    Two pink eyes glared at the window and the woman beyond it. For all the possible reactions to such a bizarre setting. The girl here smiled at Comet and quietly went over to her bed and sat down on it. Well it wasn't actually her bed. It was a nice reality though. Vampires role playing and all. The abilities had not shaken the girl as she just took in the objects and furniture in the room with interest and... longing?

    I know you're supposed to be a vampire but come in. ...We've met before haven't we? Valor's Point?

    She patted the bed and straightened the bow on her gown. placing her hands in her lap she quietly waited.

    ...

    Enea picked up a small book and scanned the cover rubbing over the letters with her hand. 'The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn'.

    Good choice Yasha.

  2. He knew he was originally going to be burglarizing this house but eventually things had gotten a little bit more... desperate. Seriously, there was a lot of running water outside and Haru was pretty sure he was going to die soon if he didn't find a way into this place. Physically, at least. The written invitation to the house from it's owner (who was away) still lie in his pocket snugly.

    Haru was skirting outside of the second floor, picking a lock. He didn't have any actual tools to use- he was poor. Why else would he turn to crime? Anyway, he had ripped out his soul and was applying it to the problem just like he always does. At some point in time he used to think that this kind of problem solving was stupid, but at some point the results were just too good to ignore.

    As the window opens, lightning flashes and illuminates his manic face, grinning from ear to ear at the prospect of not dying! Lovely! It also illuminated the rather familiar woman in the bed at the other side of the room. "-Oh. Fancy meeting you here, miss. You had a mansion this whole time, and never thought to tell me?"

  3. Seeing his warning be completely ignore Brant let out a small sigh. Perhaps he was overreacting but it was better safe than sorry. He casually got himself on a comfortable position on the bed before staring at him intently for a few moments. All in all this guy seemed harmless enough. Heck even the threat he made wasn't all that threatening.

    "Meh, you seem harmless enough. Yea I'm fine with donating some blood. Just make sure to not hit anything I actually need bud."

    With that he exposed his arm outwards.

    "Normally I would want to get to know my date before we get to the nitty gritty, but I'll let it slide this time."

    @Iván Carl

  4. She was a vampire now. Why was she a vampire!? What did that have to do with speed dating!? She'd been promised free drinks and some company, maybe making some friends or something like that! Being turned into a vampire and sneaking into a building, like she was in some sort of cutscene, wasn't something that she'd been prepared for when she logged on today, ready for this whole speed dating thing.

    And even her Masteries had changed to reflect her little change, as irritating as that was. Seduction? What was the point of that? Since when had vampires been seductive creatures? Didn't they just snatch people and bleed them dry?

    She hummed, slipping her fingers through a crack in the window, barely kept open in the heat of the night, pulling it open completely until she could climb through, into the bedroom of a woman. Well, this was awkward. "Uh, hello there?" She asked, shuffling around for a moment. "I'm uh, a vampire I guess? None of this really makes sense, if I'm totally honest. My name's Autumn."

    @Magdalyn

  5. "Feisty?" Hanno tilted his head, giving a small smile. "Well, depends on a lot of things... But in general I'm a very chill dude." He shrugged. 'I knew I wasn't the only one that forgot to introduce myself!' He nodded, the Faerin was in high spirits after noticing that apparently it was a pretty common thing to simply forget about introductions.

    The Faerin looked at the red eyed woman. "I'm kind of hungry too-" Hanno pondered. 'Do vampires even feel hunger? I thought they only felt thirsty.' "It should have some food here, but all we get are those drinks... That for some reason aren't popping up at all!"

    A very faint voice inside his subconsciousness kept yelling as hard as it could to Hanno realize that talking to a freaking vampire is DANGEROUS. But the Faerin apparently ignored the yells deliberately. After all, this was a speed dating, right? He needed to make their companion feel as comfortable as they could, before he got rejected again. "Oh, you see, I have this garlic mastery! If we find some ingredients in this house's kitchen, I could cook something wonderful for us! Uh... Or without the garlic, I heard that you guys dislike this kind of stuff." He grinned, his masteries may have been affected by the weird dating system, but his vocations kept being the same!

  6. Yep, that didn't work. Apparently she scared the poor kid off with her act. Of course, she has beginner seducing. Should she play the nice girl? Or sexier and cooler? The latter always works best with vampire roleplaying, as far as she know, Corvella's lack of knowledge being the important key in this. Time to Edward Cullen my way through this. Corvella, go!

    "Hmm okay, why don't we sit down and talk this through?"

    Still walking towards Sean, this time in even slowly pace, to not make a sudden move that could result in a chair flying to her face. Occasionally, she shifts the cloak out of the way to show more of the sexualized costume. Corvella herself does not feel comfortable wearing this wannabe vampire suit, but hey, this is a speed dating, use whatever you're given.

    "If you like talking, I can talk all night." She whispered. There's still this urge to suck whatever blood in his body. Wait, she's not supposed to drink his blood for real, remember.

    @Sean Poteitoku

  7. As the woman agreed to talk, Sean let out a sigh of relief. Thank goodness... He accidentally lowered the chair onto his foot, releasing a "Dch!" before regaining himself and putting the chair down.

    "So, the speed dating thing created vampires this time... Well, what's happening is happening. I'm not good with this type of thing, so what are we supposed to talk about?"

    The woman seemed a tiny bit familiar to Sean, yet he didn't know why.

    @Corvella

  8. Mizuki wasn't sure what to make of this Speed Dating service, other than that she was bored and thought that it might be funny. Which was why she was now here standing in the rain, with lightning flashing all around as she wondered whether this was actually going to be fun or just annoying. Well, she had enough experience with bad weather both inside and outside of the game, so she shrugged before heading towards the mansion, the only landmark of note aside from a lot of trees. She figured whoever she was supposed to be speed dating with was going to be in there.

    From closer up it was easier to see that one of the windows was still well lit, and while usually Mizuki wouldn't have taken that as motivation to try and break in she'd been told that for the duration of the scenario she would have a mastery specifically for breaking and entering, so up she went. Grabbing whatever handholds were available she scaled the wall, finding it pretty easy to find more handholds and keeping her balance. The lit window was several floors up, but thanks to the Illustrious Home Invasion the vampire Caenis had little issue reaching it, after which she first pushed the window open and then pulled herself out of the rain and into the room, squatting on the ledge as she looked inside... And saw a little girl lying in bed.

    The heterochromatic vampire stared, one eye a brilliant scarlet and the other freezing blue. She was pretty sure this was supposed to be a Speed Dating service... and she was also pretty sure she wasn't going to be flirting with a minor. Scratching her head she somewhat ruined the mysterious image, since even having lightning illuminating you from the background didn't make the act of scratching your head look exotic.

    So... the dating aspect was kind of a bust, but she guessed it was better to at least say hi and maybe play along with the scenario in a completely platonic manner. The best reason she could think of for why a child would participate would be for the scenarios, so maybe she'd do the girl a favour?

    Ah... good evening, little miss. I've travelled for many hours before being beset upon by the storm, and as chance would have it your home was nearby. Could I... beseech you to let me stay, at least for a little while?

    Mizuki was pretty sure she was sounding incredibly silly, but at least she was making an effort.

    @Das Ein Magia

  9. A dramatic organ played in the background as lightning pierced the dark night sky to reveal the vampire’s thin, intimidating silhouette. The wide cape that flowed behind them in the chilly wind would cause most to feel dwarfed, and the concept of being alone with a bloodthirsty beast created an atmosphere of terror.

    The intruder leapt in through the window, creeping towards the lass’s bed, clearly preparing to strike... yet as the figure stepped into what little light illuminated the room, the horror movie effect was quickly dispelled.

    Yukisa had his usual deadpan look, and combined his white skin and hair, he served for a rather underwhelming vampire. The only thing that might have been frightening about his appearance would be his golden-red eyes that glowed with hunger, but even that seemed more he was desperate for a good burger than the blood of a human. Speaking of...

    Growl.

    His arms quickly reached to cover his stomach as it let out a hungry roar. It felt as though there was a cavity in his abdomen, despite the fact that, according to his hunger meter, he was full.

    With a desperate look, he glanced at Kaede. “I’m hungry...” he muttered, which might come off the wrong way, coming out of a fanged mouth and landing upon the ears of the person who’s room he just invaded.

    @Kaede Hoshi

  10. Madison blinked for a moment while she processed what the intruder said and the cadence in his voice. "Yeah, been mine for all of the last three minutes, I suppose."

    And then, everything clicked into place. Her eyes light up with comprehension. "Ohhh, you're going hard into the whole role-playing bit. I gotcha'. Okay, hang on a second."

    The witch tussled her hair a bit to make it seem like she had been asleep for hours now. Her mind ran around in circles, blanking on what to actually do in a situation like this despite the libraries of fan-fic and classy, tasteful lewds that were floating around inside her noggin.

    Gah--! What did that one bitch with the priestess turquoise hair and three cat tails say when the queen of the underworld show up with the--

    Madison glanced up at the man, a wry smile crossing her face. Good gods, she was so uncomfortable right now. It probably showed, too. What ever happened to just doing this crap in a tavern, a bunch of numbered tables, and a pile of fancy food and wine? What's wrong with that kind of dating?

    Whoever arranged this scenario was going to get a stern talking-to once this event was over.

    Madison took a deep breath to steady her nerves.

    "So..."

    And then she exhaled, unable to follow that up.

    Instead, she shook her head. "Sorry, I'm... I'm not very good at this sort of thing."

    @Haru

  11. ''That won't do, I'm afraid,'' she answered to all of his suggestions with a couple of words she pulled out of nowhere, motioning to her face with a gesture of her hands before pushing herself off the window frame. Everyone familiar with a bit of information on vampiric folklore would've known garlic to be a threat to the deadly creatures, and she had absolutely no wish to suffer the same fate as those who'd been too foolish to die or get badly injured by a mistake on their food.

    ''Say, Hanno,'' Portia brought a hand to her lips, hiding her mouth away from view as she recalled the words he'd used when talking about himself, ''Would you mind lending a poor girl like me some of your blood?'' It wasn't something she would ask out of this particular context, allowing her newly acquired masteries to take temporary control of her actions rather than common sense to keep her grounded. Perhaps she was being too bold for someone who had come to this event unwillingly, but the need for blood was all she knew. No shame, no boundaries.

    By the time she reached the Faerin's side, the vampiric brawler became fully glad that her match for this round was someone small and easy to take out if push came to shove. Portia was never one to take extreme measures on those who didn't mean her any harm, but the thirst was not whispering sweet thoughts into her mind. All the contrary, truth be told.

    @Hanno Futaba

  12. "...Aha, was I that bad?" He recognised that look. It was the very same kind of tenseness that his doctors had every time he glared at them when they came to tell him news those years ago. Guilt befell him, so he rolled along with it. It wouldn't do to stumble over his feet.

    Taking a chair from the desk in the room, he drags it over and has a seat, leaning into his palm. "I thought I'd try acting once to see if it was any fun, since I've never got the chance to try before. Sorry- I didn't think about how you'd feel. Want to start over? I could break in through the front door this time."

    Haru relaxed back to his tried and true serene grin despite the addition of fangs on them. He decided that it would be best not to mention how much of a pain that would be- that rain had really hurt.

    @Madison Freebird

  13. The sight of the guy's fangs glistening in the lingering flashes of lightning was not lost on her. But Madison chose to ignore it.

    So, that's what the gimmick of this date is...

    The woman relaxed a bit, knowing that the vampire's ruse was shattered. "No, you're fine," she said with a dismissive wave and motioning for him to sit. "We're all acting like people we aren't as it is, living out our little power fantasies in a VR game already. No need to be a dude playing a dude who's playing another dude just to make things even more difficult, ya' know?"

    A rumble of thunder rolled through the night, rattling the open windows. Madison thought to get up and shut them, but it wasn't like it was her expensive shit that was getting soaked.

    "We can start over with a bit of conversation, though," she added. "I'm Madison. What's your name? Tell me a bit about yourself."

    @Haru

  14. A dark and stormy night.

    She used to hate these. The illusions this mysterious man makes were... really strong. Being a user of such magic herself. Wendel was actually pretty interested in knowing more about it. Creating another world. That was very much something she'd like to do. Just replace everything with exactly what each person wanted.

    This was just using such power for fun. That irritated the girl but she was here to 'make friends' so she played along. The room she was in was nothing like Wendy's back in Boston nor her's in Vermillion Manor. This... was not a life she saw as ideal.

    A voice from the window and a... dog person? It was hard to tell exactly. Wendel saw that they were sopping wet but made no efforts to invite them instead the two pairs of bicolored eyes would just meet for a few moments.

    "Gee whiz...are those dog ears?"

    A small smile appeared on her face. Wendy always had a love for touching the nyanko and doggo ears and tails in Terrasphere. As always, Wendel saw most things similarly... but... more along the point of...

    "Hehehe... we're supposed to hang out a while. That's the point of this stuff right?"

    Obsession.

  15. Haru found himself caught off guard a little. How did he miss that? "We never did give our names back at that mansion, did we? I'm Haru. The rats were fascinating, by the way."

    He found himself really wishing for a drink right now. He also wanted it to be blood, so that particular indignation was duly ignored. What were his masteries even suppised to be, anymore..? This couldn't be legal- oh wait. Duh.

    It seems that his desires were mistaken and answered by the rather sneaky hostess when a bottle was shoved into his restless hand. He blinks once, surprised, but wouldn't want to look a gift horse in the mouth, so he decides to set it on the door of the bed in the case that either one of them started feeling alcoholic any time soon.

    He looks around the room in a halfhearted attempt to find the ponytailed drinkman to no avail. "Very fascinating. A lot of things in this world are. I feel like a tourist trying to see and feel as much as I can before..." Haru stops himself and continues onto a different subject. "I don't have many spades to talk about, if we're talking about me. I guess you could say I'm retired in a way. What of you, have you found a dream job by any chance?"
