_____Nothing like a couple bottles of wine to make any boring day a bit more interesting. Purple tainted liquid dripping out the corner of the woman's lip as she strolled all over the side walk while tipping the bottle to her lips without much care for how it looked. Nothing had been the same since she died the first time, getting burnt alive still haunted her memories and to coup she started drinking heavily. The second death only made her habit worse in the game. Frame tipping against a wall as Kaede narrowly avoided someone who would have ran into her back despite seeming so drunk to even notice.

_____What more, waving in her free hand was the purse the man had been holding. Moving her arm backwards and letting it go in a woman's hand who looked ready to shout her purse was taken by the man. A slow lift her wine bottle as Kaede pushed off the wall and started walking again. Astral magic, seeing the future... As someone who dealt with it Kaede would warn anyone who thought it would be cool to have. Deaths, pain, suffering, those seemed to be the only thing you got to see with that magic.

_____Turning the corner as the sun caught Kaede's gaze causing the girl to back up a few steps and cover her eyes with her empty hand. Moving into the nearest building as the bustle of the tavern caught her ears and she smiled. Another swig of Kaede's wine bottle before it was empty and she moved to try and find herself a table. Nothing like the tavern to drown out her astral magic, and drinks to make sure it stayed drowned out so she could sleep or enjoy life.

As happened occasionally Vina had found herself performing in a tavern, playing her flute as the people around her enjoyed their drinks, their food and each other's presence. It was a fun job, since she got to entertain people and have them enjoy their lives, and even if she didn't get paid for it she'd still do it. As it was she refused any official pay but still ended up making a steady sum thanks to people throwing her some coins as a sign of appreciation of her music, and while Vina would decline being hired she wasn't so utterly dedicated to the part of being a selfless heroine that she would go and return the tossed money to everyone. For one thing, that'd just make everything awkward for everyone involved and for the other, she trusted them not to throw any money they couldn't afford to spare.

And it wasn't like she was hesitant to give other people money when they needed it either. Money was only worth as much as it could buy and for Vina there wasn't much she wanted which required a lot of money.

If she had to name a downside to tavern performances it's that the hot and busy air wasn't always as good for her hair, and ever since she had gained the ability to control the air with her magic that wasn't really much of a problem either. Her hair swirled around her by the breeze she herself had summoned, following the movements of her body and legs as she danced even as she worked the flute with fingers and hands, her merry song weaving its way throughout the tavern as Vina's azure eyes searched for those who stared at her body, the blue orbs glinting with mischievous and knowing intent as she put some effort into moving her hips. With her outfit being formed of leafs and revealing a lot of skin combined with her having a tall and slender figure there was a lot for people to stare at, and she didn't mind showing them.

However just because Vina enjoyed doing this didn't mean she didn't occasionally need a break to catch her breath and recover some energy, and at the same time that Kaede entered the tavern Vina was sitting at the bar, drinking something only mildly alcoholic so it wouldn't mess with her senses while she relaxed and thought of which song to play next. Ever since coming to Terrasphere she'd learned of a lot of new tunes, and she wondered if the makers of the game had thought of all those songs themselves or if the AIs were just showing their creativity and self-awareness. Honestly she thought the latter, if only because it fit her already existing theory that these people were as self-aware as those of Earth.

As her eyes moved across the room Vina spotted the Yladian moving through the room, and noticed that while she wasn't falling or shaking the woman still moved with a certain clumsiness, which Vina quickly recognized as someone who was well and truly drunk. As much as Vina liked people enjoying themselves she didn't want them to go too far in drinking themselves into a stupor, so she looked at Kaede for several seconds before ordering a second drink. Once it had arrived she stood up and made her way over to the pointy-eared seer, swaying her heeps from side to side as she gave her new friend a wide smile, her tail moving from side to side behind her as her ears stood straight up.

Hey there! I noticed that you emptied your bottle so I decided to help you out. Mind if I sit with you?

While her goal was to help Kaede not overdo it VIna had enough expertise with supportive and restorative magics that she could have some fun and satisfy the Yladian's desire for a strong drink without compromising her mission. Placing the stronger drink she had ordered for Kaede in front of the Yladian the white-tailed Felis sat down on the other side of the table, arching her back and showing off her chest as she reached behind her with her free hand to make sure her tail wouldn't be uncomfortably positioned.

You know, I think we've met before but we haven't ever really introduced ourselves. You were with us on the mission to retake the fort from the bandits, right?

_____Kaede waved to show she was fine with the woman taking a seat, after all it was not exactly her place to say they could not sit there. Looking the woman over Kaede had to stifle a laugh, it was one thing to dress with little cloths but to wear leaves was honestly not something she saw as common. Taking the offered drink with a slight nod before she whistled in approval of Vina’s attire and actions so far while setting the drink down before taking a sip. Kaede’s eyes flickering black for a moment before returning to blue.

”I’d prefer you did not try and sober me up. I’m drinking because if i don’t my magic… that flash of my eyes turning pure black just now… keeps happening… When it does I tend to see things in the future I don’t like to see. Drinking is one of the few ways I can stop such random sparks of my magic.”

_____With her peace said Kaede lifted the drink to take a small sip before she sighed lightly. Her eyes flicking black again as she held her head and took a larger sip this time around until her eyes returned to normal. One day she seriously needed to get a full handle of her magic or give it another outlet of use. Waving her free hand at @Vina Skysong as she chuckled and winked. Her Astral magic for once not giving her some grim vision, or rather one of very few times.

”Would you believe me if i said there was a seventy eight percent chance we end tonight kissing or more to that nature?~ To be honest not many do so I would understand… future sight and overactive mind for detail and possibilities makes me always see the numbers first… then feel I have to prove to them I was right…”

_____Kaede waved her hands to show a seven and eight before taking another sip of her given drink without much worry if it was drugged or not. To be fair she saw a fairly low possibility of such and already gathered the information to counter or react in such an event. Moving to rest her head as she held it again and her eyes flickered black for a brief moment before she was allowed to relax. Still not drunk enough it seemed.

 

Vina gave a slightly mischievous smile when Kaede whistled, the foxwoman being very strongly aware what the whistle was for. Her outfit was called Dryad's Foliage, and just like you'd expect from the attire of a forest nymph it wasn't exactly covering. While plantlike clothes covered enough of her body that she could be considered decent in the eyes of the law most of her midriff, stomach, back, arms, legs and cleavage was still on display, with the leafs forming a dense foliage around her hips, thighs, waist, sides, chest and shoulders. Unlike its appearance there was little risk of revealing anything the public would be scandalized by, but even so it still looked a lot more naked than if she had been wearing normal clothes, even if those clothes covered the same areas.

However if Vina wasn't all right with showing off her slender form she wouldn't be wearing the outfit.

When the blue eyes turned black for a moment Vina blinked, startled but controlling her reaction so she wouldn't startle the woman in return, although quickly relaxing once Kaede explained that it was part of her magic, her eyes turning black whenever she caught a glimpse of the future. Tilting her head to the side Vina took a sip of her own drink, studying Kaede with more curiosity now.

It's your choice whether to get drunk or not, and if you don't want me to sober you up I won't~ If you can see the future there's little need to try and hide it, but I can understand that if you're plagued by visions you might want to stay distracted. That said, maybe there are other distractions you could use~?

She winked before taking another sip, leaning back against her chair and in the process giving an ample view of her chest. While her rack couldn't be called impressive it was still fairly decent, and even if she didn't have sheer size Vina still had good skin and well shaped curves, and her attire also helped her show off. When Kaede mentioned the possibility of kissing or similar things she raised her eyebrows, but even before she answered she'd already reached forward with her long tail to brush the tip against Kaede's leg, the lustrous fur stroking her skin as the Felis giggled.

So you can see enough of the future that you can calculate the odds? That's... incredible, really. I'm betting most people would already have trouble understanding just what they're seeing. As for me, I believe it, although if it's only seventy eight percent maybe I need to buy you some more drinks to improve the odds~

The tip of her tail gently curled around one of Kaede's ankles, not holding onto it but surrounding it in the softest fur as Vina's eyes glinted with mischief and her smile looked a little less innocent than before. However she held up one finger as if in warning, wagging it from side to side.

Although in that case you'll have to let me at least help you stay sober enough that you can play~ I don't mind being in charge but vomit is a bit of a turn off.

Kaede would find that her drink was... not exactly drugged, but Vina had obviously done something to it. Her drunkenness didn't go away, but somehow it was both softened and enhanced, Vina's quick working allowing her body to smoothly break down the alcohol without immediately nullifying it so at the very least she wouldn't have a massive hangover the next day, and she wasn't in danger of random mood swings or nausea either.

_____From each movement Vina made to each word she said just seemed to tease Kaede’s lust more than it already was. Setting the drink down Kaede moved her leg slightly away from the tail, a hint of unease for a moment before she held her head again and grumbled something about someone shouting to loudly before it happen moments later. But despite hearing the same loud shout twice she seemed more relieved then annoyed as she let go of her head and stretched her arms upward. Smiling for a moment as she took the drink up again and siped it lightly as she reached a hand across the table.

”To be fair the numbers are fairly loose… I try to account for various variables and unlikely situations, sometimes considering that even the cover of the book is fairly wrong…”

_____Kaede moved her fingers as if counting with her one hand, the glow in her eyes seeming to change rapidly as Kaede kept doing numerous algorithms with different interchanging variables to recalculate the odds again with the additional information from both normal observation, enhanced observation, and the brief foresights that occured after her first calculation. It was honestly a bit troublesome that she could still think clearly enough to do so many at one time but as she took another sip she decided to stop going over the numbers.

”I assure you, buying me more drinks would only minorly affect the odds by roughly two percent. I’m the type who, ...sober or drunk would likely kiss any woman or more.~ To be honest the main variables I accounted to lower the odds was likelihood of tavern brawl, and chances it started going beyond kissing here and we got booted out or worse… males tried to get in…”

_____The moment Kaede mentioned males trying to ruin things it seemed her mood soured greatly, her free hand tapping the table rapidly as flickers of her temper slash dislike for the opposite sex showed. But after a few moments Kaede waved her free hand to see if Vina would be willing to sit closer and not, across from her. While her calculation suggested the likelihood was probable she still had to try and hope she was not asked to do it instead. If Vina seemed all for the idea Kaede figured to go the extra chance and moved to offer the girl a chance to sit on Kaede’s lap.

Feeling Kaede pull away from her tail Vina suppressed a frown as she instead just pulled her tail back, her smile becoming a bit apologetic for a moment before she watched the woman react in advance to a man yelling loudly. Vina's own ears twitched but she'd had enough experience dealing with taverns that she bore the loud noise without wincing, instead being more interested in how Kaede reacted.

I see. Well, I try to be open and easy to read, so you don't need to include too many variables for me, at least not once you've gotten to know me~

Given that most of the actual work happened inside Kaede's head the Felis could only see the fingers and the dancing lights, but she could imagine what was going on inside behind that pretty face. The Felis for her part just kept sipping from her drink, her tail now lazily swaying from side to side behind her as she looked quite interested, that same mischievous but gentle smile continuing to beam at Kaede while the white-haired druidess looked quite happy listening to the seer.

When Kaede explained that the variables were more about external factors than her own motivation Vina giggled, making an open motion with her free hand which was a mix between indicating the rest of the room and a carefree dispersion of problems.

Duly noted~ I myself don't really need to be drunk either to suggest some fun, so I think we'll get along really well~ As for the people around us, you don't have to worry about a fight or them kicking us out if we get too into it. While I won't stoop so low as to carelessly play with people's thoughts and feelings one part of my services as a performer is making sure the patrons stay calm and happy.

It was one of the trickier parts of Harmonic Magic, the ability to directly influence the people who listened to your music. Mind control was out of the question, since that would mean stealing people's freedom, but from a logical perspective there wasn't really anything wrong with weaving a calming sensation into your music. You weren't forcing people to take a certain option, you weren't denying them their right to choose: you just gently steered them away from harming themselves and others, and rationally speaking it wasn't different from convincing someone to remain calm and content except that this was much more reliable and effective.

However right now Vina was focused on something else than the more complicated parts of her profession (both from a professional and an ethical perspective). Instead she was looking at Kaede through her long eyelashes, a very faint blush on her cheeks from the drink as she stood up from her chair.

But judging from the way you reacted to that shouting man you feel better if that what you predict comes to pass, so it would be rude and mean of me if I didn't do my best to be true to the seventy eight percent~

Stepping around the table Vina quickly took the offered spot on Kaede's lap, nimbly straddling the woman so the two of them were facing each other while the white-haired Felis looked into Kaede's blue eyes with her own azure, her smokey gaze making it clear she was both having fun and looking forward to the next part, her drink placed on the table where it was out of the way.

_____Kaede could only blink as @Vina Skysong seemed to ask a question that need not be asked. If Kaede was speaking so freely about the stuff why would she try to be all saint now? Moving to lean forward Kaede smiled happily at the girl who seemed very willing to help her stay distracted. Allowing her smile to fade Kaede leaned closer to try and lock her lips with Vina’s just a moment prior to the action spent licking her lips before they locked together.

_____Kaede had to admit though, of all things she felt her kissing needed the most work. While by no means was she a bad kisser, she just knew of a few girls that left her jaw dropped and very few times had she been lucky enough to do the same for another girl. The way she started the kiss was simple, a slight turn of her head as to avoid their noses clashing or bumping foreheads. A gentle press to start before a slightly aggressive advance that ended as quickly as it started simply to play around to start and get a feel.

_____Kaede’s right hand moved down, along Vina’s right side of her back until it gently found itself wrapping the girl’s rear cheek. Her touch was gentle, but still held firm to show she was trying to play nice but had a more aggressive nature behind it. Her left hand moved to Vina’s upper back, carefully wrapping over the girl’s right shoulder to find itself just able to rub against the woman’s right breast. Kaede was no longer caring for if anyone chose to look over and see the action, herself far to in the moment to wish to miss out. Kaede moved back slightly to see Vina eye to eye as she spoke with a devious tone.

”Hopefully that is a decent enough answer, or would you like me to give a more… direct hint?~”

_____In reply to her comment Kaede did so anyways, her right hand moving to try and slip under the leaves that covered Vina’s ass to gently massage the muscles while Kaede pressed her body closer to the girl. It was almost fun, but at the same time Kaede was never one to display herself and another girl to males. If she was asked she would try her hardest, but when a male whistled and Kaede’s eyes flickered with pain it seemed there was a backstory to that reason of avoid such.

 

Seeing that Kaede was happy to answer physically rather than with words, and that her answer was obvious from the very beginning, Vina smiled and draped her arms across the woman's shoulders and around her neck. Due to the two of them being of near similar height and Vina sitting on Kaede's lap she had to lower her head a bit to meet her lips with the seer's, her azure eyes glimmering before they both engaged the kiss and Vina closed her eyes to focus more on the tactile sensation.

She started out gentle, just pressing her lips against Kaede's, matching the woman's slow start until she parted her lips slightly and let her tongue probe Kaede's lips for entry, once the Yladian's mouth was open slipping inside to stroke her tongue lightly. After the contact she immediately retreated, inviting Kaede to come into Vina's mouth and play all she liked, the Felis being rather proud of her oral skills as she waited for Kaede to both take the invitation and control. Once Kaede became more aggressive the white-haired druidess accepted it happily, her tongue twisting to wrap around and rub against Kaede's even if Vina still left it up to the seer to control the pace. It wasn't often that someone was so willing to take charge, and she enjoyed playing second fiddle even if she was still determined to do a damn good job.

The druidess wrapped her tail around Kaede's legs while she crossed her own ankles behind the chair the two of them were sitting on, her obscenely long white hair cascading from her shoulders and their entangled bodies, partially obscuring them from the onlookers as it reached all the way to the ground. Feeling the woman's hand on her ass and the other on her breast Vina let out a pleased sound, softly grinding against Kaede with her hips and crotch as her body responded favourably to the two playful hands.

When Kaede pulled back from the kiss Vina frowned for a moment, having been enjoying herself greatly before she reprimanded herself and opened her eyes to smile back at the seer, her azure eyes bright with lust, mischief, enjoyment and affection. In response to Kaede's question the druidess hummed, acting like she actually had to consider the question before answering.

Hmmm... I dunno... I think I got it, but maybe a more direct hint wouldn't hurt either~?

Her ears twitched before she happily resumed the kiss together with Kaede, this time even letting out a soft moan into the woman's mouth while Kaede's hand would easily find soft and warm skin, Vina's bubble butt completely vulnerable and available to whatever the seer wanted to do with it. However even when occupied with the more pleasant things Vina still did her best to look after the people around her, so she didn't fail to notice that when the males around them voiced their approval Kaede faltered, the white-tailed Felis frowning briefly as well as she realized that maybe her newest lover wasn't too eager to do this in the open, no matter how forward and blunt she was. Breaking the kiss Vina rested her forehead against Kaede's, the mischief, lust and enjoyment having dimmed as concern joined affection.

_____When Vina spoke to bring it to a more private spot Kaede could not help but blush. Part of her was still thinking the girl would push Kaede to do things here, see how far she was willing to go in public display before she buckled from the driver seat or tried to jump out the moving car so to speak. Her face slowly nodding in agreement, but not before her hand gently rubbed Vina’s ass a bit more before retreating like her other hand to allow the girl to get up first.

_____Kaede did not seem to keen to stand up right away, her hand moving to her sides as her blush seemed to worsen if Vina looked at Kaede’s waist to see she already seemed to have enjoyed the start a bit to much. Even if she wanted to contest she knew deep down it was pointless. Kaede would stay nervously behind Vina most of the time, her legs buckling every so often like a little kid almost as she could not help it with people still watching them.

So after giving Kaede a very tempted look the druidess smiled and nodded, winking at the seer teasingly before getting off of her lap.

Taking the gold Vina wove her way through the crowd towards the barkeep, quickly buying herself and Kaede a room for the night before moving back towards the seer, giving Kaede some time to recompose herself and let her arousal get down to a more manageable level. While Vina wouldn't want her lover to completely lose her heat it would be better if she could get up the stairs without issue.

That said she didn't dawdle, and once back at the table she carefully helped Kaede get up before leading her through the room towards the stairs, holding the woman's hand both so they wouldn't get separated and so she would have plenty of opportunity to tease the woman, both with her nimble fingers rubbing against Kaede's and to make it easier for Kaede to observe Vina's swaying hips and notable bubble butt. Once at the stairs Vina guided Kaede up, then counted the doors in the hallway on the first floor as she walked past them, trying to figure out which room they should take.

Opening one of the doors Vina pulled Kaede inside, once the two of them were through pushing the door shut by bumping her hip into it before locking it so they wouldn't get disturbed. _____Kaede waited, then followed, and while Vina was likely setting the enchantment she moved to sit down on the bed. Her mind relaxing as she fell back dangling her legs for a moment. She did not give much a reply to Vina's comment about holding back outside a very devious smile and wink. Once she felt the Felis had finished what she wanted to do Kaede rose to sit back up and spoke.

"To be honest I think I do hold back sometimes. but that is mostly because I'm... well... for lack of a better word a bit sadistic when I get to riled up.~"

_____Kaede rose back to her feet with a serious yet playful smile. Being slightly under the influence of drinks had her tongue a bit loose but soon it likely would not matter. Moving slowly to Vina as Kaede hummed lightly, no rush to get to her destination, but once she had it would be fun, least for her. With a slight bit of force Kaede would push @Vina Skysong against a wall, hands resting on the girls shoulders as she pressed herself against the girl and tried to resume kissing her.

_____Kaede's tempo seemed so different now, she was not nervous or honestly hesitantly poking her toes into the water, rather soaking her feet and calf as she asserted what control she could. Feeling Kaede's hands exploring her body Vina softly moanded into her lover's mouth, arching her back and feeling goosebumps in response to the deft touch before the hands reached her behind and lifted her up, the druidess voicing her approval with an excited gasp.
