Personality
Alexander is a savant in every aspect of his life. From school work to sports he never fails to out preform everyone. As such he is used to drawing the ire of everyone around him, but that doesn't stop him from trying to help them be the best they can be. He views himself as nothing more than a man who tries his hardest in every aspect of his life. He treats everyone around him as though they were his better, and constantly watches them keenly to find anyway in which he can learn from them.
Alexander was born mute. He is unable to speak as such he puts very little stock in the words of others. Learning from a very young age that actions mean far more than words. More often than not he will ignore the words of those around him and act on his own accord or watch them to see if their actions match their words. This lack of trust however does not mean he isn't loyal. Should you be a person where your actions and words are aligned and you are genuinely a good person he will become the best friend you never knew you had.
His lack of trust in speech has also made him more keen on animal companions as their words never betray their actions. This present itself in many ways, but the major point is more times than not he would prefer the company of animals over people. He loves the outdoors and the wilderness, as well as anyone who fights for those things, or just animals in general.

Biography
Alexander Bishop is the first born of his parents four children. He had two younger brothers and a younger sister. The family was an extremely wealthy family as both his parents were inheritors to large fortunes and family companies. With their fortunate combine they stepped up into the top two percentile of wealthy families. This lead to Alex and his siblings being spoiled rotten, but unlike most rich boys Alex also believed in working hard, and one day had a dream about changing the world.
He was born mute and as such this created problems for him in life even though his family was super rich. He never wanted to be able to speak because he found his lack of ability to speak as a gift rather than a curse. It showed him the people who truly cared and those that did not. This made it easier for him to focus on everything else in his life. In school he was the number student for both grades and sports. The captain of every team he joined and the state champion for a large number of sports in California area. All in all he was the person everyone wanted to be. He had amazing grades, was wanted by every school in the nations, and had insane amounts of money to top it all off. Nothing could stand in his way not even being mute.
A year ago during a football game for state championships at his high-school, a student from the opposing team attacked Alexander on the field breaking his kneecap, and causing a major head injury that ended up leaving Alex blinded. To add insult to injury his family was in a horrible car accident on the way to see him and only his younger sister survived, but she is on life support expected not to make it. The series of events turned his life upside down. What was once a super promising college student now had nothing. All offers had been withdrawn from him, and most of his friends abandon him. Seeing his lack of vision as to much of a burden on top of not being able to make his needs known easily.
His only remaining friend and now in house care taker was a boy from his high school that he was tutoring in math. The kid wasn't smart, but he sure did love himself some video games. In the last few months he has slowly begun to introduce Alexander to the grand world of VR video games. Loving the fact that in game Alex had his sight he joined the boy on many occasions playing games with him, recently his caretaker has been trying to get him to try out this new game. It's supposedly super real, and you can even feel what your character feels. Just like the good old days of early VR. After months of trying he has convinced Alexander to try to the game Terrasphere.
