With the hentai!platypus defeated, the group spared no time before moving onwards with their expedition. It would’ve been nice to have an opportunity to clean all the tentacle gunk off of himself, of course, but Yukisa wouldn’t dare sound rude and speak up against hastily pushing forth.

They followed the lead of one Vina Skysong, whom seemed to have some strange device that pointed towards the strongest source of “dissonance.” Yuki had absolutely no idea what that meant, however again, he was far too trusting to doubt for even a split second that they might be tricking him.

And so they had arrived at some strange building, filled with what appeared to be bizarre exhibits. A museum. Funny, because with the amount of threats that infested the place, it seemed like they were about to become history.

The battle was certainly rough. So rough, in fact, that Yukisa had been incapacitated for the majority of it, unable to get a hit in as he struggled to suck up the damage he sustained.

Fortunately, he wasn’t down quite yet. As he glanced around, he noticed that there were several others who were in an even worse state than himself. He realized that they would do no good on the battlefield any longer, and should find a safe place to rest.

Without thinking too much, he shouted, “If you’re too badly injured, the door’s clear! Get to safety!” and rushed to the nearest wounded party members. The first was Emil, whom had exerted quite a bit of himself for the sake of eliminating the threats around them, and currently looked badly injured. Considering the man wasn’t really small compared to Yukisa, it was definitely not easy grabbing him and carrying him to safety, however with the use of Aeromancy he had somehow managed to lighten his load. As he was on his way to the exit, he also picked up Celestine, who said she was too tired to even move at this point.

And so, the trio were safe.

Aalam needed to rest he was tired, and his body was weary it was going to be nice to catch himself for a bit, leaning in the shadow of a lovely oak tree. Watching the others take on the queen, well they were getting the job down, and that was good to see. Patting down his pockets as he looked for his emergency supply and finding that bottle smashed, letting out a small sigh. He was going to need to find the duke stash much quicker now. Well, the man was busy fighting a horror from the past, and he spied with his eyes what looked. However, it seemed that there was where they would be separating the knights form the squire. They were running those who were new and those that didn’t have it in them to finish. He made sure to remember who was who after all he might need to work with them later and well it is good to know who abandon a job.

Popping the cork of the wine and taking a nice swig from the bottle, enjoying more the taste than the burn, at least they were able to clear the path if nothing else. Taking a moment to catch his breath and relax for those few moments. The job would be getting harder in a second.

It was too much, too much information, too much input, too much action. Usually she wouldn’t mind, but this was a whole new medium and she wasn’t used to it yet. The other, they seemed to take care of each other and handle their business just fine. Rellan wasn’t even supposed to be there, having passed out in the back of a wagon and towed along accidently. This wasn’t her fight, right? And besides, it was all just a game. It was all a game, so what did it matter if she “died”, right?

Her mind barely finished the thought before she found herself running towards the exit, barely noticing that others had begun to do the same. It had only really registered that this was, by all definitions, a illegal game, and who knew what would actually happen if she died here? It wasn’t something she wasn’t to experience. Something in the pit of her stomach churned, feeling anxious and scared. ‘What if they think I’m a coward?’ was the thought that ran through her mind over and over again, though she eventually pushed it aside to better concentrate on her footing.

Rellan saw others helping those that were injured or lagging behind for whatever reason and felt her cheeks heat up in shame. The thought never even crossed her mind. So much for being a hero.

A sudden cry for help caught Rellan’s attention. Two females, one with light hair and the other darker, were in obvious need of assistance. Looking around quickly Rellan saw that no one else around was going to help. She pursed her lips and huffed a breath threw her nose. Well, she did ask for it, right? Kinda?

The martial artist ran and scooped up the two girls, noting how light they were, and pumped her legs as fast as she could.

“Betcha wasn’t expectin’ a threesome!!” she yelped out as she dashed as fast as she could towards the exit, laughing as she did so.

Magdalyn wanted to fall into the eager excitement of fighting beside her friend, but the battle itself was making that difficult. Their situation was dire, shifting from bad to worse far too quickly for Mags' liking. The fight at the East Wall had been bad, for sure, but it had never seemed entirely impossible. There had always been a sliver of light, an opening for forward progress, a chance to be successful.

This... this was so completely different. The world seemed to be crashing down around her, and amid the cracking and crashing of stone, the cries of the frightened and wounded wound toward her. The sound broke her heart. These were players, they would respawn, but that did not make her fully immune to their pain and suffering. No, her compassion went far too deep for that.

Suddenly, everyone was peeling away, running back toward the exit. Her gut instinct was a wave of frustration - had she not just arrived? And now she was leaving? And what was the point of running from a threat, anyhow? This was just a game!

But that line of thinking existed for only a split second. Even in a game, strategy was vital. She still had to be smart - they all did. And at the moment, perhaps fleeing was the smartest option they were given. So the blue-haired woman spun back to her friend, only to see Comet being dragged away by another player. As long as she is safe, the girl thought, before running toward another familiar face.

"Good to see you again, Cain," she said in way of greeting. Then she hooked her arm through his, and dragged him back toward the entrance. "Sorry for the manhandling," she called over the chaos, "but you're too valuable to lose."

Then, realizing she did have another arm to spare, she snagged another player. This one she did not know, but the woman looked like she could use a bit of aid. "I'm Mags!" she greeted, all the while tugging her two companions away from the violence.

“Damn, this is so chaotic, STOP RUNNING AND PUSHING PEOPLE EVERYWHERE,” Rudiford shouted as loud as he could, attempting to get people to settle down after the weird voice resounded in the narrowed pathway. However, his effort was wasted as people were panicking even more now from the prospect of the building falling apart. Not wanting to stay another minute longer and being smashed by a falling boulder, Rudiford adjusted his eye-patch before he came back to @Ilusa Nakhalee.

“Lady Ilusa, let's go help out, there are a lot of people who need to get the fuck out and I need to make sure they do that. Knight's code," he spoke as he left her.

He first looked for anyone who were in immediate danger to take with him on his way forward. Though, he wasn't sure if where they were going was any safer than a crumbling museum. He still haven't quite had the chance to process all of it yet.

"Alright guy and gal, why are you two just standing there, you want to be Cthulhu food? It's time to get the hell out of this stink hole,"
Rudiford spoke with a hint of sarcasm as he grabbed onto @Alric Stalwart and pulled him together with Ilusa. Nothing can explain why he decided to grab Alric specifically, it was most likely his instinct.

There was no time for Yukisa to introduce himself to the two strangers he had just nearly forcefully hauled out of the building. As he was catching his breath, about to give them a greeting and share his name, the sound of rushed footsteps from behind him cut that short. It appeared that many others had gotten the same idea as him and were now fleeing the museum.

But as the stream of people began to dwindle, he noted that there was absolutely no way everyone had managed to get out. Glancing over his shoulder at @Emil Trevelyan and @Celestine , he muttered, “I’ll be right back,” and rushed off, back the way he had come.

Upon entering the structure, he wasted no time to rescue his fellow adventurers. He prioritized those who appeared to be in the worst circumstances, and those happened to be @Corvella and @Healer Q . Fortunately the latter wasn’t too difficult to hold onto and get out, but Corvella… he really should have thought twice before deciding to drag an armor-clad warrior after himself.

But he couldn’t stop to reconsider, as the strange sound of a devilish laughter and cracking resonated throughout the structure. He had to leave pronto, and take as many as he could with him.

Be it by way of talent, magic or pure luck, the three were eventually outside. He brought the two females to where the two other he had rescued were, and once they were safely on the ground, dropped to his knees, panting so hard it sounded like wheezes. He glanced down at his hands, and noticed that he couldn’t even make out that they were his hands with how blurry his vision had gotten from the effort. His heart and head were pounding, both from the energy he exerted and the fact he had gotten a hit on the head so bad, his temple was caked with blood.

Regardless of his current status, when he had managed to catch his breath, he lifted his gaze towards the four that were next to him. “Hey,” he muttered in between pants, giving them all a soft smile that was clearly difficult for him to muster. “I don’t know any of you, so I thought I’d let you know that my name is Yukisa. Are you all feeling alright?” he asked, genuine concern in his quivering voice.

Well, well. Quite a lot happened on the Journey towards Titanius. It wasn't even the battle against himself. Yet, as the group had slowly battled their way forward and forward. From a more-or-less awesome looking upside-down forest past a tentacle infested lake into a part of the forest that quickly turned the 'awesome'-part into an actual horror show.

Even Seigi's enthusiasm, as she punched and kicked along a way forward, took a hit! The stench, the stench, ooohhh the horrible stench. The fact they entered some sort of building only added to the creepiness factor. Like some abandoned school in an Asian horror flick!

Nonetheless, there wasn't too much ambient horror to go with as, suddenly, everything turned Spiders! Just like before, however, it was simply another opponent to defeat. Small fry. Sure, they had to take em serious but clearly, Titanius would be worse... .

In the entire ordeal, Seigi did more or less her own thing. Paying fullest attention to the matters at hand the orange-hair was in a state of trance as she disposed, all background-character like fashion, of various beasts. The stone statues were just another list on the enemy pile. And, sooner or later, everything seemed ded, yet... it still wasn't over? Everybody suddenly started to... run? Taking the broken and injured with them.

This time, Seigi wasn't as ballsy to stand in the face of potential(?) danger. This time, she would just be another sheep. The girl still had the responsibility to defeat Titanius's Core and she couldn't risk falling here. Taking a quick look around, Seigi located Zombiegirl and some other person that had trouble getting their feet up.

Using her Heroic Strength, Seigi grabbed each of them under her arms before dashing for the exit. "Welcome aboard the Seigi Express!"

Libitina looked around to see the museum starting to crumble. She knew she did not have much time. She would have to run, otherwise she would be crushed by the museum and then game over. The amethyst eyed girl had no interest to know how much it hurts to have a heavy bolder hit one on their head.

Since it was a raid, Libitina knew that team work is the most important thing. Even if you do not know a person, you need to help them. She noticed two girls beside her who were not moving out. She carried @Alphabet Chocolate with one hand, similar to how an adult would carry a small child and grabbed @Velka hand. Without even exchanging a word, she began running towards the exit in an attempt to rescue herself as well as the other two. When they were safe she let the both go. "I hope the two of you are doing well" she asked as basic courtesy

After spending a few minutes dancing around in fright and slapping at his body to get rid of the phantom spider, Kingoda realized that both @Alkaid Zexis and @Portia Ahrens were teasing him. He definitely did not pout, because really manly men didn't pout, as he turned back around with a huff to save more damsels in distress. Maybe the next ones would appreciate his effort more! Humph!

He scanned the museum with ease, wondering if he even had to bother. The enemies were defeated, they could brea-- what was that? He sucked ina breath as an ominous crack sounded in the museum.

"Nopenopenope!" he hissed as he ran into the room, grabbing the first two ladies that caught his eyes.

Once more, Kingoda hightailed it out of the creepy museum with two ladies bent over his shoulders. With his heroic might and adrenalin fueling bis monstrous strength, he managed to get them out before ceremoniously lowering them and tipping his invisible fedora at them.

With two people taken care off, Seigi could swear she had seen even more strugglers! Well, with the hero girl still being full of energy she quickly went into the fray again!

First, there was @Blank, Seigi remembered the Supreme Witch, who was apparently a good person(otherwise she wouldn't be helping right now?), helping her against the child-kidnapper! "Long time no see, Witchy!" The Martial Artist nodded to her as she was put under her arm as well. ... Wasn't there some anime that? Whatever.

The next target Seigi picked was a... pirate? They looked... familiar. But pirates were evil!...? Well, right now, they were all on the same side anyway. "Need a hand?" Seigi asked @Rat before grabbing the taller woman as well and running back to the entrance once again!

As he reached the formation of the Witch Ops, he then saw the spider queen spew out a huge number of smaller spiders. Seeing this, he then drew his weapons and tried to fend off the spiders that were trying to get a bite off him. But as the spiders were too numerous, he was then pushed towards a particular exhibit. As he was still looking hither and thither for spiders that he might have missed he inevitably gazed upon that huge display. The figure was that of the Roman god of thunder, but, as he gazed upon the statue, the figure of the angelic hatchling was being juxtaposed with it, and, as his brain was spinning from all the things he experienced in his death, he started to puke on the ground, his pupils uncontrollably shaking with extreme fear. That display went on for some minutes, until he saw the floor near him cracking up. Realizing that the area might collapse soon, he thought that he needed to escape. He then saw the Duke nearby him, still looking frozen from something, and then, thinking that they should go out quickly, he cradled the Duke with his right arm and started running, but, from the corner of his eye, he then saw his other comrade in the manor... wait, cracking a bottle of wine open? By his anticipation the building would start to collapse from the screech of the spider queen, and here he was, drinking like it was nothing? Grasping the person by his collar, he then dragged him to the museum entrance, muttering, "Dangit, drinking wine in the midst of a collapsing building in an apocalypse... at least share the wine with me!"

    Epilogue

    Titanius

Before anyone had the time to communicate properly, a loud crack could be heard. The building shook due to the damage dealt to its structure and a crack on the ground opened up. It quickly expanded into a gargantuan fissure.

Suddenly, voices of agony and pain filled the museum as the entire structure began collapsing. Inside the earth fissure, anybody could tell that a green liquid sizzled eagerly in anticipation for someone to fall inside. The inside of the fissure was lined with thousands of spiderballs and a dense fog of concentrated dissonance spilled out, infecting anyone who was late to get the hell out of there.

HOLY SHIT! The building is crumbling, I thought this was supposed to be an illusion??? Go, go, go! Get the hell out of here!!!

Anyone who did not run or wasn’t rescued received damage from acidic sources or falling debris before they could make it to the entrance. Silence governed supreme when they managed to get through and the museum collapsed. With their only way to return now sealed off, the adventurers only had one choice in their hands — press forward. For a brief moment, relief spread among the group along with a blast of cold air originating deeper down the canyon. The walls were made of concrete just like in the museum, yet they pulsated slightly. Despite how odd it looked, the long and narrow passage was safe for the most part.

Holy crap… okay. Now that that’s over, rest up. It looks like it’s the real deal up ahead.

After coming to a decision, the raid party decided to stop to rest and heal. They had come a long way until now and restoring one’s stamina was necessary. They were incredibly worn out and had yet to reach the true enemy in this whole madness — The future looked bleak. Once everyone managed to catch their breath, the raid party pressed onward, down the alien corridor. While they progressed, the wall, floor, and ceiling continued to change until it appeared flesh-like and a disgusting mess until they finally reached their destination. At the end of the road, several fleshy folds shrunk and revealed the passage to what appeared to a huge chamber.
