Personality
Both Jody and Jed are similar yet different, in the real world Jed is a quiet person who just tries to live his life. He has his ups and downs usually escaping to Terrasphere as an outlet, for the meh-ness of his real world life. But as Jody, he's a confident, cunning and someone not to be crossed.
As Jody he fears little and enjoys the chance to be a person less worried, about what others think of him and how they treat him as he's just another person who looks normal. Jody is a kind person who does what he can to help but this can be dependent on people and the way they act towards him and others, he has a special likeness for animals because of their inherent honesty.

Biography
Jed grew up in a fairly low to middle class family, his mother was a beautiful women that worked constantly to look after her family. After an injury at work made it so that his father was stuck at home, however the problem was he wouldn't do any work and Jed was stuck doing chores. His younger years were okay when things were doing well, he could swim before he could walk and read before going to any kind of school even speaking three complex languages fluently before reaching high school.
But when his father was put on disability, the man started drinking and reverting to a true arsehole and a sexist pig. And because his mother wasn't always around, Jed became the man's punching bag when he was frustrated. This went on for years and still does to this day, he had hoped when he reached his teenage years he'd be big enough to fight back. But fate was a cruel mistress and he was stuck in a child's body, making him even more of a target because this made him seem like a wuss to his father.
It wasn't something he could change and he saved his pocket money to deadlock his bedroom door, thankfully he had a toilet and other things in his room he'd brought in. So that when he got the VR system and the Terrasphere email, Jed jumped at the chance to to escape his horrible reality for a better one. Where he could be someone strong, that way he could at least feel better somewhere in his life.
