Black Magic

Happily Never After

(Black Magic, Ritual, Passive) NPCs that would be killed by Majolica’s magic are instead turned into Witch Frogs. Majolica intuitively knows the location of each of her frogs and can release bewitched NPCs at her discretion. Releasing a bewitched NPC leaves them in a weakened, yet non-life-threatening state. Witch Frogs can be revived an unlimited number of times by Majolica.The skill does not work on player characters.

Witch Frogs

(Necromancy) Because of her passive ability, "Happily Never After" Majolica cannot kill NPCs making the raising of zombies impossible. Instead, NPCs that would be killed are bewitched into Witch Frog's. Witch Frogs function in the same manner as zombies, though they retain personalities, memories, and all other mental faculties.

Witch Frogs serve Majolica unconditionally and retain weakened versions of any combat abilities they wielded prior to their bewitching. With higher mastery levels, the abilities wielded by Witch Frogs become stronger.

Not all Witch Frogs are combat types. Some simply clean, cook, or do other menial tasks.

She Who Must Not Be Named

(Black Magic, Curse, Passive) A powerful curse placed on the name "Majolica". If at least four letters of her name are uttered, Grand Witch Majolica intuitively knows she is being spoken about and can choose to appear in the area around the person that uttered her name.

Grand Witch's Command

(Black Magic, Curse) The Grand Witch's decree is law. After being cast, this curse causes a purple crown mark to appear on the target. Whenever a mark-bearer disobeys a direct command by the caster, they experience excruciating pain radiating from every fiber of their being. The language of the command is exact, therefore if the command is "stand still" the target may take any action while standing still and receive no damage. This curse is not mind-controlling in any way and can always be ignored, though the cost of disobedience is great. The curse remains on the target until removed by caster or cleansed by support magic equal to the caster's level.

Sweep Sweep Ritual

(Black Magic, Ritual, Passive) This ritual transforms a staff belonging to a black magic user into a witch’s broomstick, bristles and all. A Witch’s broomstick is sturdier than a typical staff, allowing for blocking or striking. Like a normal staff, a witch’s broomstick can focus magic but additionally, it can allow magic to permeate the entirety of the staff, or focus magical energy into the broomstick’s bristles.

The ritual must begin at the stroke of midnight and requires a staff belonging to the caster, three cleaned bones of a predatory animal, five gallons of scum-filled pond water, three drops of humanoid blood, five spiders, and a lock of witch’s hair. The ingredients must be placed in a black cauldron. At 1:11 the witch must write out the spell’s incantation in the air using her butt. It is for this reason performing the ritual alone is advised. If the ritual is performed correctly, the staff will transform into a witch’s broomstick at daybreak’s first light

Note on Witch’s Hair: Witch hair must be retrieved from either an NPC identified as a “witch” or a player character with the word “witch” in their name.

Avada Cadabra

(Black Magic, Channeled, Anti-Army) A large beam of shadowy black magic. Abra Cadabra has a massive energy cost and must constantly be channeled. The spell is designed to wither away anything hit to nothing. As such, targets directly hit with the beam appear to simply vanish. Targets that are not instantly destroyed by this spell constantly take massive damage as long as the spell touches them. The spell works best on organic material.

Incantation: ”Error Silly equals Error zero Error Xtreme Plumpy minus two Radical over Witchy Optometrist squared! Abra Cadabra!”

Eye of Eclipsa

(Black Magic, Ritual, Utility) Allows the caster to spy on a target anywhere in Terrasphere. The ritual allows the caster to see and hear everything around the target as per a “fly on the wall”. The caster cannot interact with the target or area in any way while observing. Without magical detection, the target cannot detect the spell, though individuals with a talent for perception may feel as though being watched.

The ritual requires a personal belonging of the target to be in contact with the caster for the length of the spell. The spell’s length is dependent on the mastery of the caster.

Incantation: "Mage equals Halloween Invocate over Halloween Optometrist equals negative Donut Invocate over Donut Optometrist!"

Talky Talky Curse

(Black Magic, Curse, Utility) Curses the target to continue to babble on and on about any and all topics. The curse interrupts and disrupts incantations, while also being disorienting as the target cannot stop himself speaking and may need to muffle himself. The curse has the added benefit of potentially having the target spill useful or valuable information.

Illusion Magic

Spell Disguise

(Illusion Magic, Utility) Casts an illusion to make a spell look like a different spell. Examples include an icicle spell looking like a fireball, etc. An extra line is added to original's spells incantation to use Spell Disguise

Mirage Appearance

(Illusion Magic, Utility) Allows the caster to change the attribute's about themselves such as age, height, and appearance. This spell cannot be used to copy the appearance of players or NPCs.

Grand Witch Magics

Witch Gloom

(Black Magic, Aeromancy) A merger of black magic and Aeromancy that creates corrupted high density clouds of plasma. Due to the integration of Black Magic, the magic takes on the appearance of thick black cumulous clouds charged with dark and electrical energy.

Incantation:"Tanuki minus Vanilla plus Vanilla plus Tanuki times Vanilla!"

Majolica Clone

(Black Magic, Illusion Magic, Utility, Offensive) Creates an unstable clone replica of Majolica. The clone looks indistinguishable from Majolica, though has no offensive or defensive abilities. Due to the clone being created with Black Magic, any solid hit on the clone causes it to explode into Witch Gloom.

World of Majolica

(Black Magic, Illusion Magic, Curse) Curses the target to see Majolica's snide giggling little face everywhere. At first, you might do a double take thinking you see her only find it was someone else. As days pass, miss-sightings increase, non-humanoid animals also begin to resemble Majolica. After a week every living thing the target sees looks like Majolica. From muscular men that look like muscular Majolicas, curvaceous women that look like curvaceous Majolicas, trees with bark that resemble Majolica's face, and animals that look like Majolicas on leashes. Though the curse does not cause any actual damage, it would take a strong mind to deal with such a curse, unless you just really love Majolica... hehehe...

Incantation:"Pineapple equals one minus one plus Never Tanuki over one hundred Radical times Error minus Never Tanuki over one hundred Radical!"

Battlefield Majolica

(Black Magic, Illusion Magic, Curse) Curses the target to see Majolica's snide giggling little face everywhere. This is a short duration version of World of Majolica. Lasting one minute, the spell's shorter duration and incantation are better suited to the battlefield.

Summoning Magic

Broom Control

(Black Magic, Summon) By pouring magical energy into a witch’s broomstick the broomstick’s bristles can be made to grow into tendrils. The bristle-tendrils can be used to grasp, block, sweep, or as a piercing weapon.

If more power is funneled into the broom, the broom can come to life acting as a summoned creature.

Incantation: "Broomstick Doomstick!”

The Cawing Owl of Brisshal

(Summon) A mythical creature that has agreed to form a contract with Grand Witch Majolica. The Cawing Owl of Brisshal speaks in Caws, but for some reason its speech can be understood normally. Though ordinary looking, the owl also exhibits a strange form of naturmancy allowing it to control plants and set up magical barriers.

The owl is very pompous and can be a handful.

Witch Ops Battalion

Created by, hehehe, Commander Grand Witch Majolica, the Witch Ops Battalion is a player formed group with the goal of protecting the world! As the group is made up of dark and complex heroes, the Witch Ops isn't above using sabotage and cheating, hehe, if it means defending the world! Hehe, as long as no innocents get hurt though. Hehehe.

Each Witch Ops member's ultimate goal is to become a complete and total master of their powers! Hehehe, with mastery and strength comes the ability to better defend the realm! Hehe, which is why The Witch Ops places great value in training, gathering power, and personal betterment! Hehe, the philosophy behind this quest for power is simple: If each member of the battalion is a one man army, then the combined might of the battalion will be invincible! Hehehe, which means everyone can live and peace and be happy since any and all threats will be quickly eradicated! Hehehe!

Though the mastery levels of each member differ wildly, hehe, they are all considered equals and everyone is the best of friends, hehe. Witch Ops members spend much time together training, playing, going on trips, and having fun as they protect the world! Hehehe!

History

The Witch Ops was formed by current Commander and all powerful magic user, Grand Witch Majolica! Hehehe, Originally the beautiful and super powerful Majolica had thought to shape herself into a great villain that would conquer and rule over the world! Hehe, to complete her dark objective, Majolica knew she would need allies that would follow her command, hehe, and assist her goal of conquering the world! As time passed, hehe, and Majolica met NPCs and saw the difficulties they faced in everyday life. That's when the greatest most powerful witch ever Majolica's outlook changed. Eventually, hehe, Majolica discarded her plans of becoming a great villain, hehehe, and chose instead to take the mantle of "dark hero"! Instead of subjugating the world, hehe, she would defend it. Once she had gained the support of the common folk, hehehe, they would eventually vote her in as their monarch! After voted in, Majolica would work tirelessly to defend her people, hehehe, as well as use her magic to help them to flourish!

As the best witch ever's plans changed, hehehe, so did the vision of who her followers would be. She would no longer lead an army of villains, hehe, but of "dark heroes" like herself! So, all-powerful Grand Witch Majolica conceived of the group as splinter group of the Lion's Pride. Hehehe, The guild of heroes would no doubt attract some more "shadowy" members that she could then form into a sub-group! Hehe, Though the Witch Ops started from nothing, it quickly began to flourish! Hehe, it was then that the GRAND witch decided to make the unit separate from all other entities, hehehe, as well as open recruitment to anyone with the desire and fortitude to join!

So, hehe, The Witch Ops Battalion became a free-standing group that would accept anyone with the desire to grow in strength, form bonds with like-minded allies, hehe, and defend the world that they all have become so fond of! Hehehe!

Rankings

There are three ranks in The Witch Ops Battalion:

The highest rank is "Commander", hehehe, which belongs solely to the Grand Witch! As the creator and commander of the Witch Ops, hehehe, Grand Witch Majolica is the De Facto leader! Even so, she is very nice and cunning, and will often take suggestions, thoughts, and advice from other members. Hehehe.

Hehehe, the second rank is "member" which belongs to everyone that has passed the Witch Ops Initiation Trial! Members are awarded a "Witch Ops Sticky Sticker". Hehe, The sticker allows members to contact each other mentally! The stickers also allow users to know when a member is in trouble, hehehe, allowing for aid to be sent. The sticker also allows Majolica to know the location of each Witch Ops members, hehe, making betrayal nearly impossible! (Hehehe, don't even try it dummies. I'll know and then you'll be in big trouble, hehehe). The sticker is magically sticky, hehe, and will eternally stick to flesh, armor, or clothing permanently! The sticker can be removed by the bearer if they intentionally focus their energy into the sticker. Upon destruction, the sticker vanishes with a poof. And also, the sticker is scratch and sniff and smells of bananas! Hehehe!

The last rank is "Associate" which belongs to people associated with the Witch Ops but have not yet taken or passed the initiation trial. Hehe.

By decree of the Glamorous and amazing Grand Witch, hehehe, all members are to be treated equally regardless of seniority or mastery levels! Though associates may not have all of the benefits and information available to full members, they are to be treated with kindness and respect! Hehehe!

Enemies

Hehehe, anyone that harms or seeks to harm the residents of Terrasphere are considered an immediate enemy of The Witch Ops! Hehehe, this goes for both NPC and players. Hehe.

Witch Ops Most Wanted:

People associated with "Vermillion" - Hehehe, these dummy bad guy goblins are almost as powerful as me, The Grand Witch, hehehe, and they wear dumb roses, hehe, not like my cool and exciting stickers. Hehehe, they have something to do with the dissonance shadow smoke stuff. Dissonance is bad for everyone, hehehe, which means that eventually this "Vermillion" person and all of her lackeys must be brought to justice! Hehehe, or turned to our allies, hehe. Or eliminated... hehehe.

Adversaries:

Ynglar Brotherhood- Though not full on, "enemies", hehehe this group likes to think of themselves as magic police! Hehehe, no one can police the Witch Ops! We're dark heroes! Hehehe, and I love using dangerous and powerful magics! Hehehe, you'll never stop me you dummy goblin dorks! Hehehe, the Grand Witch will use whatever means necessary to protect the world! Hehehe!

Dumb stupid goblin people that should bow down to me, hehe, or just go away.
