The Undead burst from Lucia's side, charging forward, as if they'd practiced and coordinated the assault for centuries. Sylvanas, the elven knight swung first, advancing to the edge of the darkness before letting her spear whirl. "Seidou Goui. Through me, the shouts of the forsaken knights roar like Dragons." She spoke, with a sharp swing sending a frosty blue ethereal dragon forward from her spear to crash into the creature.

Behind was Lina, the curvaceous former cultist, the fire Lich. With a pale arm, she lifted her hand when Sylvanas rushed past. "Seidou Goui~ Through me, the Explosive sounds of magic make the winds shake with the intensity of a blazing summer sun." She spoke before snapping her fingers, the crisp sound created a bright red spark before light suddenly filled the stomach for a brief flash, slowly receding leaving behind cinders and ash.

Once the smoke cleared, from the fog, Mortimer appeared, the gentleman wraith spreading his arms loosing blades on the ends of chains, letting them cleave into the creature's fleshy eye before ripping what he could back out, the sheer number of chains and hooked blades was staggering. "Seidou Goui. Through me, the embers of our enemies are snuffed out in an unsettling silence." He offered before disappearing once more in a puff of smoke.

From Lucia's armor, the little girl who was Alice slid forward, with an arm swelling up with rippline muscle and bone blades bending forward from it's length. "Seidou Goui. Through me, the growth and evolution of our people will not stagnate. We will consume, we will adapt." She spoke, her voice bland as that large fist crashed forward trying to rake the eye with the bone blades before receding back into the little girl's body.

The arm pulling back made a nice bridge for Lucia's second wraith, the woman in tattered leather clothing appeared, her tattered trench coat flapping behind her as she palmed a series of blades. "HAHAHAHA Seidou Goui!-- Aw screw it, DIE DIE DIE!!!!" Morganna laughed with madness radiating out from her mask's eyes as black fog surrounded her and a hail of crossbow bolts, throwing knives and needles began raining from the smoky barrier.

Instead of the skeleton brothers participating though, one would be able to see them grabbing each other's arms. Slowly their frames began to blend, fuse, their orange and blue robes coming together as they exchanged bones, their skulls fused and their bodies became one. Inky corrupted mud began to cover their bones coating them black as a new skeleton seemed to be born from their fusion. With a cracked skull, his long black robe dripped with the inky mud that spread to the floor beneath him burning the creature's organs like acid as he left a trail of rot behind him as he advanced. With one hand folded behind his back, hunched forward, he began signing, as if he couldn't speak. "Seidou Goui. Through me, the goal of all things remains death." With that gesture, his hands signed faster until insideous black smog began to stain the large boss trying to burn away it's hide.

Then one after another she heard them drop like flies trying to be heros and it just made the girl laugh more. Either they followed like blind sheep, or truly thought they could end things. Looking over her weapon as it started to crumble apart Nyx could only grumble at the limits it had. Slowly spinning it to get ready before she attacked also.

_____Not because she was moved by the king to act, not because others gave their lives, and surely not because she gave a shit about if this monster lived or not. She just started laughing at everything, not twisted or insane but genuine laughter... Something the girl had never done or knew she could do. Moving her weapon Nyx rushed into the finally attacks.

It was a shame that her plan never saw success but she knew that with the panic and pressure it would be hard to cooperate with people you didn't really know, it looked like only two including her decided to come up with the idea of finding the eye however it never worked.
She watched players falling, soon they all started losing HP and as they reached the end of their bar their actions stopped. Why would something like this be so dramatic and touching for the archer, she barely knew most of them if not at all...despite that they still went through the event together and the experience stayed the same for everyone. Titanius was enraged even more than before and the deaths around her were the consequences of their actions.

'I don't regret what happened those days and past few hours. Even if this would be my end as well, whatever happened was unforgettable.' The horror and adrenaline in her system was something that nothing in real life could cause. 'What a unique game and technology...the story and emotions behind everything.' It was hard to think when the damage dealed to her body was weakening her, even if it didn't hurt it still blocked her thoughts from thinking clear, probably another mechanic of the game to simulate the real-life responses to the current situation.
"Let hope this won't be my last hit then..."

Death came again. As did a fresh life. @Ashiore Evretto was to thank for it. A stranger, who had chosen to suture her soul back within her body. There would be expressions of gratitude in order once the combat was over. But just as her tired form had been reunited with breathe, she was reminded that battle was still present.

She looked up above her, vision still focusing. So it had been summoned, above her stood a falling star. Majestic and philosophical, it made her forget the madness about her for a moment. Like a lullaby, it's form was soothing and complete... From around her, she pulled up strings of flame, swirling into her grasp. Reaching towards this great art, her energy extended into the air, soaring to meet with the creation. She looked briefly towards @Cain Darlite, smiling, as the gift of flame spun around his creation.

But these were not the only meteors that soared in the sky, as @Seigi sent anothers airborne as well. To each of these, Nalla reached her other hand, surrounding them with a shell of flame.

Like the sun, its impact would be magnificent, as it plummeted towards the foe, like doomsday upon the Earth. With both of their hands towards the falling death, certainly this should be the end of it.

Seeing Titanius only grow bigger and more monstrous Mizuki had the feeling that she should despair or feel afraid, but her rage had carried her too far and now she just grew even angrier that it refused to die even with everyone throwing everything they could. She continued swiping right up until she heard a familiar voice calling her, the wolfwoman retaining enough sense to jump back and look around to see Seigi calling for her. She knew what Seigi wanted, even if she wondered just why the heroine was so eager to throw. Well, this time around Mizuki wasn't going to complain. Far from it.

This wasn't about heroim, glory, fighting for one's country or people. This was just to make sure that this monstrosity would die and stay dead.

All right, I'll go first and break it open. You guys come after.

She barely winced as the lightning began to surge through her body, the Caenis ignoring the burning sensation even as she let herself be picked up and thrown. While in mid-air Mizuki focused on the frostfire inside her, the lightning coursing through her. Focus, focus, focus...

    "THIS IS GOING TO HURT!"

The lightning, the frostfire, it all gathered in her two fists, one glowing a blinding yellow and the other an electric blue, the energy surging and reaching out to form two jaws, a large ethereal wolf's head combining with Mizuki's howl.

    skill
    FANGS OF TWIN STORMS

Like the jaws of a wolf closing Mizuki slammed both her fists into the monstrosity's large body, releasing all the energy at once. Crackling, roaring and howling the lightning and frostfire exploded, ripping apart Titanius's outer layer as Mizuki kept pushing, trying to force everything she had and everything she had received into this attack until finally the forces being unleashed blew her away, at the same time tearing Titanius's last remnants open so a large chunk of its interiors were exposed for her allies to unleash their fury on.

The battle continued to rage on all around Roland. He heard desperate screams of those giving their lives for a final blow against the beast, and even more desperate cries to end the fight. Still, he stayed his sword and waited. He had been in fights with monsters this large before and had seen first hand. He knew that at the last second they liked to a move out of desperation that would put everyone in danger. So he waited, for that moment...and waited...and waited until he realized that it simply was not going to come.

He was willing just to walk away and let the rest deal with it, but if he had the strength, he might as well just use it. So he thrust his hand forward, quickly drawing an intricate pattern before him, before pressing down on it with his palm. From the pattern erupted a large bolt of electricity that ramed itself forward into the side of the monster's belly, with an ear-shattering crack, just as the others launched their last offensive.

Gwyn moved through the portal with the rest of her small, motley team from the burning Firelands back into the battlefield within Titanius. She once again found herself scowling at the fact that the battlefield had changed yet again. Ridiculous really. This thing was having a prolonged identity crisis.

She dusted off the ash and still glowing embers, the clouds of the fire elemental plane's proof on her swirling off into the unnatural darkness. The eye had grown to immense proportions and it was with a resigned certainty that she embraced her third death here. There was always a chance she would survive, sure. But it was easier to throw yourself into the gaping maw having readied for the worst. Clutching to her shoulder perched a new tame, their new bond still a fledgling thing. She felt no fear from it. Only anger. Irritance. Irreverence.

    Honk!

Irene didn't know she stood, a burning black swan, before a world-ending nightmare. The damn thing had a death wish and she wasn't the only one. All around her folks dropped like flies as they threw themselves against the last wrathful struggle before the dark claimed them. Gwyn lifted a hand to dig into the feathers at the bird's shoulders and tugged for it to take flight. There were cultures that believed birds could carry souls to the afterlife and seeing the black bird burning bright in the dark? Surrounded by death and untouched by it all? She could believe it too.

And then she was flying with it, caught up in the hands and tides of Seigi in all her burning, chaotic glory and the archer laughed, but tucked away her bow. She held on, helpless but to fall in line to such an impossibly foolish plan. "Fucking chaotic stupid deathwish this is," she muttered under her breath and didn't even bother to try restraining her laughter. The words well like a dirge, but then they were gone and Seigi had done some sort of convoluted mess that got them there and Gwyn drew back her fist with the others, knuckles meeting the slick wet of the eye in a disgusting squelch. And then the sound of dust crumbling away as the area from Celestine and Mizuki's magical strikes turned where they struck into charred cinders. Her fist came away where she had gripped with her fingers and clenched, caked with a handful half of meat and half of ash.

Kessler saw other people roaring and going for big flashy final attacks. He couldn't help feeling a twitch at the corner of his mouth, it was unreal, crazy magical attacks flying from all over and there he was a guy with a shield and spear. Even if he had some technological skills from tinkering, this was just bonkers. Glancing towards @Rudiford Gwyndel the only one in the event who was a character suffering from the same problems as he was, he couldn't help trying to put on his most optimistic expression. "Well, I guess we've gotta take our turn some time. If we're gonna get blown up, I'll see you on the other side." He spoke, lifting his lance hand to try and bump fists with the only friend he might have made in the event. If other people wanted to join in for this last moment of melee characters flailing with simple weapons against a gigantic boss monster, well, Kessler wouldn't refuse them. There was something heroic about charging a giant beast with a sword and shield.

"Let's go!" He tried to give a firm nod before leading the charge. Acid and other strikes from the darkness lashing at him, trying to ward what he could away from anyone who was following him, his loud flailing yell could be heard over some of the chaos as he lifted his lance forward. "HAAAAAAAAAA-- YOU BASTARD!" He spoke trying to thrust his spear into the creature after putting as much strength as he could muster into his foot. Bringing his other hand to his spear, letting his shield hang from his arm, he thrust forward with all of his strength-- Still yelling as he tried to spear the boss.

Clenching his grip on the spear with his hands, tightening his grip fiercely, he clenched his teeth clinging to his weapon as if he were doing chin ups. "Not enough-- Not nearly enough." He grunted, twisting his grip to trigger the spear's mechanism once more. The grinding sound of the lance twisting and drilling into the creature's body resounded, blood splattered his armor as sparks flashed from his weapon as he revved it up intending to let it roar until it died. "GO! My daughters are out here somewhere-- Like hell I'm gonna let them suffer because of you!" He shouted using his legs to steady himself as he tried to force the spear in deeper to mix up the creature's innards... if it even had innards to mince. "Hit me with everything! I'll take it, just bring him down!" He shouted trying to encourage anyone to join him. He thought he was being heroic, trying to combine his efforts with literally anyone-- even if they were joining with other people, he tried to have a hand in it by clinging to the creature and ripping it apart more from the shock.

As the darkness fell upon the battlefield, Cherish realized that it was now or never. Either the raiding party killed the boss, or the boss kills them. Cherish laughs as she runs towards the circling threat within the darkness. Running past other warriors and various magic users, cherish reaches the dark depths, where she can still only see a silhouette of titanius

Cherish launches herself into a flurry of attacks, not caring for even her own safety as she relentlessly and recklessly struck the monster's eyes, over and over and over again. The axe lying within her hand chopped over and over, blood and gore splattering out of the horrible creature before her.

Astor watched as the entire raid group sprang into action and caught up to D’vangelline. It seemed his crude and unrefined speech was good enough to raise the players’ morale even if it was only out of desperation. He had grown rather tired at that point from blood loss that refused to cease. However, his eyes were still sharp enough to pick @Ilusa Nakhalee 's thin frame apart from the crowd. Astor walked toward the feline with slow and deliberate steps as reckless adventurers charged past him to meet their maker. Once he stood in full view of Ilusa, he extended his hand toward her and brushed a stand of hair away from her cheek. His hair was down, untypical of how it usually looks.

“So you came to pick me up after all, Ilusa, you goddamn reckless woman. Even when I am consumed by this personal hell,” his lips formed into a pained smile as he inspected her injuries.

“I don’t like it when you get hurt like this, but you know what has to be done, right? As long as the monster lives, we have to jump into death’s mouth for the sake of this second life we share.”

After listening to what she had to say, Astor turned around as he looked at the giant that stood in the way of his victory. There was only one thing left he had to do to redeem himself now and that is to bring out the beast that had tormented them this entire time, even if every fiber in his body burned up.

“Asym nahzigma ayk gord aun asym, your king commands you to surrender your power to him,” Astor roared a spell as his body was immediately consumed by fire. Glancing at Ilusa one last time, he thought about telling her to wait for him in a place where she was safe, but alas neither of them were characters in a fairy tale story, the time to fight had come and they needed every attack against the behemoth as they can muster. And so, Astor dashed forward, expecting his confidante to follow him in a combined attack against the dark horror.

When Astor was close(?) to what he assumed was Titanius, he began discharging a beam of fire, which was completely swallowed by the unshakable darkness. With Ilusa right behind him, Astor felt as though he could do anything and began turning up the heat, letting his mind meld with the elemental that was possessing him. A fire burned brightly in his eyes as he wrestled with the fire demon for control of his body. However, his concentration shattered the moment he noticed a long and sinewy tentacle zipping past him, aiming for Ilusa.

He jumped in the line of danger, blocking the fatal blow that would have connected with the feline. It went right through his stomach, eliciting a trail of blood that dripped from the corner of his lips. He winced as pain radiated from his core. Though, he was glad that he was able to shield her from a certain death. But, his expectation was betrayed when he looked down and witnessed the massive monster limb completely running through him and the girl. His eyes grew wet as he quickly looked up at Ilusa, whose face was lit by his fading fire, drifting upward in sparks.

Without being able to speak as blood had flooded his lungs, Astor raised his trembling hand up to Ilusa’s cheek and gently held onto her face. Using every ounce of strength, he had left, he leaned in and pressed his lips against her. The moment they parted, he formed words with his quivering lips.

    “I love you”

Astor smiled for the last time as he was ripped away into the darkness. His remaining arm extended toward Ilusa. The firm handhold was the last thing he remembered, till death do them part.

    kshhhhhh......

In the dark, a girl sat watching a glowing screen, but there was nothing on the monitor but dancing waves of grey. Eyes glazed over, the girl seemed cold as she watched the white noise. She was watching with a dull interest. She was totally alone. All of her worries were no more. And so Yule sat...

----Until a hand was placed upon her shoulder.

Slowly, Yule's head turned, the fringe of her bangs revealing one curious icy-blue eye. The stranger was saying something----

    "------Be Proud."

The voice said. And there was light. But still, she saw the magus standing in static. Confused, she pulled his hand, only for the man to fade as his soul enveloped her.

    -----The Ritual of Soul Exchange-----

Yule thought. The man had taken her place. She had not asked for such a burden, and yet, it was the duty of the living to fulfill the hopes of the dead...

    "The Contract is Sealed."

Yule sighed with a smile. Mourning the man would be an insult to his incredible courage, and yet, Yule could not help but feel guilty. Looking down, she addressed the man's companion:

"Surely you care for your master, yes? I know the sort, it is a variety of concern called tough love. Well then, upon our honor, let us not have your master show us up!"

The stag snorted. Upon his back Yule remembered an old story. Her temporary companion was not a reindeer, but by the tip of his nose, Yule swore that they would light the way.

Haru's spirit pushed her forward as Yule shouted a spur of the moment incantation----

    "ON DASHER!"

From the icey wind behind them a new stag of nice formed.

    "ON DANCER!"

    Another.

    "ON PRANCER! AND VIXEN!"

    Two more joined the fray.

"ON COMET, ON CUPID, ON DONNER AND BLITZEN!!!!"

A veritable stampede of Ice-Deer were now following Haru's companion as they surged forth in a stampede. As they each and every single one of them began to glow from Haru's blessing, Yule took a deep breath and gave one final shout:

    "ON! HEADWIND!"

What followed from Haru's push was a white blur as 9 stars illuminated the night sky and short forth through the monster like a new constellation. It was a sudden and new Christmas Miracle as it suddenly began to snow.

The force of the melee might unleashed on the Gaze was enough to send the archer flying back. She felt a wingtip brush by as she was bodily tossed backward, Irene skimming by either enjoying the sight or ensuring the thing that had managed to outclass her in the Fireplanes wasn't weak enough to be taken out in such a manner. The fire elemental swan could rest easy, as Gwyn landed hard on her shoulder with a snarl. Using the same martial arts skills she had used to aid in punching an oozing hole in the eye, she forced her roll tighter to keep the moment and move that much farther back.

She posted up into a kneel and caught herself, hissing as she quickly raised her hands to quell the magic still biting up her arms. Fire, electricity, ice, raw arcane energies. The myriad of attacks were spilling over and it wasn't just the leering eye and the starved body around them that threatened them.

Nevertheless, this needed to end. She would help push it along every extra inch it needed. She closed her eyes to the dark, embracing a more familiar one, as a song rose up over the fight. The lyrics weren't familiar, but the voice was. The press of magic in the air would normally raise her hackles, but this was a known signature. She didn't need spellbane to know that Cain had finally raised his voice and weapon and resolve. The huntress stood and continued her paces farther from the eye, stopping beneath a gleaming light forming and growing into something greater.

The bright blue meteor, a rose in arcane bloom, hung heavy over her like a guillotine. A meteor storm of fire swarmed in a wash of light. Fireflies or stars or angels, streaking deadly toward anything to sate the hunger that ruled pyromancy. Together, Gwyn demanded they come to her hand. Imagined Marksmanship teetered dangerously on the brink of magic, but Gwyn didn't worry about losing control. She'd spellbane herself to a mind down if ever it flared without her say. Here there could be no doubts or delays.

    skill
    Divine Mankind's Retribution

She gathered it all, crackling burning searing blinding maddening, in her hand and without a fight it wove itself together into a reality-sundering demand. They would take their vengeance in more than pounds of flesh. In more than punishment through suffering. They would unmake it. When she fired the bolt, for a moment the world went black. Spots danced in her eyes as the brilliant beam cascaded toward the eye.

It hit with cyan. It hit with pink. It hit with gold and white and a thousand beautiful, pastel colors that were undeserving of the beast to witness that shattered into nothing on impact. Not that it would see. Not that many could. It was blinding in its brilliance. Cain and Nalla had wrote the message. She was just the messenger.

She was prepared to call for everyone to go and rush the eye with her, but it seemed like @Seigi had out-shouted her, and rallied anyone who could punch to go towards her. Or, have her go towards them. Not that she had a problem with that really. It was still another way to get closer to Titanius without having to actually walk through the maze of grabby tentacles that way that darkness, and for that she couldn't complain a single bit. Hopping onto Seigi's hands, she squealed as she was launched, looking at the others and Titanius with a determined gaze.

Out of anyone there, she only knew @Ueno Mizuki , and she damn right showed how much she had improved since they last met at the wall. Blake's eyes widened at the light show of thundercracks and pure force that Mizuki's attack produced. And it made her look at herself. How much did she improve? Compared to her, barely nothing. And even though that left a huge dent in her pride, it was quickly burnt shut by the fire of her determination. She just needed to train more and harder, no rest!

Then came @Gwyn ap Herne to lay the stage for her, blasting through the remains of the eyes to reveal its insides. With a stage this perfect, her sole obligation was to put on a perfomance that would be remembered for ages. Landing right in front of the bursted eye, she threw a fierce punch, knocking the thing back a bit, before starting to unleash a massive flurry of attacks at an incredible speed, one punch landing after the other all over its insides, her arms barely being able to be seen throwing the punches due to speed, the holes made due to the impact of her fists on Titanius's flesh walls not even having time to disappear before at least 3 more were made. While she did that, she kept shouting with each punch, her voice reverbating through the place. She was really into this. "ATATATATATATATATATA!"

After what seemed to be over 50 punches on the flesh walls of Titanius, she stopped punching, quickly switching over to standing in one leg as she started to rapid kick with the other, the holes from the impact of her fists barely having time to vanish before the ones from her kicks took their place. After another flurry, she switched legs, softening the monster's flesh like a butcher before finally started to wind up the final quick, shouting once again. "Draw your last breath... If you have a nose, that is...Wait lemme do this again... Prepare to see the last of your life!.. Oh yeah, you don't have an eye anymore... Ah fuck it, HWUATAH!"

As she said that, she delivered a vicious final roundhouse to the flesh, making it shake and vibrate from the harsh impact, the combination leaving it extremely fragile now. She panted for a bit, before jumping backwards, and shouting to the last one to strike in her team, her being @Rellan Shard "The stage is yours kiddo! Leave them breathless! GO!"

    It was almost over.

She didn’t know how or even questioned that gut feeling that pulled inside of her. Rellan Shard looked about her, at all the others that were dying for a world that wasn’t even real, and something clicked. It was like a light switch being turned on in her empty attic of a head, and after a few moments all Rellan could do was grin, which turned into an all-out smile before she burst into laughter. The tears that streamed down her face continued even after she’d gradually stopped laughing and the two assholes from earlier that were on their side now (thank god) made some impassioned speeches that were right up her alley, what with all the swearing.

He was right, though. This was it. She could feel it in her bones. It was a feeling she’d never felt, something so instinctual, so real. She was going to die. She was going to die and she felt no fear, no terror, no apprehension. ‘It was a game,’ that little part of her brain that was still trying to cling to logical reality told her. ‘If you die, you just get back up.’

‘But what if I don’t?’ she whispered to herself.

There was silence in her head after that, and Rellan opened up her eyes for what seemed like the very first time. She took the traditional power-up stance that her generation grew up with and screamed in defiance at the ungodly beast they’d been battling for what seemed like years. She felt the attack boost of someone else buffing her attack and that same feral smile that she had on some cycles ago and watched as all her fellow martial artist take steps forward to dash in and attack, to die and bring this unholy enemy down with them, regardless of the cost.

Yet another speech and Rellan was being thrown at Titanius at the speed of sound, perhaps light, and the martial artist came down with a Split Moon Kick, her heel hitting the enemy right on the money.

    …and then she died.
