Valentine can best be describe as the way Clair views himself internally. Though in truth the way each acts is complete opposite. Valentine is extremely adventurous and outgoing. Always seeking that next big adventure, and helping everyone out along the way. He spews confidence, and has the arrogance to that goes with it. Nothing will get Valentine down and nothing will get in his.
Clair however is extremely introverted and shy. He only leaves the house to work, and then immediately comes back home speaking to basically no one. He has maybe one to two friends at most, and they are friends he met and speaks to over the internet.

Biography
Clair was raised in a higher middle-class family. Not exactly rich, but almost there. He was the only child his parents ever had, and they dotted on him. He never once had to ask for anything, but at the same time they were busy people working ridiculous hours and so they used T.V. and video games as a babysitter.
That was all fine and dandy while Clair was a child, but as he grew older he began to get picked on more and more. He always looked like a girl and boys in middle school and high school made fun of him for it. Not that it bothered him any he quite enjoyed the way he looked. He found himself beautiful, but the constant harassment from fellow class mates caused him to withdraw inward. With no person around to talk to his problems about he became more and more reliant and addicted to the world of gaming as a place where he could be his true self and fear no reprisal.
After graduating high school Clair attended college for a few years, before deciding to drop and work a local bank. In the adult world if you didn't engage people they didn't engage back and so he found making friends as an adult hard. As such he continued his life of gaming with support from his family and his low income job to survive. A few months ago he began to hear rumors of a new game and decided it was something that sounded interesting and worth pursuing.
