Note: This encounter happens because @Das Ein Magia took a certain, magical, letter in the Prismcollector of Stokbon. "WROOF!" "RAWR!" "AWOOO!" The Crystallized Zalra had truly quite a diverse amount of monsters and, while some were weaker than others, they posed all as a threat. Even crystalized deer had been twisted by this virus to such a degree that they could easily kill the careless wannabe-hero. Yet, even in a place such as this, some were more dangerous than others, and the Moonstone Werewolves counted amongst the most dangerous. Surely, still not the most dangerous, but nonetheless the most common Apex Predator. One? Maybe doable. A small pack? A death sentence for any but the most seasoned veterans. The three disfigured beings eyed @Das Ein Magia with greedy eyes. They weren't THAT stupid, clearly waiting for the girl to do something. Even they could smell that, despite her cute frame, the Mahou wasn't an opponent to take lightly. But why even? They didn't require food. For Fun? Their territory? Simply because they could? Whatever it was, did it even matter? As a matter of fact, right now, right here, only one party would leave alive. Either the three beasts or the magician. Unless... "R-Rawr! Rawr! Rrrrrr....." Suddenly, a change in behavior, as they slowly backed up from Magia or... no... something else. They seemed way more domestic all of a sudden before starting to whimper and hail tail out of it... . A gentle chuckle. "My, My, what unfortunate Souls..." A gentle, but strong, adult female voice spoke out behind the combat-ready Mahou. "And who do we have here~?" She asked as Magia turned around to confront... a rather harmless looking person? It was... just weird. The woman showed no signs of aggression or malice, had no weapon. Only a pretty, perfectly fine dress that made her look even more out of place. Magi couldn't even feel some sort of hidden magical power, yet... it was weird. Simply weird. And frightening. Something beyond comprehension. Was it fear? Something similar to it? An instinct that burned deep into Wendel's mind, screaming at her that taking on this woman would mean nothing but death. The very same feeling that made the crystallized werewolves flee the instant they saw her. In fact... from where did she come anyway!? "Mhm, you're... not the one I am looking for. Way too pretty! And... way too complex." The woman pouted for a second, kinda even cute, before covering her mouth with her hand as if she had just witnessed something scandalous. "But where are my manners?!" She followed to make an elegant curtsey. "You may call me Sumer, and who might you be..." Another moment of silence, clearly thinking about what to call the Mahou. "Young One?" Whatever monsters had been lurking close before, they had all run away... .
Moonstone Werewolves? It was unfortunate what became of so many that lived in Terrasphere. Coming here for some peace and quiet only to be met by these creatures. How unfortunate.Pulling back her arrow of black, Das Ein Magia prepared to do her duty for them. They would be sent before they even got within reach of her. Why they were even backing down already. Gosh... It was too late for that... "My, My, what unfortunate Souls..." How true that was, Wendel agreed... wait... She turned and upon seeing a human being... or someone who looked human anyway. She lowered her arrow and it vanished. The werewolves had fled however, which actually irritated Magia. She did not show this beyond a small annoyed look that quickly changed to a crooked grin as she replied. The screams of her cold soul were not something that Wendel cared to entertain. She spent enough time around people who could potentially one shot her if she wasn't careful to know just randomly shooting at things won't accomplish a thing. It was nice to have gained some sanity from the person she once was. Living longer was something she need to do after all. "I couldn't agree more Miss. A shame they will now live on a little longer to suffer more." Wendel's pink eye quivered before a invisible majesty that Wendel could not identify. However the red eye only shifted oddly and she remained relaxed. Shortly afterwards the pink one followed suit as the natural fear of a human faded away. The woman showed her little aggression so she would return the favor. She said her name was Sumar... that explained some things. Grasping the pain inducing Gertrud in both hands vertically in a limp position in front of her. The pain up her arms didn't even register. Wendel spoke, softer yet sharper than the natural sweet voice of Wendy and certainly not the viciously mocking tone of Tenebris. "Pretty? Gee whiz, that's nice of you to say." A drop of blood fell down her cheek. A barely audible snicker followed. Her appearance was not really something she even thought about at all. Unlike Wendy who found talking about it awkward and kicked her into shy mode. Wendel felt... indifferent but took the compliment for whatever it was. She simply aimed to maintain a look like Magi Heart for Raina and the ideal Wendy had.Nothing else mattered for it. "I'm not who you are looking for Dolly Mommy, but I am the one who found your letter Sumar-san." Being called complex made sense. Not even someone like this could figure out just what Wendel was. That was really disappointing.considering the power of her creations in that mansion. This person would probably not be able to answer that question for Wendel. Sharply cocking her head so hard she may as well be a doll herself. The pinkette offered the best answer most would get from her. "I'm Wendel, Das Ein Magia. Wendel or just Magia is fine too hehehe❤ ." She offered a good Japanese style bow. Even though she had no desire to be a Mahou Shojou, she did carry on the traits of Wendy's weabness, It was part of what she was. So it came out much easier than for even Wendy in some ways. Indeed, because she was ideal. "Nice to meet you❤! You made 13 and 15 among others didn't you?" @Skyswimsky
For a split second, Sumer seemed a tiny bit disappointed, yet impressed at the same time, before giving @Das Ein Magia a gentle smile. "You shouldn't sell yourself short, Wendel." After all, the broken Magia didn't seem to take that compliment all too serious. "True Beauty is a fickle subject, don't you agree? YOU happen to stand out just so wonderfully!" Sumer gave a sinister chuckle as Wendel could feel how she was now devoured by Wendel's soul-piercing glare. "Ever heard the story about the Ugly Duckling?" A...rhetorical question? Wait, wasn't that story... "Say, Das Ein Magia, do you believe in Fate? That your entire existence, every single one of your actions -from the insignificant to the monumental -, are not of your own choice but, rather, already written down long ago? The past, present, and future, already decided upon? Your own free will, merely a farce?" Sumer now took slow steps forward, closer to the Mahou. "Say, Wendel, are you content being a prisoner?" A few seconds passed as Sumer seemed to be quite serious with her words. The air around them loaded with some tense static before she simply started to laugh. This time, more like some playful child, completely breaking the refined lady image she had tried to build up just before. "Hahahaha! Just kidding, just kidding! You see, it's all business for me. As an Artist with quite some demanding customers, I have to put on a show!" Apparently regaining her composure, Sumer simply continued to smile gently, a stark contrast to her piercing glare. "Aahhh... just kidding. We're all our own Masters, mhm? Otherwise, we would've never met...? Thirteen and Fifteen? Mhm." Finally, Sumer got to that this was actually about?! "I've met the one called Fifteen. A potential miracle of beauty, but right now? A broken, sad, ugly puppet. Clinging to a name, merely a number, given by the one who betrayed her affection. Names can be quite powerful, you see." For a moment, Sumer's piercing glare, her entire face, hardened into something murderous, disgusted, even? As if the mere idea of what she was about to utter plagued her mind. "I'd never name my own in some serializing fashion." Before quickly returning to her gentle smile. "Zero? Mhm, maybe. That Name is special. Anyway, I'd very much PREFER if you'd stop comparing my own work to that imitator. The one that the letter you have is addressed to, have you met him?"
"Do I...? Gee whiz, I always did, I guess. She took this game of hers so seriously. Thinking it a escape from reality. in the end it only proved what reality was." The ugly duckling metaphor was not missed by Wendel. In fact, it clarified some of this woman's powers for her. She may know who Wendel was before, just like 13 did. That meant that there were ways to still see Wendy in her? Or perhaps she was still the same person regardless how much she wanted to be accepted as a new one? Existential crises... she was so tired of it already just from the leftovers of Tenebris. It paled compared to her purpose. It wasn't important what she was, even if she would like to know eventually. Then this Sumer person went on to talk about predetermined fate? Being a prisoner? Then she revealed that she did not actually make the dolls Wendel had fought. Ah... they were just copies then. ...Like what Raina thought of her. Not the real thing, not the true person, not worth keeping over the original. This woman called herself a artist... that was... Urgh. "...I see." Wendel's face had grown dark but she simply wiped a hand over the blood on her face and returned to a neutral expression, why she even bothered to wipe it away anymore she wasn't sure. The woman questioned her about the 'Pappa' the dolls had mentioned. He was likely dead considering they were alone.... but maybe that was a bad thing to reveal this early. "Nope❤ . I know he owned a old mansion and that's how I found the letter. That's it." She shrugged as if it was not important, and it really wasn't. This whole thing was not going to get her what she wanted anyway. Although... Going over to a completely crystallized tree and running her hand over it lightly. The tree was still alive beneath that crystal surface wasn't it? Or was it dead? Asleep? Magia saw her own reflection and gazed at it for a second. Before slightly turning back towards Sumer. This woman could create life, joked about prisons, called things ugly or beautiful like she had the right to judge anyone. She was definitely one of the problems. But... wasn't most everything other than Raina? "You say you're kidding. But... *sincker*, aren't we all pawns to the will of those above us? Gods, kings, ...mothers...are own wishes.... obsessions..." Her eyes blanked for a moment as if she was lost in her own little world as she kept going. "I named myself recently. I have taken on a pretty big burden. Gee whiz... I ...exist for it. If it is for nothing, that doesn't even matter. Your art... do you make the world happy with it? Or only yourself? ...hehehe... what matters more? Wouldn't it be cool beans if what you wanted and what the world wanted were the same thing? I think most people do... they just *giggle* are too shy to say it ❤ ." Coming back to reality. Wendel leaned against the tree and the crystal infection spread onto her a little. A single small burst of her mana shattered the shards off of her easily. "So I guess you came here for nothing *snicker*. I'm curious what you'd do if you found this man though? I have a debt of my own to repay with no end in sight, but... maybe I can help you. I am generally a hero by nature. I try to help if it's within my power, and even if it isn't. Guts, effort and all that.... wowzers, oops ❤! That's my friend's slogan not mine. I just try to get it done." Her eye lids lowered and the look on her face upon saying 'done' was easily the most malicious of the entire talk so far. Giving away that she was probably not the most innocent person Sumer had met in however many meeting she has had. If a look could stab someone through the chest. This one certainly would leave a open wound. Offering the woman aid may seem to be a waste of time, but making friends with people who were not Vermillion and were not weaklings was in her best interest. Bonds and friendships were powers for Magi Heart after all... so this was kinda natural.... Of course, no way was she a Mahou Shojou. Her friendships were a bit different in how they worked. Wendy's ways were ineffectual and dead to Wendel. @Skyswimsky
