Celes glared at the eye, underwhelmed by her lack of damage. Stupid thing just wouldn't die.

    @Yule

...but before she could unleash another attack, a large ball of ice caught her attention as it rolled by her. Cel expected to see many things down here that she really didn't wanna see, but giant balls of ice with people in them weren't on that list.

...in fact, they weren't really on the list of things to expect to see anywhere.

That being said, the giant ice ball did give her an idea. Running up to the frozen person, Celestine flashed the person inside a mischevious grin and began to push it, faster and faster towards the nasty eyeball. Once it was going faster than she could run, she gave the ball one, final blast of air, sending the 'projectile' crashing into the side of the eye.

Yule threw @Celestine the catbaby a thumbs up as the stranger gave her a stage-2 thrust like a NASA launch pad. Receiving the boost, Yule peeled out in her hamster Iceball!

    "Ramming Speed! Ho!"

Why hadn't she thought of this sooner? Yule wondered. Encased in her ice, nothing gross could touch her. It was clearly the perfect strategy. Now, if only she could see a little better...

Locking onto what she thought was probably the main target, Yule pushed her ice further and further until there was a substantial WHOMP as she collided and bowled into the massive tendril eye. Ramping up it and rebounding, Yule sailed thorough mid-air before landing close to back where she started. And since the battlefield was on a hill, Yule was poised to accelerate again downhill after another little rest to charge.

The impacts were so much less troubling now that Yule had decided to flood her ball with water and create a personal air-pocket inside it.

    Shock absorbers are good civilization.

    Yule thought.

"Hehehe, much better! This will be my new strategy! Hehehe, and by that, I mean it will be almost the same as my old one! Hehehe, I can use illusions, then drain myself for a net gain of five energy! Hehehehe! The super genius Grand Witch Majolica has figured out how to eternally sustain her energy! Heheheh! Now that that's settled, let's get to it! Hehehe!"

Calling on her illusion magic once again, Majolica brought several clones of herself into existence.

"Hehehe, you called us back again?"

"Hehe, that was quick? Did you figure something out Domina?"

"Hehehe, are we calling her Majolica Domina or Majolica Prime?"

    "Hehehe, I Domina sounds cooler."

"I think Prime sounds better, hehehe."

"We can go with either, hehe!"

"Okay, clones! Hehehe, I'll be relying on all of you for the rest of the fight probably!"

    "Hehe, you got it Domina!"

    "Count on us, Prime! Hehehe"

"Hehehe, our next target is that big stupid eyeball! Poke it's eye out! Hehehe, I want to take a nap."

    "I want a nap too."

    "We clones can't nap, dummy!"

    "Says who? Hehe."

"Hehe, anyway, let's get to it so we can go home. Hehehe, the eye is the target! Take it out, any means necessary!"

The Majolica clones looked at each other, nodded, and charged at the eye. As they went, one of the clones did I flying lunge into a positional roll. The next Clone slid around her and got into position behind her. The next did the same. The acrobatic display seemed to serve no purpose... until the all lined up.

As Majolica Prime watched, she cheered at her clones.

    "Hehehehe! Get that eye!"

The final clone began a dead spring towards the others. As she did, the other clones made steps with their hands. Reaching the other clones, the running clone used the hand steps to gain altitude, then leapt. The clone soared. As gravity began to pull her downwards, she flipped forward and held her heel out directly above the eyeball. Falling at increasing speed, she came down hard on the eyeball with the point of her heel. A direct hit.

Back flipping after landing the hit, the clone landed cleanly. Now the other Majolica's charged the eye swarming it like ants.

"Hehehehe! Give it everything you got! Hehehe!"

As she cheered, Majolica stuffed another handful of mushrooms into her mouth.

"Die Die Die Die Die Die!" Charlotte repeated over and over and over. With each word, swinging her gigantic Pink Lady again and again into the hardened black tar of the weapon. There was no form. No beauty. Just... carnage. She wanted this thing to drop dead so hard.

Under heavy breathing, the young woman incorporated some sort of creepy laugh not describable in mere words. "Once... hehe... I'm done with you... hehe... I'll find your children... hehe... and parents... hehe... and wife or husband... hehehehe.... and kill them all too. EVEN YOUR GOAT! Yes, the goat. YOU will be the one tasting TRUE FEAR.... he...he....hehehe...." The Dissonance was getting to her. But... as big as the thing was, clearly it had to reproduce somehow?

There was a quake in his head that started long before the tremors struck the battlefield and tore up sheets of glassy stone like breaking ice. It was a quake of sound-but-not-sound, a roaring din of static that made Rook’s eyes wide and Rook’s knees weaken. It was a quake that came from all around, from the walls and ceiling and the spaces in-between (and from inside, where squirming tendrils waggled in response like baby birds blind but for their mother’s song.)

Then came the shaking, and the sliding. Rook reacted and ran back up the slope, taptaptap, sandals slapping on the stone (then tongue, then flesh) like a small boy up a descending escalator, jumping lurching hopping dodging other people who fell plop! into the acid lake.

And when the dust (or stomach-juices, or tentacles) settled, Rook looked down and saw D’vangeline. He skipped back with a start as people ran to her, expelled from her the scourge (and the strangeness) until the hollow queen was as she’d been before. Rook stood, an awkward duck with both swords hanging limply in his hands, and watched, uncertain what to say. He cleared his throat three times and squatted down, and cleared his throat again. He peered into her face. He said,

“You... fight with... us?” @Raid Master

Rook's face was burning hot and pink as he rocked back and (all-in-a-hurry, all at once) jumped up again and ran off towards the eye. He felt... odd. He hoped the sad queen lived. He hoped the sad queen fought. To fight was to live, after all.

And the eye... The eye was back. Rook was glad to see it. It looked sticky and strange and sat upon a pedestal of braided flesh, as shocking as an open wound. It too had blades, now— its maw was lined with a sharp-toothed armory that now (for once) warned Rook be careful, Rook be quick— Rook jump over the...

He jumped over the (the...) and dragged the tip of his rapier across its upper lid, a tiny strike— a tiny scratch— but one to test the waters, one to blood his enemy and then return to strike and strike again. And again. For there was no quitting until his body or Titanius lay slain within the canyon and Rook had promised (promised, promised) he would bring a trophy home for Zeus.

Being in the belly of the beast was not much better than being above it, but what could you do. Aristides fell into the pit with surprisingly little pain. For once, everything being covered in soft, squishy flesh had its advantages. Not that those who landed in the acid could say the same...and seeing as he had just landed right in front of the humongous and angry eye of Titanius, he might need to reconsider what "advantages" he was really talking about. At least the drop and sight of the eyeball-mouth-monstrosity snapped him out of how much pain the boils and tentacles in his skin were causing. Nice.

Since it was all he felt he could do now, Aristides drew his clawed hands back and thrust them into the eye's tender flesh, soaking his hands in the disgusting tar-like liquid that fell from it in heavy drops, but he found purchase all the same. Now he just needed to take care as to not be eaten by the eyeball or dissolved in acid, and everything else would be fine.

What a strange sentence that was.

When the two monarchs had returned to normal, although injured, relief washed over Yukisa as he leaned against his spear to rest. Unfortunately, there was just barely enough time for him to recover before an ear splitting noise echoed throughout the chamber, followed by its walls morphing back to their previous fleshy state. As though being swallowed, the group began to descend into a chasm, partially filled with acidic-looking liquid.

For once, despite his terribly weakened state, Yuki was quick to react to the sudden fall. Though his reflexes weren’t enough to avoid falling into the pool of acid, he did manage to turn the fact he had gained so much momentum to his advantage.

After twirling his spear once or twice whilst plummeting, the silver-haired male aimed its crystal tip directly downwards, holding it firmly in both hands so as to ensure it wouldn’t bounce off of the floor that he hoped was made of flesh just as the walls were.

With the amount of force generated from the long fall, the spearhead penetrated Titanius’ flesh with a satisfying schlick, and a splash of acid rose around him… unfortunately not doing his skin much good.

“Ow, ow…” he mumbled, the burns and pores on his skin making for a painful combination.

Once he managed to pull his weapon that had gotten lodged fairly deeply into the floor, he glanced around to check if everyone else was ok. Just as he glanced to his left, a splash rose up, once again soaking him in acid as a fellow player found themselves landing within the acid pool.

No longer concerned about his own injuries, Yukisa rushed towards @Rudiford Gwyndel , and he would reach a hand out to help should his partner to the zone need assistance with getting back to his feet.

“Are you alright?” he asked the knight worriedly, looking him up and down for any injuries. Luckily, it didn’t seem Rudi was too bad off, however that just wouldn’t do it to ease Yukisa’s heart. “Ah, I wish I could heal you…” he mumbled, a sense of regret for not choosing a supportive mastery washing over him.

His eyes darted left and right, searching for someone who mayhaps could help out with that, however it appeared the two were alone in the zone (ha, rhymes). “Maybe if we go somewhere else, we can find a healer… I’ll escort you, even!”

Suddenly the Faerin dropped inside the battlefield, and hell you could call an acid pool as battlefield. He flinched instantly feeling the dangerous liquid burning and tingling his skin while trying to penetrate on his flesh.

"Aaarh?! What's this?!" Hanno fronwed looking at his legs... It was acid?! Then he raised his head, that place looked like some kind of stomach, which was extremely disgusting. But if that was an stomach, that meant he was being digested?! Noticing that he was in a such ironic situation, he couldn't help but let out a frustrated scream. "I KNOW I AM A GLUTTON, ALRIGHT?! BUT THIS IS TOO MUCH, KARMA!"

After the scream, he noticed there were many people in the area. Not many close to him though, except for two persons that were a few feet away from him. One of them seemed very injuried, though they looked more worried about the other person than about themselves. "I know I'm not one to talk this, but think about yourself too!" The Faerin stretched his hand toward @Yukisa.

    Assist Mode Activated.

    Healing.

A warm light flew from Hanno's hand toward his target's wounds, giving them a little more vitality to endure that situation. "Get out of this thing! Unless you want to become a breakfast!" He yelled before running as fast as he could to get out of the acid pool, but it wasn't fast enough to avoid the damage. Stepping out of the pool, he looked around, to think he would actually be straight teleported to a heated battlefield. 'Wait...' The Faerin blinked when spotting Aristides and Rivers, his friends were there too?

He turned his eyes to the monstruous creature, that was actually everywhere. That place didn't have a safe spot, seeing there was no way to defend himself... That meant there was only one thought process they could have at that moment: The best defense is a good offense.

The Faerin stared at the Gargantuan Gaze.

Lucia found herself being thrown into a pool of acid. She could feel Alice quivering from the discomfort, the girl had yet to perform any repairs on the armor, yet here it was being damaged more thoroughly. If it kept receiving damage, it would break through and start causing injury to her own body instead making her frown. For now she needed to escape a bit. Moving from her place in the Acid, she started to move, carefully navigating her way past obstacles. She could have gone further no doubt, but what she needed now was rest. Trying her best to sustain herself in a time of crisis, her passive simply consumed too much energy.

Gwyn pulled herself from the portal with a grimace and.... plummeted? The entire battlefield had changed for the third time. At least, the third time that she had seen. What in the world were these lot doing to the damn thing? It sure as hell had nothing to do with the fight back in the Core, as nothing truly phenomenal had happened beyond three people getting absolutely eviscerated with swords and shadow spikes. So what ruckus were they causing that the intestines of this beast had gone through such a wild ride in-

How long had they all been in there? Better yet, how long had she been in the soul path and the core of Titanius. It didn't move differently did it? What if they'd all aged an extra month and had no way of knowing. Would that be fucked up or what.

She shook aside the wandering train of thought as she pulled herself up from the meaty stomach of their enemy and moved across the field toward the eye. The ranger pulled her bow from her back and strung an arrow through, eyeing up the... well, eye. With a twist to her wrist, a peculiar angle to her hold on the bow, and the might of mental guidance, Gwyn let loose an arrow.

    skill
    Willful Shot

In her run, mid-stride and halfway into the zone close enough to actually hit the lone organ, the arrow fell short of her intended path. The arch of the arrow changed as it flew, curving unnaturally and defying the laws of pretty much everything. Unfortunately, it lost momentum too soon and only the ability to shift it along its path saved the strike. At the last moment, it flicked upwards and found purchase in the wet film over the Gaze.

"Huh, guess I should work on that some more. Never stop learning and all that."

Down, down they slid. Ash was reminded of the hallucination he’d had back at the beginning, the vision of falling, of sliding into the gullet of a hungry beast. Had it been an omen, or a threat? He didn’t know, but he clawed desperately at the walls, trying to find purchase, but he could find no purchase as he dropped into the belly of the beast with a soft thud. He lay there, stunned but okay. He was alive, for now. He had avoided the worst of it.

At least, that was what he thought, just before feline yowls filled the air. He had only a second to process what was happening before the cat grabbed him, and he bashed at it fruitlessly with the hilt of his sword until he was pulled into the acid. Simulated pain flared up, buzzing through him like his entire body had fallen asleep. One final bash loosened the tentacat’s grip, and he clambered out of the acid pool, panting heavily.

“C-cats. Why cats!?” What did this eldritch monstrosity have to do with cats!?

A plan? This late in the game? Iván turned to @Rias before looking around them. It looked like everyone's plan was to bombard Titanius with all that they had, save for the others who could either heal or dispel themselves and others, including the queen. He saw a nature mage or two take turns whacking the tentacle with their vines. Maybe he should've gotten Nature Magic himself? Maybe that would've also been useful for the Curry House. Maybe, maybe, maybe. There's always a time for maybes. "Well," Iván deadpanned, barely concealing the fatigue in his voice. "My plan was simply to hit hard as long as I can."

He grimaced as his spell winded down, his magical familiar, a smaller version of the Spire's Snow-Quilled Guardian, slowly stopping its attack to pace itself as well. Iván could now feel all the fatigue catch up to him, to them. He turned to his familiar who turned back to him. The illusionist grinned from behind his mask. He had concerns joining this fight, especially with his summoning magic, considering that a summoned magical familiar, a smaller version of the Ant Queen, bit off his arm during that crazy, weird dream thing that involved the one-eyed Ynglar Brother botching a transportation spell. Was it really a dream? How could he have dreamed of someone he had never met until after the dream? Was it a premature dissonance thing? So many questions, so little time.

"Whoa, careful!" Iván was quick to react when @Rias slipped on the wet floor, helping her stabilize her footing. There's been too many deaths already. An accidental one would be terrible. "You okay?" Before he could hear the archer's answer, chaos erupted down in the acid zone. Iván had a hard time finding out what it really was, but people started shouting, acid starting splashing, and soon enough, tentacles with cat faces rose from all that acid to drag people in. The illusionist immediately turned to Astor with a raised eyebrow. What is with that guy and cats?

And then that noise... One-eyed Ivan called out a warning before some sort of portal appeared in the ceiling. Is that Stokbon? It took only a few seconds for horror to fully engulf Iván's face. Oh, no! Not the Curry House! Anything but the Curry House!

Noticing that her ninja friend was a bit busy on his own since his writer was swamped with other responsibilities, Usagi’s blue-ish frame shot at high speeds once more, this time towards zone G. Energy crackled as she pointed towards the nightmarish eye on the center, the inner workings of her magitech addons enchanted her crossbow’s capabilities beyond any other. Instead of pulling the trigger, however, Usagi aimed it up and then proceeded to shoot — the magical bolt ascended like a star in the violet darkness and exploded as particles of azure light descended. Despite their delicate flight, each one of them would generate a small explosion when touching the large eye. Meanwhile, the charged up rabbit retreated towards zone H.

Eventually, her magitech cores gave in and the azure energy was gone, returning the brunette to her original pink color. “I think I might need to take a breather after all that sheetos, hehe…” She plopped down on the fleshy floor, gasping for air due to the strain of using so much of her energy at once.

With the time she managed to buy, Lucia took a breath, looking down at Alice working to repair her chitin armor. The crystalline portions slowly repairing itself, forming back up into a respectable suit. It's gouged or burned portions slowly filling in being replaced by surplus materials and compressed parts. There wasn't a lot of the crystalline solution to use to repair damaged parts, but luckily a lot of the damage she'd received came from acid and the blood pact, the materials were able to be salvaged and her there was no loss from the Pact triggering.

"This is becoming tasking, but I suppose I'm not the one that's the most worn out." She mused, with a hand on her temple, it seemed like there were others suffering more then her, no doubt because of the monster, but she knew that for her, a full volley of blows would chunk down her health rapidly if she triggered her passive again. With a grimace, she decided she would try to go all out once more if she could while everyone else was striking the creature, she tried to stockpile some reserves to burn away in a glorious offensive.
