Private - It was legal in this time setting...

  1. Mahiru sat down again, taking the plate of fruits with a smile. "You can have the meat..." She began munching on some bunny apples. "You know, you're good at carving apples..."

Mahiru listened to Kaede's explanation of hating frilly dresses. "I think you'd look good in one..." She gave a soft smile as reassurance. "Those maids must have good tastes..." She noticed the offer to hang up her clothes and handed them over with a small "Thanks." Noticing the wolf acting like a puppy, Mahiru let out a little giggle. "An energetic one, is he? So, what's our plan now?"

  2. ”Well what you want to do from here is up to you. While i would personally recommend not trying to train closer to or at night since even the beginning area has dangerous threats around that time frame. I could offer to train you somewhat if you would like since i have been around the game since it first launched… though only seriously getting into it after a few months in because just doing politics and negotiations got boring…”

_____Kaede began to rant as she set her meat down and took out her dagger along with another apple. Figuring to give Mahiru a quick show as she tossed the apple up and moved her hand rapidly while the now free hand got a plate. When it fell down the skin peeled away and was cut just like the other apple slices. A perk to knowing the force she needed, the numbers to count for when to move and all that other ‘crazy brain power’ stuff as he dad would have said if he saw her.

”Aside from that if you needed a place to say i’m sure my dad would be fine with you staying at the manor, just be warned he likes to tell stories and they drag on for some time…”

_____While it seemed sort of dangerous when Kaede waved her dagger around in circles to make her point of dragging on comment she moved to clean it against her sleeve before sheathing it at her side once more. A brief moment spent eating more food before she noticed her grimoire glowing at her side and looked it over. Of course to @Mahiru Wind it just looked like Kaede was looking at a bunch of blank pages during this time.

  3. As Mahiru listened to Kaede's suggestions, she couldn't help but think. I want some equipment... "Maybe I should get some training on my magic..." She looked around. "But yeah, I need somewhere to stay..." She noticed some blood on her leg. "Oh, I was bitten..." She opened her menu and stumbled through some menus. After a bit, the tip of two of her fingers started glowing faintly. Putting them to the wound, it magically disappeared without a trace apart from the blood that had already dripped. "So that's white magic... Okay, maybe we should get going."

  4. _____Closing her book Kaede smiled happily, watching Mahiru decide what she wanted to do next in her adventure twice now was rather amusing to her. Tapping the spine of her grimoire before Kaede nodded and whistled to call back Tsuki-yumi and tossed him the meat that Mahiru did not seem to want and took the extra piece with her to wrap in some grey rubber like paper before stashing it in her pack along with a few items to eat and refilling her cask with some water. Getting a second pack and cask set up to sling over her back also for Mahiru before she moved to the door.

”It’s a fairly long trip back to the manor from here, walking the entire way myself was roughly a… I think seven hour trip? Not like I mind the longer walks, if the book says I should go somewhere I try to follow it… Oh sorry… should explain that part i guess ha-ha, sometimes I spend more time in my own head then I should.~”

Kaede paused and turned in the doorway to face Mahiru as she lifted the book up, before flipping to show it was entirely blank.

”I Picked up ‘Astral magic’ in a rough sense it lets me see into the future, the book helps be focus that instead of only getting a random straw when I tried without it. Most times I got some mass murder or massacre that I rushed to try and stop but now unless I try to think about one before I use my magic they don’t show up unless it’s a very large one… Sorry… did not mean for that to get gloomy like that… it’s not an entire bad magic… just… well tricky to use I guess...”

_____Kaede looked down as she lowered her book, feeling a tad bit guilty for making the game sound bad. Despite the way things had been for Kaede she could not bring herself to do such things, the game was very well made, albit had a very dangerous bug that ruined her life less it could be fixed but still a good game. Recalling that fact though Kaede kept walking as she spoke up again.

”You had been asleep for some time, so if you have school or something you need to do in real life around this time I don’t mind waiting for you to come back before we start the trip. If you feel you could trust me enough though there is the choice to have your character stay in the game world while you are away and i could carry you until you get back. It’s no trouble at all and i swear i will behave myself.~”

_____Kaede looked over her shoulder as she stuck her tongue out playfully for her last comment. While so far Mahiru had been very much spared from Kaede’s usual actions due to her being below Kaede’s choice of age to do such thing with in bulk amounts at a time, the girl would find out sooner or later at the Manor as to why Kaede Hoshi was also called ‘the perverted Yladian’ and also ‘the death teller’.

  5. Mahiru listened intently about Kaede's explanation of astral magic. The power to see and alter the future... I could use something like that to save so many people. She stared like a child that just entered a candy store. She was brought down to earth when Kaede commented about school. "Wait, what time is it...?" She opened her menu to check the time. "Oh no, it's almost my bedtime...! Er... Please carry me to the manor... I'll see you later..." She fumbled with the menus a bit before laying down, waving before logging off.
