Personality
Theo was taught not to inconvenience others when he could help it. As such, he has grown to place much stronger emphasis on the needs of others than on his own needs. This had lead to him being quite a pushover whenever people ask for something, and to always make good on his promises to others. Theo quickly trusts others and tries to believe that they’ll do the same to him.
Due to him doing his best to be selfless, he indulges himself when he thinks it won't hurt anyone else. Binging on sweets and spending too much money is a common thing for Theo. This indulgent behavior is what drew him to Terrasphere, as it was a fun way to spend his time without inconveniencing anyone. The most selfish desire Theo is that for romance. He longs for some love but finds it hard to attract others given his sometimes crass sense of humor and weak willpower. He often over-imagines the significance of all of his interactions, causing him to do things such as think his relationships with others are much deeper than they are, or that someone is romantically interested in him when they were just being nice.
When playing Rivers, Theo tries to seem cool and heroic. He hopes to romanticly connect with someone over Terrasphere, and thinks that acting cool and heroic is the best way. Thus, he chose a fighting style and skills which he thinks are the epitome of "cool". Despite trying to seem cool, he's still a pushover and naive, especially for a pretty face.

Biography
Theo's parents instilled in him from an early age that he needed to be as helpful as possible when he could. As such, he put the needs of others above himself at every turn. This, combined with the high likelihood that he'd go to college gave him the mentality that his "time" would come. Despite actually caring about those around him, he did long for the time to come when things would get markedly better for him. He was told constantly that he could worry about things like finding a wife and enjoying his spare time after he finished college.
As he moved away from his small town for college, Theo found quickly that others weren't quite like him. Everyone around him was still in college, but were enjoying their free time, dating, and otherwise enjoying the comforts of life. This confused him greatly, but he dove into indulgent behavior on a smaller scale, such as eating more sweets than he was allowed as a kid and spending too much money on video games and comics.
With his new indulgent behavior, Theo's tried to date despite not yet finishing college. It's had mostly negative success. Shocking as it may be, most people in college have already had dating experience and expected that of the people they dated. But, Theo knew that he would eventually be appealing after he graduated and had a good job.
When he heard about Terrasphere, Theo was interested as he was always a fan of video games. He learned about the social aspect of it and was on board. One day, he saw an email from an unknown email. Theo immediately trusted the email and opened it. Once he knew what it was, he was filled with excitement for the game and jumped online...
