What do you want to do?

  1. A

  2. B

  3. C

  1. Best I could do with my shield is toss some ice to zone 1.

  2. Hydromancy is obviously our best option, but I'm not sure if we've got a hydromancer.

In terms of what I can do, I have Aeromancy, which means I could snuff out the flames by dulling out the oxygen in the air temporarily. Could also blow really hard to put them out.

Or in the worst case scenario, we can strip and pat the flames down with our garments. ;)

  3. Just quickly letting yall know that Luna is gonna be in Zone 4, though I'm not sure what help she could be. I have Arcanamancy, Acrobat, Beast Taming, Summoning, Cleave and Beast Kin, if that helps anybody think.

  4. Double-posting because I need to catch everyone's attention before I fall asleep Here's another alternative option: With Yule's Hydromancy, Alkaid's Aeromancy, and my Tinkering, it could be possible to make ourselves some sort of fire extinguisher to deal with the fires. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if that violates the rule of 5 people working together, so, yeah. I might be asleep while most of you are awake, so feel free to think stuff up. If the majority votes for it, I can adapt. Night all!

  5. Can we put it out with our tears?

Edit: Since it's a magical fire and I have Spellbane I don't know if that'll help at all.

  6. @Rivers Asteire I like the idea of a windbreak. I’m out of posts, but you’re welcome to say Janet helped.
@Corvella Maybe you could hold your shield over zone 2’s fire and superheat it to help shovel/melt? Watch your fingers D:

I think a snowball fight with zone 2 sounds fun and then we can hide behind our nice new ice wall haha but we gotta make a ton of snowballs!

  7. Zone 3 requesting aid from zone 2 D: someone push some fire our way so our players can have something to work with for melting this ice? We’re all melee. We’ll throw some snowballs at you in gratitude

  8. I'm down for most anything just remember that this is ADVANCED FIRE so anything 'mundaneish' probably won't work.

---From our mastery wiki on Eternal Fire

(Awakened) These spells use the eternal fire instead of the regular fire. The eternal fire is a much more powerful form of fire that can range from purple to black, its burning effect is more tenacious than regular fire.

Kinda reminds me of Fantasy Greek Fire

In attempting to reconstruct the Greek fire system, the concrete evidence, as it emerges from the contemporary literary references, provides the following characteristics:

    • It burned on water, and, according to some interpretations, was ignited by water. In addition, as numerous writers testify, it could be extinguished only by a few substances, such as sand (which deprived it of oxygen), strong vinegar, or old urine, presumably by some sort of chemical reaction.[39][40][41]
    • It was a liquid substance, and not some sort of projectile, as verified both by descriptions and the very name "liquid fire".[39][40]

    >>>Old Urine

And now you know why meme solutions are always the best solutions.

PS comboing with zone 3 sounds awesome!

  9. @Janet Reilly correction, Zone 1 is the one adjacent to Zone 3.

  10. If someone's popping an AoE heal this cycle, can I get in on that? I'm gonna be pretty low after posting.

  11. @Alric Stalwart I like that idea.

Also for the record, I'm going to list out a bunch of ideas here:
    • Create a massive storm to put out the flames (hydromancer + aeromancer)
    • Snuff the flames out using wind or by dulling out the oxygen (aeromancer)
    • Counter spell the magic fire (spellbane... r?)
    • PLANTS (nature magic)

  12. I'm working on a post to clear the flames in Zone 1 right now.

  13. Hey, you should all come to Zone 3, it's 3/5 cleared, it's only one move for you guys, and the ice-condition is a lot nicer than the fire-condition.

  14. Everyone seems to want to pile into Zone 3. Makes it easier for Astor and D'va to squash us all.

  15. I'm like 80% sure just letting the fire burn will turn out bad for us somehow and there's no guarantee that your attempt at stopping the ice is actually gonna work since it's based on the DM's judgement lol.
