  1. When Eras had first received the strange email from the unknown sender he had half a mind to delete it like all the other spam mail. The other part of his mind was curious however. An unknown sender with something about a new game? He had to see this. Without much delay he downloaded it onto his headset and dived in. He went through the usual MMO phases of character creation by choosing the things that he felt fit his personality. Berserker set up? Well he did fight for a living. Short? He had a thing for small animals and this monster he created was far from being cute and human-like in comparison to literally anything else. He confirmed his selection and saw his body change in a flash of light.

"The name's Krieg, and don't you forget it."

With that confirmation, the game registered his name and spawned him in.

    High in the air.

    ".....what."

    Then, he stared falling.

Has anyone ever mentioned that his luck was pretty bad?

As he fell he decided to make a plan of action. His only chance was to grab onto a branch of one of the trees in order to stop his fall. He did his best to stear himself in the direction of the nearest tree and-

    *creeeeak*

He only just barely managed to grab onto the branch. With a sigh of relief he looked down and saw that he was hanging just over the side of a cliff that oversaw the beach. If he had fallen anymore he would've seriously hurt himself. Possibly even have died within only seconds of spawning. Seems like reality was giving him a bit of a break. Or was it virtual reality? Not one to care for such things for too long, he began to shimmy his way towards solid ground. That was until he heard a distinct drumming sound above him. He slowly looked up and saw a woodpecker staring directly at him from closer to the tree. It pecked the wood once as if in acknowledgement.

"...buddy, I've had a long few seconds of living. You're cute and all, but even I have limits. Please."

The woodpecker gazed at him for a few moments. They both sat in utter silence as they stared each other down until the decision was made. The woodpecker pecked into the branch that Krieg was holding onto twice, then three times, then more. It was at this moment Krieg began to shimmy to the other side as fast as he could, but it was all for naught. The branch broke and Krieg was sent falling down once again. When he landed on the coast, it created a pillar of sand that rose high above him before falling again. When the dust cleared it was revealed that he had landed headfirst into the sand with the rest of his body sticking out. He tried to push himself out but it seemed that he was having significant trouble. Unknowingly, his newfound anger at what just happened triggered his berserk skill and the ground around him seemed to turn to glass from his literal flames of rage.

Has anyone ever mentioned that his luck was actual garbage?

  2. The water lapped at Joens feet as he slowly made his way down the coast of Brisshal without a care in the world. For awhile now he had been on a journey attempting to gather all of the Yladian Player Characters to create their own society, but today he decided to relax a little bit. The cool and gentle sea breeze gentle tugged at his long white hair, his silver eyes gazed out over the immense span of the blue water, the hem of his white robes were slightly darker from the water as the tides washed over his feet.

Joen closed his eyes and tilted his head back and inhaled deeply before opening them once again, and that was when he seen it, a spot in the sky that was getting closer with every second. He stood there watching for a moment more and then it dawned on him, that was no spot, that was something falling from the sky. His eyes widened slightly in surprise and slightly confused at what would be falling from that high, how did it get up there in the first place?

He stood there and watched it plummet towards the earth before he realized, it wasn't an object but a person...a rather small person at that. A soft chuckle escaped his lips when he watched whoever it was land upon the sand with their head and get stuck unable to get it out. The chuckle however died on his lips as he watched the sand around the stranger turn to glass at the heat that he was putting off. "Nal ast kalipar pveathr!", the words of the magical incantation needed for one of his Hydromancy Spells flew from his lips, and as it did a whip made from the sea water took form before it wrapped itself around the strangers leg and pulled them from the sand and sat them gently upon the surface of the sand before loosing form and splashing harmlessly upon the stranger.

Joen slowly made his way towards the stranger, he kept a small bit of distance however just in case they decided to attack him "Hello, my name is Joen Panelis, King of Yladia, and you are?"

  3. Just as he was about to truly go berserk, digitally, mentally, and physically, he felt something wrap around his leg. Originally, he would've let it happen but then he realized that whatever was grabbing him wasn't exactly human. In fact, it felt more like a...tentacle?

"Woah! OK, nope, nadda, zip! I ain't into that tentacle hentai crap!"

He thrashed with all his might, but it was all for naught as the offending appendage yanked him out of the sand. In the real world, Eras was known for being the top dog in his neighborhood. You had a problem? Say it to his face. You harmed someone under his care? Write out your will cause you're dead. Needed a favor? You owe him later if he even agrees at all. He was the boss no matter what.

So, he in fact did not scream like a little girl. Definitely not. That was ridiculous...OK he did.

After he was put down by the whip, and properly doused to reduce the flames, Krieg shook his hair to get rid of the extra glass and water in it. It puffed up into a frizz for a moment before Krieg clawed at it, which somehow got it back into it's usual wild shape. He turned to the guy who had just introduced himself. Seems like he was one of those elves he had seen in the character creator. A "pretty boy" too.

He had noticed that this guy had made sure to keep a fair distance from him. While he would normally respect that, he was feeling a bit adventurous today. So, he made his way closer to the newcomer. Not close enough to harm him, but enough so that if he tried anything funny he would be within pursuing distance. Casually putting his hands behind his head, Kreig gave the guy a smirk for his efforts. While it would normally seem like a sign of charisma or charm on Eras himself, on Krieg it most likely looked predatory in nature. Hence why he put himself in such a relaxed stance.

"Heh. I originally came looking for a fight, but you helped me out. I owe ya one I guess. Name's Er- I mean Krieg. It's nice to meet'cha your highness. If it wasn't for you I'd be one with the earth in more ways than one."

He chuckled while giving an exaggerated bow as a way to further ease Joen's fears.

  4. Joen had to stifle a small chuckle as the stranger let out a very high pitched scream, that was definitely something that he hadn't been expecting but kept his silver eyes trained upon the stranger all the same. Given his physical appearance Joen could only assume that he was a Faerin, that was the only player character race that he knew of that came in such a short stature. He had to admit that he was more than slightly curious as in all the time that he had spent inside the virtual realm of Terrasphere Online he couldn't think of a single time that he had crossed paths with a Faerin.

As he stood there another wave of water sloshed up and onto his feet prompting him to look down and utter a small grunt of annoyance and move slightly further up the beach and out of the reach of the tides, well at least for now but he didn't plan on still being there when the high tides came in. Turning his attention back to the Faerin Joen looked him up and down reading his body language, nothing about him seemed to stand out as aggressive for the moment, in fact it almost seemed as if he was going out of his way to make Joen feel more relaxed around him. Taking all this in mind Joen allowed himself to let down his guard ever so slightly, after all it wasn't like he was carrying any weapons that he would need time to get ready if he was attacked since he was a magic user all he had to be able to do was speak.

Joen nodded his head ever so slightly "Its nice to meet you Krieg", tilting his head back he looked up into the air from where he had witnessed Krieg fall from curious as to how he got up there in the first place. I mean its not like the game would have spawned him up in the air would it? Well he supposed the only way that he would really know for sure and be able to satisfy his curiosity he would just have to ask him "If you don't mind me asking, what exactly where you doing that caused you to fall from way up there?"

  5. Happy that he got the intended results, Krieg stood straight once more. He made a few stretching motions to limber himself up for whatever was ahead, but stopped himself at the Yladian's question. He honestly didn't want to talk about it because it completely ruined the tough guy image that he was trying to go for. On the other hand, he definitely needed some allies if he was going to make it in this game and if this guy was seriously a King like he said? No way should he pass something like that up. He'll play nice with this guy for now.

    "Oh that."

Krieg cross his arms for a moment before closing his eyes and tilting his head, as if in serious thought about how he should explain this turn of events. After a few moments, he decided that the best way of explaining would be to simply say it how it was. The most embarrassing part was over and this guy didn't seem all too bad.

"Well, I spawned in the sky, fell onto a tree branch, got screwed over by a woodpecker, fell again, and finally got my head stuck in the ground from the impact."

Krieg simply shrugged his shoulders after telling his side of the story. He knew this was just his horrible luck playing a factor again. He looked around and saw that there weren't many signs of civilization near them. That was until he noticed something peculiar about the landscape.

"Hey, you already know about this place right? So, where the heck does that lead.", he said while pointing towards the nearby path leading into the forest. He took a few steps towards it and squinted into the dense vegetation, trying to find a sign or something. Behind him the sands closer to the water seemed to shift towards the duo. He heard the sound and quickly turned to face whatever it was that was behind him. Unfortunately, whatever it was had already stopped it's movements.

"Nevermind. Hey pretty boy. You got more of those tricks up your sleeve? I don't think my luck is done with me just yet."

  6. Joen stood there and listened to the Faerin tell his story silently taking in every word, the game had spawned him up there? Did it really do things like that or was it merely a glitch that had happened, he didn't know and more than likely would never be able to find out so there was no reason to dwell upon it. Shaking his head ever so slightly to clear the thoughts from his mind Joen turned his head and looked in the direction that the stranger had pointed in, right when Joen had opened his mouth to answer the question he caught movement out of the corner of his eye.

Turning his head he looked at the sand around them, he was sure that he had just seen it move ever so slightly, had he imagined it? No he definitely did not and his thoughts were confirmed when he seen the sand shift again causing him to narrow his eyes ever so slightly. They were on the beach so it was possible that a large crab species of some sort could have been laying in weight under the sand for prey to wander near unsuspectingly.

What rose up from the sand however was something that Joen would never have expected, several large grey bodies rose up all carrying weapons of some sort "Orcs" that one word left Joens lips, the pure distaste that he held for them could be heard in the way he said their name. A soft growl escaped Joens lips as his entire body posture changed in the blink of an eye, no longer was he relaxed and laid back, now he was ready for battle as he dropped into a defensive posture. "Tangus jalaran soth!", the words of the magical invocation seemed to echo around the beach as the chant flew from his lips and as the last syllable left his lips the spell itself took into affect.

A large wave rose up from the ocean next to them before rushing towards the Orcs and crashed upon them. The spell itself was not powerful enough to kill an entire Orc raiding party but it did push them further up the coast and allowed the two adventures more time to ready themselves. Turning his head back towards the Faerin that he had just met "I bought us a couple of moment, get ready for a fight"

  7. Dark. Her mind drifted somewhere familiar, yet unknown all the same. In the distance, she could hear the sound of water flowing and smell the sea. In a rather uncomfortable position, her body bouncing up and down in rhythm to large and bulky steps that carried her forward. Then her eyelids opened and the sun screamed at her pupils, prompting her to shut her green eyes almost immediately. From what she could see and tell, she was captured by orcs. Why, again? Right. Her mind was still a bit foggy. How long has it been since she lost consciousness?

From what she could recall, she feigned weakness and allowed them to capture her in order to complete a quest. Feign weakness, get inside their base of operations and slaughter them all in a surprise attack from a weakling meatsack, as she remembered how they politely referred to herself. She tried to move her arms, but Leona soon noticed her torso was restrained with chains, though she came to the conclusion breaking them with strength alone should be simple for her. While she looked around, a quick glance over the orc that carried her on his shoulder revealed he also stole her chained axes.

“Morons.” She thought with her lips curling into a light smile. "What do they think I am, some sort of prize? They even brought my weapons for me...” Leona did not think of herself as extremely smart. In fact, she wasn’t the smartest knife in the drawer, but she wasn’t as low as these overgrown goblins in the intelligence department. Things changed when the band of orcs suddenly stopped, one of them barking orders in a language she couldn’t hope to understand. Using their strength, they started to bury themselves… In the sand. Of course, she was forced to participate in the coastal activities and had to tolerate a cuddle coming from a smelly orc while hidden under the sand. Yuck.

Breathing hardships aside, they eventually decided to stop their orcerilla warfare and showed up for a surprise attack. Unexpectedly for them, (and unfortunately for Leona) one of the adventurers before them was a mage who managed to conjure a spell and crash water against them, Leona included. Great. For the time being, she’d stand by and watch what would they do in this situation. They were the ones in trouble, not her, really. All according to keikakku her plan.

If they managed to kill them without her help, great, less effort required for a quest. If they died, even better, because she’d get to find the village and kill even more orcs. She kept a neutral expression, held by one of the orcs on his shoulder. It was a win-win scenario, though only for Leona. In any case, she hoped they’d be done quick. She was starting to feel cold no thanks to the ocean water that just crashed on her. She’d rather not get a virtual cold...

  8. Seeing as this would be his first time in legitimate combat Krieg quickly accessed his menu and skimmed through all the skills he currently had in his arsenal. With a nod of affirmation he dispelled the screen and got into a battle stance. Thanks to free mode, he had a much more fluid style planned out for his attacks that was similar to how he fought in the real world. He took a few experimental punches and nodded when they used a tiny bit of his energy.

Strangely enough, he saw that the orcs had a girl with them as well. All chained up too. Perhaps this was something similar to a roaming quest in other RPGs? That motivated him just a tiny bit more to get rid of these guys, but for now he would put her to the back of his mind. He couldn't exactly save her if he lost this fight now could he?

After the orcs had re-orientated themselves, they got into battle formations. They looked fiercely at their opponents until their eyes landed on Krieg. A few grew predatory smirks on their faces as if they had just found their next meal. Another orc pointed a laughed at him while a few others began to slowly join in. One of them was even brazen enough to make a few clicking noises, as if calling a dog. That was the last straw. When one of the ugly beasts began to walk towards Krieg as if to intimidate him he casually met the thing halfway with a few parting words.

"Hey Kingy. It looks like they captured the chick over there. Could you save her while I go do something?"

He turned towards the group of orcs and cracked his knuckles, activating his berserk state.

"I feel like cracking some heads."

The orc in front of him realized the threat in his words and growled. With a roar it brought it's club down upon Krieg's head. They both froze in place for a moment until Krieg looked up at his attacker with the most manic grin on his face. The nameless orc flinched for just a moment before bringing up it's club again.

"I'm going to beat you guys six ways from sunday."

With that promise made, he kicked the orcs legs out from under it. Once it was on it's knees, Krieg punched it straight in the jaw. Due to the combination of heroic might and berserk, the orc was sent flying towards the ocean where it proceeded to bounce like a stone across the water before plummeting. Seeing that one of their own had just been defeated, the rest of the orcs began to charge. With a laugh fit for a killer in a slasher film, Krieg ran forward with reckless abandon. The moment one got within range he squatted on the ground and leaped forward, headbutting the poor orc with all his might. A crack could be heard from the impact, but it was unclear from whose head it was. He noticed his health had dropped just a tad from the attacks earlier, but it wasn't anything to worry about. Two down.

"Which one of you bastards is next?"

  9. Joen held his ground and kept his level headed composure, elves were supposed to always remain calm and never show any emotions right, I mean that's how it always went in the movies. However Joen noticed only after his wave had crashed into the orc party that they seemed to have a hostage with them, perhaps a non-player character that they had captured? If that was the case then maybe they had unwittingly stumbled upon some quest or another?

Either way it didn't matter, there was a group of orcs that needed to have been dealt with and they took priority over everything else. Joens eyes scanned the area around them, he had plenty of water for any hydromancy spell that he decided to use and that was very helpful. Using a preexisting source of water took a lot less energy than trying to pull enough moisture of of the air to use, especially when trying to use a spell of a decent size and power.

Listening to the Faerins request he nodded his head ever so slightly "Indeed, I will aid her", his eyes moved away from the party of orcs and towards the female who had put some distance between herself and events that were unfolding before her. The female seemed to be bound at her chest with chains that prevented her arms from being able to move freely which brought an idea to his mind. "Moipar maldifidii norn!", the sound of his magical invocation seemed to echo around the beach until the last syllable had been uttered and the spell began to take form, the chains that bound the female froze solid along the front and Joen called over to her "Those chains should be brittle enough to be easily broken"

Joen turned his attention away from the female and back to his new companion, she should be able to free herself now and he thought the Faerin would need some assistance. But perhaps he had been wrong about that, during the time that Joen was completing his actions the Faerin had already managed to bring down two of the orcs "Impressive" was the only world that Joen uttered as he stood there and watched the Faerin at work.

  10. Leona watched as the duo seemed to plan something or discuss what to do, though she could not understand much of it because of the distance between them. The Faerin proceeded to give the orcs that approached him a good beating, displaying admirable strength. Meanwhile, the Yladian casted a spell on the chains binding her. Leona stared at him for a moment, before realizing she wasn’t quite putting enough effort and spirit into her role — she was supposed to be the damsel in distress! Leona feigned resistance against the brittle chains, intentionally wiggling on the shoulder of the orc hat held her captive.

Her captor noticed and used his arm to tighten her body and restrict Leona’s movement. “H-help…!” Contrary to her pleading yelp, she wasn’t quite feeling pain. Thanks to her berserk skills, she didn’t quite feel the pain but an uncomfortable sensation. She had to give the orc credit, however, because if not for her skills Leona would’ve been experiencing pain instead. The bulky orc laughed, words flowing out of his mouth, this time in the common language. “You stay quiet over there, weakling meatsack. We’ll kill these two, haul them back as meat, and I’ll make thorough use of you myself. Great, don’t you think? Gehehe.”

The blonde involuntarily winced in response to his words and disgusting breath. “Gross, gross. Did he really say that out loud…” She thought in disgust. Meanwhile, she tried to free herself from the enemy’s grasp, but to no avail. The orc that held her hostage stepped forward and unsheathed his cub from his back. “Ya got some guts, tryin’ to snatch away my hunt n’ prize like that!” He lunged forward, and his large club descended in a wide arc in an attempt to crush the yladian under its weight. With speed and power like that, it was obvious that he was a cut above the rest of the orcs on the squad. Whether he managed to beat the yladian to a pulp or not, the orc turned to the rest of the crew and barked orders once more.

“Don’t underestimate the munchkin! He’s got some muscles! Yall get him all at once!” In response, rather than one after another, the six remaining orcs lunged forward using their clubs to crush the faerin on the sand. Leona just watched under her damsel in distress guise. They were doing great. In fact, considering how far they’ve come, Leona would try and invite them to hunt down the village if they managed to pull their own weight. Terrasphere was a game, but if any of them were newbies, she’d use this as a chance to teach them things weren’t easy around here. No use in carrying dead weight!

Yes, dead weight. Just like her really bad acting skills.

  11. When he heard the top dog bark out his orders in plain English he was surprised for a moment. That surprise gave away to annoyance as he heard the guy order the rest of his buddies to rush him down. With all of his might he leaped and tackled one of the orcs to separate him from the rest of the group for a few moments.

He began to savagely beat it's head into the ground until he was sure it was dead. When one tried to grab him he shoved it away into the water. He was about to get up and asses his situation, but a club struck him on the back of the head. He tried to move, but it seems like whatever attack the orc used made his body lock in place.

    'A stun skill?'

Two of the orcs grabbed a hold of Krieg's arms before another one swung it's club into his stomach. It didn't hurt anywhere near as much as he thought it would, but the wind leaving his lungs didn't feel any more comfortable. The strength left his body for a moment against his will and the orc hit him again on the head this time. That one made his head ring a little but he was still very much able to fight. So, when the orc tried to go for another attack Krieg struck.

He swung his lower body upwards and kicked straight through the club, breaking it in half. It didn't stop there though. Due to the force of his swing he kept going until his foot connected with the orc's face. The unfortunate orc's head snapped back as he was sent flying onto the other side of the beach.

When it came to the other two, he decided to get a bit creative in how he dealt with them. He kicked one in the gut, leaving him to writhe on the ground. The other one he grabbed by the arms and proceeded to slam into the ground once before sending it skidding across the sandy landscape headfirst. It didn't move after that. It would've looked impressive if it wasn't for that fact that his small body in comparison made it look ridiculous.

"Now then. What to do with you?", he said as he turned towards the orc on the ground. It looked at him in defiance as if challenging him to do his worst. Krieg, however, had an idea.

"Ya know what? You got spunk! I'll let ya go. Get stronger for me please."

The orc's eyes widened in surprise at the claim.

    "R-really. Oh thank y-"

Krieg proceeded to cut his joy short by punching the poor guy's head into the ground. The orc's body was comically sticking out of the ground while his head was stuck beneath the sand.

"Oh did I say that? Sorry."

Now that he had a chance to breathe, Krieg checked the notifications that were making themselves known.

"It'll be more than enough for this guy."
, he said as blood began to slowly trickle down his head.

  12. Joens eyes narrowed slightly as he watched the orc that held the female hostage, in every fantasy themed book, movie and anime he had every watched orcs were these repulsive twisted creatures and just like with everything else in this virtual world Terrasphere had captured that essence perfectly. The orcs yellowed teeth were broken and pointed from neglect and Joen could only imagine how disgusting their breathe had to smell, if how powerful their body odor was was any indication to go off of he really felt sorry for the hostage. Joen shook his head as he listened to the disgusting words that left the foul creatures mouth "You really shouldn't say such things out loud you know".

As the orc sailed through the air towards his Joen waited until the last possible second before he launched himself to the right and rolled out of harms way before returning to his feet. A small smirk spread across his face "Oh you miserable creature you know not who you have challenged. Witness my power.", Joen turned to face the orc captain once again and spread his arms wide "Pilif tsaran puch ith pilif!". The words of the magical incantation seemed to echo around the beach once more until the last syllable left his lips, a second passed and nothing happened appearing as if the spell had ended in a failure.

And that was when it happened, an incredibly loud roar ripped through the air. In the distance a dot appeared in the sky, a dot that got larger and larger by the second until all upon the beach could tell that it was not just a dot at all. Large leathery wings propelled an enormous scaled body through the air, a maw full of razor sharp teeth opened up revealing a large amount of flames within, flames that sprung forth from its mouth in the form of a stream and set everything that it touched ablaze. It appeared to all on the beach that Joen had just summoned a dragon to come and fight for him.

As the large flying flame breathing lizard soared through the air it released another ear splitting roar before it landed behind Joen and covered the area in dust. Joen stood there a grin spread across his face as he looked at the terrified expression that was plastered upon the orcs face before whispering "Jistrah", and with that single mystical word a ice spear formed impaling the orc captain straight through its eye and exiting the back of its head killing it instantly. A soft chuckle escaped his lips as he looked over at the orc that was slowly rising to its feet within the water "Oh no you don't." Joen raised his right hand and pointed it at the last remaining orc "Miopiar xaquin utzilah utzilah!"

Once again the words of the mystical incantation seemed to echo around the beach before the last word ended and the final orc found itself frozen completely solid in a block of ice. Joen turned his attention to the Orc captain that was being held upright by the ice spear that was impaled through its head, slowly he made his way over to the female that was still on the orcs shoulder and gripped the brittle chains and with one good pull shattered the frozen metal. Joen turned his head and looked at the beach around them, a line of the sand still burning with fire and a dragon sitting upon its coast and with the wave of his hand the dragonfire and even the dragon itself shimmered from view having been nothing more that an illusion conjured through his skill with his Illusion Magic mastery. The reason that everyone one the beach could see it was because it was an illusion that was activated through hearing, all one had to do was hear the caster speak in invocation and they were trapped in the illusion themselves.

Once again Joen turned his attention to the female who was no free from captured and smiled softly "Are you okay?"

  13. With all enemies defeated, Leona sighed in relief and pursed her lips while nodding in approval. One way or another, they both managed to defeat a small band of orcs, including their captain or whatever else was fitting for the ranks within their society. She was definitely planning to find and raid their village hidden somewhere nearby in Brisshal, but now that they’ve proved they were worth their own weight she had to try and convince them to join her. “T-thanks, I owe you one, mister.” She said as the Yladian approached and freed her from the chains and her now deceased captor. “Yes, I am okay, thanks to you two. God knows what they planned to do with me...” She looked around as she made her way behind the largest orc, the one that held her captive moments ago.

“I’m just a merchant that got captured from a raided caravan. Needless to say, everyone else was killed. I’m quite lucky.” She reached out for the orc’s back, removing the two chained axes on his back. They were her weapons, after all. “Is what I would say, if I were some sort of NPC in trouble.” She intentionally used the meta word in order to find out whether they were players or people from this virtual world through their reactions. “Turns out that I let them capture me to let me find their hidden village here in Brisshal. Now I can’t reach the village and all of the orcs are dead.” After she finished talking with her impassive and soft-spoken words, the blonde sighed. Well, what’s done is done.

“At least you guys fought well. You, small guy --” She could tell from his look alone that he had just started playing the game. Leona brought up her user menu and after a few taps a healing potion materialized on her hands before she tossed it to @Krieg . “Here, catch. That should help patch you up for the time being. Ya gave them a good beating, well done. ” She looked towards @Joen Panelis and remembered all the magic the man casted on the battle. “All those spells makes me wonder if I should try and learn some of that magic thing… I tried it before, but using spells felt really awkward, so I’ve been going physical ever since.” She grabbed her weapons by the chains, spinning both chained axes with finesse and strength to display her skill with them.

“Anyways, onto the main point.” She sheathed her weapons on her back before proceeding. “Since my free pass to the orc village is now gone, I’ll have to look for them. Truth be told, I’m no good with wayfinding.” Leona scratched the back of her head and her lips curled up in an awkward smile, the smile of someone well aware of their flaws. “You guys got some skills of your own, if any of you know how to do directions and whatnot, how about you join me on finding them?” The blonde puffed up her chest, arms resting on her hips. Oh, right. They might think she was a weakling.

“Just so you know, I’m more than enough to handle these guys… I think. I just can’t find things for the life of me.” She scratched her messy blonde hair once more. “So what do you say? You two up for a quest coming from a player?” She remained quiet, waiting for their response. Honestly, if they refused, she’d just go home.

...If she could find her way back, that is.

  14. Krieg caught the healing potion with his hand before uncapping it and sitting down. The red liquid soon disappeared as he quickly drank it like a shot of alcohol. After a few moments the cut on his head healed and the bleeding stopped. He wiped away whatever excess blood was left on his forehead and watched the potion disappear from his grasp. If only he had these things in the real world. He then turned toward the other two players present.

"Hmph. So, the chick was actually another player. I'd normally be annoyed right now, but after that fight I'm in a good mood. Yeah, I'll help ya out." Although he was a bit miffed at being deceived, Krieg didn't bother lashing out. In fact, now that he heard the other side of the story it seemed that they were the one's messing things up for her. He decided to simply forgive and forget this time around.

Despite being a naturally violent individual, Krieg could be quite mellow with the proper incentive. It's just that , the mentioned incentive usually had to do with more violence. That or small and cute animals, those were nice.

"So, Kingy. You up for assisting the not-so-fair maiden? An elf king like yourself can't have filthy orcs running around can ya?" Honestly, he was more or less trying to butter the guy up. The "royal" types he used to meet could easily be coerced into something that way. Maybe it was the same here? While Joen had earned some of his respect for fighting alongside him and he seemed harmless enough, Krieg could never be too sure. Krieg knew that if people took he himself at face value in the real world they would be in for quite the surprise down the line. Better safe than sorry.

"Oh and uh..." He scratched his cheek with a sheepish look on his face.

"Would you happen to know where to go from here?"
The game had already fulfilled most of the criteria for a classic fantasy world. Unfortunately, he wasn't as versed in the common lore as he used to be, so he had no idea where orcs would usually live. Perhaps they were simply deeper in the forest? Then again, he had never played this game before, so he had no idea how to navigate either. He's pretty sure if he tried to lead them they'd end up lost.

  15. As Joen stood there looking at the female he began to realize that maybe, just maybe, he was spending to much time in the virtual world of Terrasphere since he was beginning to find himself thinking as if he actually truey was an Elf. Standing there looking at the female he found that he was beginning to hate humans, no matter who they were, or where they were, real world or virtual all they did was lie and scheme. Everyone of them had some ulterior motive up their sleeve for everything that they did and this human female was no different.

Shaking his head ever so slightly Joen moved away from the female and looked out over the water for a few seconds as he gathered his thoughts. She had lied about being a hostage, not only that she had pretended to be helpless and made no attempt to lend them aide in dispatching the Orcs, what else could she be lying about? There might not even be a quest at all, she could simply be triyng to lure them out into the forest so that she could either kill them or rob them of their stuff. Either was Joen didn't trust her as far as he could spit her.

Turning around he faced the human female once more as he handed the Faerin a healing potion to help him restore some of the damage that he had received during the battle. Damage that he might not have taken at all had she not played the damsel in distress and actually helped them, so in Joens eyes it was nothing more than an empty gesture on her part. His eyes never left the female for a second as she seemed to praise his magic, a gesture that did nothing to make Joen trust her anymore, if nothing else it made him think even less of her than he already had, a feat that in and of itself was rather impressive.

Joen turned his head to look at the Faerin when he addressed him before closing his eyes and sighing ever so slightly. Deciding to keep his suspicions to himself for him Joen nodded his head ever so slightly "I suppose I will lend you my aid, if for no other purpose than to rid these lands of more Orc filth" standing there he opened his eyes once again and allowed his silver optics to take in the scenery before he pointed further down the beach where they could make out the treeline which was the beginning of the forest.

"Once we are in there I will be able to track the Orcs easily", and with that statement Joen made his way down the beach until he reached the treeline and looked deep into the forest inside. "Damen miopiar ithikitalkus moipar!", the words of power that fell from Joens lips seemed to echo around from every direction as his spell took affect, standing there Joen was able to sense all the trees around him, expanding his view further he was able to sense where the trees came to a end in a spot that the shouldn't and wouldn't have naturally, this was where the Orcs 'camp' was. "I have located the Orcs, they are holed up in what appears to be a makeshift fort of some kind three hundred meters directly north from here in the forest"
