I really suspect he brought all his crewmates aboard. We got no choice unless we want to end up like the most of the ships.
"I think our attacks have an effect on them, because if we couldn't affect them at all they couldn't affect us either, and since @Alric Stalwart has been using spirit magic with about as much effectiveness as the rest of us it's more likely that the captain is using a trick."
With my investigation mode on, I realized he came back a bit stronger than before, which apparently didn't apply to his other crewmates. We need to figure out his petty trick before he gets even stronger.
"@Alric Stalwart, do you have any knowledge about ghosts that share their... vitality? I'm thinking that maybe when we took Mango-Leg out the first time one of his crew members died in place of him, so unless we kill the entire ghost crew he'll just keep coming back."
I've never seen anything like that before, but it might be worth trying take down the crew first anyway. Not like we have anything to lose.
We can't give into his demands. Let's not forget he's responsible for making crews disappear in these waters. @Magdalyn you're in the best health out of all of us so can you go guard Rumbottom and Lumberface? Everyone else let's focus the crew. @Luna Avalbane @Corvella @Ueno Mizuki
"If he's speaking the truth and he'll disappear once he's given this ship wouldn't that be the easiest course of action? It's not exactly ethical but we're here to solve the problem, and this seems to be the fastest way to do it. Especially since now even the crew mates are respawning so I really don't know how we're supposed to take them out."
If he's telling the truth... He's not exactly a trustworthy guy. Let's hear what the others think. I'm not convinced the fastest path is necessarily the right one.
It's likely that he took all the disappearing ships this way, by pressuring them to leave the ship for him. I suppose we can always negotiate a better deal, can't we?
