Personality
"Hay~! Hay~! The prime-time eccentric genius is here! You need look no further! Welcome!"
A sharp mind expanding ever outward in 9 different directions, Kepler is an inquisitive, excitable, and bubbly sort of person who revels in all of life's interactions. Prone to floating off in the wind, she can often become lost in her own little world without warning. Because she tends to see the world through a unique lens, she’ll be left puzzled with any of reality’s incongruencies no matter how obvious.
Even so, Kepler is a remarkably even-minded individual, so she can work well with most anyone. She values logic just as much as a bleeding heart. In times of crisis she is an able counselor and an effective subleader but should otherwise never be left fully in charge as she lacks charisma and will unknowingly work others to the point of breaking.
Overall, as someone who carries the nickname of ‘Ditzy Genius' with a sense of pride, Kepler can give off a sense of needing to be looked after. And yet, her habitual displays of insight seem to imply that this demeanor could perhaps be something of a ruse. If so, she is certainly an annoying person. Though the end result is the same, feigned helplessness or no, Kepler deeply appreciates your patience as a true friend <3.

Biography
There is said to be a certain internet society of deep divers which some would even go so far as to call a cult. Madeline herself would likely volunteer the term "loose confederacy" as a correction, but even for her, it’s a tough thing to describe. Centered around a derelict-looking forum which has been derogatorily come to be called The Net Church, the members all follow their own separate interpretations of a philosophy based around the following three precepts:
The First, to achieve maximum independence from the material world.
The Second, to maximize the amount of time spent in a dive state.
The Third, to seek the 'center' of the internet.
To complicate matters, there is absolutely no agreement on the definition of the third principle, which has led to all of its members following wildly different paths.
For the otherwise unnamed Net Church, every member only needs to follow a single rule: when met with a dead end in your search, posts the details, if you find the center, reveal it after you've had your dibs. Everything else is your secret.
"Kepler's" method isn't a particularly unique one, she charts and explores various online worlds considering it to be the quickest path downward. In the real world, she's managed a comfortable living by maintaining a directory of those digital worlds, but she could probably afford to get out more. As a high school dropout, her life is otherwise unremarkable if not a little lonely.
While researching the phenomenon known as Terrasphere, the TV she had left on the news in the background suddenly played a rather mysterious commercial, and just like that, Madeline received an email for the game. Madeline had never believed in ghost stories before, but for a moment's consideration, she wondered if she might be in one...
Even so, she downloaded the game in a jiffy. A lead is a lead and without a doubt, Madeline's hobby is learning new things!
