddess Ahra herself, she is the Goddess of Destruction, passion and..." Vivian swept the long purple hair off her shoulder as she continued with a dramatic pause, "..adultery. There are others in the Malevolent Torra as well. Each one has a sort of domain of ideals. Ahra has come to me many times in Spirit. I feel her during my rituals, when I make love~ But its important to observe the deities of the world. I myself am not a religious woman outside the game, nor am I one inside the game. However, something like this speaks with me. It empowers my spells, makes me a unique person."

Vivian rambled, her chatty nature coming in full sail as she would do so on subjects of interest. These subjects were limited though, as she was not a very talkative person to random strangers. However, on the subjects of sex, lust and Ahra...she was a pretty mouthy woman.

  4. There was a slight shudder with all of this. To be frank, Cass could not explain it. No, it was not as if she had a faint idea and just could not put a finger on it. She flat-out could not understand why it happened. This was a comfortable feeling, physically. And she did not hate this woman. And yet, a shiver ran down her spine without being wholesome.

Maybe it was just this place. It felt cold, despite the occasional open fires. Too wide and empty at the same time, filled with things she barely understood or comprehended. It was not a hearth to her, definitely not.

Yet still, that wasn’t it. As said, it was inexplicable for now. So, instead, she just followed along and listened, only nodding for the time being as she was led to a pew and given a bit of an info dump. Her acquaintance certainly was into the lore of the game, behaving very much like a roleplayer.

“If you are not religious, how did you even come to this? I mean, when I looked at the character creation, I did not even get the idea of doing something like that. It just feels a bit surreal to pray and believe more into the gods of a game than in real life. I mean….I…..you know what I mean, right?”

Yes, it was hard for her to really put into words what she wanted to convey. It was pretty evident just by the fact that she did not even try to put on her persona or anything, but much spoke directly as the person from behind the screen, rather than the character. “I mean, I kind of feel like this is how cults get started. I once had an orientation to that. It feels pretty dangerous, in a way. This is supposed to be just a game, yet the way you describe it, it seems like more than a game. ISn’t that like, a little bit scary?”

  5. "Scary, thrilling? All sorts of emotion one could put their finger on and in the end, it all comes down if you wish to give yourself to the romanticism of it all. Perhaps it is true, I tend to give in more to the player side in the game. I have never taken any acting lessons before, but there is a role that needs to be filled. It spoke to me, it gives me my passion and it gives me my power." Vivian slid her butt and her thighs a little closer to the woman, a broad smile on her lips.

She would dance her fingers over the edge of her own robe, peeling the dark fabric lightly away from her peach colored flesh to reveal the tattoo that symbolized the Goddess Ahra. Of course, she could talk about Ahra all day long, but that didn't matter if the party listening was interested in what she had to say...Not that it mattered.

"I believe we just do what we enjoy doing. If one wishes to be powerful, why not tap into the mechanics and lore of the game and see what comes of it? I was offered a chance by the woman I enjoy being around, she is my Mentor and I believe she has set me on a path of understanding. For you, it might be something different. I just figured, I'd share a little of what I like. But tell me, Cassandra..."

Vivian's minx like smile was still evident upon her lips. She would touch the woman if for the fact she didn't want to repel her, "What is it that you enjoy doing in this world? Goals or aspirations? Perhaps I can help you achieve these things? I wouldn't mind offering my services to you. Of course, there might be a little...price." She shrugged her shoulder, the sexy skin showing as she did a small roll of her flesh as she leaned in just a little more.
