His arms hurt. His legs hurt. His torso, back, neck and feet all screamed in displeasure and yet none so much as his hands. He cpuldnt tale the time to look at thembut Haru was very sure that something on his hands was tearing.

Haru had kept his face and attitude as valiant as he could to keep everyone else going, but in truth he couldn't really understand why he was doing all of this. This entire escapade, ever since he had met back up to face off against the spider queen, had been a bit of a haze. Haru really wasn't sure how he had gotten here, and after the strain of his own body came into play he couldn't even hope to.

He thinks that he had greeted some of his friends over at this rope some time ago but couldn't quite make out their faces or voices. Who was He doing this with? Why was he doing this at all? He should just let go and fix this problem-

A healer incites a magic phrase and sends a jolt through his mind. His problem was in no way fixed, but Haru had the peace of mind to look around him. Right... Janet, Ivan and Corvella were helping him keep this pus sack down. He also had the presence of thought to realise he was slipping. Cursing lightly under his breath, Haru redoubled his efforts against this problem that he remembered was assailing him. It didn't matter that the dissonance pushed on his soul- all he needed was to pull back and down. Back and down. Back and down.

Seeing the various people charging onto the the tentacle and smacking it about, Ceres had to agree that it was probably the best course of action. They would have all the time in the world to kill Titanius, but it wouldn't matter very much if they were all dead in 10 minutes. Luckily, she had a way to help out in times like these, even if it was indirectly.

Grasping her dagger, she uttered a few quick words and then studied the tentacle. Hundreds of scenarios played out in her mind at once and just as she was about to be overwhelmed, she found out what she was looking for. She spotted what appeared to be a vulnerability in the tentacle and then relayed the information to one of the people who were also going off to fight. Hopefully that would help.

Glad to see @Madison Freebird participating, Lucia decided holding back wouldn't really be a good decision any more. @Iván Carl would be able to recognize Lucia's undead summon at her side, the small little girl who had once transformed into a myriad of different monsters was holding Lucia's hand. The mage woman who wore light clothing when meeting Zeus furrowed her brow as she spoke in a low tone. "Alice, give me armor." She spoke firmly causing the little girl's body to suddenly split into sections wrapping and winding around Lucia's body hugging her frame as the flesh writhed and changed into a hard chitin material. What was once a little girl melted into crystalline armor that both @Iván Carl and @Madison Freebird would recognize as parts of the Ant Queen. All it took was a sweep of her hand to complete the armor with a helm who's face was a crystalline mask.

With a sudden thrust of her leg, she darted after the other agile players, closing the gap between her and @Alphabet Chocolate with the help of her armor the mage didn't have to worry about her weaker physique. With a few gestures, she swung her hand, pulling her Grimoire from her waist as she shouted. "Morgana! Let's go!" She called her newest supporter knowing the fire power would be important.

"Huhuhuhuhu-- HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" The diabolical laughter of her second wraith echoed out, the shrill cackling like grinding steel coalesced from black fog into an wraith wearing a tattered long trench coat and leather armors that hugged a feminine figure above the waist. Below the waste was only searing red ethereal fog and her fluttering coat, despite it's feminine figure the wraith was armed to the teeth with crowsbows, knives, needles, even a large arbalest on her back. "HAHAHAHA-- AT YOUR SERVICE~ Where do we start?!~" The wraith roared with delight, madness and derangement bleeding out of the torn maiden's mask that was it's face. The cheeks gouged out into a volatile and ear to ear grin as it seemed to froth and foam from delight by the mere thoughts of violence and conflict. The Wraith floated, clearly eager to let steel fly the moment Lucia even hinted at the faintest desire to take action. It's trigger finger so itchy it could make bystanders nervous that the faintest sound or peep might set it off.

After some of his dissonance had been dispelled by @Ilusa Nakhalee, he turned toward her and gave her an acknowledging nod before he charged toward the pustules-covered tentacle that hovered intimidatingly in the distance. Before he moved too far, however, the fleshy tendrils erected from the ground and wrapped tightly around his leg. Had he not brought his poleaxe down on the snake-like limbs, it might have crush his leg entirely.

"There are too many of these things! Can't get through, goddammit!" Rudiford shouted in frustration as he was overwhelmed with the nasty writhing appendages.

With his bright long hair fluttering behind him in the acidic mist, Rudiford used every ounce of his copious amount of swollen muscles to swing his poleaxe in a circle, cleaving down tentacles left and right. He stomped on a few and ripped the others with his bare hands. If there was a concept that could describe Rudiford at that moment, he would be the prime example of a dirty button smasher, who is winning purely on luck.

Just as he was about to finish his assault on Titanius' body, @Luca Siebrandt bumped into him, which distracted him long enough for a tentacle to wrap around his neck and pulled him away.

"Oh shit, yo, WAIT, DON'T LEAVE ME HERE!" he shouted as he squeezed his grip around the tentacle, trying his best to get it to loosen its grip.

Alpha was excited. The white-haired girl had promised her cakes! What wasn't there to love about that? But still, the girl was so far away and Alpha could only wait for so long before impatience and boredom began to kick in, further exemplified by the momentous rush of adrenaline from the toxic fog. She was heaving at this point, covering in Hector's fur (whom she had lifted up to her chest). It was odd and exhausting to be lifting a giant wolf like that but, with a sprinkle of illusion magic tricking her senses, she successfully ignored the pain and agony that her limbs were going through trying to keep the wolf up. The burst of strength, however, only lasted a minute and she was forced to release him from her grasp before long. Within moments, the stench of rotten cheese once again invaded her nostrils and she felt like vomiting for the third time that day.

She hadn't once thought of using that same illusory magic that she had been so proficient at in disguising the rancid smell.

"Hurry up already!" she called out to the rest of the raid party. There was a strange sense of foreboding dawning over her and a glance at her game HUD showed the most peculiar status affliction. Dissonance. It invoked a sense of deja vu and familiarity yet she couldn't quite place it. Ah well, best to get rid of it.

Just as she was waving her hand, ready to undo time as she opted to do for the most inane of tasks, she caught sight of Lucia and the necromancer's grisly companion. She decided to resolutely ignore Morgana's presence, for the sake of her sanity. "Hey Luce!" Alpha grinned, sending a bolt of purifying magic to the Duchess' way. "You got some disso-whatever on ya! Oooh, after this we should have a reunion party! It's been forever since I've seen you!"

"So this is Titanius," Darko muttered as he was seemingly entered in a trance. As he finally saw what was around him, he then looked at his hand. He had touched the white seal, and supposedly the seal melted his hand as he felt pain and flesh gushing out of his hands, but when he looked again, the hand was seemingly still intant, and he felt no pain there. "That is strange," he muttered as he then faced the monster. There were tentacles all around him, and the noxious fumes spread all around that Darko again coughed out blood. Using a handkerchief to cover his nose, he then sensed the situation around him. He then glanced at the eye; if he wanted to inflict more damage, he should target that area. He then glanced at one of the tentacles that were covered with pus, and it seemed from the massive magic energy from that tentacle, it would be the focal point of a large scale attack, and so he should stop that tentacle from inflicting serious damage.

As he ran forward towards that tentacle, his laced boots stomping furiously on the fleshy body of the monstrosity where he was in, he sensed that he was being enveloped with magic. It seemed to be a magic that enhanced his damaging capabilities, and he sensed that it was coming from a woman just near him (@Ceres). Tipping his hat to acknowledge the help, he then continued to charge at the tentacle, casting a spell with the cane in his right hand. A dark cloud started to form on his cane, and then, as he continued to chant, five dark chains shot out of the cloud and then started to wrap around the tentacle tightly, and then their pointed ends plunged at its flesh. The cloud then started to retract the chains, and the tentacle was becoming squeezed, and, signs of rot were starting to form on anywhere the chains touched. If he would continue his concentration as well as his chanting, the tentacle would be squished to bits. That was his estimation.

How many phrases could she find for such a scenario? Deeper into the rabbit hole? Nah. Into the belly of the beast, maybe?

Yes. That was fitting for the horrifying and grotesque arena, where every step was either hindered by some tentacle or answered with a resounding squish. She could but do her best to ignore the rankness of the air around her, the slight sting in her eye that only made sense when the former cultist warned them about the dangerous mist. Of course it would only make sense that on top of everything else, they had to worry about that.

Alkaid had pulled out the long, teal shawl she normally wore while adventuring and used it as a face mask as she advanced past the adventurers taking care of the tentacle, moving with surprising ease once she finally put two and two together that maybe, just maybe using Aeromancy to essentially hop around might've been better than trudging through tentacle-land.

The only decision other than that was where exactly to go. She briefly entertained the idea of attempting a double-jump esque move to hop across the green pool in the center of the arena to get at what she perceived as the monster's weakpoint, but at the same time felt the move was too risky, the close call she suffered against the Spider Queen an all too recent memory.

And so she sought gaps she could make easy landings on as she propelled herself around the lake, but not without giving the pus-filled tentacle her regards. After @Darko Ljubicic tied it up in chains, Alkaid hit it with a bolt of lightning that wrapped around the chains, illuminating the shadowy constructs in an ominous glow as the lightning sought after the freshly rotted material, all in an effort to course through other, deeper parts of the beast's body.

The first thing that went through her mind when she thought about the Final boss would be that it would be huge and ugly but she did expect it to be this big that she woild be inside the thing. She did not cringe or feel disgusted though. No, she was going to have so much fun. She could swing her sword anywhere she wanted to and it would be a hit on the monster. "This is the perfect example of the saying 'the bigger they are, the harder they fall' "She said, mostly to herself.

The small girl dug one of her swords into the floor and took note of the damage she did. It was minor but it was still satisfying. With a smirk, the girl stabbed her other sword onto the floor and began running, dragging her diggin weapons across the floor. After a while, she pulled her great swords out and swug it in air to remove the fluid on it.

Adrenaline surged in her veins and her attack accelerated midway through thanks to the skill used. Her ultra weapon cut the tendril clean, eliminating it in one fell swing. Her attack was gracious, quick, powerful and had form! Yet… Her heroic image crumbled to pieces when she gasped for air like a madwoman. Everyone had such an easy time with their attacks, why was it only big swords had to go through these huge cooldowns!?

She immediately regretted that thought when she saw @Yule ’s attempt at attacking the gargantuan tentacle. “Ayaya, that’s no good… Are you okay, Snow-White?” She giggled, “You keep the attacking and I will handle the rolling, oka--” As she readied her sword, her red eyes widened at the scene of @Rudiford Gwyndel being overwhelmed by the behemoth’s appendages. Guilt built up on her chest. Was that because of her? Oh dear god--

“Change of plans! I will be right back!” She said to Yule before heading out to help Rudi. Except that…

“Stay still boulder guy! I can’t aim like this!” She tried her best to aim and be careful with her attack — no friendly fire! At least not from a weapon that could potentially cleave him in two… Eventually, she managed to find a sweet spot and in one swing her weapon descended like a guillotine of death, severing the tentacle tormenting the orange-haired man. Meanwhile, the swordswoman gasped for air just like before. Damned cooldowns!

“N-now we’re *gasp* even, r-right? You should be more careful, ayayayaaaAaAA!?” Before any of them could react, one tentacle slithered behind her and coiled around her ankles before pulling her up, hanging the woman upside down and simulating a scene well known by many. “N-no good, h-help!!” She had the strength to free herself, but right now, her hands were unfortunately a bit busy.

    Reinforcements requested.
Do you wish to join the fight?

When the invite appeared, Ash didn't think long - there had been no ignoring the message sent out, the gathering crowds, the air of preparation for a major fight. But there'd been work, and life, and really Aisling couldn't get away with taking so many days off in a row-

To cut it short, he'd felt pretty down about having to miss out on what was probably a rare event. He had no reason to refuse.

Ash accepted the invite, and very shortly found himself in hell. Or at least, something very close to it. The ground roiled and cringed under his feet. The walls oozed and stared with a multitude of eyes. A few spirits had come along for the ride, and they clung close to him, filling the air with a wordless chatter of terror. This was not a good place to be, and there was no backing out.

"Oh god, oh god, this was not a good idea-"

A massive eye in the distance glared at the massed players, and every gamer instinct Ash had screamed Weak point! Weak point! Yet getting to that weak point wouldn't be easy, not with the forest of fleshy limbs in the way, and no skills that would let him slip through. What he had was a sword and a destination, and putting the two together gave him his path. He pushed forward, trying to keep the spraying blood out of his mouth and nose as he hacked a path forward.

Darko continued maintaining the grip of the chains, mustering his willpower while chanting more Latin words to strengthen the chains' power. He needed to restrain the tentacle since if he did not, he was foreseeing danger to the entire party if it would be left alive. Maybe it would spill noxious poison, or summon more tentacles, maybe even gastric acid would flood the cavity. Only one shot was all it would take so that his restraining chains would take great effect on the tentacle so that it could not harm the people within this area.

But as he was trying to maintain his composure as he was continuously chanting the spell, it seemed that the poison around the area was continuing to take a toll on his psyche. His brain was becoming so muddled that his chants were starting to get garbled. It would seem that he could not continue for much longer, and so he would try to grip the tentacle with his chains as much as he could.

His right eye starting to glow purple as the magic on the chains becoming intensified and causing more rot on the tentacle as the cloud greatly pulled on it, Darko continued to chant as he shouted his chant words, hoping that someone would hear him and send help. Or else they would be screwed. ALL OF THEM.

In comparison to the horrors she had witnessed with both Alric and Madison on her side during her time on the western Astorean border, she had barely managed to know what to do other than aimlessly looking for a source for such events until she stumbled upon it. Now, after a reunion with the royals had enlightened most of the people present, she no longer had the comfort of knowing others wouldn't suffer the consequences of her failures. She wasn't lacking the knowledge. She knew what this... thing was capable of.

''I'll see you both when this thing has been dealt with... Try not to die, alright?'' She had spent most of her time resting with both @Iván Carl and @Madison Freebird before they reached the boss room, finding some comfort in the silence the two offered. Portia's lips curved upwards to form a smile on the porcelain features of the female, who approached the two of them and offered her goodbyes with two light strikes of her opened palms to their backs in a clearly playful gesture.

It was a goodbye, for now, at least.

With the left corner of her mouth tight in silent laughter, she began to dart through the giant area in search for an optimal position to execute her attacks, swapping out her characteristic gauntlets for the mysterious shard that enhanced her magical prowess with an essence of its own. There were no clear targets in her mind, and rather than attacking those tendrils found on every corner and possible place, she kept looking for a critical area that would raise the party's survivability: that one creepy looking eye staring from the opposite corner from where they had all come from.

It was a wild guess and she had no indication whatsoever that her small plan would work, but as far as she knew, everyone else was entertained with different opponents, and there was nothing stopping her from actually trying and see what she could accomplish on her own. This was the beast that almost took her life, and it was time for Portia to get back at it. The sparks danced along her fists for a matter of seconds, energy collecting all around them before she batted both of her hands forward, releasing the arcane essence in the shape of two identical bursts of cerulean light.

    Time for round two.

@Janet Reilly and @Corvella soon joined Iván and @Haru, making it an official Witch Ops disrupt party. Sure, there were other guys, too, but they were forgettable supporting characters at best. Witch Ops were the main heroes of this story, despite the fact that Iván had not heard from their commander, @Grand Witch Majolica, yet. She was most probably busy dealing with something else, something more important. Commanders were like that, weren't they? They had too much on their plate, worrying about everyone and everything. She can't be everywhere at the same time. This task, this task was left to them, and Iván was going to make sure they, or he at least, did his part to make Witch Ops proud. Also, he was already doing the thing, so might as well.

Iván channeled his illusion magic once more, intending to disrupt the pus tentacle thing agan, and kept his summoned magical familiar, a smaller version of the Snow-Quilled Guardian from the Spire, on the offensive. It wasn't biting or eating the tentacle, was it? Nah, it was probably just poking it with his spikes or something. Iván had other things to worry about than his summon's diet. He had to focus on his magic, on his disruptive illusion spell, to end whatever horror this tentacle was scheduled to shower them with. With the Witch Ops helping him do just that, he was pretty confident that they, him mostly, would end up saving the day. Well, with this part of this raid, anyway. There was still that eye and that body and he wasn't even sure that this was their end of the day. Purple god-machine-thing knew there was always another challenge in the horizon.

Is it just me or am I acing this part of the raid? Iván smirked from behind his mask. I should get an awesome reward for this. Like a golden curry bowl or something. His attention was momentarily caught by an undead girl who suddenly turned into some sort of armor, something that reminded him of the Ant Queen's own, before he finally realized who was with that undead girl. @Lucia Mierz? Crap. Is she going to betray us again? Wait, I'm Witch Ops now, too. Cool.

The gargantuan pus tentacle whisked clumsily in the air, its movement lumbering from the weight of the pus the swollen sacs on its skin could barely contain. When it hovered above the ground, charging up its energy for a big attack, a number of players attempted to hinder it. However, their effort was barely enough as they disrupted its massive attack, which would have flattened a few of them.

The pus tentacle fell, hitting zone 4, 7, and 12. When it crashed into the acid lake, the residue splashed onto everyone in zone 8, slightly damaging them. If the acid got inside their armor, the burning sensation would start and it would not stop, even after they do everything to wipe the acid off.

When the tip of the tentacle crashed into the extended wall on zone 4 and 11, a few of the swollen pustules popped, releasing a torrent of yellowish-white liquid that covered everyone who was within its proximity.

Stickiness aside, the stench was so foul it knocked a few people unconscious. Any poor soul who was unfortunate enough to get the liquid in one of their orifices would be retching on the ground. The tangy bitterness was strangely reminiscent of rotten fish, it was a taste they will never be able to forget for as long as they live.
