Senses rushed back to Sean, though the feel of something burning at his flesh dominated everything. Opening his eyes, he realized he hadn't died, yet was now in a pool of acid. Great... Getting up, Sean quickly eyed the fastest way out of the acid. Over there. He ran as best he could to the exit to this burning nightmare.

Upon climbing out of the pool of acid, Sean stopped to examine his surroundings. Well, this is a huge nightmare. Shaking his head, he looked to those around him. Noting a relatively new adventurer, he called out.

Hey... How are you holding up... Sorry, I've had a rough day... I feel horrible right now.

He began to stretch, yawning audibly as he did so. I could go for a nap... But that's not what I should do right now. It's best if I just wait this out right now and get some energy back.

Haru had taken the time to get himself back together. He was pretty sure he was on the edge of something, and it didn't spell very well for what was going to happen to his own body. At this point it was all he could do to keep bringing back his own Energy within himself. He'd like to blame his inaction on the monster that was Titanius corrupting his person, but honestly he was just stunned into silence from D'vangeline's rage. And then again upon the sight of the two royals pushing Titanius away. It looked damn painful. And then again when he had started falling...

Suffice to say, Haru was not feeling very accomplished right now. Taking a look around him he whistles before his brain catches up to his tongue. "What fresh hell am I in now..?" If he were being honest, whatever this form is was actually less ugly than it used to be. Points for it, he guesses. His musings of the surroundings were broken by someone lying broken in the corner of this room that once had looked so proud. Haru didn't want to admit it, but he had already felt bad for whatever small taunts he had sent her way. He might as well give her a practical apology. The raid didn't need him anymore, anyway.

"We did it!" She said happily cheering a little bit on the spot watching as Astor and D'Vangellines HP dropped all the way down, she was really happy when they managed to finish with their opponents and right when she thought that everything was over...welcome to the vrmmorpg game Rias. Mister tentacle was back and he had another helper on his side now which was the unconscious D'Vangelline, more like a puppet if you pay closer attention.

Wanting to complain the ground bellow her vanished in seconds and she started falling while facing up the ceiling and automatically trying to grab on something, a scream was heared from the archer as she was being bragged closer inside the stomach of Titanius. Falling on the wet ground she looked around, immediately coming face to face with the big eye of the boss, it was the same one they had to fight previously but this time it was a little bit modified. It definitely looked too dangerous to approach but she at least had to move a little bit from her spot to have a better view in case she wanted to attack him the next round because this time her energy was too weak and she had to recover a little. Getting at a safe area making sure she would be out of his view, the girl pressed her back against the rock/slimy like material and closed her eyes to concentrate.

A sharp noise. Pain. Confusion. She had no idea what that unearthly screech was but she was sure it sounded like that grumpy old neighbor of hers that had a cane of metal and used it to bat away unsuspecting kids trespassing on his lawn. It definitely met all the requirements: deafening, hideous, and downright maddening to listen to. If she knew that it was Titanius, the eldritch abomination, emitting the noise, then Alpha would've been proud of her pun. As it was right now, however, she was slumped over in—thankfully—one of the zones that wasn't coated in acid. Thanks to Hector and Potato's timely intervention, they had grabbed her by the scruff of her shirt and dragged her through a floor of nausea-inducing bile to the comforts of safety after the end of the plummet...although the countless stains her outfit had incurred would give Alpha a very different impression.

Her fingers twitched but she couldn't seem to get herself awake. Titanius' body was soft and enveloped her like a nice hug and she found herself hugging back the gargantuan monster's body like a sloth to a tree. "Five more minutes, mom," she mumbled, getting a mouthful of whatever organ or body part was underneath her. There was a smile on her face. "Mmm, it's no...problem...the Great...Alphabet Chocolate...is here to help..."

Her eyebrows furrowed. "Fat...Oompas..." she was shaking now, her fingers slowly moving down to where her dagger laid. There were a few snores, a few distant rumbles. And then her eyes snapped open and she grabbed the blade. She jumped to her feet and, raising the dagger up high, brought it down to the lumpy eye next to her.

"You think you can sneak up on me?!" Alpha screamed, left eye twitching maniacally as her tone took an unhinged turn. "The Mighty Alphabet Chocolate will never fall to the likes of dropbears and jackalopes!" Alpha shouted, branding her weapon up as she wildly glanced between Potato and Hector, and led the charge. "Onwards, my faithful companions! Valhalla awaits us! Let us slay this army of heathens that awaits us!"

She stared at the eye as if there were thousands before her; all with different shapes than what reality beheld. Her eyes were blown. "Glory for the potatoland!"

Down into the belly of the beast, they all fell. Another victory, somewhat, was rewarded with another tragedy, only this time, it could be the last tragedy some of them would experience, and not in a good way. The queen went down, not 100% knocked out but close enough, to their combined might but everything still turned from worse to worst, as the adventures found themselves falling, falling, falling… Some of them fell to their doom, either consumed or body part-deep in stomach acid, while the inexplicably lucky, including Iván, found themselves on higher ground.

A thud, an ow, and a summoned magical familiar landing on his face later, the masked illusionist found himself someplace he did not really want to be. What was with him and falling down holes? He wondered if there was something else down here, too, an otherworldly being perhaps. No, it couldn’t be. His purple god wouldn’t share his power with others. His purple god would simply consume them. There would also be more smoke and giant, creepy monsters. That eye was pretty creepy but there were no giant monsters stomping on unlucky healers.

Speaking of that eye thing, it grabbed Iván’s attention right away. He thought that thing was already taken care of, but apparently, he was wrong. Most people would have been disgusted at the sight of that eye thing. But Iván? Iván has seen worse. As quickly as he could, he made his way closer to the thing. That was when he came across someone familiar.

@Rias?” Iván deadpanned, though deep inside he was happy to find a familiar face. “Are you okay?” Probably not. Not a single one of them could’ve been okay at this point. He took his time looking over the archer, making sure she was okay. “Stay there. Stay safe. We got this.” He turned to his familiar and simply nodded. It nodded back. They were going to duo this thing again, with Iván making sure they were hitting from a safe distance. Pew pew pew! Storm of quills, both real and imaginary. Take that, Mike Wazowski.

Haru treaded along the spoiled ground away from Titanius. Gazing over his shoulder he looks back at the eye that had not looked in his direction for the span of the entire fight proper. Didn't he make a promise with Vince to be as cool as he could..? Why was he walking away from that monster?

Haru looked back forward to his destination where D'vangeline Falder lie twisting in the ground in agony. The incomprehensible monster Titanius could go take a seat in an incomprehensible chair and wait its damn turn for him. Right now he would not ignore someone who looked that beat up while they still breathed life.

As he drew closer he could make out the shape of the others there. Astor was lying on his ass, a rather amusing sight to behold. Well, Haru would get to him after the more pressing issue. That is, if his abilities could even help. He had no fancy tricks left on him, and all he could do was to keep pumping his own life-force into the ofuda he carried on him to give to others. Already holding one in his hand, Haru had once again brought himself to the brink of unconsciousness to prepare this spell.

What was he thinking about..? Oh, the other person there. A caenis that he had seen throughout the raid yet never quite came to his attention enough for him to catch ear of a name. How awkward... introductions were probably in order. It seems this man had retrieved D'vangeline's belongings already. Haru kneels on the other side of her prone form, assisting. He was well aware that without the ability to dispel he probably wasn't doing all that much. Still, the dissonance struck at people's souls- the one thing that he could directly heal himself. Hopefully this would actually be helpful.

Haru briefly smiles to the man across him before looking back at the scene of battle at the eye. It seems that combat had already begun again. From up on the highest ground in the monster's 'stomach', he could see everything happening. "...What a view, isn't it?" He couldn't think of much to say to @Feryn Crozier in lieu of the scene that played out below him.
Not like it was important, anyway. He had to make sure this person below him didn't die.

Quinn felt as though he had been sidelined by Rudiford, considering that the moment he woke up, he found himself falling down some 30 or 40 feet into Titanius' pillowy stomach lining. He couldn't say it felt that pleasant, but it was far better than those who was unfortunate enough to end up falling into the pool of acid collected at the lower point in the area they fell to.

“Well then, this is becoming rather dangerous,” Quinn whistled as he turned over and noticed Astor and D'vangelline, who was writhing on the floor and screaming in pain.

“Is somebody going to call an exorcist on that chick?" he said.

After he assessed the battle for a bit, he realized that he should do his part and rewind a dead person since they need as many warm bodies as they can, for the final fight against the ancient horror or whatever. And so, he targeted a random falling corpse that happened to belong to a bald man.

A look of surprise crossed her feature when she noticed her HP started raising. She did not know who it was but she was most definitely grateful for that person's help. Just as the amethyst eyed female was about to sit down to take rest, her surroundings started to change yet again and she knew well that changing environment inside a monster's stomach was not a good sign.

She tried to maintain distance from the large cavity that was formed out of no where but was unsuccessful in her attempt. As she started to fall down, the female tried to make her way to the wall, only to stop when she noticed other players were getting eaten up. With no other option remaining, the girl braced herself for the impact she was to feel when she hit the ground

Luckily for her, the fall was cushioned by the monster's fleshy stomach. Unluckily for her, she had fallen into the acid. She hissed in pain and quickly got out of the puddle. Looking at her HP, she noticed it was almost the same from when she got healed.

She cringed her face at the sight of her arm which was no longer covered by her long sleeved shirt and instead covered in acid burns. 'it hurts. it hurts. it hurts' was the only thought that was running through her mind for a good few minutes. She took a deep breath, steeling her resolve to kick this monster's ass, and began walking to get out of the acid zone. When she found herself in what she would call "a much safer zone" she also noticed the monster's horrifying eye. "guess what time it is. Payback" She muttered as she charged to attack

_____One death denied after another, Nyx was starting to think she was helping the wrong side this fight as she clicked her tongue and adjusted to the sudden fall. Scythe moving to the ground first to slow her decent before her body spiraled down the shaft into the acid. Her lips moving as she growled loudly and got out of the acid to double check her weapon. The blade suffered a number, while it could still be used, Nyx had other weapons better suited for this fight.

_____Hands Moving to unequipped her scythe and with a flick of her wrist, countless small blades poked out of her sleeves. Her gaze locking onto the eye before she slowly began to spin on her heels. One knife flying from her waved arm as she finished the first spin, and slowly gaining speed and throwing more blades at her target. She was going to make that eye BLEED for partly destorying her favorite cutting tool. THEN she was going to make the monster BLEED and everyone else simply because she wanted it.

_____Knife after Knife, spin after spin, her accuracy growing as most would be losing it. Nyx, thrived on the bad like this monster. However, Nyx was one who kept all the darkness and threat trapped in the small stature. She was a monster, and this creature and those here would soon know... So close. Just a bit longer, and they might've had it. Return the Queen to their side. But for the time being, that was a task that could not be fulfilled. Not by her, anyway. The solid ground beneath her had given way, and she found herself falling far, far away from the royal pair.

Right down into the acid below.

Her entire body still being ready to go full blast with Astral Magic ended up working against her, her movements becoming either locked up or clumsy as she fell, all the while overloaded with visions of regarding the ensuing battle, her own landing into the sizzling, murky liquid. Just as quickly the woman came back up, lifting herself clear above the water with Aeromancy before she could meet the same gruesome fate of the unimportant, nameless adventurers, the acid still lingering on her skin adding yet another way she had been burned in Terrasphere within a single day. And then there were the considerable portions of her armor now burnt through...

A string of curses and a harsh growl marked the woman's path as she headed to safety, "I swear to God if I ever get my hands the devs for this fight..." just audible enough for @Portia Ahrens, the end cut off as Alkaid altered course upon noticing the falling woman—a timely gust of wind, perhaps combined with the woman's own acrobatic skill, allowing her safe passage to higher ground.

When she finally made it herself not long after, she could just barely resist the urge to kiss sweet, solid ground. She instead breathed heavily as adrenaline began to fade from essentially spamming spells to air jump to safety. All around were tentacles, familiar enough ground, by now. Certainly far more preferable to attack than another human.

Not that she intended to attack just yet (that was assuming she ever got another chance). Tipped off from an earlier premonition that some sneaky tentacles were aiming for @Raid , Alkaid set up an Illusion to mask his presence from them, leading them elsewhere so that the player much needed breathing room. If maybe he felt some aches and pains fade away for a bit too, well, that was also a nice side effect...

As the beast's stomach tilted upwards, Madison hung on for dear life. In an act of desperation, she commanded vines to grow from the the fleshy lining. The witch wrapped them around her hands and arms, preventing her from sliding into the gaping maw of Titanius--which also happened to be its eye or something? Eldritch beings; who can ever figure them out, right?

A loud noise above Madison startled her. She twisted around, pulling herself to her feet, trying to regain her balance now that Titanius seemed to have settled down. The plagueslinger looked up to find a towering black tentacle growing nearby. It twisted around in the air, ready to lash out at any of the intruders.

Wrapping her vines around her wrist to free her hands, Maddy sprung into action.

The tarot deck crackled with Zeus's lightning as she shuffled up, keeping an eye on the flailing tentacle the entire time. Ripping four cards off the top, she threw her spell up in the air. The cards arranged themselves in a cross and began pulsating with green energy.

Four thick lengths of vines riddled with thorns tore up through the mucous-covered surface near the tentacle, weaving and wrapping themselves up its base. With a mental command, the briars ripped and tore at the fleshy exterior of the appendage.

Seeing @Iván Carl through the crowd she smiled glad that he was alive, she noticed a few more players she was familiar with and sighed releaved...obviously many from the team died a terrible death and hopefully they never had the pain simulation on because that would be simply a horrifying experience. Arriving this far was a success already for the archer since she never did something like this in Terra so even if something happened and she would have ended up dying with one of those players, she would not complain!
"Yeah I'm fine...just weak on energy. I'll...stay here don't worry." She answered slowly seeing how sudden he was with his words, watching him cast his spell she had the time to regain her powers, in a way of him covering her meanwhile and then once she was done she slowly got up to stand beside his side preparing her bow and arrow.

    "Ivan...you got a plan?"
She asked looking at him for a second before turning her eyes back to the target. Riasalready had one already in her head...well to be honest her plan was basically aim the eye since it was his weak spot...and at the same time stay careful scanning her surrounding area in case Titanius decided to attack near her or her. Reaching out for another arrow her attention stayed on Ivan n case he would speak and as she did that, by accident the girl slipped on the wet floor and let her arrow. It obviously hit the eye but the damage was weak due to a weak stretch.

Everything happened in a blink of an eye. The adventurers defeated D'vangeline before she was even able to get close to her shield. While they were trying to bring her back by cleansing the dissonance, Titanius decided to step back into the fight and suddenly they are all in Titanius' stomach. Looks like this is the last thing it can throw to them, and they would be able to overcome the despair once and for all.

That's what she thought before Corvella was dropped into a pool of acid, again, barefooted. How many times are she going to step on sizzling acid from this abomination of a monster? The not-so-armored knight quickly looked to her left, spotting a safer and higher ground to jump to. Gathering berserk power on her legs, Corvella jumped a great height across the acid pool and landed on the high ground. It appears that Titanius' eye is also in the range of her attacks, what a great coincidence.

It's over, Titanius! I have the high ground!

With her new technique that's basically ripped off from Captain America, Corvella threw her shield in a manner that the wings on the edge should cut the Gargantuan Gaze. The bad part of it that the shield doesn't come back like in the movies because it obviously abides the law of physics. She would pick it up later, because right now she's in range to unleash her berserker punches to the eye.

The corrupted queen could stand no more, her proud form crumpling to the floor. Exasperation painted her facial features at the display of a melodramatic witch-esque character (@Grand Witch Majolica). Plainly written emotions soon displayed that of distraught as the magic user rained down extra damage on the convulsing queen.

In the back of her mind, Shangri La was aware that this was simply a game. Like herself people were playing roles, trying out different characters. Virtual reality always made things feel so real for the woman. At times she found it hard to come to terms that identities such as the queen were no more than mere non-playable characters; that they didn't exist outside the confines of the video game. To her, this was a reality in itself.

Shangri La attempted to move towards the withering form of the fallen queen but it was in that moment that all hell broke loose. A deafening, spine crawling noise caused her legs to tremble. It rang throughout her head and, without truly noticing brought her to her knees.

It turns out she hadn't been late for the main spectacle. No, it was only just beginning.

A hideous monster began to emerge from beneath the players. Shangri La scrambled to her feet as the horrifying metamorphosis began. With nimble feet, she did her best to dodge the spores and tentacles that sprouted around her. As her world began to alter, body sliding downwards towards an ominous pit, all she could think of was getting to higher ground.

Calling upon the winds, she created an updraft to carry her away from the acid pooling at the monsters base. There was no firm place to land other than near the mutated, hungry looking eye. As Shangri La struggled to keep her footing, she shot a quick stream of electricity at a black tentacle that was too close for her liking. Unfortunately, her focus was unsteady. She could only hope it was enough to help or keep the ominous tentacle away from her precarious perch.

Noticing a player near her was also (@Madison Freebird) attacking the tentacle in a most impressive fashion she nodded silently to herself. Okay, that was good. If the tentacle was distracted she could focus her energy on the creepy, man-eating eye.

No sooner had Lycia turned her twin’s attention to the massive behemoth in the room did she find herself freefalling through the air, her scream echoing through the chamber with the many others that fell alongside her. Landing in what seemed like water, she immediately came up for air and started screaming again.

It burned! Everything burned! It was in her eyes and in her hair and in her nose and everything felt like it was on fire! She panicked. She didn’t know how to swim! She never took those lessons and instead stayed on the sidelines, watching Amelia doggy paddle back and forth!

Frantically, she looked around, seeing dark shapes pulling themselves out of the water – no, acid – and onto dry land. Lycia didn’t fully understand what was going on, but her gut instinct told her to follow and—oh, right there! She barely caught a glimpse of Milah pulling herself out of the acid as well, her fur dripping with the stuff. In a fit of panic, Lycia swam over and yanked herself out alongside her sister.

Oh man oh man, she panted, wincing from the pain and…what was that? Her ears perked and she spun around, the hairs on the back of her neck standing on end. She could’ve sworn there was someone talking to her. The voice was low and deep, rumbling like thunder. She could almost feel the smile in the words. It reminded her of the Cheshire Cat. She didn’t really like Alice in Wonderland, but isn’t that where they were right now? Wonderland?

    Might as well be.

Are you okay? Lycia placed her hands on her sister’s shoulders, her gaze quick to inspect every inch of her sibling. She didn’t look too hurt. There was no blood, just dripping…acid. Her attention turned to the others of the massive party and she watched as people flung spells toward the tar-covered eye in the center of the room or the walls or the giant tentacle protruding out the wall.

Holy moly. I told you the teleport was a good idea. As quickly as it had come, the fear was gone. A smile stretched across her feline features, her tail twitching in excitement.

Hand still on Milah’s shoulder, she gave a small squeeze and grinned at her. Follow my lead. Hum! Dancing teal magic infused with music wrapped around the two as they hummed in tandem.
