  1. Glitter sparkled around her, highlighting her perfectly pale, chiseled jawbone and lustrous L'Oreal-worthy locks. Her heart skipped a beat, a foreign feeling rising in her at the sight of the scarlet-eyed, black-haired lady. Despite herself, Alpha sauntered closer, taking in the other girl's visage, a strange tingling sensation tickling the back of her throat as she did so.

The girl, her victim, looked like a mistress of the night. Alpha couldn't help herself.

She threw her arms in the air, neck craned back to scream into the sleepless night, and cried. "Aurghhh, this is so unfair!" she cursed at the heavens, shining beads of dew slipping from her fluttery eyes as the sparkles continued to glimmer in the moonlight. She pointed an accusing finger at Lady N, eyes filled with righteous fury. "I mean, you're like...prime vampire material! Why can't I get spooky red eyes, huh?! I'm the vampire here, not you!" she whined.

It was then that she realized what that odd feeling was. Jealousy. Envy. Any other word of similar definition. Yup, Alphabet Chocolate was completely consumed by the fact that this girl's entire being was more vampiric than her own. Which, to be fair, is totally understandable. Have you ever been one-upped by someone at a costume party or a cosplay convention who dressed up in the exact same costume as you (but somehow managed to fit it better?). Life was just unfair, it seems.

"Ugh, yada yada. Let's get this over with," Alpha grumbled, lifting a finger to poke her sharp canines. After a few prods, the fangs seemed to protrude out of the formerly human teeth-sockets. "So, just for the lawyers: this is entire safe, sane, and consensual. By participating in this activity, you have signed a disclaimer stating that you do not have any medical problems that may result in a dangerous situation such as: anemia, vampire-phobia, and allergies. If anything goes wrong, I am not held liable. Just think of everything like a glorified mosquito bite, okay?"

  2. Oh, shit. That's right. He was at the mansion for the plague rat extermination job.

Maddy's smile turned sheepish. "Ah, that's right, that's where we first met, isn't it? Sorry, I didn't recognize you from that. I was a little too busy being mad at those cat twins."

She quickly eyeballed the mug of beer that @Haru set aside. Her mouth immediately began to water--free booze had been offered at the speed dating event, but in both of her dates so far she wasn't able to summon it--and in the first one, a drink actually got thrown in her face by a rather rude and ungrateful kid.

Motioning towards the frosty mug, she asked Haru, "May I?" Without waiting for an answer either way, the woman reached over and brought the ale to her lips and took a deep pull.

Frankly, it was a bit shit. Not quite the Made In America pisswater that she picked up three or four cases of every payday; but still pretty mediocre in every fashion.

Madison set the drink down as her partner for the round ask about what she'd been up to? "Me?" She quickly wiped her lips dry on the sleeve of her evening gown in an unladylike fashion. "Well, yeah, in a sense, I guess. I spent a bunch of time in Dunnstads acquiring books and researching fungus and diseases. It kind of sparked my interest in Nature Magic, so I started spending more time in the forest and expanding my knowledge about the world itself."

Her smile widened just a bit. "I've had a couple people call me a swamp witch, and they're not wrong. But I've sorta turned into a druid by accident, I guess?" She offered a light shrug of her shoulders. "Cost of living's a hell of a lot less in the woods, though. So it's not as bad as some people think."

  3. "I usually remember everyone on spot," she hesitated in her spot with a bit of disappointment ringing with each word softly spoken. Her mind had been a muddled mess as of lately. Recognizing the quiet Enea took quite a bit of effort. Forming vivid memories with the small pink-haired girl in them wasn't impossible, however. Distant memories of early experience facing Dissonance sent a shiver down the young woman's spine. "To be fair you weren't as talkative during battle compared to the rest of our team. I see no guardian around either," Comet teased, chuckling lightly before sliding over to the place her companion offered on the bed.

"I appreciate the generous healing afterwards. You're much more skilled than you look." the blunt comment tinted her cheeks pink, but no effort would be made to take anything said back since insecurity became natural rather than a dominant, controlling force within her mind. Instead it pestered her for a few seconds before retreating. Still, charm had its way with the actress who only momentarily slipped from the role of a intimidating vampire since Enea was... odd in a sense. When thirst for blood returned as did the glowing of crimson eyes followed by a smile full of readied fangs. "A fan of the old stuff?" a thin finger pointed towards Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

The quiet girl noddedas she put the book down on the bed and with another look at Comet, only to end with a small frown,

A vampire fantasy is fun for some, and a nightmare for another.

Ignoring the foreboding presentation Comet was making. Enea shook her head, but then a smile formed... a very difficult to place smile.

Just once. I did come here of my own accord after all, mm-mm.

Then her eyes widened and she screamed extremely loudly. Her hands clenched into fists and she leaped from the bed grabbing a pillow and swinging it wildly at Comet's head.

HELP! HELP! IT'S A VAMPIRE! I'M SCARED! SAVE ME SOMEONE! DON'T EAT ME MISS VAMPIRE! PLEASE NO!

The look on her face quickly changed from fear to a very happy laugh.

  5. 'Oh man, she's tooootally wanting some blood then.' The Faerin stared at the thirsty woman, giving a frown. 'I mean, it's probably horrible to be a vampire, isn't it? Having an uncontrollable thirst for blood, and getting even to the point of madness because of it. I can't really blame her... But at least she asked me instead of straight up attacking me.' He looked at her getting extremely close. 'Though I'm pretty sure she's almost doing it.' A small chuckle came out, followed by a chill smile.

Before the woman could touch him, Hanno placed a hand on her forehead and pushed it gently to give him some personal space. "Look, it's alright! I will lend you some blood, willingly." 'It's better than she go and attack someone else. Besides, I'm a blood donator in real life, so I guess I'm used to it?' He nodded. "But only by three conditions" The Faerin made a three with his fingers.

"One: You can't drain all my blood and make me die. Two: You won't turn me into some weird vampire spawn, though it seems you don't have this ability. And Three..." Hanno smiled looking at her. "Tell me your name." He removed his hand from her forehead.

"If you are willing to agree with these three conditions. I will gladly lend you some blood, you are probably feeling very bad with all this thirst after all." The Faerin pulled his scarf to expose his neck, and rolled up his sleeves to expose his arm. "Well. You choose... If you don't respect the conditions, as much as I don't want to do it, I will throw garlic at you if you attack me. Sorry about it."

  6. Iván grinned menacingly as the Yladian gave him consent. Technically. His fangs sparkled as he bared them out of glee, his abs tightening just in case something tore his clothes up like a sharp whirlwind of sharpness. The vampiric king of the darned offered the mortal a curtsy. And then he took out a machete from within his coat. Like his fangs, the machete also sparkled. For some reason.

"Excellent," he deadpanned, staring straight into the Yladian's eyes in an attempt to mesmerize him or something. He was probably just caught in the moment, though not too much to consider smooching this fine, fine boi. Smooching was beneath him, anyway. Kings of the darned don’t smooch. They bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh. "Choose your limb, son."

Iván was excited at the prospect of finally getting to feed. He was feeling quite famished, truth be told, having traversed the vastness of the night, scurrying from one village to the next, all to survive his cursed swords of a fate. Bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh.

  7. She stared as the girl immediately broke character, the wolf woman feeling rather awkward before her shoulders slumped and she just stepped into the room proper. If the girl wasn't planning to go along with the spirit of things there wasn't really much reason for Mizuki to do so, since she wasn't that enthusiastic about being a vampire anyway. Even having the vampire mastery already felt odd.

Wolf ears, but essentially yes. And that's the idea, although I'd rather their scenario hadn't involved dumping me in the middle of a storm.

Crouching and placing her hands on the floor Mizuki began to shake herself like a proper canine, sending droplets of water flying as she tried to dry herself as best she could without any towels. Once she at least wouldn't be dripping everywhere she sat down on the floor, looking at Magi and noting that this was the first person aside from herself with two eye colours.

Well, I'm Ueno Mizuki. Nice to meet you. Do you think they'd have towels prepared in here or would this be the only room they actually rendered?

  8. _____Needless to say if anyone knew Kaede, the woman did not take so kindly to males. Tack on the fact that now one even seemed to invade a place she was stuck calling home? Eyes flickered with rage, it did not matter if it was his choice, or if it would not be so liked by the host but Kaede's temper was sparked. She moved as quickly as she could towards the intruder and got ready to show exactly how unhappy she was with the situation.

_____Hands reached for the male's right arm, pulling it closer before moving to hook it over her shoulder and with every pit of strength she had in her, moving to duck down and pull the male upward over her arm. If she was successful the boy would find his back slammed to the wooden floor before Kaede tried to further the damage by bending her leg to try and slam his skull down with her Knee as she growled. He entered the house of the wrong woman, who's father not only taught her self defense, but the military version.

  9. "I know, right? I've found myself sleeping under a mountain more than I have under a roof as of late." Haru holds his hand out to the side to take a second mug from the servitor for tonight.

He would readily admit that this night was turning out fun for him. The sound of rain was lovely, and the topic so far had pulled on him. He had thought so earlier at the mansion but it was nice to hear of her field of research! It tickled his heartstrings to hear someone who also poured their time looking over disease. ...Even if it was just something that was picked up in the game...

He wasn't curious as to how research was conducted in a setting like this.

    Nope, not at all.

...Do the people here wait in college for years to get a grant or would he be able to just pick up where he left off-
Haru takes a long swig of his own mug (wow, this was awful) and leans in. "Have you made any big splashes yet? With the research, I mean."

  10. Oh, good, a scene change where he could get a drink. Aristides was okay with this...even if it was beer. Standing just outside the window he waved his hand and summoned the flagon of beer, chugging it down with surprising ease. This was far from his first time drinking. Then, with that done, he decided standing in the rain in this ridiculous costume was probably going to get him sick. Could you get sick in TerraSphere?...eh, best not to find out now.

Where's the door to this place?

Aristides looked at the large windows in front of him. With the curtains drawn he couldn't see inside, but there was one that was clearly unlocked. So this was how he was supposed to get in? He lightly shoved open the window. Sure enough as soon as he did so the lightning flashed and a peal of thunder roared behind him, causing him to jump inside faster than he'd planned. Inside the room was quite well decorated, and laying on the bed was...

...wait, no, not laying on the bed. They were awake. And pointing quite furiously at Aristides, who in turn gave a weak, sheepish, fanged smile. They must have been mad about the rain. Well, he had opened the window at the most inopportune time. And he was breaking in.

    "Ah--sorry about that."

Turning around he shut the window behind him, the rain and wind and curtains whipping at him until he finally managed to close and lock the damn thing. He then turned to face @Rook the Quick on the bed. Huh. He was pretty hungry for some reason. How long had they been here, anyway.

"Well, there is a storm going on. Sorry. I didn't want to get wetter. Do you have a towel anywhere?"

  11. When she felt someone dive onto her bed, Velka just sighed. It was going to be one of those days wasn't it? She thought that the assassins would have the courtesy to not attack while she was on holiday but things were how they were. Listening to the pitiful attempts at intimidation of her attacker, she rolled off the bed and clambered onto her feet. While she was unarmed, that didn't mean she was defenseless. Nevermind the fact that she had no fist fighting capabilities experience nor training, she needed some sort of weapon quick. In the lack of one, she hefted the heavy tome she was reading and waved it about menacingly. Though she really wasn't in a position to make any demands with her lack of... anything, appearances were important.

"Run away, assassin. Your ambush has failed."

  12. It seems that they both finally got a grasp on what's happening in here. "Hmm, they set up the settings and we roleplay? I'm not familiar with speed dating, let alone this kind of speed dating." She continued, showing the costume, the transformed body and her fangs. "Still, I don't find anything romantic with a vampire break in, except if this was another Twilight fanfiction. Wasn't I supposed to seduce you, not drink your blood until dry?"

Corvella sat on one edge of the bed, fixing the uncomfortable cloak every second or so. "Well, we both signed up for this. You haven't told me your name."

  13. The figure’s sheepishness (and the storm’s wet-ness) seemed to damp down Rook’s cranky mood. Oh, fine! Those who were wet needed shelter, and his cozy bedroom was warm and dry (at least, it had been before the intruder had opened the window.)

Making shooing motions to tell him to CLOSE the square of blowing rain and flashing storm (which the man did) Rook wrapped the covers more snugly around himself and threw his legs over the side of the bed. Visibly struggling, he fought against the tucked-in sheets and pulled the entire bedspread off the mattress.

Padding up to Aristides with no fear or hesitation, still wrapped snugly in comforters that trailed behind him like a bridal train, Rook peered up at the tall man, the strong man. His beady eyes were curious. Would Mamá and Papá be upset that he had let the stranger in?

In a single motion—quite suddenly— Rook’s arms came up over his head and the fabric flared out like a tablecloth being set upon the wood, settling gently over the two melee fighters. Rook sat down on the ground as the folds settled around them like a blanket fort and scooted closer, drawing his corner of the comforter around him. “We can... share?” his strained, muffled voice came from behind his mask.

  14. This one could actually fight back, her mind spoke to her in a pleased tone, surprised by how the man had willingly agreed to her plea for some of his blood. A gentle smile on his face the sole answer that remained after all of his words already left his lips, making the vampiric woman ignore the gesture he'd used with her and just walk closer again.

As he listed his conditions for Portia to acquire a taste of him, she nodded without paying too much attention to any of it, knowing full well no one would hold it against her if something bad happened because this little boy refused to feed her, even when she had asked in a nice way! ''Thank you,'' she mused as her hand snapped to seize his exposed wrist, forcefully holding onto the same hand he had used to push her away and sinking her fangs onto his delicate skin without waiting for any confirmation.

''Oh, that feels so refreshing,'' she stated as she pulled back from the little man's wrist, licking away the remnants of his blood clinging to her parted lips, stained with the same deep shade of red than that of Hanno's blood. To accompany the gesture, she pulled a chair from its rightful place and brought it to the same place in which she stood, finally sitting down in a graceful manner even if her eyes did not leave the Faerin's tiny frame, not even for a single second.

''Portia Ahrens.'' The woman then heaved a sigh, relieved to let go of an invisible weight that had been forced on her, part of her personality returning to its normal characterization even if just for a brief moment. However, a deal was a deal and she didn't have to be proven weak to a rather silly change of masteries. ''And I swear I'm gonna kill Maddy for signing me up for this...''

  15. "You are welcooo-" Hanno shivered feeling the fangs piercing his flesh, slowly draining part of his blood. 'Gaaaaaaaah...' The Faerin flinched a bit while moaning internally. 'That's nothing compared to a normal blood donation, that feels so weird.' He thought while mentally wishing to that end soon.

After getting his arm released, he shaked his hand while getting a few chills on his spine. For some reason his arm felt a bit necrotic and numb, even though his arm looked perfectly fine. Then he looked at the vampire woman, and at least as consolation it looked like the woman was feeling better. She didn't even looked like she was going to attack him anymore. 'She was probably feeling very bad. Well, problem solved!'

The Faerin smiled at the woman finally telling her name, though something felt wrong about it... Did it really count as a good thing, considering he had to trade his blood for that? Even though finding out her name was just a bonus.

"Maddy? Who is it, a friend of yours?" Hanno asked as he pressed the sleeve of his tunic against the bite mark, wishing that he had his usual White Magic to heal his arm already. 'If this Maddy is her friend... It seems this friendship will soon end. Good luck there, Maddy!'
