Cel carefully stepped into the... wherever the whatever this was. Vile: that's what it was. There really was no other word for it... aside from the several that could logically be found in a thesaurus.... those probably would work too. It was one thing to have dark, flail-y tentacles all over the place, but this just reminded her of why Biology was one of her lowest grade scores out in the real world. Blech. Yep: this was definitely an ugly, hideous thing that the world could do without.

Celestine whipped around the area, each leap-like step accompanied by a gust of air. As a general rule: when a gigantic beastie woke up to wreck people who made it mad, you wanted to be where said people weren't. This spot seemed good. Close enough to the points of interest, without being too near the crowd of slowpokes. That, and she wanted nothing to do with the nastiness going on in that other corner.

It was then that Cel noticed a vaguely familiar face. The only other person who seemed to be sharing her 'alone zone.' Surely she knew her from somewhere...

"Saaaaaaay..." she finally called to @Alkaid Zexis, "You are looking of the familiarity, but I can not do you the place. Did I do you a meet in that house of the creepies...? Or maybe it was the apple tree...? Oh, do the moment a wait, I should be giving this thingy of uglies the stabbing."

Summoning an illusionary dagger in her hand, Cel flung it at the wall, where it lodged itself. Though no physical damage seemed to occur, maybe this thing had a mind to harm. It was worth a try.

"Maybe it was during the penguin whackings..."

Was it over? Yes...It was but the way it was over..."Those people stayed behind." She muttered to herself as she watched the building collapse when they reached at a safe distance, despite knowing it's a game something inside her still made it hard to feel neutral giving her the same exact emotions as she would feel in real life.

What exactly is this game anyway?
Soon all she could hear were the conversations between the beaten, wounded players as they all stopped to patch up and prepare for another adventure. She used the help of a healer to max her HP and EN while trying to find her saviour (@Janet Reilly) again, Janet...must have been her name if she's not mistaken but on their way to the chamber she still didn't manage to find her.

The place they all entered was definitely bringing a sense of fear to her especially because of the noises and the little details to it like the small creatures on the floor that screamed everytime someone stepped on them, to the cute seal that despite looking so tempting to touch Rias held her hands away from it. All the tentacles and eyes gave her the chills but the players managed to bring her back the spirit as she watched them take out their weapons and attack the two enemies. "Guess I won't be slacking." Looking around the area she watched as the party started spreading around the map and so she moved along with a few more of them.

Getting a spot that was right beside the big eye, her hand slide up to put her hood on along with the mask around her mouth and nose to follow Ivans instructions and protect her from the gas. Rias hesitated to attack at first because she didn't want the gaze to be on her but seeing as the eye wasn't looking at her side she would step with one knee down and aim for the eyeball, the action would give her a better aim so the arrow won't miss but the creatures on the floor still made her cautious just in case any of them tries to attack her.

Ash had no time to react as the massive tentacle came crashing down on top of him... or at least, very nearly. There was the sound, the movement of air, the flash out of the corner of his eye, all things that were enhanced enough that he noticed the impending danger. He turned and bolted back through his roughly hewn corridor, sliding away just as it crashed to the ground with a boom and a splash of burning acid and rancid pus.

A lot of which, unfortunately, got on him. Part of him wanted to swear. The other part was desperately trying to avoid the urge to open his mouth, lest the pus go from being an unpleasant odor to an unpleasant taste.

Well, that looks like a target to aim for, he thought, wiping his mouth with his sleeve. He scanned the surface, looking for a place that would be safe enough to hit, and saw what seemed to be a clear patch of skin. It was hard to be sure, though... Ash struck, his sword swiping through flesh, and he had only a moment to cover his mouth before he was sprayed with more pus.

"Ffffff.... someone had way too much fun designing these smells-!"

_____From one battle to the next it seemed. A light sigh escaped Kaede’s lips as she watched the fire few people go right into the action while she, tipped a wine bottle to her lips and relaxed. The bottle tipping more as Kaede blinked, her gaze growing slightly annoyed as she moved it from her lips and tipped it over. Not even a spare drop, her gaze shifting more into anger as she reached for her dagger and staggered for a moment. Frame stepping forward as Kaede looked at the giant eyeball and mumbled lightly.

”Let’s get this over with, I’m officially out of wine to drink now.”

_____Kaede slowly rolled her shoulders as she started running forward, the acid not exactly posing her mind a thread at the moment. Frame encasing is cosmic energy as Kaede’s feet touched the acid and she shot forward, cosmic energy blasting from her hands as she rushed to get out of the burning toes area and as close to the eye as she felt was safe for her current plan of action. Hands rising before the mage as energy charged up.

_____After a few moments the black orb glowed light purple, and two dark purple rings rapidly circled around it before Kaede pushed her hands forward and started her rushed attack for the eyeball. Few things got Kaede serious, and not having any drinks was one of them. And while the idea her rush forward could cause her alot of pain, she wanted more wine and the risk was worth it in her book. Hands rising over her head as she got her next attack ready.

After exchanging a few words, Yukisa was prepared to run back into the museum to rescue whoever was left… but he was too late. All he could do was watch in horror as the structure collapsed on whoever remained inside, his heart wrenching. There were still so many inside… no way they would survive that, right?

Regardless of the tragedy that just befell a big chunk of their raid party, they pressed forth.

The deeper down the rabbit hole they went, the weirder things got. Concrete gradually morphed into flesh. It was like going down a massive creature’s throat, all the way to the stomach.

When they had arrived inside, the surroundings definitely were not pleasant. Tentacles wriggled in the air and the walls seemed to shift as though they were alive.

Of course, no one wasted time in acting. Yuki, unlike most of the others stopped to look around. This was a boss in a video game, right? And if there was one important rule to remember about boss fights… every boss has a weak point.

He glanced around quickly, searching for anything glaringly obvious. There was a tentacle, pools of acid, and…

‘Bingo,’ he thought, eyes locking onto a massive eye in the corner of the room. It was at the opposite end of the room from him, however it was worth the shot.

And it seemed he wasn’t the only one to think that.

As he ran towards the bulging eye, he glanced sideways and saw a streak of white doing the same…

His eyes widened. Running not too far from him was @Portia Ahrens , and seeing her almost caused him to trip into the pool of acid he was zooming through.

He wanted to shout to her. He wanted to rush to her side so they could fight again, like old times. But instead he shook his head and turned to look ahead, focusing on the task at hand. She wouldn’t appreciate it if he got in her way.

When the boy was in range of the eye, he halted and took a deep breath, spreading his arms out slightly. The air around the eye began to crackle, small sparks of electricity visible in it. Then, lightning erupted, zapping Titanius’ Gaze… unfortunately, he hadn’t charged it quite enough to deal significant damage, and so the attack didn’t do quite as much as he hoped for.

Thankfully, they had been given some time to rest. Sadly, it seemed like this battle would be going on for a fair while. That said, Velka was ready for the long haul. Rested and healed from the previous battle, she was painfully aware of how limited her weapon ranges were, especially since she couldn't dash across the battlefield. Yet.

While she had the perfect strike on the fallen tentacle, she was forced to dodge an errant spurt of pus which had an unfortunate effect on the attack. She barely grazed the tentacle but given its position, the strike still did a fair amount of damage. Better than nothing, she supposed.

This was his time to shine! The moment of truth, of glory, of fame! Kingoda looked around the battlefield with excitement – the sort of joy and excitement a dog might have when it's owner yells that it's time to eat or go on a walk. The sort of excitement that lasts just long enough to realize that the owner is taking you to the vet… or in this case, that you'll probably die.

Whatever sound came out of his throat could only be compared to that of a dying possum, but he stepped forward nonetheless. There were maidens here to save, to impress! Running away with his tail between his legs would garner him ill will from them, and he couldn't have that.

He scanned the battlefield, eyes landing on the atrocious eye staring back at him from across. A cold, sickly feeling ached in his bones. He diverted his gaze, instead focusing on the gorgeous @Portia Ahrens nearby. What on earth was she doing so close to that creepy thing?!

"OI!" he shouted, already heading towards her and the others there. "TAKE THIS, YOU MASSIVE EYEBALL!"

The wind that thrust him through the acid (Ouch! That hurt!) and next to Portia, @Kaede Hoshi, @Yukisa and @Rias quickly redirected itself from his legs to his hands. He landed with a roll before thrusting his hands out towards the eyeball, sending forth a cutting stream of wind towards it. It was like… several papercuts of wind. THAT had to hurt, at least a little!

He huffed and puffed, grinning as he wiped away at the sweat beading on his forehead. He glanced to the two others near him. "What'cha think of that, huh? Looked pretty cool, huh?!" Honestly, he should've taken the Caenis race – anybody watching him can practically see the wagging of his non-existent tail right now as he awaits praise.

Raid had only just began his adventure into the world of Terrasphere when he was called to action against the monster Titanius. It seemed to be an event of epic proportions and even though Raid had hardly left the starting area, he figured it would be an interesting thing to be part of. The moment he found himself before this gargantuan mass only two words came out of Raid's mouth.

    "Oh shit."

Even though it was just a creature in a game, he couldn't shake the feeling that this monstrosity was truly dangerous. It seemed the entire area was this enormous creature. everywhere around him people were already doing their best to fight off the mass of tentacles and other things.

"Well, I came here with a purpose. Let's do this!"

Raid quickly scanned around for the first appropriate target to char with his magic. It appeared that a giant oozing tentacle laying down across a massive pool of acid was a major target. He could see a player near the tentacle take a slash at it and receive a face full of pus for his efforts.

"This seems as good a target as any."

Holding out his arms and conjuring fire, Raid prepared to attack. Suddenly the flames engulfed Raid's arms threatening to climb to his face causing a momentary shock, however then the fire quickly receded and shot out toward the target intended. Raid watched the fireball quickly approach the tentacle with the expectation of at least a mild amount of damage. However as the blast hit the tentacle, Raids watched in silent awe as his fire ball detonated on impact with the tentacle sending out a huge rippling shock wave of heat, energy and fire. As the smoke cleared, Raid could see the now still mass of charred flesh that was once the gargantuan tentacle.

He blinked. Raid had not thought he would be capable of such destruction so early in the game, if ever! Looking around at nearby players that witnessed his attack, Raid felt he should say something clever. Perhaps a joke about having octopus for dinner. No, he wasn't supposed to act lame here. So instead he shrugged and acted unexcited.

"Hm. I expected more from this Monstrosity."

Then without another glance he turned away from the fallen tentacle and began to move onward to the next target he could find. Nailed it!

Alkaid stumbled a bit as she landed, making note not to try that again if she could help it. Doing a drive-by while you in the air was cool and all, but not face planting into a heap of gore was better.

With that in mind, Alkaid continued to err on the side of caution. She had her Astral Magic kicking, deck at the ready. If some jerk tentacle decided to come by, she'd know well beforehand, and from there she could plan her approach to the Gaze with utter ease. Or at least that was the idea, up until Alkaid heard a familiar voice. One she recognized more by the pattern of speech.

A smile half-formed on her lips before she even turned around. Splitting her attention from her spell, she allowed her cards to float at angle from her as she mimed deep thought, "Penguin...Penguin....Oh! The one that caught on fire!" Yes, that one. The one saved by the power of hugs!

Making a sage nod, she continued on, "I must've missed you there. And here I was thinking of E.P. That noisy bird of Dor--Nora's." The woman paused, then, recalling that there was indeed an Aeromancer at the Prinny Event. One who kicked up quite a bit of wind, or at least more than she usually could herself. Which brought her back to the event at hand. "Also, if you want a clear path to that weird eye up ahead, I can show you one. You could even see how it looks to use Astral Magic."

Provided the girl agreed, Alkaid planned to use illusion magic to show Celestine phantom-like images of which not-so-little tentacles might try to nab her as she drew close so that she could focus on building up a spell and "highlight" nearby areas where she could deliver some more sweet, wonderful pain. Not that Alkaid minded keeping Astral's subtle hand to herself.

Spawning in to the world boss Dungeon, Daegon was excited. He could feel his heart beating in his chest as the light surrounding him faded and the area become quickly dark. Daegon held his hand over his brow, despite the featureless mask, and began peering around for what was going on. @Raid Had already jumped into the fight before @Jericho Cross and himself had gotten into the event.

"I bet he has already gotten in on some of the fun." Daegon thought to himself has he eccentrically looked around. as his eyes adjusted to the fire light the sight before him was... gross. "WHAT THE..." he exclaimed as he leapt to the side, slipping on some of the pus and grime from the boss, his arms flailing about to keep himself stable. He held back his massive urge to vomit, leaning forward and grasping his stomach.

Jericho spawned in at that moment and Daegon quickly rectified himself to save face. Looking around the room two big things stuck out. First: The disgusting giant eye in the corner of the room. Second was the ten million times more disgusting tentacle right in front of him with giant pustules with chunky ooze leaking out of it. Daegon barely paid attention to the lore bits to this section and was more or less just excited to be in on a world boss just a few days after joining the game, and all he knew was this was some Cthulhu style boss but he never thought it was going to be this gross!

Seeing Jericho eyeing the giant eye in the corner, Daegon knew what was up. Without saying so much as a word Daegon began leaping out and vaulting over various disgusting bits that he would rather not think about.

"Try to keep up!" Daegon said as he flipped around in mid air and called out to Jericho. Daegon then turned around and began throwing globs of entropic energy all over the place. The energy festers and and sparks with a dark purple energy making various tentacles and fleshy walls vulnerable and corrupted.

Jericho dropped in to the boss fight. It was only his first day and he was being dragged into world wide bosses? Cool! Looking around he noticed @Raid and @Daegon Malak. Great he was among friends. He scanned the field seeing the gore of what seemed to once be a part of the creature. Seems things were already getting intense.

He looked upon the eye of the beast and he knew that would be his eventually target. Just had to get there first. Seems Daegon knew what his goal was as he shouted back at him. "You got it!" He ran just behind him watching as he threw his globules on thee dark energy. Watching that he went in for a swing on the now softened bodies! Stabbing and tearing with a violent rip.

"First blood!" He laughed excited at the prospect of the new game. "Quick we got to head for the gold Daegon!" He said readying to move again. The fun was only beginning! "C'mon Raid! Stop being so slow!"

The core of Titanius made the crumbling museum with the eyeball spiders and the corrupted spider queen look mild in comparison. It took a lot of effort for Vina not to vomit, and her entire face was green as she made her way into a nightmare together with the rest of the group. Fjær was trying his best to provide some support by placing a wing around her head, but the bird himself was also having trouble with place, his feathers sticking together and everything screaming at him to fly away now.

Shaking her head Vina looked around, giving her saviour @Rellan Shard a smile both grateful and mischievous. She'd felt the groping, but even in a situation like this she wasn't going to object to something like that. She also saw that multiple players were dashing ahead to attack the giant... dangling... eyeball. Yeugh.

    Everyone, do your best...

She whispered it to herself more than addressing anyone in particular, hoping they'd all come through this alive. She herself wasn't planning to do any attacking, but she'd do her best to back them up. For example, one of the people who helped take care of the tentacle before it smashed all of them looked like the miasma of the Dissonance was bearing heavily on him. Holding her staff in front of her Vina focused on Haru, beginning a chant to at least alleviate his burden.

In the face of bad dreams
We all share the same fear
    Nothing is what it seems
You can't trust what you hear

But in the end the dawn will come
The sun will banish the dark
As long as you don't succumb
You'll wake up to the song of the lark

Not exactly a masterpiece, but nevertheless the magic took hold and swirled around Haru, flowing through him and weakening the Dissonance trying to pull his mind into despair.

Raid looked toward his friends, @Deagon Malak and @Jericho Cross as they laughed running past him and sighed. Perhaps it had been a mistake telling them about his acquiring of Terrasphere. They could be problematic in establishing the kind of person he was trying to be here.

    No, it's fine.

He muttered to himself followed by another sigh. They were good people, friends of his that he had met online on an RP site a long time ago. They knew the importance of being a different person in something like this. Already Raid could tell from the small time he had seen them here they were putting on personas of their own. It would be fine, this will be fun.

Raid noticed a few eyes on him as he continued to walk. The attack he had made moments ago felt like it wasn't something he was going to be able to pull off again any time soon. Perhaps it would be best for him to conserve energy and keep moving for now. He would wait until more attention was drawn elsewhere or he simply moved further away. The previous attack while awesome, also kind of felt like a hard act to follow.

Still he smiled to himself, barely able to contain the joy rising in his chest. This was exactly what he wanted Raid to be. Things were going great.

As Sean watched the giant tentacle fall onto the battlefield-quite spectacularly, he might add-he couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. I've seen enough hentai to know where this is going. No, this isn't time for joking around. This thing can seriously hurt us, we gotta take it out. Shaking his head, he set is sights on the current only immediate threat: the huge eye. After getting within range of attacking the eye with his magic, Sean held up his left hand, which was supported by his right hand. "Firebolt!" He shouted, sending a bolt of fire off at the eye.

The stench was enough to make Madison wish she had invested a bit of MP into Aeromancy. Just enough to make a little breeze to clear the air around her. But in the meantime, she'd deal with being inside the body of basically a giant dead animal, seasoned with more squick than absolutely necessary.

All around her, things pulsated, squirmed, popped, and vibrated. Vile grossness assaulted her every sense as she tried to steady herself.

Reluctant to open her mouth to say anything out of fear that something other than words would come out, Maddy cast a pair of thumbs up at both @Lucia Mierz and @Portia Ahrens before moving to join the fray. As she ran west, a lumpy tumor tentacle as thick as a tree and as tall as her burst up from the ground squishy, mucous-coated surface of the titan's innards or whatever.

"Aaaahh, shit!" The plague mage was thrown off balance for a moment, nearly falling on her ass and ruining her new set of armor. She was certain that she'd never be able to wash the fishy stench of the place out of the clothes in the first place; she had no intention of staining them as well.

As the tentacle prepared to lash out at her, Madison shuffled up her tarot deck. The cards crackled with lightning as they sprung from hand to hand. Not wanting to waste time selecting a spell, she drew a random card from the deck and flashed it at her target.
