Personality
Akio is a your average fellow with a facade to impose upon others. He is driven when it comes to things he's interested in and tends to get lost in his hobbies. He tends to enjoy the banter between him and his peers, seeing establishing a social network nothing more than a game. He's into his regiment which allows him to take advantage of his tall physique, but his really just a softy on the inside. He dotes on his pets and next of kin.
But he wants something a little more out of life, that being a good woman to call his own. Unfortunately when he gets involved with things he tends to be selfish. It's always about having one foot out the door and an escape plan in his back pocket. When he deals with others past well to dos and professional work he's a wishy washy fellow. Who prefers keeping people at arm's length.
Alana though, is his avatar. He just loves shorter women and tends to enjoy the freedom of the game. Terra sphere gives him license to be lewd, crude, and selfish as he desires. He can party with bad guys to take from others, or dive bomb into the fray with others like a hero. All while giving him free reign to slap his own butt using the full dive technology. or take a look at himself by kicking monster butt.

Biography
Akio grew up in a gambling home. Every other week was spent hoping his mother didn’t spend her money on various card games at the local casino. His father was always away on business to keep the roof over their family’s heads. Due to his father's work as a transient union worker doing menial carpentry jobs as an unstable rate, he would often only be able to cover Akio's housing expense.
Rather than fall into despair, he picked up outlet in gaming. It started as a slow trickle with friends which allowed him to escape while he wasn't home. It was something he immersed himself in to hide from the uncertain reality. Akio got into games where they were literally titled, " Final fantasy". Games which put him in control of a world where he has the license to save it. After a few playthroughs bumming off his friends, he developed his own penchant for gambling in order to continue hiding from society.
Fast forward and Akio is a 9-5’er with a penchant for the, “thrill of the hunt”. While he has finished his education and landed himself a sweet gig taking counseling children as more of a life coach, he still retained his gambling streak. If Mr. Yamanaka came back grouchy, most knew it was because he took his Christmas bonus or his tax return for a spin.
When life sucks he still turned to his gaming habits. Things were a lot different in his present time than they were when he first got into the hobby. However pirating games and doing semi-legal stuff was still his forte even pushing thirty. Terra sphere offered an old jaded coot some form of escape that rivaled his first foray into the hobby. It was not only an escape, but it was a place where he could potentially chase monsters with cool loot rather than chasing the monster that is 3 7’s.
