Private - Clinging to Something

  1. If she had actually noticed what was going on, Cass would have been quite intrigued as to how this kind of spell actually worked. After all, in most games, illusion magic just created fake monsters and the like, but they were actual game objects. Usually, they dealt no damage or had very low hp. But this? This was directly influencing the mind of a player to screw with their perception. Most likely, one could write novals worth of discussion about whether this should even be possible. But, somehow, it was. Most likely because the game was more or less streamed to the brain in the first place.

But yes, she did not notice. All she could tell was that she gradually felt more at ease with being treated like this was actually rather fine. The questions asked were completely harmless. So, she answered them. Told her about mundane likes and dislikes, about how she was not really happy with her job lately due to the work environment, rather than the duty itself.

The image painted by this was quite the average one. A woman that was good at her job, but did not make many friends there. Someone who turned to games, rather than trying to find people to talk to in real life, not necessarily out of crippling anxiety, but rather because it was more convenient.

All the while, she gave no indication that she felt uncomfortable or anything like that. Quite to the contrary, she happily answered whatever query was given, though she was a bit vague on the details. But that was just the way she was used to talk about such things.

  2. Lucia only flashed a smile when it became clear the woman was content to answer or do anything. Lucia didn't want to push too much though, thinking about how best to take the next step she squinted a little as she thought about her next move. "Okay, now how about you tell me about the things that make you happy? What excites you?" She asked, a vague question, one that Cassandra might misunderstand. Lucia would keep petting her like an animal before finally shaking her head.

"I want to know what turns you on, what gets you off." She teased, though she didn't expect much. Someone like Cassandra who was so desperate for friends might not even have any experience let alone know what got their engines going. Lucia would insist the woman give details this time, specifics, wanting to hear every bit of faint possibility or info she might have, practically interrogating her. A sweet smile on her face all the while, that gentle expression on her face clear.

When Cassandra finished, Lucia nodded, petting her head. "Alright, then... How about telling me where you live in reality then... Then you're finished I promise~" She offered with a gentle smile, stroking her hair affectionately trying to convince her to tell her such a secret that she likely wouldn't tell anyone else. It was this that she could use to get closer to Cassandra, to maybe take the woman as something else.
