    [IMG]
    Zone 3 Shulgana's Revenant [499/1300]
    Blood Shroud [80/80]

    AC [100+]

    Skills
    <<Guardian>> The foe before you is dangerous, and any diverted effort will spell your doom. The Womb cannot be targeted as long as Shulgana’s Revenant lives.

    <<Anti Military>> Outnumbered, the Revenant may be, but outmatched, he is not. The more foes there are, the more actions Shulgana’s Revenant can perform per turn.

    <<Gargantuan Might>> An understated size belies an uncommon ferocity, the earth sundered as easily as breaking bones. Shulgana’s Revenant can perform AOE attacks and inflict Physical Debuffs.

    <<Master Duelist>> Fury alone cannot overcome your foe, for the patterns within thoughtless violence are read much more easily than controlled strikes. Only two Reckless Attacks can be performed upon the Revenant per cycle. All other Reckless attacks are negated afterwards.

    <<Critical Eye>> The difference between life and death is separated by a razor thin line, and one’s ultimate fate is but a skillful thrust or a lucky roll away. At the start of the cycle, a d12 is rolled. If the result is 12, the first attack of Shulgana’s Revenant is doubled in damage.

    <<Spell Ward>> Even magic can be slain if the caster stays in range of that wicked spear. Incantations are so easily disrupted, after all. When magic is used within one zone of the Revenant, a d4 must be rolled. On a 1, the spell fails, and the mage’s action is consumed.

    Blessings
    <<Shulgana’s Revenant>> The title granted to one that had sold their soul to an Outer God. As a medium in which this foreign divinity exercises its might, this Revenant holds both divine might and thaumaturgy. Enables one to receive blessings from the Outer God, Shulgana, as well as the evocation of Deitic Skills.

    <<Blood Feast>> The hunger lasts eternal, for the goddess’s demands are eternal, her gluttony the Revenant’s own. His heart pounds not with his own tainted blood, but with the scarlet ichor of his foes.

    <<Blood Veil>> The Revenant’s sin, the Revenant’s shield. The fallen embrace their brethren, protecting him from the vicious strikes of his enemies.

    <<Lightless>> The blessing granted to the Revenant after slaying an ingenious child. Each spearstrike leaves a trail of crystalline growth, forcing wounds open, forcing the blood to flow eternal.

    <<Berserk>> The blessing granted to the Revenant after slaying a would-be hero. Fuelled by wrath, each frenzied strike can drive even the greatest enemy back, smashing through all defenses.

    <<Ashen>> The blessing granted to the Revenant after slaying a proud swordsman. Wreathed in blue flame, each blow sets his foes ablaze, living sacrifices immolated in the name of his goddess.

    <<Blackened>> The blessing granted to the Revenant after slaying a bipolar illusionist. Dark chains emanate around him, inciting blind wrath in the hearts of all those who venture too close.

    <<Desecrated>> ???

    <<Predatory>> The blessing granted to the Revenant after slaying a feral monster. Sharp eyes find cracks in armor, adventurers turning from predator to prey under his watch. The weakest link will be purged. The lamb will be slaughtered first.
    Having set its roots deep in the forests of Brisshal, the Otherworldly Womb can aid its guardian as well, mutating the surrounding environment and turning it against the adventurers that seek to sanctify the land. At the start of every cycle, the Womb will randomly perform one of four actions.
    • ???
    • Elevate The terrain in two zones rises upwards, knocking people off in random directions and making it impossible to traverse unless one has an Awakened Mastery with a Mobility or Shapeshift tag, and you can not shoot through these zones with Ranged attacks. A normal attack dealing more than 120 is required to level the ground once again, with Geomancy or Bludgeon dealing double damage. If not destroyed, the raised earth persists.
    • Encased One target is locked in sanguine crystal. They cannot act this cycle unless they have an Awakened Mastery with the Shapeshift tag, or someone deals 85 damage to the structure. At the start of the next cycle, the Encased effect disappears.
    • ???
    The Otherworldly Womb can not be targetted until Shulgana's Revenant is vanquished.
    Combat Notes:
    Zone 15 remains <<Elevated>> due to the environmental influence of the Womb.

    Zone 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 are aflame. If you end the cycle in these zones, you will be afflicted with the <<Burning>> status.

    <<Blood Shroud>> has been re-activated. The first attack dealt upon Shulgana's Revenant will be reduced by 80 damage.

    <<Blood Feast>> has activated. Shulgana's Revenant heals for 120 HP.

    <<Berserk>> has activated.

    <<Spell Ward>> has been enhanced. Every 1 or 2 on a d4 will cancel magical actions.

    <<Critical Eye>> has been enhanced. The Revenant's damage is now doubled if a 10 is rolled on a d10.

    @Kaede Hoshi is <<Encased>>. They cannot act this cycle unless they have an Awakened Mastery with the Shapeshift tag, or someone deals 85 damage to the structure. At the start of the next cycle, the Encased effect disappears.

    @Bradwynne @Blank are <<Blackened>>. During this cycle, they cannot perform any actions other than Attacking or Recklessly Attacking Shulgana's Revenant, and cannot move out of the Zone they are currently in. This is a Magical debuff.

    @Blank receive 10 HP damage from <<Burning I>> and 10 HP damage from ending in Zone 10.

    @Seigi is <<Burning I>> for ending in Zone 9. On the next cycle, they will receive 10 HP damage. This is a Magical debuff.

    @Bradwynne is <<Burning II>> for being attacked by Shulgana's Revenant twice. On the next cycle, they will receive 20 HP damage. This is a Magical debuff.

    @Blank is <<Burning III>> for ending in Zone 10 and being afflicted by <<Ashen>> once. On the next cycle, they will receive 30 HP damage. This is a Magical debuff.

    @Blank receives 20 HP damage, and has been moved to Zone 3. @Bradwynne receives 20 HP damage.

    @Bradwynne receives 70 HP damage. Due to <<Lightless>>, this damage is dealt to his Max HP as well.

    @Bradwynne is being used as a <<Human Shield>>. 1/5th of the damage dealt to Shulgana's Revenant will be redirected onto Bradwynne instead. He cannot perform physical attacks. A d100 Health roll must meet a DC of 200 to remove this effect. Each point of HP damage Shulgana's Revenant takes will reduce the DC.

    @Kaede Hoshi is <<Marked>>.

    @Gear is dead.

    Important Note: Each Zone can only be occupied by a maximum of three players at once.

    Zone 1 Muddy and miserable, the dirt beneath is soaked with blood. It squelches beneath your feet, but is of no concern otherwise.

    Zone 2, 3, 4 The ground crackles beneath your feet, a crystalline surface providing stable footing. Beneath, one can partially see the ruptured earth, indicative of a violent altercation.

    Zone 5, 10 Signs of a brutal fight linger, jagged, broken spikes and shrapnel filling the cracked earth, still sharp enough to cut. When entering or ending a turn in this Zone, receive 10 damage.

    Zone 6 Scorched by blue flame, the corrupted vegetation here is naught but ashes now.

    Zone 11, 16 Corrupted vegetation writhes aggressively, squirming in search for a heartbeat. Though individually weak, they deter all those that try to escape. When exiting this Zone, consume two movements instead of one. When attacking from this Zone, reduce the damage dealt by 20.

    Zone 7, 8 Scorched by blue flame, naught remains of that beautiful flower field.

    Zone 12 Against all odds, a field of resilient flowers has bloomed upon the battlescarred land, petals scattering with each attack performed in this Zone.

    Zone 9, 17, 21 The remains of a massive crimson spike lies upon the ground, roughly half the height of a human. Ranged attacks targetting those within the Zone are reduced in effectiveness by half. A powerful enough attack specifically targetting the fallen spike may be powerful enough to destroy it, however, removing any cover one may have in the particular zone.

    Zone 13 Fragments of permafrost are scattered over the area, while a sanguine staircase rises out of an unfathomably deep pit. It wasn't completely successful last time, but this time around...

    Zone 14, 15, 20 Deep craters, as if caused by meteorites, scar the barren earth. Ranged attacks performed in this Zone and ranged attacks targetting this zone are reduced by 15.

    Zone 18, 22, 24 The remains of a ruined tower, scattered in three directions. Large piles of rubble partially obscure the Otherworldly Womb, and makes it difficult to approach. When entering this Zone, consume two Movements instead of one.

    Zone 19, 25 A forest of stakes, upon which half eaten beasts are skewered, their putrid blood running down the spikes. Ranged attacks targetting this zone are reduced by 10.

    Zone 23 The Otherworldy Womb, cradled by what appears to be two sickly green hands. Dark veins rise over the translucent surface, and it pulsates like a heart. A nigh impenetrable sanguine veil shrouds it, protecting it from outside influences.
    Movement Every turn, you may move to one Zone adjacent (diagonal movement is NOT allowed) to your current one for free. If you have a Mastery with the Mobility tag, you can make extra movements, depending what tier that mastery is at. At Trained, you get one extra movement. At Adept, you get two extra movements. At Mastered, you get three extra movements, for a total of four movements per turn. Ending your turn on certain Zones may trigger events.

    Range Ranged and Magical attacks can reach up to three zones away, but may have reduced damage due to terrain. Support actions can reach up to two zones away, except for Tinker which is melee range. Melee attacks can only target those within the same Zone as the attacker, but they can opt to roll a 6d20 on a normal attack rather than a d100. If you have the Tinker Mastery, you can change a Melee attack into a Ranged attack, at the cost of expending 5 EN.
    As potent as medicine and magic are, not all scars can be removed so easily. In combat, status afflictions earned are divided into three separate categories, each with their own method of treatment. These are Physical, Mental, and Magical.
    • Physical Afflictions A broken arm, a blackened eye, a punctured lung. Particularly grisly wounds have a notably negative effect upon an adventurer's aptitude, and can not be merely dispelled. Instead, healing must be applied to fill a quota that is separate from their overall HP bar. If left untended, these grevious wounds may worsen over time.
    • Mental Afflictions Fear, revulsion, horror, whether brought up by past trauma, the current situation, or one's Death Afflictions, can not be removed at all in the heat of battle. A pep talk may rouse one's spirit, but the tremors remain eternal. Once mentally afflicted, only a long rest will be able to remove such burdens.
    • Magical Afflictions The flames that engulf one's body. The metamorphisis of your flesh. Horrific as they may seem, afflictions of a magical origin are easily dispelled, and rarely have any lingering side effects afterwards.

    Actions
    Everyone is allowed to perform one of these actions per cycle. RP-wise, you can do a number of things, but the system only counts the action you pick from the spreadsheet. If you have the relevant masteries, there may also be Special Actions or Awakened Actions you can perform. Be sure to check them out~
    Strenuous Effort [Everyone] By permanently sacrificing HP (reduce both your current HP value and your maximum HP value), you can gain a bonus modifier to your roll equal to the amount of HP spent, up to a maximum of 50. This modifier can not be applied to Support actions.

    Destroy the Corpse [Everyone] Direct a normal attack towards Gear's body and completely destroy his corpse.

    Call Storm [Blank Only] Quell the flames that devour the landscape by summoning forth a powerful storm. Make a DC of 120 with a d100 Hydromancy roll, excluding buffs. If successful, all <<Burning>> effects will be nullified, and the flames in Zone 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 will be quelled. Costs 20 EN.

    Remove Blessing [Bradwynne Only] Call forth the holy light that dwells within you and scour the otherworldly blessings that empower this nightmarish creature. Make a DC of 100 with a d100 White Magic roll, excluding buffs. If successful, remove one of the Revenant's <<Blessings>> of your choice. If critically successful, remove three <<Blessings>> instead. Costs 20 EN.

    Tackle [Seigi Only] In place of a normal attack action, roll a d40 + mods instead. Tackle the Revenant and take on Bradwynne's <<Human Shield>> affliction in his place.

    Heroic Aura
    Stalwart Passive. No matter what maledictions are poured upon you, a hero will not falter. Excluding Beginner, each tier of Heroic Aura grants you a stack of Stalwart at the beginning of combat. Each stack automatically dispels a magical debuff, before being consumed.

    Rouse Free action, costing 10 EN. Establish your Heroic Aura, the radiant banner that empowers all your allies. Grant either a +10 damage buff that stacks over other buffs, a +10 HP Shield, or immunity to a single debuff for the next cycle to everyone in your party.

    Warcry Action, costing 20 EN. Can only be used once every three cycles. Unleash a devastating roar, stunning all minions on the battlefield and performing a Disruptive Attack upon all those in the same Zone as you. Use Heroic Might as the modifier. If the resulting score is high enough, enemies in the same Zone will be knocked back one space as well.

    Limit Break[Seigi Only] ???

    Shadow Dancing
    Shroud Passive. Dissolve into the shadows, becoming an elusive phantom, a shattered memory. Excluding Beginner, each tier of Shadow Dancing grants you a stack of Shroud at the beginning of combat. Each stack reduces incoming physical attacks by 20 damage, before being consumed.

    Stalk Free action, costing 10 EN. Melt away and reappear within the shadow of another, prepared for a sneaky follow up. Instead of moving regularly, appear in the same Zone as an ally. If the chosen ally attacks and you choose to attack as well, apply Shadow Dancing as Damage Supplementation.

    Lurk Action, costing 20 EN. Can only be used once every three cycles. Fully immerse yourself in the underside of reality. Remove yourself from the battlefield, effectively becoming immune to all damage for the duration of the cycle, except in the case of interplanar attacks.

    Limit Break [Magi Only] ???

    Cosmic Retribution
    Predict Passive. Perceiving the seconds between an ally's attack and an enemy's reaction, you ensure that even a miss will hit. Excluding Beginner, each tier of Cosmic Retribution grants you a stack of Predict at the beginning of combat. Each stack negates the AC of an enemy for a single attack, before being consumed.

    Divine Free action, costs 15 EN. Dive into the infinite spectrum of alternate fates in order to foresee the near-future. Once half the party has posted, you can use Astral Magic to see one Cycle into the future, before warning your allies of prescient dangers. Note, however, that the future is liquid, and will change in accordance to how you act.

    Ascend Shapeshift. Can only be done once per Challenge. Costs 20 EN and 20 HP at the start of every cycle. Leave your mortal body behind and transform into an avatar of celestial wrath. You cannot perform any actions that are not Attack, Critical Attack or Reckless Attack. You cannot be healed or protected. The dice value of your attacks are automatically set to 70, and the range of your attacks is unlimited. Furthermore, you have access to extra modifiers for your attacks.
    • Nova Burst Costs 10 EN. Target the Zone, rather than an individual.
    • Dimensional Tear Costs 10 EN. Permanently reduce Target's AC by 20.
    • Gravity Well Costs 10 EN. Halve the Target's Movement Speed for the next cycle.
    • Limit Break [Kaede Only] ???
    It takes an action to revert the transformation and return to your mortal body. If you do not have enough HP or EN to pay for the cost of the Shapeshift at the start of the cycle, your soul separates from your body and you die.

    "Watch ou-"

    Were the last words Seigi had spoken before her body got trapped in crystals. Stopped mid-motion. Separated from the world. Yet, the Hero could still see. She could still watch. Bear witness to the unfolding despair.

    Move! Move!Move! Move! Move! Move! Move! Move! Move! Move! Seigi cried mentally out. But her body wouldn't move. She was powerless against the might of the otherworldly deity.

    The orange-hair simply continued watching. Watching, as the field in front of her was dive-bombed into a burning inferno. Watching as Gear, whom she had never known, made a last-ditch effort before completely burning out. Watching Megan, getting thrown around like some ragdoll. Watching the Revenant's mobility, as he closed the distance before Megan even hit Brad's body. Watched, as Brad was taken as a living hostage.

    Seigi watched in horror, as the Crystal Prison that kept her from stopping any of this finally crumbled. Through her own Guts and Effort? No. Maybe. Either way, here she was. Free once again.

    As dire as the situation seemed, however, the Goblin himself had taken serious damage. And while the orange-hair never expected it to be easy, she hadn't expected the vile Goddess's Champion to give them so much trouble. It was fast and lethal. Nearly over. They just had to—

    Huehuehue...

    "... Urgh?!" Suddenly, Seigi's head started to hurt as a myriad of emotions assaulted her. Emotions that had nothing to do right here, right now - at least not for her. Regret, Anger, a feeling of compassion but somehow very wrong... pure Malice?

    Whatever it was, Seigi got goosebumps as a weird feeling of foreknowledge creeped inside her mind. Something was gonna happen. Something big. Something vile. Something evil. The girl felt drawn towards it. Towards those feeling.

    She wanted to see the Goblin die.
    She wanted to see him suffer.
    She wanted to hear him cry.
    She wanted to feel his agony.
    She wanted to feel his grief.
    Sweet, delicious, pain. What sweet sound would his bone make if you broke them one by one? What sweet sounds would his voice make if you slowly chipped off his skin? Bit, by bit?

    She wanted, she wanted... "No!" The girl channeled her heroic aura full force. "WE NEARLY HAVE HIM! DON'T FALTER." Seigi cried out as she could hear her own voice breaking. She was a Hero of Justice, not some edgy dark-emo-girl!

    Regardless, if there was one thing Seigi could be certain about it was that whatever was happening, all these malicious feelings were aimed towards the title-stripped Revenant. Brad or no Brad, it did not matter.

    It did not matter for this Darkness, but it mattered for Seigi. She was, first and foremost, here to save lives. "ROOOAAAAARRRRR!" Seigi cried out as she dashed forward. She would rescue Brad, absolutely. "Take this!" Seigi pushed her own body with all her might towards the Goblin, with the force of a charging Mammoth, the Hero Girl grazed Brad as forced the Goblin to stumble back a few feet just to... "Nani?!" Grab her instead!

    Was this how it would end? Once again? Trading her life to save another? Back at Titanius, back when she helped some others escape this monster and... now again? Was that Heroism?

    No.

    A true hero would save others, and herself. A true hero wouldn't exchange one life for another. "A true Hero..." Seigi whispered. "... WON'T BE UNDONE BY THE LIKES OF YOU!" The girl's soul was on fire as she put her everything into freeing herself from the small, but firm, green grip of the monster. "SCREEEEWWW YOOOUUU!" Crack. Ah, his bones played such wonderful tunes.

    As the Champion had no other choice but to weaken his grip on the feisty girl, who he easily lifted into the air, Seigi contracted her legs before pushing them with all might towards the goblin - like some sort of spring. With her otherworldly strength and burning soul, the girl managed to break free, too.

    Just mere moments before...

    _____Kaede was honestly going to yell at each and every kid she was stuck looking after this was done with. Time after time they got themselves in trouble and it was honestly starting to piss Kaede off. Right when she was about to give them a lecture she found herself encased and all hell broke loose inside her mind. While trapped for all of a few seconds the council of Kaede’s held an emergency meeting in her head. And it was Chaotic to say the least.

    ”I saw we get the fuck out of dodge, screw the kids they got a death wish we don’t!”

    ”We can’t just leave them, we need to help fight this foe here or we will just have to fight it once it gets stronger later.”

    ”KILL IT!”

    ”Why did we even come here? We aren't the hero type we all know that so WHY?”

    ”For the chance to find boobs!”

    ”ENOUGH ALL OF YOU!”

    _____The words from Kaede’s mouth resounded to reality, her imprisonment shattering away as her form raged into cosmic ascendancy. She was pissed, and as a result entered her form without thinking clearly, but to hell would she waste it. Hands arcing cosmic energy between them before the energy vanished along with Kaede. A moment passing before she reaped some ways further from the boss.

    ”I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS SHIT. YOU CHILDREN NEED TO LEARN A THING OR TWO ABOUT BATTLE BEFORE YOU TRY DOING THIS SORT OF THING! AND YOU GOBLIN, HAVE OFFICIALLY RUINED MY FUCKING HAIR!!!”

    _____Kaede’s form released a second explosion of cosmic energy as she held her hand upward. Several orbs of purple, pink, and black arcing in the sky before cascading down on the boss as Kaede’s temper was left without check. Her form drifting quickly around the area as she continued to unless her mortar of cosmic energy without thought of retaliation. Her mind still enraged about her hair being ruined.

    img The grief poured in like a flow of blood in the dark reality of Barriere Des Kummers. The young girl that floated within and held out her arms in the embracing of it's writhing essence was waiting. Waiting for her magic to be tested by such a being.

    "Please, give me the grief you bear."

    Magia muttered as she reached out and thin veins of black slowly converged into her.

    She would use it for good.. ultimate unyielding good.

    No fear.

    The thing that held back Wendy for so long. Her fear of failure, her fear of the unknown, her fear for those she couldn't save or protect, her fear for her own meaningless future.

    No fear anymore.

    "..."

    Gee fucking whiz.

    Her eyes opened and met the throbbing blackness around her in a look of irritation.

    The energy she gathered in this barrier, the place that took sadness and misery, only to make it into energy. All converted through her own very unique mana manipulations. Her mana was like a leech's. Drawing in the pain lingering from Gear and Megan, the annoyed frustration of Kaede ripping her book, the fear of Brad as he was gripped by the green destroyer...

    And Raina.

    Was Raina absorbing some of the grief as well? As the shell of darkness came down and her barrier dissipated. Wendel lightly tapped the ground with her shoes, gently landing. A look of severe disappointment on her face mixed with the frustration of her enemy ignoring her.

    "Wowzers, disgusting things like you remind me I'm nothing like you. You continue to just swing that over sized twig of yours? Are you afraid I'll snap it? Wussy."

    Her voice held no laughter, madness driven or otherwise. Her bow regenerated. It was more like a weapon made of mana than a normal bow anymore. It was fueled by the power she gathered from this pointless battle.She aimed her weapon. Black tendrils of energy shot one after the other from small rifts that opened behind her. Each tendril of mana making her shot larger and darker.

    "Coward...evil...enemy. *twitch*..causing....problems...."

    Her red eye glowed as the blood stopped flowing and soaked directly into her skin. Her frown deepened as the arrow she readied was now much long and wider than herself. These flowers... were so nice and a sign of peace in the this messed up world.

    If she could give this thing that, then she would, if she couldn't then he wasn't meant to be anyway.

    "Rest in peace. You will not make it into my ending."

    She released and the largest Grudeg Arrow she ever fired tore through the air and the earth to bring him a proper end.

    As he was watching what would happen to the revenant now that that blessing of the gods it seemed to have worshipped was removed, he fully expected that it would be weakened now that the power of his gods was divested from him. But as it turned out, he was wrong. Really wrong. It seemed to have attracted the revenant to whoever removed the blessing from him: Bradwynne himself.

    The revenant then threw the body of Blank towards him. Although he wanted for her to experience pain, her demise would make things more difficult for them. And so he caught Blank's body with his own, his boots skidding on the ground from the impact. He then quickly but gently placed her on the ground, but then, as he looked at his front, he was surprised when he saw the revenant charging towards him, and it was too late to shield himself. The claws ripped through his shirt like those were just ripping paper, and the claw marks penetrated deep into his body, puncturing his lungs. Blood flowed endlessly from the gash that was then crystallized, sealing that wound quickly. But that did not stop there as the creature then grabbed his body in front of it. "You bastard, let me go!" he screamed angrily, elbowing the body of the creature while flailing his feet to wriggle out of the grasp. But the creature did not budge, not until Seigi rammed herself towards the creature, and then broke free of the creature's grasp herself. He would thank Seigi later, but not until he killed this creature in front of him. Drawing the crystal longsword, he then shouted, "Hey you bastard!" Suddenly a ferocious barrage of arrows spiked with powerful magic was fired towards the creature, piercing it a lot of times, making the creature look at that direction. That action made Bradwynne more angry as he shouted sonorously, "AND DON'T YOU DARE LOOK AWAY FROM ME YOU MURDEROUS SON OF A BITCH!" With a hard kick of the black boots on the ground, he then charged towards the creature, inflicting heavy strike upon heavy strike of the crystal longsword as his screams intermingle with the sounds of his sword cutting through the creature. "DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE!..." each scream corresponding to each slash he would inflict.

    His body failing. His blood flowing. His bones breaking. His strength declining. His blessings dissipating. His breath fading. His mind numbing. His rage fading. His life ending.

    But his desire remained, a candle that lit the way amidst the nightmare conflict. He was naught but a Revenant, naught but a ghost of the past, his life’s goal long fulfilled. He had sated what meager vengeance he sought, had made peace with loss and death, had rested well, knowing that the price of his life alone was enough to ensure the safety of his progeny.

    His Goddess had granted him everything, where no other deities would, and he will make sure that her last order was fulfilled.

    “wItneSS ME!’

    The Sunset Sage wrenched the Guillotine Priest away from his grasp, as the Ascended Astrologian burst out of the crystalline shell, an avatar of cosmic retribution that burned with the light of a thousand stars. Reeling back from the kick, the skull faced goblin snarled, blood converging upon him as steller devastation rained down. Purple, pink, black. Amidst the meteor shower, he exchanged furious blow after furious blow with the swordsman, each vicious swing parried with brute force, the blood flowing, quickening, roaring in his mind. Beneath, the ground cracked, splintered under the continuous cosmic assault, vast echoes of destruction booming all around, punctuated by the infuriated man’s murderous mantra.

    Something that he had heard many times before. A curse of destruction that had no effect on one who’s ending already came.

    The earth ruptured, three demon-skewers rising, piercing into the flesh of those that still lived. One dug deep into the swordsman’s gut, severing his spine as it lifted him up skywards like some demented trophy. Another pierced through the cosmic spirit’s intangible form, splitting it into two even halves, ending its starfall frenzy. And yet a third pierced through the thigh and arm of the heroic martial artist, the point stopping one inch from her face as she rose up towards the darkening sky.

    "Rest in peace. You will not make it into my ending."

    No.

    He never existed as just a part of someone else’s story.

    An arrow wreathed in shadow and madness crossed the burning battlescape in a flash, a true meteor of impossible might, slamming into the goblin at full force.

    But it did not go any further. Arcane jets ceaselessly propelled the devastating projectile, and yet, it did not move. Could not move. Even as the flesh of his hands melted off, even as his tendons tore and his bones turned to dust, the monster remained, sanguine might surging around him. How much more did he have to sacrifice? How much further did he have to go? How much, how much, how much?!

    One step.

    His foot sank into the bloodied ground.

    One step.

    His foot trampled upon smouldering flowers.

    ONE STEP.

    The petals scattered, a violet blizzard as the dissonant spell continued to churn, brought all the way back to the one that had fired it. A corona, a blossom, was presented before Magi, pressing closer and closer as the cracks began to show in the spellweave, as even the greatest miracle was slowly being torn into shr-

    “That’s enough.”

    A crack emerged in the mask.

    “You’ve done well to fulfill my request.”

    And the Grudeg arrow roared, leaving naught but ashes of the Revenant.

    A chime, an unholy bell, resounded.

    Scarlet hair danced in the burning wind.

    Onyx armor glistened in day’s last light.

    A skeletal crown sat upon her head.

    Heretic tattoos scarred her pale flesh.

    Her right eye opened. The eye of the wise.

    Her left eye opened. The eye of the savage.

    And as she stood upon the throne of ruination, the ashes of her champion blown away towards a kinder place, the Mother of Monsters, the Traitorous King, the Shatterer of Chains, the Star Eater, smiled.

    Zone 12 Shulgana's Revenant [Vanquished]
    Zone 18 The Mother of Monsters, Shulgana [1/1]

    • Impale Crystaline blades rise up from the ground, skewering three targets and dealing HP damage.

    @Seigi receives 10 HP damage from <<Burning I>>.

    @Bradwynne receives 20 HP damage from <<Burning II>>.

    @Blank receives 30 HP damage from <<Burning III>>.

    @Kaede Hoshi receives 20 HP damage and 20 EN damage due to <<Ascend>>

    @Seigi @Bradwynne receive 40 HP damage due to <<Impale>>.

    @Kaede Hoshi receives 70 (35x2) HP damage due to <<Impale>>.

    @Blank @Bradwynne are dead.

    Zone 23 The Otherworldy Womb lies here, shattered.

    Cower [Everyone] Do nothing.

    Blank stared blankly upwards seeing nothing. Her pain sensors had been working non-stop, alternatively kicking her rose's attempt to smother her emotions into high gear. She was somewhat accustomed to the sensation, but never to this extent. It was surreal, nothing made sense. Despite the rose's attempts she could still feel the heat from the fire swelling around her threatening to consume her. She waited awhile for the healing magic from before to come once again. The healing never came. In the corner of her eye, she saw her UI blinking red, in near-fatal numbers. Without a way to cleanse herself, she knew she was finished.

    Stupid goblin.

    He wouldn't die when he was supposed too.

    If her freezing spell had worked earlier she wouldn't have even needed to put this much effort into this fight. Stupid, stupid goblin.

    With the last of her, strength Blank pointed an empty palm at the shadow in front of her.

    She couldn't tell if it was the goblin, the smoke was too heavy, the void held her to tight.

    It was the goblin's fault.

    She uttered a few words, they couldn't be heard, her mouth could barely move. It didn't matter though, their intent was all that ever mattered. She wished she had known that earlier when her jaw was broken. From her outstretched hand, a small magical circle appeared. A simple spell fired forward, a lance of ice much like before. Simple was all the could mentally manage at the moment after all.

    The world was growing hazy, her eyes turning dim. She fired the lance forward. It missed the shadow. It crashed into the large egg behind it. She was too tired to care.

    "So this is what dying is like?" she thought as her eyes shut on their own accord.

    _____Kaede was in no state to move but she did her best. Frame falling to the ground as her cosmic form gave out and she coughed up blood. But by no means did she stop moving as she stood shaken and stepped forward one by one. Her frame beat and broken as she tried to move forward, straining ever muscle that would listen to her as she clime the remains of the tower. Her body rising over the last piece of rubble and she began to walk closer. Legs trembling as she fell to her knee but kept moving forward.

    _____Despite the odds she tried and found herself as close to the woman as she could make it, a few feet from her as Kaede shaken rose back to her feet, slowly spreading her arms to block the woman from any frontal attacks. Kaede's eyes barely stayed open, her mind doing the only thought that came to mind 'protect the woman'. Enemy or not, Kaede would not so easily allow someone to attack the girl if she could prevent it. So with shaken feet Kaede spoke up as best she could.

    "No... more... violence... Settle... with... words."

    _____Kaede would not move from her spot unless someone tried to rush towards the woman to attack, or an attack came for the woman. Only in those cases would Kaede make an attempt to block the attacks to protect not just the woman but what was left of her mind. She could not allow more fighting, she would not allow herself to resee the death of Snefrid or the events that led to it remotely so she stood, willing to have her back to someone she did not even know in hopes to stop her team from harming the woman.

    img Destruction, all this meaningless horrible destruction.

    This was not the ideal Wendel existed for. It was what she had to end. Megan, Brad, even that Gear guy. The battle against that giant monster that killed Raina, and brought even Cain Darlite, a man that took everything like a game for his amusement, was driven into despair.

    All these poor unfortunate souls. This attack was fueled on the grief of the fallen here. It was channeled through her and would mercilessly slay the cause of their woes. Wendel, Das Ein Magia did not need love and justice sprinkled with pretty flowers and unicorns. All she needed was swift removal of what caused these problems. Who cared for details? Just remove them. This Goblin was just that.

    Done.

    He pushed his way with so much determination. He wanted to live, he wanted to fight, he wanted to kill.

    Why? Why was he so stubborn? Wasn't death better if you were suffering this much? A end was so much better for him and he was going to drink this bitter medicine no matter what!

    No words.

    Magia had no words but a cold stare just as uncaring and unsympathetic as the would be destroyer. His spear came so close. So close to...

    *You. Are a interesting result. The other girl too. To think Nanami...*

    The voice was faint. It was as if time itself halted as the voice that was muffled by some form of distortion continued to speak right into her soul. It wasn't even words but feelings that formed what resembled words...

    *She was such a fool. Then and now. Still resisting the truth. Resisting the incompetence of gods. Incompetence of man. You, the last hope for her. This is so much better for you. You remind me of her so I can see why you were drawn here. To think those seeds transmitted my essence after all. Your's was very helpful to me.*

    The Revenant crumbled to ash as a voice carried across the battlefield of carnage. Yet, Wendel heard it not. Rather this voice entrapped her. Her mind and soul unable to even move under it's invasion. It wanted her attention it needed this moment. This moment where she was most noticeable and so close the holder of Nanami's essence.

    *That woman there, she is just another one. You want to save the world from grief? You want to bend grief to your will and protect the one you love more than anyone? So few retain that even after they evolve. You are worth my attention. Defeating a 'hero' of a god was so little but telling. I will watch you again in the future I would think. Until then...*

    Wendel's eyes blinked as a small amount of blood ran down her cheek once again. A wide path of ruined earth went on for a great distance and nothing of her enemy remained. She had done it.

    Why did that feel like it took way longer than it did? Not to mention there was now some red lady with tattoos and Kaede standing in front of her barely able to stand.

    No... gee whiz, was this real? Disgusting.

    Wendel looked to Seigi, her best friend was the only one to survive. Raina, survived everything... always. That was extremely pleasing to the dark pinkette. Now for this new problem. Turning her head towards Kaede and the woman she protected. Wendel didn't need to think much about it. This woman was the cause of this.

    Yet here was one of her 'party members and allies' protecting her. Betraying the companionship they had. It reminded Magia of the times Wendy would jump between people in a war. Peacemakers... doing it Kaede's way was hopeless.

    "Seriously? You think that peace can be made with someone who let that thing murder everyone? You think that this was okay? *Snicker* and I thought I was considered crazy."

    She raised her bow before her and more dark energy gathered. Mercy could not be brought without no mercy. Once again that was obvious as day.

    "Raina-chan you know what we must do. We must win. This person isn't a big deal. I'll carry your grief and your burden oneesan. I know you are above this. Hehehe... I'm not."

    Her smile twitched as a murderous look appeared. Almost as if she would love to let it just be her and her favorite person that walked away from here alive. As if no one else in this or any other world mattered. Because... at this moment they didn't. Wendel's mind and body were almost on autopilot from the grief and heat of insanity driven battle.

    She only did not fire for two reasons.

    First...

    Raina-chan was someone she wanted to impress, to win over and have accept her as the better new and complete Wendy. If she did, it would be so much easier to get her to forget she was Wendy at all. Then she would be best friends with Wendel! ALL HERS!

    And second...

    Her eyes stayed aimed like a hawk on the both but Wendel's voice was aimed at Shulgana.

    "A villain likes to introduce themselves right? So do it already! And you..."

    Her words were venomous. She had no mercy for a person who betrays her trust.

    "The best way to create peace. Is getting rid of the cause of the problem. *Snicker*, wowzers dummy, I do wonder who that is? Us... or her?"

    Wendel cocked her head cutely as she thought of a amusing thing.

    "Or maybe all of us? *Giggle* People fight because they can. Why it's best to just get to shooting you now. ...Right Raina-chan?"

    One word... just one word and Das Ein Magia would ruthlessly go right through this Astralmancer without blinking a eye.

    This girl may have had the chance to be the pure hearted heroine at one time. The cruelty of fate kept that from happening, leaving her a killer with a distorted sense of justice.

    Now it was up to Seigi Ling Ling, to do what was right... or accept the dark truths of the reality she lived in now.

    Aiming to kill the moment the word is given.

    Everything went to shit.

    How many times has it been today? This entire Ordeal had been a roller coaster from beginning to end. Megan put up a last-ditch effort. Brad gave it his all. Kaede went hyper-mode and Wendy shot the most powerful arrow that Seigi had ever witnessed from her. Everybody gave it their all and yet, the Godless Champion was still standing, moving. His bones cracked. His flesh sundered. He kept moving. Moving. Moving. Moving.

    Like a mindless killing machine until, finally, their combined efforts literally reduced him to dust. Such a monstrosity.

    The moment the Goblin had fallen was supposed to be a moment of joy. A moment of celebration. A moment of success. But, instead, it was a moment where...

    ...everything went to shit.

    With the Advent of the Goddess, Seigi could simply only watch as Brad became skewered, kinda split in half. Later, she would feel ashamed that her very first thought about such a sight was 'disgusting'.

    Even if she had the reaction time to help, she couldn't, as a demonic spike pierced the girl, too. Yet, Seigi survived. Was it Fool's Luck? That she somehow survived. In such a pitiful state? By now she had been beaten and pierced and flicked back together so often that the pain was just secondary. Instead, her eyes wandered somewhere else.

    The newcomer.

    It wasn't a stretch to assume that this woman was the enemy. She had come out behind the ruins that covered their actual target. A 'Womb', they called it. Something that would give birth to the Devil itself.

    It wasn't a stretch, yet, Seigi couldn't be too sure either. Many people had died to come so far. The soldiers around them? The orange-hair couldn't spend the time looking around. Her head was throbbing, making most other sounds muffled.

    As Kaede, like the madwoman she was, put herself between the red-haired goddess and the only two survivors Seigi thought: Well, she isn't wrong about this. BUT what if this was a mistake?

    Seigi had to know.

    Since Nanami, Titania, the Sunset Sage was past the point to judge a Devil in Disguise based on their appearance. Yes, the red-hair was humanoid looking, but so had been Titania. She wouldn't take any second chances.

    "Kuh... damn it... KAEDE!" Seigi yelled out as she moved her pierced body. Move, goddamnit! Move. Move. Move. Move. The Hero girl landed on the ground like a sack of stones as her leg and arm got shredded even more. But it did not matter.

    Move. Move. Move.

    She got up. One step. A second one. Faster. Quicker. Her Soul was still on fire. Seigi had to be certain. The girl dashed over the battle-field once more, her muscles listening to sole conviction. It was then that something else came to her mind. Silence. The whispering voices of a forbidden deity, promising her unlimited power, had gone silent. Why? A question Seigi had no time to answer right now, as time was of the essence. As, when she finally arrived close to Kaede and Shulgana, she saw it.

    "Damn it! OUT OF THE WAY!" The Womb had given birth. The thing behind her was their enemy. Just why would Kaede do this, when they were so close? Funnily enough, Seigi had watched enough fiction to believe they, just maybe, had mere minutes, or seconds, before the 'Newborn Baby' would rise in power.

    Time. Was. Of. Essence.

    And here, the black-haired woman was. Buying time. What the hell was Seigi supposed to do?

    Kill her.

    No, Kaede was maybe mislead in her believes, but killing her was wrong.

    Kill her.

    No. Never!

    Have Wendy ki-

    DEFINITELY NOT THAT.

    Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

    A fraction of a second already passed.

    Guts and Effort.

    "SCREW OFF!" Seigi yelled at Kaede as she grabbed the older woman, ripping her away from Shulgana. "WENDY! SHOT THE MONSTER, NOW!"

    For the newborn infant was surely just a Wolf in Sheep clothing.

    The End

    She breathed in the polluted air.

    She breathed in the rust and the blood.

    She breathed in the smoke and the rot.

    She breathed it all in, absorbing all she could of this world in a single breath.

    Oh, how she had longed for this.

    Yerka truly did deserve to be immortalized upon her Throne, but as he had respected her wish, so she would respect his, letting the last of his ashes fall away between her fingers.

    Around her, those immortals squabbled, turning on each other now that they no longer had a ‘true’ monster to fight. One asked for peace. Another sought to renew the carnage. And a third could not bear to let another Wolf exist in this broken, imperfect world.

    In a flash of movement, surpassing the natural divining capabilities of the Astral Mage, Seigi wrenched Kaede away from the Goddess, the two of them tumbling down the pile of rubble, ending up in an unsightly heap of stone. The scarlet haired woman sneered. Didn’t they have a power akin to the Eyes of Torzi, capable of determining with crystal clarity how mighty the foe before them was? Were these immortals so cowardly? A lustful soul, a righteous soul, a distorted soul. But none of them held the single-minded, world-ending infatuation that she sought.

    In the emerald eye, she did not see the fathomless might to uphold their principles and ideals.

    In the ruby eye, she did not see the endless capacity for savagery if it would bring them closer to their desires.

    Amorphous and weak-willed, swayed too easily by trauma and regrets. Incomplete existences, formulated by exterior influences rather than the core of their essence. But the potential was still there. So many voices. Whispers from the ghosts of the past. An abominable hunger that was not their own. The hand of a certain cosmic being. All pulling them elsewhere, elsewhere, elsewhere.

    How boring.

    They hadn’t even taken their first step yet.

    She breathed in, her odd eyes ending up at dissonant bolt forming in the bow of that fractured infant.

    And, that defiant smirk still on her face, she spread her hands out, exposing her neck, her heart, her head, her lungs.

    A flash of arcane light, and it was over.

    Crimson seeped upon rubble as the Mother of Monsters fell, the light of her eyes never fading as her gaze ended skywards.

    After an eternity within that world transfixed in apocalypse, having a heart that could stop beating was truly the most exquisite of gifts.

    Oh, what a beautiful world.

    She couldn’t wait to eat it.

    Around the three that still breathed, the outer world manifested once more, as cries of victory resounded brightly, the first stars of the night shining over the azure gradient.

    ~~~
    With a mighty blow, he bisected the blackened fiend, empowered by afflicted rage.
    The battle raged on.
    Half-swording, his pommel smashed through the crystalline armor, breaking the lightless sylph.
    The battle raged on.
    Tossing the spear of a fallen comrade, he tore out the heart of the ashen swordsman amidst hellfire.
    The battle raged on.
    Wielding the sword from the age of giants, he clashed with the berserker over and over again, the fragments of the massive sword sparking off as men danced with beasts all around, blood feeding budding flowers.
    The battle raged…
    Ancestral might surged through his veins as he rammed the oversized cleaver through the frothing beast’s chest, finally putting an end to its enraged warcries. Panting, he wheeled around, one arm hanging crippled, in search for the next great foe.
    But the cacophony that once encompassed the entire place had silenced, the scarlet fury of the horde dissipating in an instant. Like puppets with strings cut, the entire, abominable army collapsed, reverting to recognizable forms. Humans and beasts, not a ‘real’ monster around them, their life essence seeping away from open wounds.
    A crack sounded, then another, those ominous spires crashing down. A few cries of alarm sounded from his men, but more than that, there was a sense of elation, of relief.
    They may have lost their brothers, but they have won the fight.
    Tonight, their children, their lovers, their parents will be able to rest peacefully, under the assurance that the nightmare that afflicted the forests of Brisshal had been vanquished completely. Their sacrifices were worth it then. Their losses bearable. Their valor rewarded.
    Up above, the warmth of the afternoon sky, burning with a beautiful red, filled the man’s heart with a special feeling.
    As the twenty-seven who remained began the task of retrieving bodies and treating wounds, Captain Arc strode towards the epicenter of the hellscape, caked in blood and gore. Each step hurt, but all his deeds must pale in comparison to the bravery demonstrated by those adventurers. If these small pains were what it took, then he would gladly bear them in order to be the first to offer these valiants a helping hand.
    But as he crested the hill, only somber devastation stood before his scarlet eye.
    A body, charred beyond recognition. A body, skewered fully through. A body, lacerated and beaten.
    It gave the young man, a mere mortal, pause.
    But if not now, when?
    So he flashed a smile towards the heroes of the day, waving with his one good arm.
    Good work, heroes! I can’t offer my condolences, nor am I able to patch up your wounds, but, at the very least, I’m able to lend you a shoulder.
    They lived. This was plenty.
    Let’s head back home.
    They won. This was more than he had expected.
    But the young captain did not know, did not understand. In the face of adversity, the bonds adventurers made weren't strengthened. They were fractured.
  5. _____Kaede was furious to say the least. Frame nearly throwing Seigi off her as she glared at the ‘hero of justice’. They had no right to decide if that girl was to die there or not, NONE! Her hands sparking with cosmic energy as she glared at the two children before her. She wanted to drop them both in a black hole for what they had done. Not just kill someone who could have turned out to help them later, but did so without even trying to talk. Hand lifting to point at Seigi as cosmic energy formed a small orb ready to fire.
    ”You had no right, NONE! Your a child so let me explain this to you! Even if born from darkness even they can become good if you trust and support them! The sins of the parents do not move to the child!”
    _____Kaede’s eyes began to fill with tears as she moved her other arm to point at Magi, the same sparking of energy as Kaede held on attacking them. Even if she wanted to kill them it was against her ways. Sure they killed someone Kaede thought could be saved, sure they saved her before doing it, but she was not someone who killed children unless truly needed. Sparks dying down as Kaede moved her Grimoire to rip pages and heal her wounds as she marched to the corpse of Shulgana.
    _____If either of them or the knight tried to stop Kaede she would attack them without hesitation. She refused to leave the girl’s corpse to them. Slowly and gently she would pick the girl up and wave her fingers to shift the gravity around the spear of the champion over. They had no right to claim the weapon that belong to the girl’s father for every sense. She would not speak with the knight but clearly did not agree with the others who still lived as she walked away. They would pay for this one day, that was a promise Kaede would do everything to make sure showed in her book.
    Side note, At no point did Kaede say her name to Seigi or have met the girl. How she knew her name i will never know since both have locked UIs.
  6. img A annoyed look was all Kaede would get from Magia. Wendel, dismissed her bow and felt her charge of grief dying down. It was over. The grief that remained was now from this dummy here holding the enemy like she could do something. Still Wendel had gotten so much today. Her blackened heart was actually beating really fast.
    "If this world was a fairy tale. No one would have to die. It's not. A happy ending isn't something you wish for. You make it. No. Matter. What."
    Magia ignored the energy aimed at her. This astralmancer was so weakened and barely sane as it was. She had the urge to end her misery, but the grief she gave off was worth not ending her as well. It did look like she was leaving anyway.
    "Gee whiz, I wonder if Wen... uh... if I was like that before. Probably. Crying over every needed death. Raina-chan? Hehehehe..."
    Wendel's cold look turned to one of slight warmth upon glancing at Raina. It was so wonderful to see that she was alright. Wendel protected her and she fulfilled living. That was why she was her best friend.
    Ignoring Blank's, Brad's and other's corpses. Wendel made her way over to Seigi. The strange smile not leaving her face. Once she was right up to her. A black gloved finger poked her right in chest several times as Wendel giggled eerily.
    "*Giggle* You told me to kill someone Raina-chan . Could you be... getting better at this stuff? You did really great! We are unstoppable! I have sooooo much energy right now! Mega super cool beans! Hehehehehe! Now if I could just get you to call me Wendel ❤! Hehehehe!"
    Leaping onto her with her arms wrapped around tightly. Magia giggled maniacally and swung her legs backwards at the knee, as that were ever so slightly off the ground from the difference in heights.
    "We did it, we did it we did it! Hehehehehe! No one else lived! Hehehehe we saved everyone! See how wonderful a ending like this is?! Wowzers everyone's stopped grieving! Everyone's doing so much better! I have alllll of it !"
    The blood coming from her face and twisted joy over this outcome continued to smother Seigi for a while. Until she finally either was pushed off or pulled back by her own accord Not bothering to wipe her face in euphoria of the moment. The bloody pinkette continued to gaze into the eyes of Raina's avatar.. no this was Raina's form now. Wendel looked for approval, for acceptance of this way. Acceptance of her.
    "If we keep doing this. It'll all be okay. You see how we are the only ones here now..? Isn't that wonderful Raina-channy chan chan of chans.*squeal* ?!"
    At this moment Wendel was just as much a happy girl as Wendy was when cosplaying with a skittles smoothie. As for whether this warranted that.. was better not to think about, but she was high on grief and the battle was over with her bestie so this was a very good day for Wendel, Das Ein Magia!
  7. Magi's Arrow pierced the Goddess and, just like that, she fell. "...?" Seigi stood baffled for a moment. Did they... did they actually do it?! It... it was over! Really. Seigi had thought that -at the very least- the red-haired Archfiend would have done something. A second form. Easily blocking Wendel's attack. Some grand explosion. Anything.
    Alas, maybe, Seigi had been right. They killed her mere seconds before she would have been able to unleash her full power. Maybe she was right. Maybe she was not. But the past was the past. One could learn from it, but there was no point in regretting.
    Yes, after Nanami, Seigi had truly grown.
    It was @Kaede Hoshi who spoke up first. Was she angered? Or... sad? It funny, really. The words the woman had spoken weren't unlike what Seigi believed in just weeks ago. But she had grown up. And she certainly did not fear the Space Mage's magic.
    "I had EVERY right." Kaede Hoshi wouldn't just get to say her part and then leave. "Just recently, I had fought another evil being - I'm sure you've heard of Titanius. Inside HER core, I was hoping we could come to some UNDERSTANDING. It was MY HESITATION that killed people. Do you see the corpses of Blank and the other two?! You should THANK me that I most likely saved your life!" Only then Seigi realized what Kaede actually meant with 'sins of the parents' and Seigi's eyes widened. No, she actually facepalmed. And then, she left?
    Either way, with that done, Seigi gave the nameless 'Captain' a nod. "Thanks, but we're... fine." As she hugged @Das Ein Magia in return. Yeah, she 'ordered' Wendy to kill someone. In another reality, she could have ordered her to kill Kaede - who was, unlike the newborn 'baby', actually a good person.
    As Wendel let go off Seigi, the hero girl nodded. "Yes, we did it!" She smiled in return. "But... we have to get stronger!" Seigi added. "Strong enough that nobody has to die, ever!"
    Do you really care? Or are you just pretending? It was fun, isn't that what matters the most to YOU? You-
    "Urgh..." And there was this damn headache again! "I'm actually... quite beat! Care to lend me a shoulder?" Seigi asked, yet, right now, was also a very crucial moment. How was Seigi supposed to know when Wendy would have to go? "Yes... I was content with killing the red-haired woman. That doesn't mean I'm happy about it. I had been always fine with killing a wolf or a bear or something monstrous looking, you know? But a 'human'? No way. So you see, I have been... kinda discriminating against others, based on their looks. Thinking anything that resembles human can be reasoned with. But I realized I have been wrong. I'm content with the choice I made. This...thing... well, now it's dead. But who knows what would have happened if we just waited a few seconds? Maybe if I had been more powerful enough, but I wasn't. You did awesome, by the way!" Seigi made clear that Wendel would hopefully understand before continuing.
    "What we achieved was a victory, but a Happy End would end up with all of us, ALL OF US, enjoying a Skittle Smoothie together! This is... the kind of Ending I want. And for that, I still have to get stronger. Also, your eye... are you doing okay?" Last time everything happened so fast. Now, everything had been fast again. But now-now, Seigi could finally ask her about that!
    Either way, together they would wander off~?
    OOC: @Kaede Hoshi I appreciate your naming concerns as I detest metagaming but Seigi actually picked up Kaede's name from Aria in Orange Rescue.
