There are people who get excited over video games, for sure, but usually people don't scream with joy when finally playing one. However, Frost found himself getting pretty excited once he saw how realistic everything looked inside the game. It was indistinguishable from the real world. The only difference is that he felt slightly taller and if he saw his reflection he'd see an unfamiliar face, which was kinda creepy at first, but he figured he'd get used to it soon. Maybe he'd even dye his hair in real life to make it easier. Or was that too far? Maybe it was better to hide your identity in a game like this. It was something he'd have to think about later. Right now, he was ready to play. He ran through the forest he spawned in, admiring the environment. He could get lost in this world forever. If he wasn't careful, there was a good chance that he would. It was a dangerous thought, but damn was it a tempting one. Frost was so caught up, thinking about how much time he would be spending in here when he barreled into someone. He yelled out as he crashed into the dirt. He groaned as he lay there for a moment. He definitely felt at least a little bit of pain, so at least there wasn't any false advertising. Frost looked and saw the person he ran into and sprang up. "Oh god...I'm so sorry, are you alright?" He didn't think he hurt her too bad, but hey...it was polite to at least apologize, right? @Milah
It had been a few months now since Milah had been introduced into TerraSphere by her sister. Not one used to gaming, unlike her sibling, the brunette had found it hard to get used to all the options and user interface and other knickknacks that the game provided. The teen hadn't been terribly bothered by it though, content enough to follow the lead of Lycia for these things and rely on the blonde for help when needed. After all she would have time to slowly get the hang of it, and as new players the girls wouldn't probably face anything too terribly out of their league... .. and then that [ World Boss - Titanius ] event had happened. Milah hadn't fully grasped how expansive and immersive TerraSphere truly was until the chaos of that event. How insignificant her avatar and that of her sister's were compared to some of the beasts and behemoths this game could throw at them. Further more it had emphasized just how big and how easily the twins could become separated; and if that was the case then how could Milah find her way back to protect Lycia if she wasn't knowledgeable and more familiar with all the in game features and elements? Of course, getting stronger was important too--but so was learning the basics. So today she had decided to adventure a bit on her own, having some free time while her sister finished some other thing in a different game she liked to engage in as well (although slowly it had been getting more and more ignored thanks to TerraSphere), with the intent of not just getting familiar with the UI and game elements--but also her new bow and gloves from the event. There was a forest not too far from the town the girls had first appeared on, which meant once Lycia was online Milah could meet u with her quick enough. The gloves still felt odd to the Felis, a faint energy that Milah couldn't quite pinpoint or describe tingling at the tips of her fingers whenever she nocked another arrow into the Ember Short Bow. At first she had tried to see if it was related to something in game, but after half an hour of bow practice and nothing abnormal happening the teen decided to disregard it out of her mind for the time being. Maybe Milah jsut wasn't used to their material or someth-- Ooof! One moment she was placing the retrieved arrows back into her quiver, her mind still mulling over the gloves and their material, and the next Milah had smacked onto something and landed flat on her ass as a result. The brunette winced, more startled than hurt really, before an unfamiliar voice caught her ears. I'm fine, just a bit surprised... The kitten's ears were folded back against her skull as she eyed the stranger wearily, the avatar looking slightly older from her own--although it was really hard to measure anyone's age through this game unless they were blatantly apparent about it. Carefully she got back to her feet, a hand patting away some of the vegetation that clung to her leather shorts, though she continued to keep the stranger within her line of sight.
