A Shocking Discovery "Hey you!" A quiet but urgent voice calls out to you from the bushes as two matching pink eyes peer out at your, before reaching out and pulling you into another clearing. It's revealed to be a small girl, looking very serious as she stares at you, hands curled up into fists of determination. It's almost too adorable to really take her seriously, but something in her eyes screams 'help'. Why? You don't know, but before you can even ask what's going on, her mouth opens again to explain. "Listen, I need your help," After pausing for a second, she picks up a basket sitting on the ground next to her. Carefully pulling back the cover, she reveals a basket full of various different eggs, "My name is Kit, I deal with Mystery Eggs and Mini-Pets. And I just happened to find another one, but... I can't reach it." As she says that, she turns her gaze upwards, pointing at the large tree above. Up in one of the highest branches, sitting cozily in a little nest, is what seems to be a Mystery Egg. The climb seems rather dangerous, and the branches at the top are thin and easily breakable. But, it's doable, "I would get it myself, but I'm not as skilled as some of the new comers around here... So will you help me? If you do, I'll give you a prize~" And with that, she smiled somewhat, looking up at you expectantly. There may or may not have been a hint of mischievousness in her eyes, as if she had planned for all this to happen, but who cares. Free stuff, right? What do you do? Retrieve the Mystery Egg and return it to Kit (400 words minimum) and she will will reward you with a special Mystery Egg. Seeing as this is her first task, there will be three rewards handed out to the first three people who post, but who ever posts first will get to choose out of the three eggs which they want, the second of the two remaining, and the third will get the left over. However, choose wisely, as this will be your only obtainable egg for the next two weeks. And most of all, have fun!~
As the brave hero made his way across the land he'd venture far, yet no matter where he went people still hadn't heard of the great and amazing Aaron Steele. But he'd not given up just yet; trying to earn as much respect where he could. He'd stumbled across a female, cute and definitely his type. But totally an NPC so his interest was limited, yet she appeared to call out to him. Eyes shifting as he stopped in place, he would point to himself and smile, "Who me, oh yeah sure, whats up Miss. Need my help?" As he listened to her words he'd chuckle, "Oh no sweat Miss. I got you, let me go ahead and see if I can't get that there egg for ya." Eyes shifting as he took off his armor, and gear to get a more natural feel for climbing as well as avoid the overly large and clunkiness that was the shield. So reaching up he'd naturally attempt to grab a branch; working out a lot outside of the game gave him a fair core, so he'd pull up and crawl up onto the first branch. "Alright, well one down miss. Give me just a few more minutes to go up and get it." Smiling he'd continue. From one branch to the next, slowly making his way up the tree his eyes would shift, his grip slipping some as he would swing and try to use his weight and momentum to fling him forth; grasping at the next. Yet it wasn't always a large gain; sometimes he'd land and others he'd catch another branch going down; thankfully, however. He'd fail to snap a branch or seriously injure himself. But there was always room for him to fail once he got too cocky. His over confidence was his downfall most times. Yet this time it seemed to pay off. As he reached near the top of the tree the male would have finally reached the egg. Looking down he swallows hard; he hated heights but it was a cute chick and it may have been worth it. So grabbing the egg he'd add it to his inventory. While there he'd equip his armor and closed his eyes letting go; plummetting down hitting every branch on the way down he'd eventually land. A heavy thud was heard as he slowly got up; a good chunk of health missing and a few branches scattered he'd open his inventory and remove the egg offering it to her. "This is it right, tell me there wasn't another one and I failed. I really don't want to go back up there." he' says some nervously.
She disappears immediately out the door, not even sure she heard all of the womans explanation. She saw a tree, knew that climbing was her specialty, and got to work immediately. Getting up the tree would be no small feat for most, but she had spent countless hours training to climb things much more difficult than a simple tree. There were a few tough spots where she was forced to make a difficult stretch or two, and she even had to swing and leap once to traverse a particularly wide gap. Finally she had reached her destination. The egg was simply sitting in a nest high up in the branches, almost near the trees canopy. She cautiously looked around, because such a large egg would logically have an equally large guardian. This would not be the case this time though. She sighed in relief and gingerly hoisted the fragile egg, careful to tuck it beneath her arm as if cradling a small child in one hand. It would be an awkward descent, as it was quite difficult reaching this high vantage with the use of both hands, but this time she had her agility and gravity to lean on, whereas the ascent was dependent on skill and strength. Experimentally, she swung down onto a lower branch and caught herself. She swung her legs back and forth to gain a bit of momentum, then dropped down another bit of the way, this time landing on her toes, and had to pause to regain her ballance, panicking for a moment that she would drop the egg clutched in her left arm. Fro there she was free to simply sit on the branch and ease herself down slowly. She was almost close enough to the ground now that she could simply leap the rest of the distance, but didn't want to leave anything to chance. Very cautiously she made her way a bit further down gripping the branches with her now seaty and tired right arm, until finally she saw a clear spot where she could drop the last bit of the way and land safely. With one last glance down at her proze, she said a quick chant for luck and dropped the rest of the way. She landed without a sound, as she had practiced time and time again, tehn straightened and dusted herself off. Triumphantly,l she offered the egg to her benefactor with a smile, quietly wodnering if she'd agreed to this for some sort of pay, or just because she was terribly bored at the moment.
Alpha had returned to Brisshal upon hearing rumors of a mini-pet breeder springing up around the parts alongside the latest game update. There were many false calls throughout her time in Terrasphere yet, with each time, she immediately set about to the destination with determination in her eyes and a penchant for violence (the willingness to do whatever it took to get to the prize). Her hobby and obsession with collecting eggs and mini-pets had begun almost inconspicuously during her earlier days of roaming the game world with her beta reward, a simple mystery egg, laying around in her crafted pouch. The egg had soon hatched into her beloved companion, Luna, and the growing entourage which followed her soon developed into an inter-species family that Alpha found herself craving for. Through it all, she seemed to go a bit off the deep end at times with her desire to expand that nuclear family unit of hers. It was simple enough to find the breeder. Terry seemed to have a natural propensity towards searching for particular things and this NPC was no exception despite the dingo never having seen her before. The moment Terry had finally led her into the general area of where the breeder was, however, she was interrupted by a plead for assistance. Alpha turned to see a blonde-haired girl with a frankly cute outfit standing there, picking up a basket filled with a plethora of uniquely colored eggs, speak to her. As the lady introduced herself, Alpha felt compelled to follow route and oblige herself in friendly conversation despite the blood rushing in her veins compelling her to move onward and find the breeder for some new eggs. She squished the anxiety in her gut down and gave the girl (Kit, she reminded herself) a brilliant smile. "Name's Alpha!" she giggled, extending her hand in warm greeting. The way she had spoke held no implication nor sign that she herself was feeling weary and overexcited in her quest. Luna and Corn, however, detected the barest hints of overflowing energy from her and the hedgehog hopped from his perch atop Terry to land onto Alpha's foot and still her frequent, incessant tapping. She looked surprise and, after thanking the hedgehog for his graceful interruption, rubbed her head sheepishly at Kit. "Haha, sorry bout that, just had somewhere I was going to go but I'm totally excited bout helping you get your mystery egg up there!" she neglected to say that she was barely restraining herself from hopping up the tree, snatching the egg, and running away with the loot herself. Sighing, she pulled out her dagger from her sheath, wincing at the sight of the two dangling cobwebs and twin spiders that hung off of it. Castor and Pollux, the two spiderlings she had obtained from Arachna's webbed egg, had frightened her like no other yet she wasn't about to abandon her precious babies simply from fear. She was, however, content to let them fly loosely around her weapon. Without another word, she took the dagger and dug it into the tree bark, using it as leverage to jump up and, swiftly pulling the dagger out, stabbed the tree yet again and hung from the indentation. She continued the process a handful of times before reaching the egg and, with practiced grace, leaped down from the tree branch and landed before Kit (albeit with a bit of stumbling upon landing, struggling to regain her balance). "There ya go, Kit!" she smiled. "Now I gotta go, it was nice meeting you though!" she laughed. @Kit
Congrats, Aaron! Although she felt kinda bad when the man literally fell next to him, but he seemed to be okay, so she took the egg gratefully, tucking it into her basket with a small smile, "Thank you. It's really appreciated." And then, she carefully removed three eggs from her basket, setting them on top of the blanket covering the rest. "You can choose one of these three eggs to take along with you. I won't tell you what bound to be inside, just... Choose what feels right." Her eyes sparkled a little bit as she looked up at him expectantly, waiting for his decision. You have a choice from three eggs. Gives 1 of 6 possible pets) Mystical Mystery Egg - This egg is light and airy, and very gives off a very soothing aura the closer you get to it. As the male seemed relieved that he had not been required to reclimb the tree a bit of sweat dripped from his brow, wiping it he'd smile and nod; "Anything for someone in need; I mean after all I am a hero, what kind would I be to ignore the cries for help." then upon hearing her speak he'd wave his hand, "No, really there is no need to..." his words cut off she already had forced out a few options before him. Lips curling as he saw the eggs each one taking on different characteristics he'd Ooo in awe. Lips parting the male would nod, "Yeah, alright. I'll accept the gift. Now let's see...I like that one, that one seems to need some sort of bath, then again maybe I should claim that blue one. It seems almost like it's meant for me. Then again the pink one...Dang, this is tough. Hold on, is this quest repeatable." he'd mutter to himself. Eyes scanning over the eggs he'd frown some. "Well I want the pink one, but I know it's probably your favorite. So I won't do that to you. I see that black one and think it's probably terrible and you wouldn't want it. Then I see the plain one and think well that's not very attractive but at least it doesn't smell like smoke. If I had to guess..." He'd pause again very indecisive. Lips curling one last time they'd part. "I'll take the Creepy Mystery one, it seems like it needs the most love. I'll be sure to give it the proper love and care. I just hope it's safe. Who knows what is in it. Looks can be deceiving. Thank you again for such a wonderful gift." He'd say as he leaned over to pick up the egg, bowing and adding it to his inventory, then taking his leave. He has made his decision; what would come of it, only time would tell. @Kit

Taking the egg from her gratefully, she tucked it away, "Thank you, its..." She yawned once more, "Much appreciated." She looked Kit over, somewhat curious as to why the first egg was so important if she just hands eggs out as if they were party favors, but she relented and looked over her options slowly. It wasn't much of a choice, because she loathed anything pink and cutesy, but something urged her to take her time just in case. After a moment of pondering just for the sake of saying she was careful about it, she selected the blue mystic egg. Something about it resonated with her, and gave off a wonderful, energizing chakra. As the little girl, or Alpha, as she went by, jumped down, Kit yawned even louder than before, nodding at her sleepily as she took the egg from her hands, tucking it away in her basket, "Wait, wait... You get a prize." Pulling out only one egg this time, she held it out towards the girl, blinking at her through her half lidded gaze as a weak smile pulled upwards at her lips, nodding at the Mystery Egg she held in her hand, "Here you are, Alpha.
