The eye was moving. How did an eye move like that!? Luna really wasn't sure, but this whole situation was really starting to get tiring and make her stomach quake and shudder, like she needed to vomit but had nothing to throw up. It was a pretty awful sensation and nothing about fighting this damn thing made any real sense. She was pretty sure between everything they'd thrown at it, enough damage had been done to it to seriously harm some sort of castle fortress or something.

Still, she couldn't afford to stop and worry about her own state of wellbeing now. Separated from the people she'd come with and cared about, the only thing she could really do was keep fighting until Titanius finally fell and died. Who cared about her? If she died nobody would stop to mourn or feel grief. So all she could do was make sure that she didn't die.

Natiri leapt in front of her as a magical circle burst to life, around her staff and around Natiri's opened jaws as an orb of arcane energy started to bubble to life, purple and reds mixing together to create such a deep purple it appeared black. She'd used this spell before, but never had she poured this much power into it. The last time, the ball had only been the size of a pingpong ball, though now it rivalled a tennis ball in size. Such a dense orb of arcane energy.

Her eye glinted blood red as the ruby in her staff gleamed. "7 Centimeter Tiger Cannon!" The ball in front of Natiri's jaws wobbled and then exploded outwards, a condensed wave of destruction flying towards Titanius' Gaze.

Well then, it appeared that the big eye of Titanius had decided to go and roll itself in the central area of acid, which, while it was probably painful, painful acid, also moved it into a range where Ashnor could run to it and attack. As Ashnor approached the edge of the acidic lake, he sighs and shakes his head a moment before grabbing his hammer. Ugh, well this might turn out to be a bad idea later on.

As Ashnor took the first stride into the shallow acid lake, he nearly trips due to the jolt of pain he feels from the acid's contact on his skin. Recovering from the pain, Ashnor moves as fast as he can through the towards the where the eye hung. Upon reaching the underside of the eye, Ashnor looks around before creating a rock pillar - one of his most used geomancy spell - below him to raise him up to the eye. Ashnor gives the Eye's lid a few good smacks with his war hammer before he is forced to brace for a fall into the acid. as the pillar's base below him starts to crumble.

    She couldn’t concentrate.

The heaving had stopped and Rellan had finally begun to regain control of her body. Well, she always had control, but the way she’d been vomiting due to the shower of puss made her feel extremely not in control of anything. But her vision cleared and eventually Rellan mastered standing on her own two feet again, a feat she was very proud of at the current moment. She saw a few people around her, though they were unrecognizable blobs at this point. She felt safer knowing that there were people that were willing to watch her back despite not knowing who she was.

Chaos had erupted everywhere, again, but it was different this time. There was a sort of grim determination that hung in the air so thick that Rellan could almost taste it. The eye Rellan had been…‘eyeing’ had moved in her time down, and it was hanging low over the lake of acid. The martial artist took a moment to tap her temple with an index finger to look over the battlefield. The Giant Eye was still the best shot at defeating this thing as quickly as possible, but it was going to cost her if no one ended up healing her.

    ‘You’ll fail.’

The brunette stopped short, eyes wide as she whipped around to look behind her. There stood…herself, only she was younger. Clutched to her chest was a rabbit, the same one that was still on her bed back home in the real world. Rellan gaped as she stared at her younger self, watching as blood began to pool at her tear ducts, then fall when the blood droplets began to get too heavy.

    ‘You’ll always fail.’

She blinked and it was gone. Rellan slowly let out a rattling, shaky breath before she swallowed hard. A low growl came from the back of her throat, very much like a large feline, before she turned again, facing the Giant Eye and giving a throaty, feral scream before rushing into the shallow pool of acid, or whatever it was, and leapt towards the Giant Eye with the full intention of ripping it apart.

Libitina was no longer satisfied by just beating the inside of the monster. No, after having to taste the disgusting fluid coming out of the monster she wanted to do much more damage, which is why she began moving to find a place that would really hurt the monster the most. She started walking, only stopping when she noticed a giant eye.

"Hey. Remember me?" She asked to the giant eye in front of her. She waited a few seconds before she started talking again. "One of your tentacles entered the zone I was in and ended up covering me in this disgusting fluid. I even had to taste this thing which was absolutely gross. My uncle makes better food so you could guess just how bad it was"
No response. She sighed and used her foot to stab the eye right in the middle.

"Doesn't matter whether you can understand me or not because you are dead meat" she dug the heel of her foot deeper into the eye before pulling it out. She was surprised to see that her foot did a decent amount of damage.

She then began walking away, not wanting to stay in the acid pool zone any longer. Upon reaching another zone, she noticed the little girl @Alphabet Chocolate and was pleased to see she was doing well and was in a happy mood

Rivers watched in awe and anticipation as the eye of the corner moved into the green pool right in front of him. It was so close...he could touch it. And he would. He would join the rush of players around him and charge towards the enemy. He rushed forward towards the enemy without a moment's hesitation and continued the charge until his feet hit the green liquid.

"Dicks," he cursed. He'd been right the first time to want to avoid this liquid. It had to be acid. Acid was fitting. He had to stand in acid to hurt this beast? That felt unbalanced, but there was no turning back now. All of his comrades were fighting and they were all counting on him to do his fair share. He pounded on his knees before continuing to run towards the enemy.

Along the way, Rivers noticed other players who were hesitating as he had. He wouldn't offer any words of encouragement; it wasn't cool to give speeches in the middle of a battle. Running up, he aimed an attack at the ominous eye in the pool. Surely this was the attack that would turn the tides of the battle to his side!
The creature barely seemed to notice his presence even after his attack. That was disheartening. Of course, he knew that he was a new player, but that he'd wanted to do some damage so his fellow players could rest easier. Well, he hoped no one would notice that he'd done barely any damage because that was the least cool thing that'd ever happened to him.

Rivers knew he had to keep attacking with everyone else. It didn't seem like there were any other enemies, so everyone could focus their fire on Titanius. "HIT IT TILL IT BREAKS!" Rivers called out to his fellow players, trying to seem heroic.

That was something a cool hero would say right?

Madison heard @Lucia Mierz's calls for help as the battle progressed as she was shuffling up for her next move.

The plague witch nodded in her friend's direction. "Just let me know when you need a boost," she hollered over the din of battle.

Titanius's eye shifted position, the nerves connecting it to the rest of the body moving around, grabbing onto the slimy surface of the titan's insides with fresh tendrils until it positioned itself over the smoking pool of acidic liquid in the middle of the area. Her skin tingled with fresh burns as she decided what to do next.

Heal herself? Or maybe go on the offensive?

She knew that thing floating over the pool meant the entire group was probably in for a bad time pretty quick. Madison decided to strike out, joining the others in trying to kill the creature before anything worse could happen.

Madison ripped three cards off the top of her deck, focusing her scattered thoughts in the fog of pain that clouded her mind. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough--while her withering hex charged up and focused itself in the floating triangle formed by the cards, it misfired. A bolt of pure hatred glanced hit left of center, not dealing as much damage as she intended.

Definitely need to stick to healing, the witch hissed through clenched teeth as she shuffled her deck once more.

All this attacking made Corvella very, very tired. She quickly turned into a black and white doodle for the rest of the battle because of the incurable tiredness. According to the investigation mode, Titanius should be almost down to half its HP. Damn bulletsponge bosses and their HPs.

Her eye caught glimpse of a man, jumping and dashing his way like a parkour master through the acid pool just to get across and attack the eye. What the hell is he thinking? He would leave himself open that way. And so, being a doodly idiot she is, Corvella proceeded to follow suit by parkouring across the acid pool AGAIN, melting her greaves in the process. Feeling burn in her feet, she took those greaves off and threw them at Titanius' Gaze. Great, now she's barefooted, but at least she made it across.

Now, where is that man with a bird mask? There he is. She approached
@Rook the Quick, jumped above him and did several backflips before ceremoniously landed in front of him, complete with superhero pose landing and shield guard.

    There was…chanting.

He could faintly make out the voices and when he strained his ears, they became a little clearer. The words were a mumbled mess, like listening to someone speak who just finished reconstructive jaw surgery. Slow, sticky, and annoying. The harder Emil listened, the most he wanted to haul off and punch someone or something. But, he resisted.

Instead, he turned his attention to the new spot where the massive eyeball rested. Closer to him, which was good, but he didn’t want to be in direct line of sight of the damned thing. He didn’t know much about world bosses or big scary bad guys, but he was pretty sure that his flimsy robe would do less than nothing at keeping him safe. He wasn’t quick on his feet either so dodging out of the way was also impossible.

So, he exhaled, listened to the bird chirping on his shoulder, and released two flame bolts directly into the behemoths single eye.

The battle had been raging for quite a while, and Ceres was pretty sure that it wasn't going to end anytime soon. It was going to take something truly gargantuan to slay Titanius, unless some sort of miracle happened. Even then, she idly wondered what their escape plan would be. Hopefully Titanius would remain standing upright and securely in place while they all got teleported out or something, that would certainly be the dream. Second to getting out alive of course, she was starting to get worried about some of the more grotesque injuries she had spotted amongst most of the adventurers. She wasn't sure what any of her magic could do about that, especially since they appeared to be magical in nature, and her skill with engineering wasn't quite at a level where she was prepared to use it on people outside a potion or two.

People weren't getting hurt any less though, and she would support the fighters as best as she could. She spotted a heavily armored woman soar through the air across the acid to protect a masked man. Impressed but concerned about their state, she took advantage of the lull in the fight to quickly dash over and pass them a few bandages, potions and the like before before making her way to the thick of the fighting. It would only be a brief respite and supplies were dwindling, but it would have to do as her lack of experience betrayed her. Though the burden was light for now, she could definitely feel the battle starting to weigh on her shoulders.

After the last spell hit its mark Alric wasted no time forming another lance and sending it toward the large eye. Was this working? He wasn't sure and couldn't have been bothered to waste energy in investigation mode to find out either. He'd just have to keep attacking and hope the boss eventually fell.

But in the midst of all the chaos his mind wandered to those who had volunteered to go to the core. Was their fight going as well as their own? He wanted to know what was going on, but would just have to get the details from someone later.

    Down and back. Down and-
Haru's cylical musings were cut off by a bright, fiery star. A sudden smell assaulted his nose- he had no words to describe it, but if he opened his mouth to do so could probably voice his feelings on it with his vomit. It only lasted for a scant few seconds before a comparative bliss reached his nose in the smell of smoke. Like a great wash of rain, like the time before yet far stronger, a blessing reached into his mind and brought him sanity. The first thing he heard as he awoke to his newfound clarity was the sound of a concerned woman.

    Are you all right?

It was safe to say that a lot of abnormal things were happening, and Haru was all but shocked back into reality. "Ack..! Yeah, I'm fine, thanks to you ma'am! Remind me sometime later properly repay you!" First off, it would be uncool to leave a lady waiting for an answer, so he naturally took the time to call back to @Vina Skysong . And what should he do second..? Ah, the eyeball came closer while he wasn't looking.

Haru leaps back into action. Whistling to Headwind he runs forward towards the vulnerable eye, the deer galloping far ahead of him before stopping with its head lowered. It takes a three second sprint to reach his companion and he doesn't stop there. His steps grew longer and more deliberate, ending in a leap straight over the deer's body and onto it's horns. he calls to Headwind, "Go!" as his companion was already obliging. He soars into the air, propelled by the full force of his deer's throw. This was what he wanted. In the sky of this room he was free of Titanius' grasp- not a single part of him touched the monster. Haru closes his eyes and looks inwards to himself, taking a hold of his soul. He pulls it out of his body, molding it into a beautiful silver spear, and-

-Grabs ahold of it. Haru wasn't the same person that he was at the end of the Bandit King's life. He had grown far enough already to hold his own. He hurls the spear from above, the bolt flashing like the rage of Zeus himself as it struck into the back of the eye.

Alkaid couldn't agree more with Celestine on the fun of "doing a zaps." Manipulation of lightning had a certain spark to it, no pun intended. The erratic curvature in the air, the imminent crack of a successful strike, each spell met a satisfying end.

The woman would then be forgotten, however, between a nearby explosion caused by another player, the cultists' arrival, and the movement of the eye. The Dissonance, ignored for so long, had finally set in, casually mixing with the Astral Mage's premonitions to provide visions of nothing but death and disaster for those around her.

She saw tentacles erupt from the ground beneath her, wrapping firmly around each of her limbs before violently ripping them off one by one, like picking bone off a chicken wing. Being dropped down to the floor only for a few, tiny creatures reminiscent of seals crawling up to her, and...

And then a few seconds later she was on the floor, gasping for breathno worse for the wear beyond somehow being drenched in blood (oh right, the explosion)aside from some weird, painful boils now covering her skin.

It was only then, much too late, to realize that the Felis was long gone. Her magic warned that the girl was drawing close to something worse, although it was hard to tell what was actually magic and her mind simply playing tricks on her. Still, she couldn't help but feel its pull bring her elsewhere. They needed to make every hit count, and if she could be more useful somewhere else, that's where she needed to be.

Once more Alkaid found herself giving someone else a little bit of a boost to someone else's blows, this time with Aeromancy itself, and thanks to Astral's warning, she knew right where to fan the flames.

Usagi’s eyes widened when a fellow adventurer approached and started talking some nonsense that probably meant her calculations were wrong. The worst of it all, however, was that she wanted ear rubs as apology! Her bolts! Her carefully crafted bolts enhanced by the magnificent power of SCIENCE and MAGIC were underestimated to the likes of mere ear rubs! This was it, the tinkerer would not let that blow to her pride go unanswered!

“NANIO?!? Listen here Sparkat ‘n Boots, you think I can’t watch where I shoot? I watch can where I shoot, I CAN SHOOT WATCH I WHERE!”

However, she was too late to answer as @Celestine was well on her way already. “Geh, fine! GAME’S ON! I’ll show ya how good I can watch where I shoot!” Usagi opened her hand and a magitech part popped up thanks to her Imagined marksmanship. She installed it on her weapon in one swift movement before firing a barrage of magic projectiles at Titanius’ Gaze. Lowering her weapon, Usagi clicked her tongue in annoyance. That was not even close to all the destructive glory she was capable of... Maybe the environment had something to do with it. She’d need to recalibrate the tinker addons on her weapon.

Only after all that did she notice @Quinn and his antics. She addressed him while messing and tweaking around her weapon, “...Oi, carrotman. I’m sure I kicked ya in the face, not your butt.” She eyed the awkward bulge on his behind. “You okay there? M-masaka, are you stuck with a tentacle!?” Her face contorted in disgust while she discreetly took two steps away. “Fear not, my ninja ally!” She pointed her weapon at him and finished calibrating the magitech stock. It had a nice ‘ka-chak’ sound. “Don’t move, I’ll obliterate it in one shot!"

A magic bolt materialized and charged on her weapon before she pulled the trigger shooting at the awful bulge on his butt. She would definitely hit bulllseye anyways, if her two previous rolls were anything to go by!

As Sean finished slicing the cultists into pieces, he turned around to see the giant eye float above the acid. More prey, he instantly thought. It's just more prey for me to strike down. He walked forward a few steps and cleared his throat.

I am the blade of flame... I am the ember that will blaze the path to victory. Heed my call, and let's carve our way into the future!

Despite the fact the battle raged on and required his attention, Yukisa eventually broke and turned towards @Portia Ahrens . Time froze as he looked at her, his head swirling with words he wanted to say… or was it something else that made him this dizzy? Either way, he desperately wanted to get matters off of his chest before time continued to flow.

Through his blurry vision, that could have been caused by anything from tears to effort, he looked at her with a gaze that reflected a pain both physical and mental.

“Rushi, I-” he began saying, but before the most important word could leave his mouth, the ground began shaking beneath him, and his already tired legs could just barely maintain his balance. Strange cultists appeared out of seemingly nowhere, appearing to be nothing but hollow shells.

Unlike Portia, who of course immediately rushed to fight the new threat (likely having missed his short words), Yukisa was frozen in place, paralyzed by both frustration and a strange weakness stirring within him. He felt like his body was becoming jelly, melting into the squishy ground beneath him, and the crushing feeling of misery didn’t help with that.

In what felt like a flash to Yuki were the cultists defeated, and only then did he regain the strength to move again. And just as he did so, he noticed that small tentacles had burst from his old friend’s skin, likely causing her quite a bit of pain.

Eyes wide with horror and concern, he mustered what little determination he had left and quickly followed Portia, as well as the eye, into the pool of acid, biting his lip from the combined pain of scorching and the pus boils that began festering on his skin.

    Big mistake.

Just as he entered within earshot, the boils he collected burst, causing him to wail in pain and fall to his knees. Tentacles emerged from them, coiling around each of his limbs as well as his neck, almost suffocating him.

Yet regardless of the pain, he still lifted his gaze to the white-haired female before wobbly rising to his feet.

“I’m sorry… for everything,” he told her in a small voice and hoped she could hear. Then, before she could reply, he weakly lifted his spear, rushing at the eye one more time. The attack had no force behind it… but at least it had heart.
