Personality
A terrible fellow, terribly dull. A complacent life of simple, risk-free, decisions have left Alin simple and bereft of interesting experiences. He was left curious, wanting, of experiences his overprotective parents "saved" him from. This makes him adventurous while also making him daft, naive, and tone deaf. His one-track mind often only focuses on his perspective and his lack of perspective often makes Alin out to be rude, mean, or a buffoon. When he has the chance to think, since he needs his time, he can provide plenty of depth of character, ingenuity, and kindness. He just has to care enough in the first place. Isn't that the rub.
Positive: Adventurous, Calm, Curious, Youthful
Negative: Shallow, Single-minded, Passive, Cowardly, Pedantic, Indulgent
Biography
Alin Rapozo was born to a middle-class family on the west coast. In a safe town, where life doesn't happen. He had a simple existence with muted highs and subdued lows. He'd never gone through anything awful. Alin never had a bad life. The worst things he ever had to endure were simple and ignoble like missing out on his dream college or watching good friendships wither and die from neglect. No one in his immediate family ever really suffered, no deaths or cancer. His childhood pet dog was still alive, peaceful, old, and amiable.
Without any stops or pauses and plenty of support Alin kept himself busy with education and whittled away his free time with casual games. The great time of awakening that college was to most people was more of the same that he had always known. Life with his doting parents. The nearby university he studied at was the ultimate destination of his schooling career. That fact was written in stone. Then he finished. He graduated. There was no single path to go on, no task or goal to steadily walk towards.
That year, fresh out of college and developing his future life plan Alin had the time to enjoy more serious games. Full virtual reality games. He had a way to enjoy lives he'd never known before. Experience dangers he'd never had. On his own time, his own way. The freedom was intoxicating but he could never get over the feeling of something holding him back. That is why he accepted the invitation to Terrasphere. He figured the lack of true immersion was holding him back. On the precipice of deciding how to live his real life he wanted to live a real, true, dangerous virtual reality one.
