  1. Catharina followed Alphabet without a word out of her mouth. She was still a bit wary about the whole new dungeon kind of thing. They bounced into a slime, startled by the sudden monster Cath froze in place. Her hand going to her weapon but she saw Alphabet ready for action. ‘’Don’t worry, you can do it!’’ She tried to cheer the girl on. It was a beginners dungeon, she should be fine and if not, well she would jump in and help to slay the slime.

Her gaze passed the slime to see a guy standing in the next room. He seemed adamant to wait and see. Assuming from his gear, he wasn’t new like they were. Probably just helping out. Once the monster was gone the guy waved and introduced himself. Catharina gave a solid nod and smiled. ‘’Catharina, I just jumped on his wagon.’’ She shortly looked at the blue haired girl, Trinity, Cath’s HUD informed her.

She walked after the guide, who hadn’t said a word. ‘’Does anyone know where this girl is leading us?’’ They were walking for a while. Entering the new area, Trinity was way too happy. They had..done it? A bit confused Catharina looked at the floating letters and then Trinity. ‘’Uhm, alright..yay?’’ She looked at the others, not sure what they thought of this.

’Oh, pidgeon shit.’’ Catharina muttered as she turned around. A big ugly Ogre was right behind them. ‘’Roland, watch out!’’ She yelled, backing a few steps away from the monster until she took her shitty weapon and went for a pierce.

  2. Almost as if on rails, Roland found his little group making its way to the next cavern. In the end he wasn’t sure who had taken care of the slime, in fact he thought it managed to slip past the two newcomers as neither actually actively attacked it. Still they both at least casually greeted him, the shier of the two practically collapsing in on herself as she did so. None of this phased their guide as she cheerfully led on though. “The AI here is so advanced, I don’t understand why she seems at such a lower level, something here isn’t as it seems.” Roland pondered to himself as he followed in suit anyway.

Eventually they made their way to a dead end, at which point the girl launched into some brief congratulations. Midway through, however, they were greeted by a monster from behind. It was a large ogre, which had somehow appeared, club in hand directly behind Roland. Barley paying it any mind, Roland unsheathed a blade, and parried its surprise attack with relative ease, before moving forward and thrusting his second blade deep into its sternum. The Ogre coughed up a small amount of blood before sluggishly falling to the floor with a thud.

  3. Alpha's eyes widened as she heard Trinity's warnings and, upon doing so, quickly turned around to see a gigantic ogre roaring and lifting its club, prepared to strike Roland. Her heart stopped for a moment before she quickly grabbed the back of the man's shirt, hoping that she was strong enough, and pulled all of her weight behind her to try and pull the man out of harm's way. She wasn't sure if she managed to get the man to safety or not as she landed, bottom first, onto the ground with scratched palms from a tight grip. She wasn't the strongest nor the tallest, which seemed to have at least some negative effect on her current level of strength. She groaned, her butt aching from the sudden impact. She thought she had heard another sound; a loud thump from a source that she couldn't identify. She gave it little mind in her state of exhilaration.

"Watch out!" she huffed, panting with her head down and sightless to what could be happening around her. She would've known, if she had more time to think, that the late warning would be useless and have little consequence in assisting her three companions, but she had to try. As she breathed, she felt a little slimy appendage rub against her hand and, opening her eyes, she saw the familiar, one-eyed creature slipping along the ground. She really hoped the taming thing had worked and, with her fingers crossed, she tried commanding it. "Could you try to fight that thing?" she pointed to the place where she had last seen the ogre, still too exhausted to lift her head. She had a distinct feeling that her ability to poke things in the eye with a stick would do nothing over the monster which loomed over them.

The adventurers had done it! Trinity ran up to them as the ogre that was likely supposed to be a practice boss fell to the ground. The slime had ignored the party and was allowed to escape. So there was nothing left! Trinity's lessons had been taught! The mascot girl did yet another cheer for her heroes! They were doing great at this!

"Wow guys! You're a super great team! You should hang around more and maybe even friend each other by using the friend option! Hmmm.... I didn't teach that yet did I? Welp, maybe next time hahaha!"

The blue haired girl would go around the trio and gesture down the hallway enthusiastically. As if the walk back was going to be extremely exciting. Then she would wait for them to head off. If any of them asked for a reward....

"Hahaha, silly! The things you learned here are rewards! Now you're totally ready for more adventures! Don't worry, there are no monster encounters anymore in this instance!"

If they asked why she was not going with them...

"Hmmm? Me? Oh no worries! Trinity will be fine now that you finished the tutorial. No monsters are going to generate anymore! So I'll be fine. I have a lot of things to do as a mascot ya know! Can't always be with you guys! Awww.... I'm sorry if you like me that much! We'll meet again for sure kay?!"
